Just a really average liquor store. The selection isn’t that great. The prices don’t seem that bad, however. Every bottle in the store has a loss prevention device on it.They do have a pretty extensive selection for tobacco.I dothink there are some much better stores in the area for your liquor needs.
I worked here, and they refused to pay out my PTO, even though they didn’t have a policy of forfeiture thereof. This is the most corrupt employer I’ve ever worked for, as they didn’t have me sign a contract, yet they made me an exempt employee, getting no overtime, without my knowing when hired. There was no knowledge of this whatsoever. Extremely short-staffed, all upper management smoke hella weed in the store, and that’s why other reviews will say it smells like incense. This company was the worst company I’ve ever worked for; they put me on a schedule where I never was able to have a consistent sleep schedule. They constantly change the prices without employees knowing, to price-gouge their customers. Their vapes are extremely overpriced; they are literally the worst company any person can work for. They hire @ $13 for non-management and expect adults will want to work there to live at their parents, or something, while that store does at least $6000 in sales a day on average. The most mismanaged company in the quad cities, hands down.
I would rate this store 0 stars if I could.Went in late at night and bought 2 packs of cigarettes not realizing I was given the wrong cigs. They wouldn’t let me swap them for my kind even though I kept them completely sealed. Incredibly rude cashier. Apparently 20$ worth of cigarettes is worth losing 2 whole customers. 👍🏼 I’d recommend any convenience store in the quad cities other than this establishment. :-)
Pretty basic. Need smokes, vape, beer, snacks, soda they have that covered. My issue is the wholly over powering incense smell. It is always there, always gaggingly strong. Other wise prices are good, store seems clean enough.
Never buy vape gear from these guys. I got a sub ohm tank and over night it leaked out 5mls of juice out of the air holes. i did some research on the tank and it got great reviews. i took it back and they wouldnt refund or help me out in anyway because they have no idea how the tanks work. She said that it was my fault because i didnt check to see if the head was tightened. When you buy a product it should be ready to go. and i shouldnt have to fix things wrong with it. The issue with the tank is not their fault but her saying the tank not working was my doing is not professional. They have good juice prices but there service on the mechanical parts on vaping are horrible.
Went there to save money on cigarettes only to find that there is a $0.25 charge to use my debit or credit card. that is crazy since all businesses have to pay the same charge that you do and no one else charges a $0.25 fee. Wonder if thats personal greed or corporate greed.
Bait and switch pricing!!! I walk in, make a selection of beer noting the price, and when cashiers rings me up its $2 more than price on shelf!! To which he replies, Well prices change all the time, what do you want me to do? I want you to get off your butt, get from behind the counter and change the price on the shelf!!! This store is not open 24 hours, leaving all night long, every night to make price changes! I will not spend any of my hard earned money here!!!
So I have had multiple problems here and now I go in seriously wont let me pay 2.49 on my debit card Im not gonna buy more stuff when I dont need it there customer service needs some serious work. Update so I went up to the tabacco outlet in the village shopping mall and it has the nicest lady that helped me and I got a larger box of tubes for the same price I was gonna pay for a small box and I used my debit card smokin joes you lost my business but no worries I found somewhere alot better ; )
As loyal, local customers we mentioned our desire for 30 packs of High Life (uncommon, I know). To our delight, tonight...they were now in stock. Great job. Thank you.
RUDE staff! Unbelievable how they treat customers and even curse at them! As if they werent already over priced you would think they would train employees basic human decency!
Terrible phone service. Was told I would receive a call back. I never did so I went in and asked to purchase something and the staff could not sell it because it seemed like they did not know how. Would recommend going to kwik star
Ridiculously rude staff black guy needs to be replacement he looks tired and dusty and needs training on customer service and how to deal with the public the only comments he should be making are the ones pertaining to his job and nothing else he needs to learn his place as a worker not a owner and not a manager very rude and ignorant
Watch out for bait and switch pricing! The door says one price but the product rings up higher. When I pointed out the difference in price they were indifferent and wouldnt give me the price advertised. Avoid this place if possible.
