My first time there.... Went to see my friends in Queensryche play a show..... I had seen it on the TV show, but was floored by what it is now..... It is beyond enormous..... Which is cool, and not cool at the same time...... Its SO BIG that it is too spread out, for me, I guess...... Youd probably need 15-20K people in the concert area to feel full....... Service was pretty lackluster from what we experienced.... I could tell it was a slow night, and a bit chilly, so that may have been a contributing factor to the service part..... The atmosphere was NOTHING like what I was expecting from the old TV show..... Bottom line, Ill give it a 3/5 for now, and hope to return on a busier night/day to reevaluate..... Will definitely give it another go 👍🏿One thing to add, we were not in bikes, and the parking situation was not at all good for us in our gear van ..... Very confusing getting in, not marked well, with no one available directing..... Probably another slow night issue, I guess.
Such an amazing place! Always growing each time we stop! Everything is planned out in great detail. A MUST to stop and visit. To see all the machines and the way you brought it all to life is outstanding. Such a fun atmosphere! This time we brought a friend who hasn’t been here before which was so fun to see him light up when he walked in!
Love the place. Staff is great. A couple things need changed.#1. Add a bank of Portable toilets for women down at the big stage. Add about twice as many portable toilets.#2. Add some lighting at the said toilets.#3. Wash the garbage dumpsters and move them so you don’t gag while watching the concerts.Overall a great place to stay and party.
Off the cuff, I would describe the feel as a combination of a circus spring break, and a music festival. Its definitely worth a visit! It was really hot the day we were there, but there are spots to cool off if needed.Plenty of options for food, drink, and entertainment!!
First time to what I thought was a well organized venue. Bartenders seemed to have no clue what was going on. Asked for alcohol tasting was sent to 3 different bars. Sat at the bar, not busy bartender more interested in serving men10 minutes for a beer.
Always enjoy the full throttle saloonMicheal Ballard is always willing to take time to visit with the customersAlways changing the facility for the betterI visit before during and after the rally every year and am always surprised by the changesThe distillery and merchandise shop is always clean and organizedThe Full Throttle is always my reason to go to sturgis
We LOVE the FTS & cannot wait to return this year & the next & the next for the Sturgis Rally! The place is huge, well-organized, wonderfully outfitted, fun & friendly with tons of food options & entertainment! Cant wait to possibly try out the new Premium Cabins this time around! Regardless, well be there to stay!
Interesting place. Fun/unique atmosphere. Feels like a post-apocalyptic world in mad max way. Downside is its far outside downtown Sturgis and the place is so massive that it feels empty. Its worth seeing.
I really enjoyed the scenery, the artwork, the music, everything was great except one thing the food they allow outside vendors to sell food without a price menu. $40 for too severely undercooked foul tasting hamburgers. Definitely do not recommend to eat the food but everything else is great and it is a worthwhile trip to go there just to see the metal artwork
Bartender wouldnt serve us. She was too busy flirting with the male customers. Fine with us! We walked around and checked out the place, then headed back into town to have dinner and drinks. The place looked great, though!
Didnt eat here, but the drinks were great. Really cool place to hang. Lots of character! Huge gift shop and dont miss the distillery! 3 free samples per person!
This place was amazing!! Staff was all very nice! Brisket was awesome!!! Definitely have to visit the gift store and the distillery. Can’t wait to try the recipes/ drinks. The expresso and banana cream were great together.
Absolutely impressive! Never stopped here before, just randomly saw it on the side of the road we were on. Mid-Tuesday in June, not busy, but the main bar is so impressive with all the motorcycles and machining equipment. Just tons of creative touches everywhere you look. Lots of clothing options and the watermelon moonshine was tempting but I didnt try it.
What Michael Ballard has created on the rolling plains outside of Sturgis is his vision of a steampunk circus. There are so many things to see, to drink, and to listen. One thing that was interesting is what seems to be flexible pricing. One group paid $22 for the exact same drinks we only paid $14 for. 🤔 Very, very interesting, no?FYI had some slices of pizza out by the main stage that were outstanding. 🤘
Very loud. Food was overpriced. We bought tickets in advance (and upgraded) for no reason as they allowed anyone there to attend.
Typical biker bar with good bar service. Food vendors are okay but nothing special. Best thing about this place is people watching or odd pets? Live entertainment
Must experience! So cool...so much to see...Michael Ballard is a great guy! Wish there were more vodka options and DIET CLEAR SODA(hence the lower service rating). Bartenders were great.
I know its rally week but $20 for a corn dog is excessive. 3 t shirts for $80. Cool bar and great atmosphere but prices are out of control.
Excellent atmosphere, beautiful place, not for children. Enjoyed it so much forgot to get photos, if ur into steam punk you gotta visit this place.
We went to see Jackyl at Full Throttle Thursday night during the 2023 rally and all I can say is wow! This place is HUGE and has so much to look at. We spent quite a bit of time exploring before enjoying the concert! In addition to the main stage, they have several other sections with bars and live music too! Also, motorcycle stunts like the wheel of death happen throughout the day! Its definitely a must stop!
Bobby was our bar tender - great guy, we sampled a few drinks we had not tried before. So much cool stuff to look at - definitely worth going out of your way for.
We didn’t stay at FT but we did stop in here for a day. The we tried to find a shirt to bring home for our daughter and we finally did but there weren’t many options. Finding a spot to sit and rest is nearly impossible no chance getting more than one spot at the bar. We loved the art they had everywhere. Cool place overall I recommend everyone go see this slice of history.
Fun local bar. Great place for drinks, live music and hang out place. Large selection of shirts/clothing and other souvenirs
This is a must see when you are at the Sturgis MC Rally. There are many choices for food. We had the steak tips and they were good. The beer was cold and you had a very large selection. I had a Sierra Nevada Brewing Company Pale Ale which was excellent. Full Throttle Saloon offers a 24 oz heavy glass beer mug at a great price and you keep the mug. There are several bars outside. They have live music, check out the website for a schedule. The gift shop offers many great items.
Always Heard of this incredible place,. through the lore of Bikers, travellers and I guess now....Even reality TV...But to experience this place, and its awesomeness, words can hardly describe it...I wasnt sure if I was walking through a Beyond ThunderDome movie set, or a museum of industrial art Throughout the last half century....Its a cathedral of metal and hard work...I can only imagine this place during Biker Week in Sturgis... Truly impressive, and the draft beers!!!...Enjoyed a fast beer buzz,.with a great Boulevard brewery wheat beer, and a Raspberry something or other...Nice bartender and a very nice woman in the gift store.... Good place to watch it rain the other day...I hope I can come back here one day.
Can you please, for the love of God, not have the inside music compete with the outside music. It is truly intorable. I like hanging out here but it is mass chaos in the ear hole.
For the last 11 years every time I am in the area I stop by Full Throttle Saloon. Have always had a great time.it is very entertaining with lots to do and see. I have also rented cabins twice from their campground (Pappy Hoel Campground) behind the FTS. The owners Mike, Jesse, and Angie are very busy so it may be hard to run into them. However if you do, they are very friendly and personable. Have also met and talked with many of the personalities from the show FTS while visiting the business FTS. All of them have also been great. Im looking forward the next time I can go to the FTS.
This place is massive, they have all kinds of crazy statues and art pieces. It seems a bit unhinged but in a good way. Decently busy spot, we didn’t go during any motorcycle rallies so we didn’t get the full experience but I’m sure that place gets wild.
Drinks were amazing. Deed in the retail shop was a huge help and great with our pup, Nova. Can’t wait to come back again in the future.
Didnt eat anything. This was a bucket list stop! The staff was 100% amazing. The place is the coolest to walk around and look at. Oh! Get a shot or 10 of the Apple Pie Moonshine
This used to be an awesome place really went down hill. Still a fun place to people watch if I was staying downtown not quite sure I would make the ride.Michael Ballard awesome guy always says hello super friendly a legend among legends Once youve met him youll feel like youre part of the family. Perhaps Im just partial to their old location 😔I
Didnt eat there. A great time. Sturgis Rally hang out spotBallard is always adding on
A one of a kind atmosphere! you can tell so much thought and. creativity have been poured into this place! with so many new updates and additions every year, I cant wait to keep going back!
Absolutely incredible. The story of the wall dedicated to the first location that burned down was wild. The cage with the rider was one of the coolest things Ive seen. Lots of beautiful art to look at, and fast / friendly service. Pool is incredible and so needed on a hot day. Did not get to explore here as much as I wanted and will be back next year.
Ok so if you have never been here or have not been to the new location this place is amazing. Now we were there for a business trip so this is not during the rally so no one was there. But we were lucky enough that the owner had one of his guys there to talk with us and show us around. His name was Barney and if you ever go there you have to meet him. Just a good salt of the earth person. He basically gave us a private tour of the whole property and afterwards we went into the bar area and met another lovely lady named Kim . This place is a must stop just to view everything they have there. We looked forward to getting back there for the bike week
We just stopped in to take care of our thirsties and check the place out. Perfect. And it is HUGE! Plenty of room for fun, lots to look at.
Great concert venue. Nice bars and food vendors. On-site cigar humidor is a plus.
No food available outside of Bike Week. Bar server was kind enough to show us everything! Have to admit I was not aware of this landmark, and really glad I was able to see it while in SD.
Great place to have a good time. Enjoyed the bands during Rally week.My son and I have been there for the last 3 years and I even got a FTS skull tattoo. I was excited to see ZZ Top playing on inside stage unannounced but was disappointed that they didnt have photographer taking your picture riding in because I was looking forward to it Still worth the stop though!
DO NOT SIT IN THE HANGER OUTSIDE NEAR THE CAGE. The inside is great. The outside near the stage is fine. But if you set near the cage, you have to put up with competing music blasting you from both sides, and its not the same music. TURN OFF THE OUTSIDE MUSIC, you already have a band playing. Or hook up the sound system to the stage. Its obnoxious.Other than being acoustically accosted by dooling sound systems at full blast to make your ears bleed and your brain rattle, the serving staff is awesome. The girls are hot and enjoy putting smiles on faces. The cage is fun to watch the rider traverse, especially when he goes completely upside down in the ball. Its a fun environment. As for food is... ok. Its not great, but its ok.
Probably my most favorite place to party in sturgis. The whole vibe and atmosphere here exactly what I expect when I come to sturgis. The pretty ladys bartending to the motorcycle and machinery around. The concerts are fun and affordable. The distillery is a have to see and taste test and purchase moonshine.
Its a very cool spot theres alot to see the machinery is everywhere Im a nerd cause I use them at work lots of cool art and motorcycle stuff. Awesome staff theres moonshine distillery next door. They were doing alot of construction when we stopped in getting ready for August. It should be nuts by then.
We had a great time here. Friendly staff and the booked entertainment was great. If ever in Sturgis especially for the rally FTS is a must. The whole place is decked out with bikes, old cars, trucks and industrial equipment. If you are a liberal snow flake get ready to be offended because the owner and this place is pure American patriotism.
I cant say enough about the customer service! Kimm was amazing today, helping me over the phone, find a shirt that my husband lost, and was rather attached to.I appreciate the time you spent making sure we found the correct one.
The staff was amazing. Showed me around and I even got to try some samples. I highly recommend coming here, but book early before it get crazy busy!
WOW is all I can say! We loved how they incorporated all the industrial equipment into the decor. So awesome how they repurposed so much old stuff. Definitely a place to stop and have a beer and explore. So many old Harleys on display, tou could spend hours there and find something new at each turn. Nice staff and very clean which is always a plus. One more thing checked off our bucket list.
Hadnt been to FTS since before the fire, so happy to see theyve rebuilt and have LOTS of property now. Little further out of town and some roads are dirt/gravel when coming from the east, but coming from Sturgis its all paved. Well worth it!! Most awesome place!Only thing I didnt care for was the ladies restroom. It was done in sewing machines. I get that the whole place is machines but really? I cant believe they did it that way.
Awesome place with good people! Its a must see. Kimm (with two ms) in the moonshine distillery is a blast! Highly recommend the butterscotch moonshine.
Love the awesome decor. The Distillery tasing was amazing. Such a great product! Very smooth and tasty!
Full Throttle has so much to offer, seen Moonshine Bandits there, ate good food, went to the bike show, looked around has alot of cool things..
Epic and unforgettable!!! I recommend adding this spot to your list if your heading to Stugis. This is an experience, not just a bar! You walk inside and its so much more than you can imagine. Youll find multiple bars, a distillery, food, shopping, music, and ambience. Rescued bikes from the original location will tug on your heart a little♥️. I cant wait to visit again next year!!!
Awesome place. We went after Sturgis and the place was very quiet. It was really nice to be able to walk around and see the place empty and take it all in. The waitress was extremely friendly. They were also smoking a brisket outside. They are open all year. If you are planning a trip you can call the number on google maps and he will call you back. That assures someone will be there to let you in. They also have a separate shop that offers local liquor which makes great gifts. We will be back.
New location is nice maybe not as soulful as the old location really kind of miss some of the sections hopefully in years to come it will become larger and as grand as the old Full Throttle was. We visited on our multiple state motorcycle road trip and the staff was amazing and helpful as well as very knowledgeable. Thanks for the great memories.
Been awhile since Ive been in the bar side. Jenna was awesome. Delicious food and onion rings!
This bar is AWESOME! Definitely a bucket list item and will be back! So many things to see, watch and drink!
Miller! Moonshine tastings are the greatest stop if you want to enjoy Estes Park with southern hospitality and native colorado brews and fun! Miller is a your employee/friend
Enjoyed The Count and The 77 club band. Got my T-shirt. Bucket list √
Itd be nice if there were more seating like picnic tables and benches. Not everyone can bring chairs when travel 900 miles on a bike.
I have driven by so many times yet had failed to stop until now. Such an amazing, eye catching location. Every inch of this property is covered with interesting sculptures, old machinery, motorcycles and metal art. Cold beer served here! Summer time has got to be a blast with the open stage just located steps outside the back door. This is a must do bucket list stop!
It exactly as you might expect. Tons of fun and super expensive. Ill be back after I drain my 401K.
Well...I would never tent camp again but I would rent or get a trailer. Best Party place ever...I stayed there 14 days....people there made me feel welcomed...the employees were just like Family...the restrooms were always attended ...super clean...and Security was so on top if things...will I go back. Yes! With a new friend lol... I rented a golf cart and put Xmas lights on it and that worked perfect. If I could recommend something it would be a waitress at the POOL (I have a great tan) I would have partied alot more if waitress was there ..I wore pasties daily...😜 ..totally recommended...a little dusty but great showers...
Happy to see this place has recovered from the fire a few years ago at the old location. Absolutely love the view from inside the covered bar in the middle of the saloon!Had to bring a friend so he could check out all the old stuff. Then we had to go back another day because he forgot his camera ha ha! Looks like they brought a lot of it from the old location and restored it here and I noticed everything’s made of concrete and steel, including all the bars, I guess they’re not going to risk fire destroying everything again!Bathrooms were clean, although I never did find one in the main building that had a door that locked lol.A little disappointed that they’re the highest priced for apparel anywhere in the area we stopped in the last 10 days, and it certainly wasn’t top quality, although great graphics on the shirts.Great atmosphere, beautiful women working scantily clad and I say that as a woman myself. The ladies working here have some class and they’re all very helpful with information if you have questions. It’s just disgusting watching some of the men and how they treat these women.Food vendors, pretty good. I really liked the one right inside the outside covered bar. It was run by some people from one of the nearby reservations I believe, sorry, I can’t remember the name but excellent food excellent lemonade! They have a huge huge parking lot and it always appears full but if you look hard, you’ll find a spot. We were on bikes I honestly don’t remember seeing any vehicles at all and the parking lot was full all three days that we were there starts to clean out around seven or so and then you got a new crowd coming in for the evening entertainment. Speaking of entertainment. They have some pretty great rock ‘n’ roll bands in the first part of the bar and then in the covered outdoor bar it was music being played mostly country from what I can tell and then there was the concert bowl we never stayed for that so I can’t comment. All I can say is if you’re in the area you got a stop in here just to have a look around. It’s a pretty great experience, whether you’re a biker or not!
We were only here a short time. Great bar area, amazing things to see inside as well as outside
We had to come out to FTS during our week at Sturgis Mustang Rally because of the TV show on Quest TV. Walked around, took pictures, and bought our shirts, whiskey, and sippin cream. As we were heading back to the car, we met Michael and took pictures. We were thrilled to meet him, very polite, nicest guy. Well definitely be back.
Was one of the destinations for our family trip, Full Throttle did not disappoint. The bar is amazing. Staff was friendly.
Fun place to visit definitely not for everyone but we had fun 😉
Love the shot girls. I didnt know I was going to get slapped, but once I did, I needed anothet.
We love coming to Full Throttle Saloon. So much to see. We love the relaxed atmosphere. Great stop!!
Awesome new building. Further out since the fire but venue is worth the drive.
Cool place to visit....food average however the surroundings and atmosphere were buzzing ♥️
This place is amazing the staff were friendly. Cant wait to come back
Place is awesome. Great friendly staff and the atmosphere is unique and amazing!
Great visit, first time to the rebuild business. Very industrial atmosphere, friendly staff.
Spacious Bar with 2 full stages! Live music going all the time. Theres an incredible amount of American History in the machinery, automobiles & motorcycles inside & out! Theres a large Cigar Cellar, Moonshine Distillery & a Tattoo Shop onsite.Excellent food options, but extremely expensive!Lots of very friendly staff!
Didnt go until after the rally was over, so a lot of it was closed but still well worth the drive to go see it. I would do it again.
Everyone was friendly and fun, neat place! Cant wait to go back
Incredibly gorgeous bartenders. Kelsey (maybe I spelled it right) is amazing.
Great place to eat and have a good time.
Absolutely amazing place with the kindest people around you. Such an amazing experience
Had a couple drinks and checked out the decor. Neat visit!
I am certain this is an amazing (chaotic) place to be during the Sturgis Rally and the music is loud and the alcohol is flowing. It was very quiet when we visited, but we enjoyed getting to see it in person. Cant imagine the effort and financial commitment it took to re-build after the fire. Rises out of the prairie like a community all its own. We were a little shocked it is so far out of town!
The full throttle saloon was a Awesome place stuff was very friendly was a very awesome Experience cant wait to come back!
We stopped non bike week and were please to find out they were open! If the gates open were open was the sign at the entrance.Kim was running bar and could not have been nicer. She offered for us to try one of her speciality drinks Mechanics Special named after her father who was a mechanic by trade. We were not disappointed and a must try.We also tried an assortment of other local craft beer, bought some merch, admired the decor and socialized. What a great way to get to know people and the local area!Well be back!
We just stop to check it out and buy some moonshine from there Michael, the owner welcome us with open arms. Got to check it out we didnt eat
Great place! Grab some tshirts and a beer and people watch.
My favorite place at sturgis, it is a must visit at least during the rally
Great place awesome customer service and friendly staff. A must check out.
If your nearby and youve never been here. Stop by. The service is excellent.
You won’t believe how cool it is unless you see if for yourself!! I love Fts and every year there’s always something new and more to see at the Full Throttle Saloon
Its getting better. Too big of a place for the crowd.
This place is amazing! Great bartenders, food, shopping and entertainment!!
Had the best time and met an amazing bartender there named Morgan.
We all know what this place is about! Never disappoints!!
Great costume service, fun, safe and great atmosphere.
Great place. Just wish they would do more with the web site, more updates, sooner concert announcement would be nice. and everyone else is starting to put black top down around theyre camp ground just saying.
We had the pleasure of meeting Michael today and he was so friendly and personable. Real down to Earth kind of guy! The bartender was very sweet as well. The new full throttle saloon is huge and extremely cool. If your ever in the area please stop in. Kids and animals are welcome as well. Plenty to see and buy.
Wont stay anywhere else during the rally. Best prices. Best atmosphere. Always something fun and entertaining going on. Lots of options. Friendly staff always willing to go the extra mile to help you! FTS LOYAL!!!
Great place to spend some time. People are very welcoming.
First time visiting from Chicago area. Very impressed and in awe of how much to see at Full Throttle.
I love watching this series on TV! I hope to visit one day...and then Mt Rushmore 😉
I did not eat there, but this is a must visit its very cool inside and out.
2024 experience was much better.4-years Ago - Pitiful resemblance to the old FTS, as Michael Ballard has moved on and could care less for his signature creation.Warm beer, dissatisfied employees, sad bands are a joke.
Cool place to see shows and great ambiance
