Tao Massage

Nice, clean, typical sort of massage place. Therapists were nice and professional. Be sure to confirm the price before the service because some of the photos online or on their site are very out of date. VERY expensive foot reflexology. It was $100 each for 60 min foot reflexology and the foot scrub add on and we were shocked by the price at the end. Not a bad experience, but for the price I would have gone to a higher end spa.

I discovered Tao massage about 6 months ago and can not tell you how great they are! They do have a variety of massages to choose from with a selection of addons, lotions, and oils in a preofessional and quiet setting. I go as often as I can and always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.

This place was one of the best amazing experiences from the phone call of inquiring all the way to the greeting and the massage left me floating all day long and I did not take a pictures or videos but this place was nothing short of amazing 🙏🏽🥰 I highly recommend this place.. Anna was an amazing tech she went above and beyond the call of duty and she was so very polite and patient. Everything in the facility was very clean and I will definitely be here at least twice a month 🥰🙏🏽 .

I have been very sore for the last few weeks. I called this morning and they got me right in no waiting. This was the best massage I’ve ever had. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean. I will be back very very soon. Thank so much I feel amazing.

Overall experience was amazing! Hospitality was amazing. Mike was my masseuse and he was extremely respectful. He made sure I was comfortable from beginning to end! We even had a laugh here and there. I walked in feeling all tight and tense and walked out feeling like a new person!

Not the cheapest, but probably the best experience Ive had in Birmingham. Very thorough and constantly ensuring pressure and satisfaction. They also listen to needs and seem to focus there which is not always the case. I took my niece and we both had an incredible experience. Can highly recommend.

I recently had open heart surgery so I couldnt lay on a table or use the specially designed massage chair that they had. So, they had me sit on a stool and they did a 30 minute massage on the stool. I had a lot of pain in my left shoulder and the male masseuse worked the knots out on both the left and the right shoulders using deep tissue massage. Highly recommended.

Me and my fiancé had a massage here for our anniversary and it was fantastic! Amazing staff and amazing massages!!

The last massage I had at Tao was incredible but yesterday my 60 minutes was not good at all. The person must be new when he came into the room he did not ask me where I was having any issues. He worked on my back for a long time until I told him to stop. There was not enough time to turn over at all. It seemed the back was his focus. So disappointed plus they are charging 3% to use a credit card.

I’ve been here twice for hot stone massage and received great service each time. The last time I was there I had requested a female and they sent a male in so I had to wait 10 minutes for them to get a female even though at booking I specifically said I wanted a female. Then they had increased the price without telling me at time of booking. I spoke to the manager and she charged me the same price I’d paid before since the new price wasn’t disclosed to me at booking. Other than those two minor hiccups I’ve always received great service here. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Second massage here and it was amazing! Mike was communicative and personable. He worked out several knots in my back and had me feeling brand new! Love this place. Would recommend highly!

A friend introduced me to Tao Massage a couple of years ago...this establishment and professionals never disappoint! I travel approximately an hour because of the quality customer care, clean/welcoming environment and knowledgeable staff. With each visit I ask for what I want, they provide what I need as well and I leave satisfied. My last visit, I had the pleasure of receiving services from Leo and he was exceptional. For these reasons, Tao Massage has a lifelong customer and Ill continue to recommend to others.

I just went for my first massage, which I was able to schedule the same day. I got the 60 min full body + 15 min feet massage from Leo, and it was absolutely amazing! One of THE BEST massages Ive ever had. I will be going back for sure! Thank you, Leo!

All we can say is “WOW” the absolute best massage I have ever had and I’ve had alot of them! I took my son here this morning after many of them were booked! No appointment needed the guy said when I called yesterday. At first I was a little skeptical because all other massage parlors are by appointment only but because they had a 4.8 star rating we decided to go! We showed up at 9 AM this morning they had just opened up. They immediately took us to two separate and here came two incredible massive therapists! To our surprise these two completely shocked us! Our massages were thoughtful throughout the 90 minutes not missing a body part! GO HERE! It’s an incredible experience to say the least! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We wish we lived here so we could visit weekly!

This is my go to for a REAL MASSAGE!! The other places around might have all the bells and whistles, but I always leave still needing an actual massage. That’s never the case at Tao Massage! I’ve been going for years and had the BEST massage of life last week with Jim (I think that’s his name). I’m always telling my friends and family that if they want real results go to Tao, you won’t be disappointed! And there’s never a wait! You’ve got a loyal customer in me :)

From the states to Europe, this is the BEST massage Ive experienced to date. It is not a fluffy expensive spa business to distract you from the underwhelming massage - they are the REAL deal when it comes to massages. All of the pain points you wish would be taken care of during a massage but normally arent - ARE taken care of here without even voicing it. I called and had a same day massage. Highly recommend.

We got a hot stone couples massage with hot lavender oil. The massage was great! The downside of the experience was the staff. We could hear other associates talking right outside the room. The ladies that provided our services were talking to each other the entire hour. One of them kept leaving the room. We couldnt enjoy the experience like wed like too.

Today my husband and I went for a couple’s massage. It was the first massage for both of us; so neither of us knew what to expect. There were so many things that happened that made the experience questionable. The room we were set up in was very muggy and hot. During the massage, the lady that was massaging my husband took his underwear off without asking and threw it behind her. The music playing in the room was on Spotify and had multiple ads throughout the whole session. The man and woman kept talking to each other in a different language and it made it awkward because it felt as if they were talking about us. The guy that massaged me at one point stood at my head and reached all the way down to my butt which caused him to have to lean over me leaving my head in a very awkward position. The staff seems nice but it was not a relaxing and peaceful experience.

Several weeks ago i was in town and had a busy week and did alot of yard workduring a hot week and was very sore. I decided to go get a massage ,even though it was late I was able to get in and it was the best massage I ever had . Left feeling relaxed and 100% better . Thanks for the terrific massage. I recommend if your hurting or have aches and pains come get a massage here you will leave feeling great.

Today my husband and I went for our Anniversary. This was our second time coming to TAO. Great masseurs, we definitely felt better when we left. We do plan to go again in the near future!

Beat massage I’ve ever had.I have been to spas all over the United States and I can confidently say Tao is the best massage I’ve ever had. Granted it is a no frills experience but that is completely fine with me. Excellent value. Professional staff. Highly recommended.

My husband and I felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. The staff is so energetic and hospitable. Leo did a good job with my massage. I just wish the lights would have been dimmer and I wanted music in the room.

Just went here with my husband and my friend who was visiting from out of town. It was an excellent experience!! We all got hour long foot massages and our masseuses were all amazing. The people here are so kind and friendly. I will be back and I will tell all my friends!!

Went for a couple massage, the lady assigned to me was awful she didn’t hit any of the spot an pressure points hardly and when she got to my 15 min foot massage she hardly did anything other than hold them. My girl friend was assigned a guy that she said did a decent job, but he was constantly sniffling and acting cracked out. The environment was awful they were snickering back an fourth talking Chinese while we were trying to relax. Beware, I would not recommend a couples massage.
