I love turning leaf! The staff are so kind and helpful. If you have questions, they always help. Theres sometimes cool deals on international foods or samples of products. Pets allowed inside too which is cool. And they have a rewards program.

It was my first time buying cigars, and Sophie was extremely wonderful and helpful! Many props to Sophie for her amazing customer service and help! 🚬❤️

I am starting off with the reason I will no longer shop at this store that I frequented anytime I was in the area for my vape supplies. The clerk grabbed the incorrect item (and I didnt check it before I paid and walked out) I instantly turned around as I noticed they gave me the wrong items (and the prices werent correct either for it) but they told me they were unable to return it due to store policy I could only get in store credit. Which would not have been a problem if they actually had the items I needed. I wasnt rude or disrespectful, as I understand being in the service industry, but I couldnt purchase anything else, so in store credit would do me zero good. This policy unfortunately lost a loyal customer, and I will tell others who I have sent to this store about my experience. Since we do not live in the area, we stock up on vape supplies, so our purchases are substantial each time. We will now take that business elsewhere as I do not want to risk getting things I can not use and not be able to get my money back. If it was my mistake, I would not have had a problem, but this was not my issue, rather the employee. I highly suggest changing this for future customers.Pro: This store is clean and well organized, which is why I preferred it prior to this experience.

This shop was my first and only stop for cigars, getting ready for the weekend. Decent prices, about on par with the area. There’s a large walk in humidor and some cigars you won’t see in the rest in Duluth, worth checking out.The shop was clean and everyone was helpful. Well placed to be a convenient upper range cigar provider for the Hermantown area.Will be back again.

Emily was absolutely lovely! She is very professional and very personable I was charmed I cant wait to go there again soon !

*update* After 3 years of coming here, this shop is STILL my favorite. The store is clean, neat, and all the staff members Ive met have been nothing other than amazing and helpful. I highly recommend Turning Leaf for CBD, vaping, and other smoking needs! I also enjoy their rewards program.

I usually go to their other location in uptown because I live near there but I was out of town for a concert and Alex and Kirstie were extremely kind and cool people. Amazing customer service and Kirstie has decorated the store beautifully. Will definitely come back when I’m up here again!

They are no longer going to carry the Wild product. Not happy about that. Do not like the taste of the other brands they carry.

So many great things to say about this business, but the customer service was hands down the best I have ever experienced at any place of business in my 37 years of life. They have an awesome variety as well.

This was the first time I had been to this location since they purchased the store that was previously here. My initial thoughts were on how clean and calming the store is. They have a very welcoming atmosphere and the employees just added to it. Everyone there was very nice and quick to offer help.

They have a lot of products to choose from and always have friendly, helpful staff on hand for questions. The store is always clean and welcoming, and is just a short distance off of 53 near the mall and tons of other stores and restaurants.

Best place for all your vape and CBD needs. Knowledgeable staff willing to answer most any question one could think of.

Went to check out their pod devices as I wanted something smaller than my box mod. The staff member there was very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. Its a very nice shop, and a cool atmosphere. Nice selection of all vape related stuff. Higher end devices at reasonable prices. Large selection of juices as well. I highly recommend at least poking your head in and looking around. Ill be going back.

Ive been vaping for 6+ years now, and Ive come to realize that theres typically two types of e-shops; decent and horrible. Its very rare that I find one that stands out exceptionally. However, I was obviously impressed by these guys enough to write this all out. The place has a relaxed vibe to it and the team and management are always super helpful and knowledgeable. Customer service is a 10/10 and it doesnt feel faked or forced. If I were you, I would even bother checking out that next shop you were gonna research unless you REALLY want to. Just come here; you wont regret it!

Everyone who made this place great left. The new store manager spoke poorly about the previous people for leaving and frankly, I don’t blame them. Also, very poor taste to speak about employees former and present to people’s whoms business it is not. The feel, expertise, and selection all made this my favorite shopping errand… and now it’s gone. The new people don’t know enough to be able to suggest oils, there’s no hard copy menu, no menu on the website, and the oils are too far away read and figure it out yourself. And now they don’t have atomizers for my K1. I don’t need my vape shop to have ultra cool hip pipes and boutique witchy stuff (still speaking as a semi-paganish atheist), I need a welcoming vibe and friendly knowledgeable people with a logical supply. Y’all (the business) lost a treasure in your people and environment. :(

This is the only smoke shop I will use! I actually feel safe walking into this shop, calming atmosphere, and EXTREMELY educated and friendly staff. PLUS they really take the wellness part of their business seriously! Its not just a vape shop. They have a huge array of products that have helped me learn to manage my chronic pain after a life changing diagnosis. Truly a great CBD & wellness store that also sells high quality nicotine products 😂. I highly recommend over every vape shop in the duluth superior area and Ive lived here much whole life!

Walked in with no greeting or acknowledgment I was there, as a new buyer of vape products I wasnt impressed. Finally someone greeted me, didnt get his name (possibly Noah? After calling and asking), he was the most helpful for me being new into this. Helped me all the way through. Very knowledgeable and helpful at meeting my pricing needs and liquid needs. Wouldve been 5 stars if everyone was more approachable but I didnt feel that aspect was there when it needed to be.Edit: seemed as if staff was more talkative and inviting to regular customers.

Always so welcoming to walk in and be greeted instantaneously. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. They can help anyone new get their foot in the door of the vaping community. And cant forget their comparative pricing on mods, liquid, and so much more!

The cool vape shop is dead. I miss how the lake effect staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I miss how lake effect was focused only on vaping and I really miss the bar-like setup they had. I am actually depressed by how much it has gone downhill since the management changeover. I really strongly dislike how woo and homeopathic it has become. I really miss how laid back and relaxed the old staff was too, the new staff are much less knowledgeable. If I could give 0 stars I would. Esp after noticing the one 5 star review is from the owner

I just was in there with my fiancee about a half an hour ago and got a brand new Wake Bigfoot mod and some new e-juice Had the same guy Ive had the other 4 times Ive been there. I see alot of negativity about customer service and prices. Ive had nothing but exceptional service everyime Ive been there and I looked around and got all my stuff at the same price as everywhere else. We love our new mod and I this shop and will continue to go here when I am in the area.

The customer service is really unpredictable here. Day time staff is consistently good and helpful, whereas there are nights where youre lucky if the staff will acknowledge your presence, say hello, identify themselves as staff as they vape in the lounge with guests, (or as I found last night, even honor their rewards system, sorry bro, too late.)Never again if I can help it.

Prices are a bit high but they make up for high prices with great quality products. You get what you pay for. The customer service is exquisite. Always friendly, always fair and in some cases they will help you find what you need if they dont have it which is extremely rare.

I was able to look through their excellent website and know exactly what I wanted when I walked in the door! They have a unique and very good selection. Im certain I just chose two new favorite flavors! Their prices are reasonable too. Friendly service. Very clean and well organized store!

Great atmosphere and very helpful staff but you are paying for it here. Paid $17 for a battery because I was in a jam but not my first experience there. They offer free coil builds for drippers. Not sure how advanced they will get for free but if you want a simple macro coil your good.

Staff is kick ass. Best selecton of liquid Ive come across in Minnesota. Lots of out of State stuff (Primitive Vapor Co.!!!) I only recommend this shop (both its location on Maple Grove Rd. And its Woodland Ave. Location). The customer service is second to none. Kick ass shop with kick ass liquid and kick ass staff.

My wife and I come to this place for everything vape related. They actually answer your questions and dont make you feel like your just money. Everytime we come in were greeted with hello and friendly staff. Always great deals on juices. Great selection also.

I have been to both locations and the one on maple grove is always the go to. Top notch service everytime at that location, best products and great atmosphere. Employees are great and it makes you wonder why you would even consider going to cigs for less or the smoke shop(s)

Disappointed with my experience here, I bought vape juice and you can’t even smoke it. I tried it in 3 different vapes, 2 of them had brand new coils. You should have your juices on display out of the boxes. My coils are now wrecked with that terrible juice. So I’ll be going to superior to get new juice and coils. 🤦‍♀️

Good folk. Flavor profile is spot on. Wish they made their own juice. Standard price is $20 for a 30ml. A little off the beaten path, but I would visit again.

I arrived into a well-dressed room of men vaping. That is where the enjoyable, comfortable experience ended. I could tell one person worked there; it wasnt his greeting, just that he was behind the glass counter. There were three other folks there. Maybe they worked there, but judging by their demeanor, they were tools who judged anyone who walked in. Even if I asked a a question, I felt thirst for condescension all over everyone there; this includes the second man working there. The shop would have a very nice atmosphere. It would have a manageable selection of products to choose from. The fact is, not being able to find an employee to help you find a flavor, or even an employee to greet you, makes for an unpleasant experience.

Best vape store in the Twin Ports and surrounding areas. I love their rewards program! Its always nice when a business shows their loyal customers appreciation!

Been a regular for years to lake effect vapor and theres a reason. Very friendly and helpful. Always willing to spend the time and find exactly what you need. And carry some great vape brands such as five pawns and sicboy. If you are visiting the area and vape this store is a must stop.

This was with out a doubt the WORST customer service that I have ever received. After spending 20 minutes waiting for assistance the clerk completly ignored us and pushed past us to help other customers that had just walked in. Not once did either clerk acknowledge that we were even in the store or that they intended to help us. We left without any service which is fine. My money is better spent elsewhere.

Some backyard boogie vape shop. Low tier ass juices only. Only good thing about this shop is the selection of mods 2 choose from but if you want new juice just go somewhere else it’s disgusting.

Great place to chill and vape. I just moved up here and was told about this place. The. Vape juice they have is very good and the staff are chill as hell. If ur in Duluth this is the vape shop you need to be going to hands down.

Really sick of coming in here and seeing people vaping inside. Its against Minnesota law. Stop letting your patrons do it. Maybe remove the bar since it only encourages loitering of people who dont have anything better to do. On top of that prices are 50% higher than anywhere else on tanks and mods.
