The food here is delicious! Seated right away and served right away. Outside patio leaves a little bit to be desired decor wise but very chill and comfortable vibes.

One of the best restaurants in our area! The chicken is fantastic every time and the humus is incredible. Worth it for a date night or to treat yourself and your family. Thank you for bringing great food to Bergen County Cedars!

I have been there quite a few times now. The food is prepared well. The portions are pretty big. It is also a great place to go because on certain night they have live music and belly dancing entertainment. It has a great vibe and the service is awesome. The dj played a little bit of everything but we really enjoyed the Lebanese and turkish music.

First time to try this place, ordered several appetizers to try but all were not with quality.. then ordered mixed grill as my main course but the meat was bloody and not spiced at all.Hookah was very limited in choices, you can’t mix your own flavors, which is a huge downside in any hookah lounge.The only thing that acutely tipped my mood that night was dessert, “Othmanllia” very tasty and great choice with a cup of mint black tea. Anyways, the whole night had cost me more than $300 for two persons with no fun at all except for dessert.

***ITS HALAL***Great place for family but keep in mind they do serve hookah and have live music at times, so if you are going to being young children just beware.However i had a great experience with service and the food serving size.They weren’t over loaded with food. I had the chicken dish with the rice. Great hot served food. Hummus and peta was on point.Their salad is exceptional ..I had 4 LEMONADEs!!!!Great food great area and clean place.

Came here with my family for the 1st time. My family never had Lebanese food and loved all of it. Mona our waitress was so friendly and courteous. Shared the mixed grill which had perfectly grilled meat. The calamari appetizer was well cooked and crispy.Will come back again and have a hookah and appetizers.BTW the mint lemonade is very addictive.

One of my clients wanted to get food from this location. The order was called in and I added on the chicken shish kabaob sandwich. When I arrived I walked in and waited a bit for the lady to come ring me up. When she did I paid and left. When I ate the sandwich was ok. I wasnt feeling some of the ingredients inside and picked them out. All in all I had an ok experience.

Love this piece for their amazing hookahs and extraordinary food. Friday nights are fun as they have a DJ and live performance. Don’t miss their hummus as it’s authentic and freshly made along with spicy potatoes.

So I came here based on someone telling me this place would rival Al Basha which happens to be my go to in jersey and this turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Love the fact that they have valet parking which to me parking should be the last thing I worry about in jersey which Al basha lacks big time…. Also you can have shisha here and yet again Al basha lacks that as well. The hummus is good but I’ll give that one to Al basha… the mixed grill was tasty and so was the chicken shawarma and sujok and love the olive and Arabic styled setting to begin the dining experience….service was fast and they were quite attentive, priced fair for the portion you get. All in all I’ll be coming back again for this food. They have indoor and outdoor dining which is yet another bonus. Give them a try

Ordered a chicken with fries entree for to-go during late lunch, $26. Why? Chicken was tough to chew,not seasoned well, and the fries were extremely oily. You cant charge fine dining prices without the fine and dining part. This is another greedy establishment which only rips off customers over basic items trying to pretend like fine dining. You bring disgrace to true Lebanese cuisine

OBSESSED! I LOVE this food. Its one of my favorite places to eat out! Great atmosphere, reasonably priced hookahs, huge pots of mint tea, and REAL chicken. The food is seasoned and prepared SO well, I guarantee after you try it youll rate them 5 stars too! As far as the service, I would like to personally give my server 5 stars, I cant remember his name but I promise to re-review this post next time I go back. .somehow i always receive the same kid, and hes the real MVP, always gives A1 service. Highly recommend this mediterranean restaurant for any occasion - dinner with family, hookah with friends, or football sunday with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Indoor AND outdoor seating available. Great food, moderate prices, good service. I have been here multiple times for various occasions and they have always either met or exceeded my expectations. They make a big deal out of birthdays which is nice and they have live entertainment on weekends. It doubles as a hookah lounge as well. Outdoor seating is available in the warmer months. Will continue to go back!

Food is not good enough for the price. I ordered filet mignon medium and they gave me a dry well done. Hummus plate was fine. We only enjoyed the mint lemonade

Cedars Lebanese Cuisine is an amazing Lebanese restaurant that we have been going to for many years. The owner and his wife would personally attend to the guests and make sure that your dining experience was impeccable. You are greeted with green Lebanese olives with Lebanese bread. The Fattouch salad was made from fresh ingredients, the hummus is absolutely world renowned with extra virgin olive oil, the hot crispy zaatar chips were delicious with the hummus, the hot Maqaneq (s) were sauteed with oil, lemon and aromatic spices, the hot soujouk dish was loaded with sautéed tomatoes, the falafel were hot, crunchy and out of this world, the lamp chops were the best we have ever had, the mix grill dish was so delicious and all 4 of us could not stop eating. We should not ignore the French fries, that were hot, crispy and home made. This restaurant serves a hot pot of Turkish coffee with succulent Knefeh that gets baked upon demand. If you desire true Lebanese food that would resemble to a True Lebanese restaurant experience, try Cedars Lebanese Cuisine in Wallington New Jersey.

Very laid back on a Thursday. We did not feel rushed like most places. Its BYOB but hookahs are constantly cleaned and changed. The food is A++ staff is very friendly.

We ordered to go. Nice vibe, and atmosphere. Employees are friendly and welcoming. We had the Spinach pie, falafel, aryes cheese , and mixed grilled. The arayes were very good, tasty and delicious. I haven’t had that enjoyable arayes for long time.

Make sure you walk in here looking like a million bucks, even if you don’t have it. We were sat in the corner because we didn’t come in with the flashiest clothes. When the corner spot smelled, I requested to be moved and I was just ignored. It was sad but there are plenty of other places around which I will be going to instead moving forward.The food was good though; but I can’t go to a place where I don’t feel welcomed.

I am VERY disappointment in this place. When my friends and I got there, we were told that there was a $40 min PER PERSON; meaning we needed to order a ton of stuff to make each of our totals $40. We found out that they are telling the other groups different things. one couple told us that the owner informed them the min was $30. Another table said they didnt tell them anything like that. In the end, we did not order enough and the server did not bring it up that we needed to order more. They just wanted us to give them more money. On their website, there was NOTHING about the minimum, only that they hoped we limited our time to 2 hours. The service was terrible. It look over 20 mins just to get a cup of ice for the wine we brought. The picture below shows that I ordered a casear salad with shrimp because they had a casear salad on the menu. They gave my friend and me shrimp with a side salad but my other friend got an appropriate size salad. they did not inform us about the size when we ordered. I refuse to go back in.

Food was well presented and tasted great and fresh. Crunchy falafel, smooth appetizers. Really enjoyed it. Too bad that they dont restrict the hookah to the outdoor seating so i can bring my wife and kids. Their restaurant may thrive since some people are looking for good food without the smoke.

Me and bunch of my friends went there for a boys night out, they wanted to be pitty and kick us out because we were just having too much fun and minding our own business, not bothering anyone. Worse place to take your friends to. Owner was being pitiful and didn’t want us to just enjoy the event and wanted to suffocate the whole event for everyone. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. OVER PRICED. NOT WORTH IT. DO NOT HOST YOUR EVENT THERE.

Cedars is always a fun time! We had a girls night here on a Saturday night. We made reservations for 9p and the music started at 10:30. There were two singers and a belly dancer.The food is always delicious here. Your ticket includes cold appetizers, hot appetizers, meat platter, and dessert.It is BYOB and you can also buy hookah.

Came here with a friend since we wanted to do hookah and found this place. It was an hour before closing. They only offered a pri fixe menu that was $45 and a cover charge for $35 each person, unnecessary. We left and dont plan on coming back. I found somewhere else where they are not money hungry and better service.

The worst place to bring your friends if you planning to have fun they mislead us, on price, they told us it’s ok to bring friends and stay then they permit us not to be in the dance floor without bothering anyone. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Please be aware of all the misleading they can put you in.

They literally just made me a Lebanese cheese burger! I devoured it!!!! Not only am I stunned at how delicious their tomatoes 🍅 are. I like their veggies marinated in vinegar 🤤 . The fries are consistent! The spot has Valet but I live up the street.

Great ambiance whether your there to just smoke (Real Fruit hookahs) or eat. BYOB free entry ( besides Live events) and great food.

Great night at Cedars Levanese Cuisine. First time there and felt welcome to be there. My waiter was very polite and willing to customize my order. The food was delicious, in fact, alot better than some of the other places Ive ate at, which come the day before writing this review, I would have said that nothing could compare. So here I am saying it couples couples and it was better! They offer outdoor seating and of course, BYOB. This is the vibe! I could not take clear pictures but I wouldnt make a decision based on it. I say, go and eat there because you are looking for a welcoming experience with some delicious food.

Came here to see the Arab Idol Winner Yacoub Shahin for an event and it was a blast had a great time and the food was amazing .

The entertainment is nice, I’d give that 5 stars. The food was also great. You get a good portion for the amount of people with you. I had a Party of 10 and the food was an ok amount. But for a huge bill, and barely seeing our waiter, there are better spots out there. We weren’t offered anything other than water. And when trying to ask for anything other we couldn’t because our waiter was no where to be found. You also get one pair of utensils for both appetizers and your meals. One plate. And ONE napkin. It’s a joke.

Omg!!! The service is very good but the manager is a disaster, his attitude and the way he speaks to the waitresses leaves a lot to think about. He is a bad person. I asked for the managers name Angel because as a customer I felt uncomfortable and dissatisfied with his behavior. The food is delicious and the place is good.

It was a decent time out. Music was awesome, the singer was very engaging and the Drummer was 100% on point! What killed it for me was the Belly Dancer with the same old routine.. She should really work on some new material for the show. The Candle Hat was ….lmaoooo! No words. Oh yeah, the food was pretty good as well.

Love it all food is fresh, i enjoy the hookah and, the arabic vibe going on!

We sat outside, it was simple but very nice. I called ahead and was told for 2 people, no reservation was required. However we arrived and were told inside required reservations. However people that arrived after us were able to get inside seating. I inquired with the manager if they possibly had seating for 2 people inside, he said he would check. 2/3 hours went by and he never got back to me. Our waitress was very nice was extremely neglectful. We sat down and waited 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. However a group came in after us and was waited on almost immediately. We ordered hookah, but waited another 30/45 minutes to place our order for food. Again the table near us came afterwards was served immediately. Over an hour went by we received our food. Our waitress would pass by but would not ask us how we are doing. Everything seemed to take longer than needed. The manager walked around to look but never asked if anyone needed anything. It was overall not a good experience.

I was there yesterday with ten freinds. The food was flavorful, nice presentation, servers are on point helping and keeping the table next.The outside room is great this time of yearGreat job, cedar of Lebanon.

Over priced, all that money and customer you have, be little generous about the out side chairs. Extremely low class for a business, and not comfortable at all , Since in side on Saturday evening after teen clock every one gets kicked out . You should invest on good chairs since the customer opinion matters to you.

Nice place. The live music and Belly dancer were really good. The food was excellent. The staff is friendly.

It is not as good or popular as it used to be. I was very disappointed by the Lamb Chop. It was the saddest Lamb Chop I ever had in my life. Im referring to the flavors, of course. Nevertheless, on the weekends and nighttime, it still gets pretty busy. The truth of the matter is they just fell off a little.

What a shame! Me and my husband walked in at 12:30 pm, the restaurant was completely empty. We wanted to sit in the glassed area, next to a window. There was a big table and 3 other 6 seaters. The waiter refused to let us sit on any of those tables, mind you again this restaurant was completely empty there was a total 4 customers in this place and its 12:30 pm. Horrible customer service, didn’t even acknowledge that we were upset and disappointed bc the waiter made no sense of not letting us sit on a table that we wanted. Never ever going back there again.

Wonderful, happy time with family and friends at our nieces Christening. Food was great and generous portions. Service staff was very prompt and attentive. Live music was great although a little loud for the space.

By far the worst restaurant Ive been to in my entire life. The most budget, lazy restaurant in history. The service was horrible. 2 incompetent waiters for the entire room full of customers. $75 pre-fix menu price and all you get is 1 bottle of water with no other options for drinks. We werent even offered any other options, and were not even given a glass with ice. The bread? Room temperature stale bread served in the plastic wrapper from the store. The meal itself was seasoned horribly, served room temperature, and was cafeteria-grade at best. They couldnt bother bringing new plates after the appetizers so we had to use our dirty utensils to make space for the new food on the undersized appetizer plate. Food aside, the singer was mediocre at best, and the music was so loud I couldnt hear my wife sitting directly next to me even screaming in her ear. The belly dancer looked like she watched one 10 minute how to belly dance video on YouTube and then gave it a shot without practicing. To provide such a lazy, forgettable and uninspired experience is one thing; but adding 20% non-negotiable gratuity to the worst dining experience known to mankind should be criminal. Dont waste your time or money, Ill be telling everyone I know to stay far away from this cafeteria.

First time here with family, sat outdoor for dinner and hookah. I’m not sure if there was one server working the entire outside portion but service was extremely slow. Took about 45 minutes to receive our appetizers and at least over an hour to receive the dinner entrees. Hookahs came quick and we’re good. We had to ask multiple times on how much longer for food and to go containers after. Food was good but barely warm. The waitress stood by my side as I was filling out and signing the receipt and tip which was extremely uncomfortable. For a family who came here to breakfast their fast to enjoy food and hookah it was a poor experience.

Tonight my spouse and I went to cedars. When we entered there were several empty tables. Being there my spouse had crutches ( leg injury) we went to a table that has 4 chairs so he can set his crutches.We were greeted by a shoulder length blond waitress who quickly tried to usher us into a small table with 2 chairs. We explained my husband has crutches and needs to set them down she tried to take them and put them agains the wall( across from the room).She then said this table( that we wanted ) is reserved. There are no reserved signs, i indicated this but she insisted we cannot sit there because that table is reserved.5 minutes later 2 Caucasian gentleman walk in and sit at the table we were trying to sit at .To put things into perspective there were 5 tables of 2 person each with capability to seat 4 people.So they did it for 5 tables but when it came to us they refused it.I would never come back to this establishment. They clearly value other customer than others. Because again there were 5 tables with 2 people on them that have 4 chairs each.This customer service is very poor.We will not be returning here again.

Was looking fwd to having dinner here this recent Saturday but once seated, our waiter informed us that its a mandatory prefix menu & if we wanted whats on the actual menu itll be a separately charged. How about there was nothing on the prefix that we wanted. We actually end up leaving. My suggestion is instead of a prefix menu, why not just have a minimum spend.

Great good. Great environment.Did not like the valet parking. They left my car door open for a long time while it was raining. There was a small puddle in my driver seat footarea, thankfully I had weather mats that collected it. The waitress was very good but she didnt know the food she was swerving from the menu. Not a big deal but it would help if they could explain what were ordering. We spent over $300, we expect the little thing. That being said, the food was amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

This place is incredible. We made reservations (which I highly recommend) for a Saturday night which is a prefixed menu night. The food was INCREDIBLE and it just never stopped coming out. 8 appetizers, a main course and a soft drink all included. This place is BYOB. Our waitress was amazing. Super attentive. The live music, belly dancer and ambiance are ridiculous. We had such a great time. Definitely going back! The hookah was also very good. The owner of this place is doing the right thing, very impressed. Job well done!

We had a reservation for 4 people. when we arrived they sat us down immediately but shortly after, we realized that our table was so cramped with hardly any space between us and the next table. The dance floor is so small because they set up as many tables as they can fit which made it so uncomfortable and hard to dance. We couldnt see the belly dancer because everyone was surrounding her on the tiny dance floor and management shouldve not allow that. We paid $55 fixed price per person and that includes the BD and dancing and food. We only eat but couldnt dance or watch the belly dancer. Also, the food is not enough for 4 ppl. I dont think we would go back.

Went during lunch and the place was a little empty. Food was delicious and portions are huge. If you dont mind the faint hookah smell then you should be fine. Plenty of parking and service was great. Will want to try this spot for dinner and give another review.

Took my family and friends to this place and it was a regret the service and communications Is a big disappointment misleading. We won’t go there and won’t recommend it to anyone I know.

My friends and I have been visiting the restaurant almost every week for 3 years. Relaxed and very non-posh vibe. Huge covered outside sitting area. And most importantly - reasonably priced Mediterranean food is consistently cooked to perfection every time.You can order hookah there as well - I consider it best in Northern Jersey.Overall, great place to go out with your friends.

You will have a mixed feelings of happy to see such a variety of Lebanese cuisine and the great taste of each and every dish you try, the experience won’t stop there you will have the raw meat dish “kibbé Nayyé” that’s the ultimate exquisite type of meal that goes with Arak…..you will never forget the taste!Then you need to try the shish kabab & chicken with that burning wood flavor in every bite plus the garlic.Then you finish that feast with the Lebanese coffee to calm down that feeling of satisfied and content!I won’t forget the atmosphere of people around you the service and of course the owners👏👏👏👏

I really enjoyed myself at Cedars lounge. The atmosphere was great, clean and inviting. The food was delicious.The lights were bright but workable. The green mint lemonade was to die for (highly recommend). The hookah was clean and had great flavors. Overall I had an awesome time

Overcrowded, no space on the dance floor. People keep bumping into each other. Nice Music but painfully loud. My ears were ringing for 3 days afterwards. Pay attention to your bill, they charge you 20% service fee.Food is great.

Excellent Lebanese Restaurant… but it’s more than a restaurant! I had the best bronzino I ever had last night. Served as whole fish grilled to perfection. Michel Hanna is the best host. We ate outside with friends and enjoyed a hookah and cigars. Beautiful outdoor covered space with large sliding door windows for a nice summer breeze. Can’t say enough about the staff and quality of food. Thank you again Michel!

It’s the worst place you can imagine and invite people to have fun and enjoy the night I will never recommend it to anyone it was impairs to invite my friends from out of state

After ordering drinks not once, not twice, not even three times but FOUR times (the drinks literally being two bottles of water) and ordering our meals and appetizers not once but TWICE in the course of 27 minutes, finally we are served bread. Half an hour later and still no food (but at this point we were asked an additional 3 times if we wanted hookah.) Thirty minutes passes and they bring out two wrong dishes and simply say oh , sorry i tried to help. Coming from the original server who took our drink order and never brought them. Unless you are going for hookah, dont waste your time trying to get food. Other tables sat after us were served before we were and the table next to us (who came easily 20+ minutes after we did) got served at the same time. Hookah customers are served immediately and waited on diligently. Good luck trying to find a manager. Went inside and literally it was empty. I actually really try to justify such abhorrent service before reviewing but they were so unapologetic that i genuinely couldnt find any way to excuse anything that transpired. Try another place and save yourself the time unless you want to walk out only having had some pita bread with olives and pickles after an hour of waiting.

Patio seating had some wait today and the cover charge to sit indoors (no food or beverages included) was $30. A bit too much. We waited half an hour to get a table in the patio. Food is good and the portions are large. Hookah is good too. Definitely a place I would want to come back to.

The food is absolutely delicious. It’s so refreshing and the quality is so fresh. Excellent for any celebration. Very big portions. Personally, I don’t think it’s kid friendly.

The outside area is nice, especially in the evening or at night. Good if you want to smoke Hookah, even though I am not a fan, it is a nice environment.

The mint lemonade is crack!!! I had 3 cups. I ordered the lamb chops. They were good. Grilled veggies wasnt bad. Hookah was cool. Nice vibe. Wish they had some trap music playing 😂. If Im in the area again, I would definitely go back.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice and I feel that the servers weren’t as responsive to my table compared to others. The most recent time I went there for my mother’s birthday and up until my boyfriend told our server he knew her she wasn’t coming to our table to help us with anything. They had a belly dancer and decided to bring our entrees at 12:30 am. When we recieved pur appetizers at about 11:00 p.m. I wouldn’t go there again. I normally don’t do reviews but I needed to for this especially after only two people paying 140$ when we didn’t even receive our entree.

Can you believe people party here like its a Friday night on Wednesday! As per me they have one of the best hookahs in New Jersey and the food is good as well. Special tip, order Spicy Potato and you will keep ordering it. The best part about this place is that both the hookah and food is not costly. Please note they dont serve alcoholic drinks but you can BYOB. Also, do try their desserts, its absolutely delicious. I gave 4 star only because sometime they keep minimum $30 spending per person even though its not full which I feel when we are going in a small group then its little steep.

Awful. Service from start to finish was terrible. Food was okay. Paid for a meal for 3, & immediately after finishing our food we were continuously asked to leave our table. When we refused as we were trying to explain we weren’t finished we were met with a guilt trip, rolled eyes, and heavy sighs thanks to Angel for the attitude. Do yourself a favor and do not come here.

First time here and may be the last as well.I made a reservation for a few people, that was put on the list at a wrong time, so when I got there, the table was not ready and I had to wait. My family were waiting for me to tell them Im inside since this was a surprise for my dad. Anyways, finally got a table after about 25 mins. Then, it looked like there werent enough servers for the entire place, as it took a very long time for us to put our appetizers order and of course, a very long time to place the order for our entrees. As you can imagine, yes, we had our food after a long wait time and at the end of the night, my sister had to go to the inside of the restaurant to get someones attention so we can order hookah, otherwise it would have happened the same as with our food.The outdoor sitting is ok and food was ok too. Considering what happened, I dont think I would come back unless there are enough employees to actually pay attention to all the costumers youre receiving at least during the weekends.

Came to this place not really what to expect.I love it the atmosphere, hookah, music, and food a bit different but hits the spot. Highly recommended. BYOB a plus.

The owner Michele came to our tableAnd told us why we don’t order food! I been coming to this Restaurant for 1 year and he wanted to come to my table and be like“You guys don’t order food, you can only come if you order food” what a disrespectful encounter! And I come there EVERYDAY! It’s not like I come once in awhile! I’m a regular! And this is how regular people are treated! It would be one thing if it was a rule but why was I never approached about this earlier? Why today? And the fact I’m here everyday at 5pm, I see so many regulars come, smoke and leave. What happened to them ordering food?! Looks like he wants to be selective to who he wants ordering food. And I would understand if I was holding up tables! Majority of the customers are 2 people+ and always there by myself or with 1 other person so it’s not like I was holding up tables! There were so many tables Available! Anyway! I will never come here again!

A busy place over the weekends with congestion, infinitely long wait times, but overall the food and hookah were great. The cold drinks were sadly served warm, there were 2 waitresses for 50 tables, the lady at the enterance was very unprofessional too. It could be a great experience on week days.

Absolutely horrible manager and treatment! Had a reservation one day in advance and drove 3 hours and was still rejected because of attire although we were dressed well and just as well as the guests sitting at their tables. That was their first excuse then it was because we are also a group of MEN and we dont have any girls in our party! It is as saying you are not welcome here because you are not from us. True story!We ended up going somewhere else, The Palace! Much better atmosphere and service and their food is amazing! Kind of happy we didnt end up in Cedars.04/23/2017

I spent my new year there. The table was too narrow, it barely could accommodate very few plates. The food portion was very little compared to the high price that we paid. The hookah smell was terrible, all our clothes smelled very bad. The waiter put the hookah (which wasnt mine) in the middle of my plate! And he replied that there is no other place to put it.The music was somehow good.

Very good local Lebanese restaurant. The ambiance is a little strange; the restaurant is also a night club in the evenings. The food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the chicken livers. The restaurant doesnt have a liquor license, but you can bring in your own beer and wine. Would recommend and looking forward to another meal at this establishment in the near future. We had lunch at Cedars.

Been here before. First time was last year for a private party loved the place loved the food. Fast forward to today, I ordered food for pick up. I ordered Cedars mixed grill 24$ plus 3$ for extra shrimp & 3$ for extra lamb chops with a side of additional of French fries. $36 total. For 24$ I was expecting sufficient amount of meat in the mixed platter. The meat came in a small plastic Chinese food container. There was only 1 shrimp and 2 lamb chops. Mind you I paid extra. There’s More pita bread than anything else. My personal opinion they’re Way over priced. The food does in fact taste good but for 36$ to barely receive food, I’ll pass.

Had dinner here last night with 2 friends and the service was horrible. When I arrived, nobody acknowledged us when we were standing by the podium for atleast 5 minutes. I had to actually go inside of the place to grab someone’s attention. I’ve been here twice before and the experience was a total different experience! Service was slow, every time we needed our waiter he was nowhere to be found .. we had to flag him down EACH TIME. The food was just ok. Cold, and overcooked. I had the lamb chops with the “grilled vegetables” .. and I also added some shrimp to my entree, that probably was the best thing out of everything. I was very disappointed about this visit, because I bragged to my friends about how good the food was .. it was very embarrassing.

Hookahs are OK, but they have a very short life span (after second round of coals, the hookah is pretty much done with). Also, the staff is nice but not attentive. Every time we go we see ourselves always looking around for a staff member to take our order, or get more coals, or ask for the check.They do, however, make up for the food. They have good appetizers and their frog legs are swimming in a really nice lemon juice. Not to mention their desserts are will put together also. Reasonably priced for this sort of restaurant/hookah bar. They have three separate seating arrangements; inside, outside but in a tent, and outside. There is valet, so you never need to worry about where to park your car.

I went in for take out, and I got to talk with a very nice waitress about where Lebanese food comes from, and how it is healthy, but also very delicious food!

My friend and I came from 6 hours away. On the new years. We called and reserved seven spots a week ago. As we were about to get in. A very anger and rude men approached us. In the spot with no much details, the rude guy told us the party only for couples and we didn’t look good enough to be in. Just wow we were never told that it’s only for couples even thought there was so many males there. We booked a hotel and came 6 hours away, booked a week ago!!!Lies...lies...To the rude bold guy that approached us. That guy, at his best he was very rude. And at his worst he should be fired.

We went there for a birthday party and gave us a fixed menu which was fine but the management was trying to over charge us for peoples plates that werent in our party. They were extremely rude!!! Threaten to kick us out because we spoke up. On top of that there were people fighting each other (not in our party but a different table ). The food was okay and the service was terrible. We got there around 9 and we did not get our food till 12. If your looking for good service dont come here! I am easy to please person and I dont ever write reviews but I want to warn people not to spend there money where its not worth it.

It’s my first time leaving a review. I’ve been coming here over the past few weeks and my experience has been nothing short of fantastic.I typically get a blue-mist with mint hookah and a chicken sandwich with fries on the side, sit for a couple of hours whilst studying and smoking, drop a few dollars in tips and leave.The hookah, the service and quality of food have met and exceeded my expectations and would definitely recommend to all.

I don’t know whether to appraise the chef or the business owner! I think this is the first five star rating I’ve ever given in the past two years or more.. they earn it. The restaurant itself is very well cleaned and organized from clean floors to classical music and friendly staff. Cannot wait to go there again and again!

Wanting to sit outside but needed a reservation, they promptly sat us inside.Menu is delicious with fresh ingredients.We got Baba Ghanouj and Chicken Shawarma Platter. Did not smoke hookah this time but will be going again for that and coffee.Delicious

Cedars was a nice place. They had a party in the main area but they relocated us into the outside patio. Its fully heated thank God. I had the grilled salmon, and it was delicious. And the hookah was good too. The only bad thing is that they took long to bring us the dessert, but we were there for a very long-time that its was fine.

Had been to this place before, food was good, but last Friday was a bad experience.1. Restaurant area was closed to party so all smokers were enclosed in tight space and no ventilation. Came out smelling like a pack of cigarettes.2. My friend and I were were just in for Holman and tea and snacks. We didn’t order dinner since we weren’t hungry, and they came to us and said “table closes at 10 for people not ordering dinner” 😳Talk about losing customer...

A restaurant that’s spacious and has nice ambiance. They offer free valet parking. Make sure that you’ve a reservation, the place gets filled fast and often it’s very difficult to get entry especially during weekends. They don’t have a lot of options for vegetarians. Also not of flavors in hookah. Service could be better.

Food was good, they have an outdoor section and the indoor has a cool big fish tank and looks like indoor section has a set up for shows? Most likely during the weekends+friday.They give free of that bread naan and some carrtots etc when you sit

Came here for first time and wasnt impressed at all. With we ordered Hummus n platters. The hummus was really bad in taste and the platter was decent. The server was a very nice guy however didnt check on us ofter. Many times we needed something or refill we had to wait a while because no one was there. (we sat inside not outside but not a good reason to be neglected).

This is the 6th or 7th visit I make to Cedars. We are in love with the overall atmosphere, and the food is amazing . Staff is nice, and the owner is very courteous and respectful. The price is fair. HOWEVER, each time we go there we end up leaving early because we suffer from the LOUD speakers. The place needs better sound engineering . We sat and listened to Rana B. Who is a wonderful singer with amazing talent. Nonetheless we were not understanding the lyrics at all because the sound we were receiving was noise pollution. I spoke with the owner about the problem and he went up to the band and said something . Unfortunately it did not change anything. The bottom line is , the place is too small for the loud sounds. Congruity and coherence are crucial to creating the right atmosphere. We love the place and we hope one day we can return and enjoy without suffering. If it were not for the sound noise I would have given the place 5/5.

I love this place! it has great food every time ive been there.if your a salad type of person, i would suggest ordering the chicken fatoush. its very citrusy and refreshing! and also the lemonade mint slushy- 10/10

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The service was absolutely horrible and the food was just as bad. We came in at 8:30 and werent offered any drinks or had any menus brought to us until 9:15. They then brought us cold pita bread and no water. We had no utensils on the table and we had to ask for them to be put on our table. At around 9:40 we placed our order, only to wait one hour for our food to come. They then proceeded to bring us the wrong food. And the food was all undercooked. Will never go back and do not recommend any else does either.

We came here mostly for hookah. We sit usually in the glass covered outdoor seating and once indoor. Hookah is pretty good, maybe a little over priced though at $30. The calamari is delicious.

One of the best dining experiences Ive ever experienced. Every dish we had was delicious. Mario our server excellent.This just became one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. Cant wait to return with friends.

I was there with my family ..it was such a great experience as i was sitting outside and the waitress lina was very helpful and descent and she asked us our opinion on the food and if we have any problem to change it.... I asked her to sit inside .. the waiter asked the manager and moved us to inside ..overall it was a great experience and very good service.

They have the best tabouleh I’ve ever had. The ambiance of the outside patio area is very nice. They have lot of great hookah flavors. Parking lot is valet-only.

Really relaxing place to dine.Theres plenty of foods that allows you to take a step into the culture it reps, as well as good service to boot!Its fancy, a bit pricey but the atmosphere and taste is worth it for sure.

This place has it all .... a great location , ample parking , immaculate ambience and above all fantastic and savory food.Service is phenomenal, servers and the owners are very friendly. It’s a family owned business and if you have any issues they will handle it for you right there on the spot. They have been extremely cautious Post shutdown opening due to COVID 19. They stepped up their precautionary measures .I recommend you visit and try for yourself .

This place is a lot of fun after 10:30 pm on Friday nights when the DJ begins and the belly dancers graces everyone with her presence and her moves. When the belly dancer is done people usually get up and dance to their ethnic music. It is actually beautiful to see. I would definitely return again.

Spent lots of money, they wanted us to leave not too long after. They charged us extra because apparently there was a minimum spending limit?! Which they didnt even let us know. They just charged us at the end. Place is really loud, and cheaply designed. Would not recommend!

I went for dinner with my sisters and brothers last night ,we waited for 20mins for a menu, in all the service was not good our waitress was not good. She was spending all of her time with the other table. I understand its was mothers day. But I felt like we paying customers we should have the same service. I dont thing ill be going back soon .

I wish there was an option of negative star, while visiting from Florida I searched close by Lebanese food and unfortunately this place pop up. Florida has best of the best middle eastern food. Which might have set my standard so high for quality food. But while leaving my son was already craving with stomachache.I hope this place improve there food and be successful but current food I would not recommend anyone.

Went to Cedars with my boyfriend. We were told we would have to wait 45 minutes for a table for two and that they would call us when seating was available. This was fine - we put our name down and patiently waited the 45 minutes. This turned into an hour and fifteen minutes - also understandable on a busy night. We called to ask how much longer the wait would be at this point, and the host said that the customers at the table we would be seated at were getting ready to leave. He said it would be approximately another 10 or 15 minutes. He asked us again what name we put down, and told us he would call us within those 15 minutes. HE NEVER CALLED US. Not in 10 minutes, not in 20 minutes, not for the entire night. We tried calling back multiple times, but no one answered. We first put our names down at 7:30 - its not like we arrived so late that the clientele already seated were staying until closing. Something so simple as following up with someone should not be so difficult. Very disappointed in this host.

Love this place, food is always fresh and excellent, if you like Lebanese food this is the place in NYC/NJ to eat it hands down, there is not a better place, entertainment is great, owners are there every day managing and the staff is always good! Hookah preparation and coal running are on point.

Food is good. Service is good. But DJ sooooooooooo loud you will hurt your ear. I know they were going after a true and authentic night at a Lebanese club, and they did.. but I will always give the noise a 3/5 here or in Lebanon or anywhere..

Food is ok but the service and the hookah is terrible. They are always short staffed and need to hire more waiters and waitresses. Also the hookah used to be really good but now it’s one of the worst ones out there. The coal is not the same and the the fruit head doesn’t not give enough flavor.

Authentic Lebanese experience and delicious food. I would not go anywhere else to smoke hookah and eat. Best place to relax or party. Came to the party on Friday and the dj was great, food delicious and great atmosphere. Me and my friends had an amazing time. Saturdays the parties are completely Lebanese with live singers and a belly dancer. Definitely an amazing experience for an outsider. The staff is attentive and very nice. I will definitely continue coming!

Great food and hookah. BYOB but they are getting a liquor license soon. Their staff are great and always coming around to tend your hookah. The only place Ive been to that gives you a fruit head (grapefruit) for no charge. Im coming back here every chance I get!

What an experience. My husband and I along with our two 19 & 21 years old daughters couldn’t ask for a better place to enjoy our food, live music and extremely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you. We will always keep this place in mind anytime we come back to New Jersey.

Called to make a reservation, they said no reservations. Walked in, was denied a table because they were reserved. Seems like they are selectively choosing who they want in. Before you go here, know these two things:1. If you dont hsve a luxury car, the valet will move it to the side parking lot or you will have to park on the street.2. Its $25 minimum per person.The only reason this deserves one star is because the food was halfway decent. The service is horrible and terribly slow. They sit all the hookah smokers with the non smokers (me) so I had smoke blowing in my face all night. I will never come back here again.

We just went in later in the night after 9 pm for tea appetizers and shisha. We were seated right away and the food/tea/sheesha was good. Will be returning again. Complimentary valet parking is always convenient too!

Horrible food and service. We ordered lamb chops and the meat was so tough you basically had to pry it off. Never seen such lousy service. When we asked for water they just gave us a bottled water same thing for sprite it came in a can. For a restaurant you would think they would put it in a glass cup. I feel like the whole thing was just on a fly no one cares. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN!!!

Each and every time, it is worth the trip. The area is well furnished, with relaxed lighting, an aquarium with tropical fish, an entertainment system with superior sound and a large, mounted HD TV screen. Service is prompt and friendly, and you will want to come back again and again.

The food was good however the service...what can I say we had to ask for one thing three times and still did not end up getting it. Very disappointed. The waitress didnt even come to our table to see if we needed anything we had to stop her and ask. We ordered dessert and waited 45 minutes only to end up leaving and paying at the front desk.

Cedars Lebanese Cuisine is definitely one of the better places of its kind in the northern New Jersey area. Overall the staff are very friendly and efficient, the food is always fresh and delicious, the owners are very welcoming and treat everyone like their own friends. Saturday nights are very exceptional, you will get to enjoy a generous variety of delicious foods and a very entertaining music program with the best singers. I have been to Cedars several times since their grand opening and I have always been a very satisfied customer. If you are looking for a worthy spending of your money in a very clean restaurant you should try Cedars Lebanese Cuisine, you will not be disappointed!

The place it’s really nice the food is good but I’m giving only one star because my son on his graduation party accidentally left one of his envelope no one never returned. I called just after we left the place no one see it. Ya right. I called next day and spoke with manager he have already silly excuse for me. No one see it no one took it. So I’m asking where is it? It’s that the way how they treat costumer? I’m so disappointed of them.

The GLOWS of this place:1. They serve incredible food for the Saturday night parties. Their grilled Salmon is out of this world.2. The waiters and waitresses are mostly friendly, caring, mindful, and prompt.The GROWS of this place:1. The band (singer) who performed on Saturday the 18th was the turning point in our decision to return to this place. Unless we find out who is singing in advance, we will not go there. The band was awful. The songs were horrific. People could not dance at the lack of beat. The voice-music threshold was missing---everyone was on his own.2. The manager who takes appointments needs to learn to act professional and respectful. He walks around with an open unbuttoned shirt and a cross and acts like a thug with an attitude. He turned us all off.3. We called to ask for directions after getting lost, and the waiter who picked up the phone put us on hold for 10 minutes. We hung up and called again, and he closed the phone in our face and refused to answer. When we finally found the place, we confronted the waiter and complained about the treatment, the manager stepped in and said that he does not apologize for the behavior of the waiter because they are very busy on Saturday night. Again, the manager acted in a very unprofessional manner and must learn some etiquette and perhaps be taught that class has nothing to do with acting like a thug. This was our 5th visit to the place, and will certainly be the LAST!

Subpar customer service.. Asking for water was painful.. We politely asked 3 times before getting some.. The table was full of crumbs from the previous party. The food looked good but was terribly under cooked and very dull. First and last visit..

Super chill place, great for smoking hookah and eating some good lebanese food. They have two sections, one main hall with live music and another side room which is more relaxed. The main hall is usually too noisy for is so the side room is perfect. They have valet parking as well. Overall, good spot for melow Fridays.

Always a great atmosphere and foods delicious. Their Tabouleh is my aboslute favorite. Get that almost every time with a side of chicken. Perfect combo and their menu is caloric friendly. Cant go wrong with Hookah and BYOB.

I celebrate my birthday I had a good time with my friends but I was not so happy with our waitress she was not nice to us and had a pissoff face. I ordered the Filet Mignon Medium the meet was so dry the bread was so hard just the appetizers was okey !!!

NEVER GOING BACK, their manager/owner is super disrespectful. He wanted to charge us 3x the cover charge for no reason before we sat down. He spoke to us in a very disrespectful manner and literally ruined our night. Never been treated like that by so called management. He told us we werent worth having in the resturant if we didnt pay a cover charge of 45$ plus all order hookah, when another worker had just told us that the guys would only have to pay a cover charge of 15$ and girls were free on fridays. Never going back there again, and would not recommend it to others. It is a rip off and not worthy of your time.

This place has a lot of choices of different things on the menu if you are vegan or vegetarian. Service was great, very professional and helpful in suggesting different types to order. I love the fact they have valet parking.

My 2nd time here and I really enjoyed the food! Started with the hummus with meat, the red pepper and crushed walnut and arugula salad, main dish was the shrimp with vegetables. I was surprised they serve cold pita bread but they warmed it up when asked.

I’ve tried these through my daughter and will be ordering. I’ve tried a variety of meal prep companies and cedar meal prep by far has the best food and flavor! Chicken shwarma is my favorite but all the meals are delicious!

We had a party of 21 and went on a Friday night. Not only did this place ROCK but the service, food, music, & entertainment was far more than what I even anticipated. Would go back in a heartbeat! Loved it.

This place is beautiful and entertaining, however the service needs to improve!!!! We went there for a bday waited 20 min. For menus. We ended up ordering appetizers only. When they cut our cake they never brought back what was left of it. Really bad service. Shame for such a beutiful place.

Food is decent and service is ok. Prices are a bit high considering that Paterson is close and much cheaper for the same food. My main issue is that living nearby, patrons park in the residential area, living behind trash of all sorts from late night partying here. Probably better as a club.

The business structure of this place is an absolute joke. If you have a large group you are forced to buy the pre fixe ($40.00 + 20% gratuity and tax) If youre a male and dont want the pre fixe theres a 20 dollar entrance fee because a local DJ is performing. On top of that you have to purchase a minimum of $35 worth or goods. For a place that looks like a run down strip club on the outside with a few fancy lights on the inside its better to go elsewhere... They also give you different prices over the phone than what is on their website.

I give this place 3 stars due to the fact the service was HORRIBLE!!!!! we got there at 7 however we didnt get our food until 9pm!!!! And when we got our food it was cold along with not everyone food who was at our table still had not come out!!!!!! And the crazy part about it is we were the first ppl there and everybody who came in after us seem to get their food before us SMDH so when we asked for a manager some guy who was like 12 yrs old came out so we told him our complaint and he looked as if he didnt know what to do uggg its to long of a story so although the food was ok the service was not!!!!

Very rude & unprofessional staff. Made reservations for 17 and were pushed to the side in two separated tables even though we requested them to be put together. Then the “familiars” group of 10 came in and were given the bells and whistles! Food was subpar & took an eternity to come. Try again cuz this ain’t it. It’s a hassle to ask for the party to be seated together? PLEASE.

$20 cover, music is super loud inside....super loud, your ears will be ringing when you leave. Food was ok.Will not return, I felt like my ears were going to pop.Oh yes and mandatory valet parking.

I came from Maine to NJ on the new year and I had booked reservation. I drove 6 hours to NJ. We got to the place. I was approached by a bold guy in the front door he kicked me and my friends out because we were boys how disgusting is that.

Very nice clean place.. food is superb & ambiance is better than most hookah lounges... just in case you could smoke cigarettes as well but not cigars ( indoors ) outdoors is a free for all.The food selection is simple and very inline with most Lebanese restaurants with food selection but this place is not one season and music is not loud that interrupts your conversation..Free valet parking & oooook just ok outside patio.

This place is a joke. Prices are super high. Youre not assigned a server, you stop and ask whoever you see when you need assistance. I wouldnt go back again. Theres far better places there with better food and reasonable prices

The food was delicious, I ordered lamb chops and my friend ordered the chicken shawarma, the hummus was also fantastic. the server was really great, I loved my experience.

First and last time here. Awful service, long wait and bland food. Asked for a water and a soda, received just that, a Poland Spring bottle and a can of Pepsi. When we asked for glasses with ice, waiter came back with wine glasses, just odd. Ordered Cedars mix grill platter and the Lamb chops. On the mixed grill platter, the fillet was overcooked, the chicken was dry and the kufta had zero flavor. The Lamb chops were tough. Feel it was a waste of time and money, we were disappointed

By far THE WORST SERVICE Ive ever experienced in any restaurant, on any day!! We got sat down and waited over 90 minutes to get our food, 2 of my kids got their burgers after that but the other 4 of us didnt get ours til 20 minutes later, we ate in turns, they brought the food cold and my dish took a total of 105 minutes from the time I sat down. They served 4 different tables that came after us, before taking our orders.. WHERES MANAGEMENT to keep track of who walks in first???At the end, my son didnt get his order and we left without him eating at all.. ALMOST 2 HOURS AND DID NOT GET HIS FOOD AT ALL!!When got the check, THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE FOOD MY SON DID NOT EAT!!!Im sure theres better Lebanese places!!

It is a really great gathering place. The food was outstanding, You can come here for any event, business, friends ,family gatherings, Bring your own bottle Or select from their restaurant, its relaxing, smoke hookah, Regular cigarets or vapes have Appetizers or full dinners, Outside or inside, Belly dancing and etc. Had a wonderful time!

We were seated right away then waited for over 30 minutes for someone to take our order and bring us water. After asking one additional time for service, we had to leave because. We are hoping to go back again soon and try 1 more time.

The best Lebanese food out there! Friday and Saturday night they play music which are my favorite days, although sometimes I enjoy the outside patio for dinner, the staff is amazing and everything about this place is Great, thank you for treating us so good!James & Abe
