This campground was great. Everybody was very friendly and the owners are amazing. They were so welcoming and fun to be around. We were slightly nervous but that went away very fast after we arrived. Definitely recommend.

We love camping here. This will be our second year coming here. It’s so freeing to be naked in nature! What a clean place and it has a heated pool!

This was one of the best campgrounds we have ever been to, and one of the best cared for. If you are a first timer, you wont find a more welcoming place. The regulars here are amazing, and will get you settled on the rules, and comfortable. The owner and his wife are absolutely top notch, cant thank them enough for the amazing way they run this place.

This is my first visit to a nudist campsite. I have been to a nude beach before so I knew Id be able to get comfortable after some initial nervousness. I arrived on a Sunday at the end of July and am leaving on a Tuesday. Not exactly an ideal time to come if you want to meet like minded people who understand the great values Naturists have with regards to the human body and, well, being naked. The end of the week and weekends get considerably higher amounts of traffic here. This was the only time that worked in my schedule so what was I going to do...The grounds and layout are meticulously taken care of. The owners love this land and it shows. I got to talk to Pat, the owner, for a couple hours. I really enjoyed the story and vision he and his wife had for this place. I admired how they were able to follow through on creating this oasis. They designed this place and it shows. The campsites are well shaded, nicely kept and cozy. They are nestled in the woods along a windy path. Once you set up your tent (in the nude...so awesome), you put your pants back on for a minute and drop your vehicle back into the lot. I like that because it gives a different feel to the sites. The downside for me was not having my phone close by at night charging...which is also a great thing. The campsites dont have fire pits. At first I was not a fan of this situation. After talking to the owner though it makes sense for this property. I camp all over by myself at traditional campsites and enjoy my privacy. I enjoy cooking my food over the fire I built in my iron skillet. After a number of years I have yet to wash it... You can still cook your own food at your campsite youll just have to bring a small gas grill (which is actually a huge time saver :)) This is place is a community. They have a large gas grill and a beautiful community fire pit with a drop down movie screen. The point of this is to be nude, social and comfortable in a safe environment. The pool and pool area is ridiculously serene. Well maintained. Clean water. Clean lounge chairs and tables. Surrounded by Mother Nature and her tall trees. It. Is. Beautiful.Taking an outdoor shower... amazing. Im putting one at my house as soon as I get home. I apologize to my neighbors in advance. Jk... I wont apologize. What is more natural than bathing outside??? Total game changer. The details... too many to name but Ill try: wood carvings, cedar buildings, DJ booth, the office with a river through it, the thousands of stones thoughtfully placed around the property, the lighted paths, the raspberries all over the place, the clean facilities, the owners and how great they are, the jagermister bottle trees, the (well kept and clean) American flags everywhere, the flower pots with flowers that are actually living, the mulched trails, the game yards, etc etc - so nice. Perfect. The grocery store a few miles away is subpar. Thats my only complaint really... I like good organic produce and meats. You can get the necessities but if you can - Plan accordingly.Heres my only other thing about this place... Ive been here essentially by myself for the last two days...1. I should have brought someone... I get it. The nudist life is best shared with friends. This was an impromptu trip and Im really not looking forward to having the conversation with anyone yet about this... except with you of course.2. For a fraction of the total summer campers its hard to fill these places up during the work week I imagine.3. This place is visited by hundreds of people each summer. However, no one wants to review places like this because who wants their coworkers and/or grandma to know they like to walk around with their Willy or lady bits out for all to see. Honestly, Im in that group... for now.4. Try it out... when you are comfortable. Im almost 38, male and straight. Its tough to make that initial mental investment and commit to going. The owners have a clear goal to make this place safe and welcoming.Hope to meet you next time I visit!

When we made phone reservations for this campground the person assisting was very nice at first. However, when we got there we were greeted on the road and asked how old I was. A bit confused by this because their website nor the person I talk to said anything about an age limit. And from that point in, we were treated very rudely. We traveled two hours to get there, after getting a site, we were made to feel very uncomfortable. We spent the entire weekend in our motorhome because we were so uncomfortable with this campground. There were several people just outside our motor home plugging in things to the electricity where we were plugged in.We had ventured down to the pool area once only to be made to feel like a fresh piece of meat. We have never returned nor will we ever return or recommend this campground to anybody having their first experience. However, We have found a clothing optional campground here in Michigan that their sense of community & friendship is unbelievable. We have also met other people here, that also had a negative experience at this campground.Overall, it was an expensive very unsatisfying time.

Spruce Hollow is a gem. The plans they have for the facility will certainly result in SH being one of the best clothing optional campgrounds around. But, dont let this fool you...its a blast to spend time there now. Owners are very welcoming. The area around SH is world class in terms of attractions...so many great things to do and see. Do yourself a favor and plan a trip to SH.

We visited here, and it cost $100 a night. For that we got electric. The pool was nice but if you touched the rails to enter, you would get an electrical shock! There was no dump station, and the only water was a garden hose that was 400 feet long. There was no club house. Paid way too much and got way too little

Best adult only campground for ages 21-55. Heated pool, rustic and powered sites, bathrooms, showers, gazebo with fire pit, modern music and theyre not afraid to turn it up. Best time my wife and I have ever had camping. Clothing is optional so try not to have to much fun.

It was our first time there. It was truly amazing. We picked our campsite. They greeted us so friendly and helpful. The pool was the cleanest pool I’ve ever seen in my life and I’m 35. It is heated to 90* and if you want you can even take a quiet dip after hours by pulling the cover back a bit. The covered fire pit had a ton of comfy chairs and picnic tables around it for lounging. There were grills there with propane for us to use which we did. We picked fresh blackberries on the trails and put them in our pancakes for breakfast. The bathrooms were extremely clean and large. They had many outdoor games for us to play. Horseshoes, bocci ball, cornhole, and volleyball for the pool. We felt so free and welcome. We were able to utilize our herbs for smoking and it was such a treat. The covered fire pit had a DVD player for playing CDs and I went up there alone after everyone retired for bed and had my own little dance party. There’s even a dj booth and a wonderful sound system. This was an amazing experience and we highly recommend this clothing optional campground. We will definitely return and it was honestly one of our favorite vacations my husband and I have ever taken. Thank you so much!!!

Discriminates against single males. When asked to consider changing this policy to be accepting of all, the person in charge of the Spruce Hollow email was very unfriendly. Absolutely awful customer service.
