Ive been to this venue at least half a dozen times now, sometimes to support friends who’ve performed there and other times just to see some of my favorite artists. It has always been such a great overall experience. Good clean crowd too!The venue itself is stunning, with essentially two areas: one you’d consider the main room, and a connected space that’s more of a lounge. In that lounge, you can have a conversation and a drink, as there’s a bar in that room. For those who enjoy smoking, you can do so because the lounge area has a retractable roof.As for the main room, the sound system is top-tier, especially for a venue this intimate. The lighting is also great. They hit it out of the park with the layout of the venue. You can have a great time in the main room, while also just hanging out in the adjacent room and having a drink with good conversation. All in all, I’d highly recommend it. It’s a venue I’ll certainly frequent often.
An electrifying experience at The Spotlight nightclub in LA! From the moment we stepped in, the sleek and stylish interior captivated us, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. The state-of-the-art sound and lighting system enhanced the atmosphere, immersing us in the music and creating an unparalleled sensory experience. DJ Mahmut Orhans set was mesmerizing, keeping the crowd on their feet all night long. The spacious venue accommodated our group of 12 friends perfectly, allowing us to dance and mingle freely. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a seamless experience from start to finish. Overall, The Spotlight offers not just a night out, but a journey into the heart of LAs vibrant nightlife scene. Cant wait to go back for another unforgettable night!
I went there with my girl for the first time. Initially denied entry by security. But, managed our way inside by the female running the show. We got in (no cover charge). The venue is beautiful and the music was dope. I think the reason why people give it a low is rating is because they were denied entry. I get it. They are curating their clientele.
My friends and I have been to Spotlight a bunch of times lately and always have a blast and positive experience. Its a cool new spot in Hollywood with a cozy vibe, awesome sound system, and a wide variety of electronic music. Perfect for those who love electronic music and want a unique clubbing experience. The manager, Elisa, is a true asset to the establishment. Her warm hospitality, helpful nature, and overall friendliness create a welcoming environment for all patrons. She really makes you feel like a VIP and always makes sure were taken care of. I highly recommend checking out Spotlight and saying hi to Elisa when youre there!
I’ve never in my life have been charged $150 at a door in a wannabe club in Los Angeles. I don’t know who thinks that this is acceptable…but good luck. Security is mad rude. When you stand there speechless hearing that your otherwise “free” ticket worth nothing and instead a normal $40-60 fee and they want you to pay $150 on the top of it they treat you like garbage….I don’t drink alcohol so I don’t care that you can use it for drinks as a credit….ridiculous. #badbusinessPs. Every single person and group left the line who was hit with this fee….
If youre not super confident about how you look, this place might not be for you. I got pretty bad vibes at the door. I dressed exclusively—paid makeup, nails, thousands $ value outfit—but still got a straight-up No from the guy at the door. Meanwhile, girls they thought were cute got in with no problem, even though it was the end of the party. This spot’s got a 2.1-star rating on Yelp, and honestly, it shows. Saw a review saying everyones beautiful here, I guess I am categorized as ugly. My bad. But seriously, they could definitely be nicer to customers.
Signed up for a free concert to see one of our favorite DJs. App said doors didnt open until 10 PM but we heard the artist wasnt going on until about midnight. We arrived around 11 PM, there was little to no line, things were looking good. We go through security to the door person, it was a group of 3 guys and 1 girl. Door person took one look at us and told us we had to buy a table for $1,000 if we wanted to get in. He then said our tickets were only good for 15 minutes after doors opened. Dejected, we walked around the street to another bar, grabbed a drink and decided to go somewhere else. We ended walking pass the door again and there was a group of 7 girls, same tickets as ours and were let in without question. If I wanted to live in Vegas then i wouldve moved there, but very sad experience. We love Sound and were very much looking forward to this spin-off, but were very disappointed with the experience. I hope they either get some new door guys or loosen the heck up going forward. This is Hollywood not Ibiza.I cant even rate the inside because I didnt have the luxury to see it. 1 star for the experience alone.
This space was so cool! I really liked the decor and vibes. Sound system was great and I loved the giant disco ball 😍 There were two bars and it didn’t take long to get drinks at all, and they have fun/tasty signature cocktails. The back area was my favorite. There were lots of couches/chairs to chill on, and the room was really pretty with an open roof. Will definitely be going back!
This place had the potential to be something good but it’s managed by the worst of the worst people. Framework has absolutely no idea what’s actually happening at this place every night. Geo is running this place as his own money profit business. It’s a total front and scam for Geo and his crew to make free untaxed cash. They need to fire him immediately and hire a total new bouncer crew. It’s completely illegal everything that’s going on here and eventually will cost this business.
Even if you get tickets they’ll deny you entry unless you pay for a table if you don’t get there when they open.Incredibly scummy club that’s antithetical to what dance culture is about. Go to Sound instead.
LONG WAIT for a HOMOPHOBIC place!Went to see one of my favorite DJs last night with three friends. RSVPd and waiting in line for 45 min. Everyone in line was in dress code and looked nice. However, some guy walked up and down, blatantly out loud making comments in people clothes like he is the fashion police. Then, he was picking girls, some 22 y/o to go in. THEN, a door guys walks up to us telling us we need to get 1-2 girls or we are not getting in. We are gay, but they did not care! So, in 2024, apparently we have to revisit our past trauma of having to pretend to be straight to get into an event?!After posting on IG about them discriminating us, they like the message and leave me on read after I told them to read the post.
Heard a lot of good things about the place and that they have the best DJ perform there.Wasn’t disappointed at all, had the best time.P.S. amazing stuff and crowd in general
Was there when Mindchatter was performing and omg it was so good. The place is beautiful and we all loved the garden !Drinks were amazing as well. Can’t wait to go back.
