Truth Lounge and Club

The worst thing I have ever experienced. I have only been here once, and I will never go back. I attended the Haitian Flag Day event, where they fooled the public by altering the ticket price three times. The price dropped from 45 dollars to 60 in person but they had people paying 100 dollars when paid in person. Their two security guards could not even perform their jobs and spoke very little English, making their check-in procedure disorganized. Everyone tried to push security and shove them over in an attempt to enter the lounge because they had been waiting for so long. I bought 3 tickets and my guests were not able to get in due to this. Eventually the police showed up and I respectfully left but the ruckus was still going on. Long story short Truth remember I need a refund!!! and your Lounge has a capacity of 350 people STOP over selling tickets and scamming people. You guys got fined last year for causing disturbance to the community and you will be getting fined again.

I paid for a programm on their website . First they dont provide me of any ticket . Thry just took the money and mention my ticket is being process . They dont provide me of any more information after that . When you try to contact them for a refund . The phone keep ringing . I put a picture down there. But i gave them 4 star cause the owner call me back and gave me a full refund . Really appreciate that.

One of the best lounge in Fort Lauderdale. vibrant atmosphere, pulsating music, and friendly staff created the perfect setting for a night out. The DJ skillfully mixed tracks, keeping the energy high,there is always an amazing and high profile performance . The dance floor was lively, and the diverse crowd added to the overall excitement. The drinks were expertly crafted, and the venues chic decor enhanced the overall ambiance. I cant wait to go back for another unforgettable night! Very luxurious definitely worth the price.

Went for a Halloween Party recently, The Service was good smooth transition to get in the line was long due to the high popularity but I’m guessing because it was a holidayI tried some bbq wings to get something extra on my stomach before grabbing a drink I’ll advised you to get them as well.But overall for my first time there it was cool and a good vibe.

The staff and the customer are very rude, the door man / security very disrespectful... The prices for the tickets are always different for everyone. My last tickets was $155 cause we were white gay couple. The so called lounge place is what we called it a hole in the wall... with cheap decor and terrible service... Hell I witnessed several men having guns and there no taking away from the staff at the door... Please get back in car n go to Miami.... This place is a Joke.....

SCAM ALERT!!!! Janky promoters and management! LIED about a costume contest that was supposed to happen tonight!! $500 prize for the winner!! NEVER HAPPENED! I stayed at the event from start to end - 4 hours!! I even waited outside 45 minutes until they opened their doors (which was after midnight - later than advertised)!! They said $2 drinks till midnight - doors didnt open until after midnight. I was standing by the door the entire night! They posted this fake flyer all over social media!! I will never come back!! Please do not waste your time!! They obviously dont live up to their name. Also, there were UNDERAGE girls drinking in there!! I stood next to a girl at the bar that said she was 19 (she looked 16). She was with 2 other underage friends. One of them got extremely intoxicated and had to be carried outside by the other two!! I have their phone numbers and pictures of them too!! This club needs to be shut down!!______________________________Reply to the condescending response from the Owner: Im not mad because I didnt leave with $500.. Your attempt at being condescending is cute. Your establishment LIED about a costume contest that never took place! Your establishment falsely advertised this fake contest all over social media and had zero intentions of paying a dime!!! Nobody got one red cent - dont make this about me not getting anything. I had to work the next day at 8AM. I wouldve never gone to your establishment and stayed until 4AM on a work night!! I only came for the costume contest! I also have the 19 year olds phone number and picture. Her friend was obviously drunk and had to be carried out of the establishment. I guess that was a strong mocktail she was made lol. My daughter has also confessed to drinking at your establishment while being underage. She and her friends have multiple receipts. Ill alert the authorities and provide them with this information and well leave it in their hands. Hopefully your establishment will get raided and shut down.

Really great spot with great music. But the best part of my experience here was their Bartender Izzy. She was so charismatic and full of energy. She definitely took my club experience to another level. I will definitely come back.

Definitely can use more bartenders. It was only one person making the drinks and couldnt control who was next. The atmosphere is nice. Plenty of space to dance and eat

The service wasn’t bad, but I went on a Saturday night, and it was very dead. Wasn’t fun at all.

Very nice vibe. Felt very lively and safe. The music and food was fie. Along with the service they really good. Should definitely check them out.

This place is literally a SCAM. Brought tickets on line for their Haitian flag day event and didn’t even get in. Waited in line for 1 1/2 hours just for one of their works to harass people by stating “if you have a ticket you’re not getting in unless you pay $60-$100.” At that point we left because why are you selling tickets online and charging the same people that brought tickets at the door! Additionally waiting in line is a was extremely horrendous due to people pushing one another, people skipping. They have no sense of organization when it comes to getting people inside. That was my first time ever going there and wouldn’t go again! Wish I could give them a zero .

This place doesnt even deserve one star. At the door, it took 20 minutes to get in and thats with already paying through EVENTBRITE.Once in, it took 25 minutes to be served and was then told we were in the wrong area to sit in.We were directed on where to sit and took an additional 30 minutes just to be served. The servers are upside down and have no sense of customer service. The one waitress thats was polite enough to serve us was diverted to serve the artists and left the customers to wait.I am not sure what their policy on customer service is in this establishment but it needs a massive overall immediately. I will never come here and really feel that my party and I deserve a refund for this deplorable service.

Absolutely the worse event I went too. They flyer stated be there before 12. The line has been pack since 1050. Doors did not open till 1215. Everyone who order the free tickets were charged 35 at the door. Even though flyer clearly stated 11. Door weren’t open and only let women in till it had become 1215. I would not invest in any of there upcoming events. They will wait until last min to open doors. Purposely charging everyone to avoid there free entry they so proudly promoted Event 2016 August 13 2022. I mean don’t go to it you’ll lose money going to a club no one dance at or get ripped off

Terrible experience, whole place is a scam. Me and my friends bought tickets online that stated “free entry until 12:00 doors open at 11:00”. Turns out the doors don’t open until 12 and when we asked about it in line a worker assured us that we would be fine. We waited in line over a hour and once we got to the entrance where we show our tickets they asked for $20. When we explained that one of the workers said otherwise they played stupid and acted as if we were dumb. We ended up leaving because they crowd wasn’t very welcoming anyways. Another thing I would like to point out is how stupid the bouncers look with their FAKE cavalier vests that would scratch me every time they walked passed me. All of the workers we’re extremely rude and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

If I could give no stars I would! Never felt so cheated out of a good Saturday night out like this before. Absolute worst place I have ever been to. Got a free ticket as advertised for a costume party (FAU after party) on eventbrite. We got there at 10:50 the club was to supposedly open at 11:00pm and didn’t open 12:00am. The ticket stated to be there before 12:00am and to wear a costume to get in for free.Didn’t get to the door till 1:00am. We waited and got to the door they said it was $55. Never go here complete SCAM!

Went to see a performance and as we were leaving saw my car was towed. No one and I mean no one from the promoter or security advised guests where parking was acceptable. I am not from this area and didn’t know this. Very disappointed that a night that was supposed to be fun, grown and sexy turned into a nightmare. The owner knows this is problem as I was told by the towing company and don’t warn the guests at all. All I wanted to do was support a black business but sometimes good intentions go from good to bad

This was my first time in Fort Lauderdale from NY and this place was recommended. Their website stated that they open at 7pm on Friday. We got there at 10:30pm and they were not open. We spoke to the security guy and he said they open at 11pm. We waited until until 11:15 and still nothing was happening. The place was empty. We couldnt even sit down for dinner or have a drink. They asked us to pay $35 to enter which covers nothing. I was trying to support but I was quite disappointed.

One of the best Night Lounge Club in south Florida, been there several times and the service from the entrance to my sitting area has always been amazing, I would definitely recommend this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff is very rude. The security at the door started arguing with me for no reason. They need to check their customer service.

Owner is very rude.Attending a Haitian comedy show and at opening time (7pm) was told by the door man that the owners just opened the doors to allow them to set up and it would be about 30-45 min before they got started. At which point I was offered a seat at the bar which I declined and asked for a seat that I could stay in. Was told to sit at a table just outside of the reserved section.After about 40 min at the table, I was approached by a gentleman who claimed to be the owner and asked to move as the table I was at had been reserved. I explained there was no reserved sign on the table and had been told to sit here by the the doorman. He said you can move into the vip section but there’s a hookah requirement. I showed him that I was pregnant and not interested, and also would not be moving to the back of the house.He continued to hassle me and ask that I move. I explained I would not be moving. He said he would have to get security to have me removed and give me a refund, and would rather I just move. In the end he sent a promoter over to us who reseated us on the side with an obstructed view.The owner was very rude and unprofessional. Will not attend another event at this venue.

This is the absolute best spot in South Florida!!! Truth Lounge is the only nightclub Ik that has events Mon-Sun so there’s always an excuse to step out. The owner is so professional alongside the partners and staff. Everyone there is just amazing. I always have a great time 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 10 out of 10 !!!!

Two words... Hot Mess....went there for a Caribbean Party as advertised on Eventbrite...it was anything but.... the DJ was horrible.. mostly hip hop and trap music.... I was bored and attempted to set down only to be approached by a bottle service girl who said I could only sit if I bought a bottle.... the pat down by security was piss poor....I didnt feel safe or comfortable...so I left.. not a spot for the grown and sexy crowd...definitely a kiddie club.

First and last time at the lounge last night . I went just to see Major Nine perform , I RSVP last week and let me tell you it was for NO reason . The entry is free until 9:00 PM , we got there at 8:20 and didn’t get inside the club until 10:45 PM where we had to pay $40 for the cover charge.. That was a complete SCAM !

I’m very disappointed. I try to support Haitians and their events but this one wasn’t it. It was the Dro & Yani performance. TERRIBLE. They didn’t perform on time. They got on stage at 1:50. And the club closed at 2. I wanted my money back because I basically paid for a regular night of music really. Dro and yani performance felt rushed.I legit paid for a regular night of music. Very disappointed. And don’t go see 5lan here either. Got no organization.

The fact that everyone is saying the same thing should tell you everything about this place !! THEY LET ALL THEIR “HOMIES” SKIP THE LINE TO GO IN FOR FREE! While everyone who’s been waiting hours has to wait for an extra hour or 2 just to go in. Unprofessional!!! Bad Promoters !
