First time. An I Enjoy it .. Sign up for membership @ the end .. Took Someone For Their Birthday as A Gift .. Staff is Hand Down Great

I have been a loyal customer for multiple years. I have enjoyed almost all massages received at massage envy; however, this month I had an issue with them charging my account for no reason. The front desk has not been helpful at all, and I have yet to speak with the accounts manager that the front desk has supposedly left messages for him or her to contact me. I am now being told when to come up there since they cannot respond appropriately. I am not sure if I will be refunded for the fraudulent charges, and I have sadly decided to end my monthly membership since customer loyalty is not something this massage envy understands.Update: the accounts manager did finally call me and let me know that it was an accidental charge, and I will receive a refund.

My massage was not even 60 mins, so it was cut short. She just kept doing the same massage over and over again. She was really nice, but I just wasnt pleased with the massage. They were playing Christmas music in July. The front desk associate was nice, but you could tell she was faking it. She also charged my debit card instead of using my gift card. They refunded the money, but it took 5 days for them to do it and told me it would be another 5 days to see it in my account. Just not the best massage Ive ever had and it definitely should have been my full 60 mins I paid for. Not worth the hassle.

This was the first and possibly the worst massage I have ever have. Way to bright when I walked in the room and it was cold. Not comforting at all. She did not explain what she was doing even though she knew this was my first massage. Lotion or oil was cold then she placed a hot towel on my back with no warning. I could hear her phone vibrating and not so sure she was not texting since there were odd periods of time she was totally silent but not massaging. She just didn’t seem to be into her work. Basically a job for her and that is it. Will not go back. I recently had a facial by Kim at the Glam Beauty Bar in Anderson and it was amazing. I will try a massage there next time. I do not recommend Massage Envy.

I went in for an hour massage this afternoon after months of back pain, and Deasaea changed my life. I am going to be going back to her as often as I can. She worked so hard to undo all the tension and knots in my back, and was so amazingly kind. I would recommend her to anyone whos ready to say goodbye to chronic pain and hello to good posture and better circulation. Absolutely incredible!

Very disappointed with this location. Let me start by saying that my massage therapist was phenomenal. I had a great massage. However, the customer service at the front desk was awful. I called at 1pm, right when they opened. Nobody would answer the phone until 1:25. When I finally got someone to answer I asked if there was any availability for a massage ( I had JUST checked online and they had a 6pm open- I just prefer to book via phone to avoid mistakes) and was told they were booked completely. I went back on the website to book for the next day and decided to check to see if the 6pm was booked. It was available. I called back to question prices and asked about why they said they were booked if they weren’t. The lady claimed they had a cancellation, which is a lie because I literally had JUST checked prior to calling and immediately after. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager, though I doubt that with her unprofessional manner. She was rude and definitely the reason I won’t be back.

I called to change an appt for a facial and told that same-day cancellations are charged 50% penalty and I was told this at the time of booking. I was not. She read my booking notes and said I have a problem with acne. Which I dont, so everything about the booking was wrong. When I told her I would not pay the cancellation fee because I was not informed, she hung up on me. What excellent service. I cant say enough about this wonderful place. NOT. Theyd rather lose a customer and risk a horrid review for everyone to see rather than waive a fee. Thats great business sense. Zero stars, and I will not ever deal with them again.

I have been seeing Tonga for almost one year, twice a month and have appreciated her help in identifying issues with my neck and back. She has been consistently proactive in helping to relieve my muscle discomfort all with a very pleasant and positive attitude. Everyone at the front desk has always greeted and welcomed me while handling all the business very professionally and cheerfully. The facility is clean and nicely decorated promoting a relaxing atmosphere.

They charge a “coming back fee”?! And won’t explain what this is. I am taking legal action for fraudulent charges charged to my credit card. I have never been to Massage Envy in Anderson and it’s been years since I’ve been to the last place. I could not make my appointment and expected to pay the massage Charge but when I realized they’d charged my card almost the cost of two massages I realized how this company is now operating! I will never return to any Massage Envy! Charged for two Massages when I was never even touched! This is robbery!

I have chronic pain and fibromyalgia, and I usually see a chiropractor.I had a particularly bad pain day, so I booked a massage and happened to luck out with an amazing massage therapist who I loved.I bought one of the packages, putting me under contract with Massage Envy for a whole year. That therapist quit the same week, and now Im stuck with this expensive contract for massages that are in my opinion just okay (Ive tried two other therapists that the front desk recommended to me based on my chronic pain situation). I also have to use this specific Massage Envy location due to the nature of the contract.Most places, if the results stop suiting your needs you can leave and find somewhere else but I feel like I got my hopes up and got hustled.

One of the best massages I have ever had. Blaine is very talented and intuitive to my bodies stresses. Hannah the manager is exceptional and made sure I had a great experience along with Tajana, Savanah and Kathy. You don’t want to miss this wonderful stress relieving experience. Tonya is my favorite masseuse at Massage Envy in Anderson. I was really tight and had aches and pains in my neck and shoulders before going to her on a regular basis. Now, after having gone to her for several months, I feel so much better! Getting deep tissue massages and stretch sessions with her have made a huge difference for me. I highly recommend her!!

I love Massage Envy. Last week I got a deep tissue massage from Tonya, and my lower back and shoulders feel so good now I can play sports again. Today I did my first facial and my face feels super smooth. If I keep this up Ill definitely feel less stressed and more relaxed which is even better for my wife 😉

I was a customer for 6 months and enjoyed it very much. I received a gift card from there and called to make my appointment. Being a customer previously, you think they would have all my information and would not need my credit card again. 2.5 hours before my appointment, I received a call letting me know that my appointment was bumped. Previously, being a customer and them having my information, you think they would not do that. Massage Envy has lost my business, my companys business, and anyone else that is looking for a place to get a massage. Crappy customer service on your part!!!!!Donna Martin

Awful Management. My wife and I have been trying to cancel her membership for 3 days now. The first time she called they told her she couldn’t because she was in a contract...a 5 year contract? She has been a member since 2013 and has not once been told she was signing a contract let alone a binding contract. She has never signed a piece a contract stating this either electronically or print. We decided to cancel because they have canceled the last 3 out of 5 massages/facials on her or have scheduled her for the wrong time even though the appt card said the correct time. She an I both have requested to talk with a manager and have yet to hear back from one. This is the 3rd day with no response from anyone at massage envy. We’ve both talked to different employees and at different times of the day and there never seems to be a manager there. This is a absolute joke a a business with unacceptable management. It’s bettef to find a private practice than massage envy.

I have contacted corporate via voicemail and email. I am finished trying to resolve this issue internally.June 2016 I called to schedule my monthly massage. I was told the store could not verify the payment was taken out of my acct. This happened again in July 2016 and Aug 2016. I called monthly and my issue was noted, but no manager was available and the manager never called. In Aug When my membership was due for renewal I took my bank statements into ME and showed proof of payments. The info was taken and noted, but I was again told I could not use my massages until a manager verified the info. I told the customer service rep to cancel my membership. I did not want to renew it. She said she did so. Again, no manager addressed my 3 massages I paid for, but ME said they need proof of payment which I provided. ME has continued to charge me monthly. The latest payment was April 2017. We have not reached the withdraw date for May yet. I have continuously called requested withdraw to stop and a refund to be issued. At this time we have move to Asheville, NC. Each time I have been told the note was taken and a manager would be in touch. 2 weeks ago my husband made the call to Anderson ME b/c I was over dealing with it. He was told the client service rep could see where I had cancelled in Aug 2016. She could also see notes from where I had called several times. But she was not a manager. She could cancel my membership again, but could not do anything about the money that has been fraudulently withdrawn and a manager would call him b/c she was at lunch. Again, no call from the manager. At this time I am reaching out to corporate b/c if I do not receive a refund I am going to my lawyer and sueing ME for fraudulently withdrawing funds from my bank account for nearly one year. Actually, one year next month if you consider the 3 massages I could not use b/c the Anderson store said my payments showed as pending.I would like an email response and a phone call with 72 hours with a full refund. I am not going in circles with your store any longer. I will also be posting reviews about my experience starting tonight.

My massage with Freiya(sp) was nothing short of amazing. She is really talented and you can definitely tell she enjoys making people feel relaxed. I have traveled to my fair share of MEs and she is by far one of the best massage therapist i have encountered! I could not sit idle and not leave a review. i highly recommend her to anybody in the Anderson, SC area. The young lady at the front desk was also extremely polite! This location is spectacular!

What a joke this place is. Talk about unprofessional! I booked a massage for 11 am and was kept waiting for 20 minutes when I asked what the delay was, they said the therapist I was booked with no longer worked there. Can you believe that! No voice message was left notifying me not to come. I wasted a 20 minute drive to get there as well. The people at the front desk were taking forever to check people out too. So again I had to wait. I Am thoroughly disgusted by this unprofessional. business.

Ive been going to Massage Envy for over a year now. I see Freyia, and she is wonderful. She has helped my neck and shoulder area tremoundsly ( where I carry my tension at). She also did an amazing job while I was pregnant and saved my lower back from many aches and pains. The front staff is very friendly and professional. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

Deceptive business practices and not the greatest massage therapists. After every massage they tried telling me I need to come in at least every 2 weeks. Only signed up for 6 months but somehow I had to pay for an extra month without membership. Do not sign anything with this company. Probably will be sued at some point.

I absolutely love massage envy, I became a member almost two yrs ago and i havent regretted it once. My two favorite ladies are Kylee (she is an amazing Massage therapist)and Silivia (front desk staff 😍)These ladies are so professional and friendly. Kylee gives the best massages, she uses the perfect amount of pressure and also gives great stretches.This is a place you must try 😍

Be wary of any signed contracts ! My daughter and her husband signed up. Four months later had not gotten their massages although I had paid the monthly charge each month. When I went to stop the charges on my credit card I was told they had to sign a form for an early release I could not even though it was coming out of my credit card. I asked Since I have paid those monthly bills and you say massages carry forward can they get the ones they have paid for? I was told NO. Not a fan anymore!!

Love Fraya (spelling may be off) she is great and very welcoming. However when you go to check out the business is very stren on tipping and the range you are to leave each time. So if your only able to get enough to have massage go ahead and know its going to be 15-20 tip for any service and any expense. There is a tiny sign up front you wont notice right away with the tipping range requirement on it.

Cynthia does my massage every two weeks. Shes fantastic! She does a great massage and is really good at reading when you want to talk and when you want to be quiet.

Freyia has been serving me for years...she knows exactly what I need. I am an athlete and I am so glad Massage Envy hires the most qualified masseuses. I WOULDNT GO ANYWHERE ELSE for my massage needs💕🏃‍♀️💕💪‼️

Went for my 1st ever massage yesterday and it was amazing!!! Had Katie and she was so professional and made me feel so relaxed!!! Will definitely be going back 😊

Do not sign up for the membership!! They tell you that you can get out of it if you have financial difficulties, and then the worthless manager is never to be found and the horribly rude receptionist won’t help you. I also received the worst facial of my life there. I literally cried because of how painful it was. Waste of time and money. Rude staff and the manager Rachel is the absolute worst!!!

Cynthia was a great massage therapist! Very professional and helpful. Savannah made the experience great with her knowledge of the products and help up front.

Always good service from the staff. Desk is always helpful and get you in and out quickly. All the therapist are courteous and accommodating to your massage needs.

BEWARE OF ANY PURCHASES AT MESSAGE ENVY!! I tried to purchase a gift card as a Christmas gift and the website would not accept my debit card. After the third attempt I gave up and purchased from another company. The next day my account was charged $60 but I did not receive a confirmation email or a gift card. I contacted their customer service and asked for a refund. Ranisha McClure sent me a gift card instead. I re-explained to her that I wanted a refund because I had purchased a message from another company. Ranisha then explains how this is all my fault and that she will not give me a refund. IF YOU MUST USE MESSAGE ENVY I HIGHLY RECOMEND USING CASH ONLY!!!

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent Experience!!! Professional and courteous staff. I felt like I was truly being listened too and my needs met! I felt extremely relaxed and refreshed after my massage! I will def be returning!

Wish I could rate this in the NEGATIVES!!!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!! I am a West Marine customer, and over the summer and even some in the winter season, Five Guys business would take up the whole parking lot basically, so I was forced to park in the very end space marked Massage Envy Parking, which is bull crap. THEN, the associate actually came out SCREAMING at me telling me I had to move my da*n car I cant park there! IN ADDITION, she actually followed me INSIDE of West Marine still screaming!! Gladly, one of the West Marine associates put a stop to it and apologized, informing me that this happens quite often. How SICK AND PATHETIC! If this wasnt enough, when I came OUT of the store, the same witch had FLIPPED MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS and put freakin Massage Envy flyers all over my vehicle and actually taped one on my windshield! I SHOULD have called the cops for vandalism of private property and be sure that next time I will! Anyways, COMPLETELY DISGUSTED with this outfit, wish they would be shut down. What a terrible terrible business!!!

Ive been visiting massage envy for several years now and typically visit a minimum of once/month. They have a variety of therapists and a broad range of hours that works for my schedule.

Had a great experience! Really enjoyed my massage and everyone was very welcoming and kind! I liked it so much I signed up for a membership!

Tonya at the Anderson office is absolutely wonderful. I was having a difficult time doing normal activities and now my quality of life has really improved. With each session I get better and better.

Tounga and Deserea are the best! They both know how to relieve pain in the body and stress through deep tissue massages. I had Tounga for the longest but because of my change in schedule I had to get Deserea! Not sure if spelling her name right! But when you go make sure to request either one and you wont be disappointed!

My session with massage envy was and always very relaxing. I have MS the massage helps me relax and my joints and bones do not ache at all. Also my sleeping at night it also helps. I have a relaxing night sleep.

The masseuse I was paired with couldnt physically handle what I had signed up for, my session time was reduced without my knowledge, and no one told me until I had already wasted an hour of my time. Was so angry that I walked out. Ended up making me more stressed out. Counter productive visit.

You need to try Massage Envy!! Kylie is the best by far, but I have tried other therapists and they have all been good! Well worth the monthly charge!

Tonya won me over from the first massage! She noticed something from a injury no other massage therapist has ever mentioned and shes helped me regain some mobility in that area.

Will not being doing business with this location. Called to set up an appointment and was transferred back and forth at least 3 times, hung up on MID-CONVERSATION several times, asked my name and how to spell it at least 5 times, and finally told that I cannot set up an appointment at the location without first contacting my home location. Reed, Lauren, Mischa, whoever else, what kind of business are you guys running?

I was in soooo much pain but Felicity was perfect in getting me together. Im not 100% but at least I walked out feeling better than when I walked in.

Honestly I felt like all she done was rub lotion in my skin and thats it. Also my gift card said 1 hour and when i got in the room she said their messages are only 50 minutes.

Called hre for pricing on massage, was immediately hung up on. When i immediately called back the call was let go to voice mail. Sad. Will not be calling them again. Will find a place that wants my business.

90 minutes and I feel like a new person! Blane is always super professional and Sylvia is always friendly and helpful!
