Me and my wife went to the spa and HOLY SMOKES. I never had such a good experience at a massage place. Amanda had MAGICAL HANDS that lifted the tension from my upper back and shoulders. Felt like a new person!10/10Going back soon

This was my first time here. I got a massage for 90 minutes. Mary did a great job of addressing all parts of my body and took her time throughout. She got out some knots that have been in my neck and back. Will definitely come back! And you get a stamp card so you eventually get a free visit :)

Bottom line: Decent massage, aggressive tip cultureI have gotten a massage three times (in 2 years) and each time Ive gone because it was last minute and they are not far and had openings. Each time the massage helped to alleviate whatever discomfort I walked in with. WIN! however this last time really pissed me off. I got a 1.5 hour massage and added gua sha. I thought the gua sha would be part of the 1.5 hour and done by the same woman. Well I come out with a $25 tip and this 🤬 proceeds to look at the money as if its no good. She then says its two of us, so I reluctantly gave another I think $7. I tell the lady its not my fault it was two of you, one of which just did the last 25 minutes. I said I dont mind tipping but I have to work too. The lady who did the gua sha was nice and understood where I was coming from. The other woman who did my massage, Her nasty, entitled attitude toward my hard earned money overshadowed her massage skills..There are many way better massage spas to ever go here again and I get a lot of massages. Will not recommend your establishment to anyone. Also reminder, Tips are OPTIONAL and not everyone is rich. I had to save up for that damn massage and only had so much to tip.

Loved EVERYTHING about our experience! They were caring, professional and were able to get us in the same day I called to schedule. Its more than reflexology, you get a mini massage and foot soak too..honey he massaged my head! It felt so amazing! Well definitely be back!

I have been coming here for years with my husband and always have a fantastic experience. I had Jimmy and my husband had Jesse. Jimmy was amazing and helped get out my knots in my back. He was professional and seemed to truly care about making me feel better. I have seen other comments where women felt they were handled inappropriately, but I did not think this was the case at all. I highly recommend him. My husband had a similar great experience!

Honestly, it was the best experience at a privately owned massage place. Normally, we go to massage envy, which is a corporation. Taos prices were equal if not cheaper, and they still provided service at a high standard. If youre looking for a firm or deep tissue massage this is your place. I also like that you can book online as opposed to cash only places.

We paid 450.00 for a 600 minute gift certificate and when we went to redeem it they stated that it was expired!! The date said 4/2022 and expiration date was the same date 4/2022. There was no expiration notice on the gift certificate other wise. I sincerely thought, this certificate didn’t expired as we gave them our money! $450.00 They gave us the massages but took the certificates and told us that they were invalid and basically told us that the massage was free to us because the certificates were incorrectly dated!! We left feeling violated and ripped off!I will file a grievance with the Better Business Bureau!After this review, someone wrote to me and offered a refund for the rest of the money not used. I got a 300.00 check in the mail. It took them a while to research my transaction but they made my situation right. Thank you Tao Spa!

I came here for a birthday celebration with my best friend and we got the couples massage and facial treatment. It was the best massages Ive ever had. The staff there were so friendly and very accommodating. They made sure if we were feeling fine during the session. They offered us snacks before we left. It was very thoughtful of them. We tip them pretty well since they did an outstanding job. I will be coming back!

I was very disappointed in my experience. I called to make an appointment ahead of time and let them know I had a gift card via email. The same woman who took my phone call and confirmed that as long as it had a barcode, everything was fine, was the same woman who checked me in. I showed up the day of my appointment and they told me they couldnt take the gift card and that I needed to either pay in cash or by credit card. When I told them all I brought was the gift card and only cash for tip, they kept pushing me to pay by credit card and telling me that their boss was traveling. We went back and forth for a few minutes when I told them Id come back at a time when their boss was back. Finally after a while, they said it was fine and led me back. It was not with the masseuse I booked with it and the rest continued downhill from there.My masseuse talked to another staff member the majority of the time, either through the curtain, in the hallway (left without warning for several minutes), or on her phone. Because the rooms are only separated by curtains, I heard every conversation, movement, and even the traffic out on Glenside Avenue.Her massage movements were not the same on both sides of my body so I left feeling very uneven.At the end of the appointment, she suddenly stopped, said okay times up, and left.I was really hoping to have a local place to support their business but everything was so unprofessional I cant see myself ever returning.

This place is fantastic! The ladies there do a great job and really take the time to work out the knots in your shoulders. They apply the right amount of pressure and check if it’s suitable. I always leave there feeling better. They also give a free massage after 7 visits.

I have been going to Jimmy for years. He is a 20 year massage therapist. Whenever my back gets too tight Jimmy always fixes it. Do yourself a favor and go see Jimmy.

It was an okay experience. In their defense I was 10 minutes late so that could have thrown things off a bit. The service was very rushed I was supposed to get a full body massage w/ hot stones and a facial. Massage was more light tapping no real massage and it wasn’t FULL BODY more back and shoulders. Facial was again okay...no extractions just a lot of wiping my face and tapping again. Overall it was clean and I was able to relax which I needed. I wouldn’t go back there because I truly needed an actual massage and a real facial but for what I paid it was okay.

I purchased a full body massage at Tao Spa, and following the massage I found my body was in more pain than before. Aside from my now painful back, the entire process felt rushed. I was asked multiple times by my masseuse if she could come in while I was undressing. The massage bed itself was more on the firm side, and while I was getting my massage she did not repeat the same massage movements when she got to the left or right side of my body as it appeared she was rushing through the entire process. The masseuse was also talking throughout the session with another staff and used rolling chairs to get around the room which made the session very loud and difficult to relax and achieve some time for mental clarity. The most unpleasant part of my massage was that despite my multiple requests for her to apply soft pressure, I was met with the same deep pressure and apologies instead. I honestly felt like a chicken being slapped on a cutting board. Very very disappointed.If you’re of a smaller frame I recommend you look for a different spa.**********Pros: The staff including my masseuse all appeared nice and they offer complimentary water, coffee, and tea. Also no wait time.

I never do many reviews but I had to leave this one.I haven’t gotten a massage in a few months due to COVID-19. Ive been under a lot of stress and just feeling anxious about life and other things . I decided to book a 60 minute massage to help me PAUSE my thoughts and life for 60 minutes lol this was more than worth it . It’s so peaceful quiet and they are so welcoming. I won’t spare all the details but if you haven’t stopped by you should ! I will return once a week self care love and treatment is needed treat your body and relax your mind they have the perfect setting to do so and perfect for couples singles or friends ! ✨✨✨❤️I was serviced by amanda 😊

My 1st time here was today. It was a treat for my birthday and I loved my full body massage and facial. 💓Wendy did an awesome job. Very attentive and knocked all my knots out. I also met Lillie when I was done. Wonderful women doing their thing. The language difference was not a barrier either as they speak a little english. Clean, warm inviting room. Beautiful brand new place. Got a great 60 minute deep tissue massage and a half hour of foot massage/reflexology for $90.00. Ask for Cindy or Amanda. Amanda did the massage and Cindy did a great job on my feet!! I will definitely be back. :)

Horrible. The massage therapist talked on her phone just about the entire massage. My friend and I went. I think my friend liked her person perhaps.. but they both talked the entire time. It wasnt relaxing at all. Also the facials arw not good and unsanitary. They used the same tools with out cleaning them and none of the basic facial techniques were used. I am a salon owner of 13 years and facilitator. So I know what should have been done. I would never go back. Really upsetting because I was looking for a place to go relax monthly.

I had a facial with Wendy and it was wonderful and very well done. My sister also used to do facials so I was very familiar with an in-depth facial.Wendys touch was light and lovely but also more than met my expectations.I cant wait to go back for more services.

I received a group on certificate for a hot stone massage and lavendar eye mask for my birthday. The service was great. The only issue I had was in making the initial appointment. There was confusion in the location they wanted me to go to and the receptionist wasnt very clear on the phone. That aside, I would recommend.

I bought off Groupon. I walked in and they told me I had no appointment. They accommodate me after they seen the text message from their company. It was my first time and they were not really friendly. My couples massage was suppose to be 70mins and it was not the full 70 mins. At the end we did not know it was over for couple minutes. When we were walking out they demand a tip. There was construction in the background inside building. It was a disappointment
