Update: Shop Called back and apologized for inconvenience and oversight. They have a great selection and this stuff happens. Everyone is human and makes mistakes, they offered to replaced the juices and made this right. Give the shop a shot, I certainly will be giving them another chance.CAREFUL WITH THIS SHOP!I went into this shop with HIGH hopes as I saw an old style vape bar with plenty of juices on the wall… I thought It was a diamond in the rough I discovered …..that was at least until I got home. This is when I discovered one juice (The Blueberry JamMonster) had a born on date of 10/08/2020 and I bought this on 12/30/2023. These juices are have a two year shelf life before they are no longer safe to use. So the blueberry JamMonster Born On 10/08/2020 would expire 10/08/2022. That makes this juice 1 year and 45 days past its expiration. I contacted monster vape labs to confirm this and wrote the owner of the shop to see if he would make this right. Mistakes happen, we’re human so I was hoping to hear from him as most owners would be outraged they sold a customer expired juices and used batteries. As each day passes, for the shop to ignore my voicemail and email informing him that:•the $100 I spent for batteries and two vape juices one expired more than a year and the other born March 2022 -expiring on March 2024…I’d hope the owner would have called to make this right….still no response.Hopefully I can update this review to a positive experience if I hear back but that seems doubtful at this point.Oh also as I was getting rung out, he said that he “charges all the batteries for his customers because what are you going to sell not charged batteries?” Which at the time I didn’t think anything of but …after the expired juices, and one battery box tab being torn off, I’d bet he’s using the batteries personally and then swapping out the new ones with the ones he uses when shipments arrive. Overall sad and won’t be back unless this is made right.

The smallest salt nic selection youll ever see. No music, very silent like a library. This place is great for mods and e-liquids but not good for pods or salt nics.

This place is great, one of the few remaining small businesses that we can all support. Al the owner is fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable, really nice guy. They have a large selection of juices, thanks, batteries, and the prices are the best youll find in a store. Ive been to a bunch of vape shops from Seattle to NYC and these guys impressed me the most.

I went here for my first real set up after trying gas station e cigs. I was impressed. The place is highly organized. The owner knows what he is talking about and has everything you need. I stated what I wanted out of a device and he steered me right to the product that works for me. He got me set up and on my way. I couldnt be happier with my purchase.The tasting bar is awesome. Tons of choices and you can try them all out. He has them set up in a restaurant type menu. Nice touch.Even the people that frequent here appear to be friendly and down to earth.

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and courteous staff. Great selection of vaping equipment, liquids, and although Im not into it, what appears to be a good selection of cigars. The thing that really stuck with me about the owner, Al, is that the first time I stopped in, around 2015, instead of selling me a setup, he took the time to find out what I was looking for and helped me pick out the at that time best setup for me. That setup has changed a little over the last several years, but its never been something that doesnt suit me. Unfortunately but understandably, theyve had to suspend their sampling bar and reduce their business hours due to Covid-19 guidelines, but hopefully soon theyre able to resume and get back to their normal hours and days of operation once things settle down. Also, a nice little touch that you dont see too often anymore, they take the time to get to know their customers and what we like, and if they start selling a new liquid that they think you might like, they let you know about it, when they could just sell you what you went in for. In the past five or so years that Ive been going there, I havent had one single experience below top notch, never a bad batch of liquid, never a defective product, and possibly most importantly, never a bad recommendation or advice about one of their products.

Excellent and friendly environment. They have a variety of juices and mods available to suit most needs. I have been going here for years and will continue to do so due to consistency. I mainly vape, but they have a variety of cigars available. Ive never had the chance to appreciate a good cigar but Ill be sure to grab one from these guys

Ive been vaping for eight years and never knew this place was here until a friend told me about it. What a great store! I needed some new hardware, and they didnt have exactly what I wanted: they had a MUCH better one. The owners/employees were very helpful and friendly. The quality of their products is very high; I have had NO problems with leakage or anything else. Dont know anything about their cigars ( I dont smoke them), or their eliquids ( I DIY my own). They are also handicapped accessible.

I come here a lot to replenish my husbands vape juice and coils. The owner and his employee are awesome. They know their stuff and are always super helpful and knowledgeable. We love this place!

Ive been coming here for 3 years. Al and Zach have been nothing but helpful, and really gave me all of the tools I needed to quit smoking, after being a 2 pack a day smoker for 15 years. Excellent selection of juices and devices, and by far the best customer service Ive encountered at a vape shop anywhere.

Best people. They are always helpful, make great suggestions and its such a chill place. I feel like family when I come in. Id never go anywhere else for any of my vape needs. Great prices and selection of both juice and mods.

So glad I stopped in here! Ive been to many many vape stores across CT as I travel all over the state for work and this place is right next to my home. Fantastic juice selection, great mods and tank selection, all the accessories you could want (and in stock!!!), all the tasting you can handle and the most down to earth, friendly, honest and knowledgeable owner you could imagine! I didnt even mention the comprehensive cigar selection. Go. I guarantee you will be delighted.Update: A year later and I will not go anywhere else. Pure class act. Thank you for providing the best Vape shop experience anywhere! The only bad part is that my expectations are so high for Vape shops now and nothing else will do.

I went in there about a month ago knowing nothing about the products and the only knowledge being what I wanted out of the experience. Paul helped me first and was great at explaining how everything worked and what would best suit my needs. Ive been back there roughly 2 times per week to buy various products and have MANY questions answered with no attitude or pushy salesmanship from either Al or Paul. I hang out for a while, try different liquids and talk with the guys. Great, relaxing atmosphere and I have no interest in going anywhere else. I saw a bad review on here and I gotta say, any trouble I have had with the Kangertech subox has been my own doing. AL and Paul have helped me and educated me just fine. Their attitude is nothing but extremely pleasant and even more helpful. If theyre telling you what to do or not to do, you have to listen. Ive since bought several products there and after following the instructions have always served me well. If anybody gets an attitude from those two guys or any customer that may be there at the time, then Im sure its well deserved. Some people go through life complaining and refusing to listen to advice given by others with more knowledge and thats only hurting themselves. I watched a woman come in today and wanted to exchange something and they did it with no problem and were happy to do so. I will continue to shop, hang out and talk to the friendly staff and customers (I was there for two and a half hours today!) at this store only because it has everything I need for a great experience. This place is hands down the best Vape store in the area. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. If you’re a vapor connoisseur or you’re just doing research , these are the guys to talk to. If you’re into the cigars too the selection is second to none in the area. Stop in today.

Great place. Just simply great in every way. HUGE selection of vape juices and cigars. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. Example,- today I mentioned the batteries for my vape were a little worse for wear and was going to buy more, but they told me they can just rewrap them! The shop has very nice displays and sampling bar... I dont know what else to say. Again, great place overall!

Puffin is one of the best shops around. The owner Al is a real down to earth guy. He really provides great one on one service to help you decide what is best for you.Contrary to the negative review, I have had a subox mini for a few months, it never leaks. Ever. This is one of the reasons I bought one. I have heard of tightening the tank too much and it indents the silicon seal but that would be the users fault.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I explained what I wanted and they set me up perfectly. They did not try and oversell me a unit that was more expensive than I needed. Added bonus is you get to try the vape juice before you purchase! Lots to choose from and pricing seems to be about average after searching around. They have everything from begginer to pro in here. I will be stopping in here for years to come.

Maybe the best vape store in central CT. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection of juices and hardware with prices that are quite good for a brick and mortar retail store. Best of all they have a tasting bar which takes the guessing out of picking a new juice or flavor. Obviously the juice will taste a little different out of your own mod or device but it gives you a good read on the flavor profile. Just a great place for vapers to buy supplies. I would have gone 5 stars but they arent strictly vape they do sell cigars also which I understand is probably a big part of their business but my cup of tea. Will definitely make them my go to shop.

Gotta say, this is really a nice little shop. Its exactly what the area needed. We have a couple other places that sell ejuice but are also selling tabbaco devices. So having a shop move into the neighborhood with a great staff has been a blessing. I cant say enough good things about the owner Al. I find myself going to the shop just to sit around and talk with him during their not so busy hours, or before they close for the night. Great customer service! Ive seen the owner help customers that walk in and want to quit smoking. He helps each person ad an individual and finds out exactly whats going to work for them and tailors a kit and juice depending on their needs. I purchased my first vape today to quit smoking. I was impressed by the large variety of e liquids, the vape bar, that you sit at, with a very clever ‘menu’ of flavors, and can try them all!!! The shop is so nice and organized. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and Al helped me through the whole process and took time to teach me how to work my new vape. I’m very happy I decided to finally go to Puffin Vapor & leaf. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who Vapes, smokes cigars, or like me, finally decided to kick the nasty habit of smoking. You will not be disappointed!

They only carry the best e-juices so whatever you choose will be quality. All the flavors are there for you to try at the e-juice bar. Beautiful humidor filled with cigars. The staff is not only knowledgeable but super helpful. If your having any kind of issues vaping see them. The owner, Al is one of the coolest guys Ive ever met.Still the most comfortable vape shop I have ever been to. The customers can sit down and try every one of the e-juices out of separate Vapes that are consistently filled and the coils are always fresh. You sit down and its like a bar but so much better. A menu is there with each and every flavor described and marked where to find it easily. I sometimes go there not needing anything but the atmosphere is so comforting I am able to try kinds zi would never have known I like. The premium vape shop in the area with competitive prices. Very helpful staff!! He was really patient and he took the time to give me exactly which coil needed...he even took the time to look up comparable coils instead of just trying to sell me a new tank. I will go back to this establishment every time I need something now

Al and Paul are the best guys ever. For the person who said that they got attitude, I find that very hard to believe. Al had replaced defective products I have bought and even given me a backup in the meantime while he figured out the problem. I will never go to another shop. Al has stayed open a bit later for me to get there in time and always goes above and beyond. A+++++ customer service.

I LOVE this place! Ive visited several vapor stores and so far Puffin is my favorite. They have a wide selection of juice in several different MGs to choose from, for $.50 you can even try as many of the flavors you want, and that money goes to advocating for our rights to vape. They also have several devices for sale and will hook you up with the right one. All the staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly, especially the owner Al. Puffin also has a large enclosed air controlled room with a huge variety of cigars for sale. Puffin is simply the best!

Absolutely love this place. Were new to vaping and this store has like a bar with menus and you can try all the different oils to find put what you like before you buy them. Very helpful!! I bought a butterscotch caramel. Omg its great!

I have known Al all my life so I was thrilled when I heard he opened up a vape shop less then 10 minutes from my house. Even though I have been vaping for over a year I still consider myself a newb. Al has been helpful with every question asked. I was in last night to use my birthday gift cards (such a great gift!) and there were a few customers vaping and chatting away. Every time I am in people seem to enjoy hanging out talking to him. There is a wide variety of juice and you can try them all if you like. The prices are really great too!

Top notch service and selection! My wife and I are from out of state. Her Mod took dooky and they helped out with everything we needed. I also need batteries and juice for both of us. Great selection of juice and sampling mods for the juice. Great place. Will definatly be back next time we are back out east. Probably the best vape shop we have found yet. We travel all over the country.

Ive been going to this shop pretty much since I started vaping. I dont think Ive ever seen better customer service than what these guys offer. They take their time to help the customer get exactly what they are looking for. There has never been a time that I have walked out of this shop that I didnt learn something new about vaping, as the people here are extensively knowledgeable in the matter. Definitely going to keep coming back here.

Have been coming here for almost a year. What i have noticed the most is the consistent supply and verities of juice always in stock. Friendly staff and definitely dont try to upsell you way out of what you want to buy. Would recommend to anyone!!! 😤

Was looking to replace my clearomizer and saw Puffin right next to the Post Office. What a welcoming place! I was treated kindly - and I honestly wish I was not on my lunch break and rushed! I plan on revisiting soon to try (and buy) some of their e-juice.

I am a frequent patron at puffin vapor, I stop by today only to be told by Al the owner that I was no longer welcomed there. He has sold me four defective products in which I promptly returned. He gave me other reasons for not being able to shop there. The real reason being he did not what replace or refund my money. Its just a matter of time before it happens to you.

I have been going to Puffin for the past month. Initially, I was treated well as a customer who has spent roughly $350 at this establishment. I was sold a piece that leaked non-stop (Kanger Tech Sub-box Mini). Upon purchasing the product I wasnt told that the vaporizer needed to be upright at all times. This is impossible if you plan to take your vape anywhere (pocket, or purse for you ladies). Of the two vaporizers that I purchased from this place, the $85 one leaked for 3 straight weeks (out of all of them, which are stored on their sides). After week two the owner, unwillingly replaced the seals on the tank, giving me a huge attitude in the process. After another week of the unit leaking out plenty of money worth in e-liquid, I took it back to the owner at Puffin to finally return it.The Owner was unprofessional to say the least giving me an attitude, and even blamed me for the leaking product he sold me. He stated that it leaked because the tank was stored on its side. He also stated that myself and my brother are the only ones who had a problem with the tank (my brothers was completed replaced by the owner [same unit]) . I purchased one of Puffins cases which like an eye glass case, holds all your vape accessories (you guessed it on their side). If you ask me, that is a clear design flaw, and a dysfunctional product (the unit and case). This does not fall on the customers shoulders nor was the attitude warranted.On top of that, the owner was extremely disrespectful towards me (a returning customer none the less).I highly recommend you find another establishment to spend your hard earned money at. God forbid you are sold a defective product like myself and my brother. I will no longer be returning back to this place, and I suggest that you shouldnt either!

Great vape and cigar shop. Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly I even know them by name the owner Al is great knows so much about getting you started if you’re thinking about vaping and the younger lad Zack is just as good both are super nice and professional will help you with whatever you need.

Very friendly service, and a huge variety of replacement parts. They have helped me out of a bind more than once. Also a great selection of juice. They also have a smoking lounge/bar with a TV and sitting area.

The first time I went to puffin I just got out of a long 10 hour shift I bought some juice and a water because I was thirst. Then one of the people said if your still thirst grab yourself another water without any charge. My second visit was awesome grabbed three 30ml bottles of juice for $50 I was satisfied Im definetly going back

Really nice shop with a sample juice bar which is cool, you can get an idea of the flavor profile before you buy it, great selection of accessories, mods, tanks and juice, the reason for 3 stars is the prices are very steep, you can purchase the same juice and for half the price in other local brick and mortar shops and online, the mods and tanks are also a little steep too, not trying to knock the shop, its very clean and organized, probably the nicest one Ive been In and they carry alot of great juices and top notch products but the prices could be better, whats gonna happen when the VAPE TAXES go up? I cant see paying over 30.00 for a 60 ml bottle and probably wont, Ill order online as will most people when the vape taxes eventually kick in, I would hate to see local vape shops go out of business for steep prices and I would rather support my local brick and mortar shops but its too expensive and will get even more expensive.
