My boyfriend and I came here to get pedicures! The inside is newly renovated and staff are very attentive. I was lucky to have Wendy as my nail tech! I just came back from Japan and NYC where I was walking 20,000 steps per day for weeks... so my feet were looking ROUGH. Wendy was quick! She made sure I left with smooth feet and pretty toes. Overall - very satisfied with my service.

Lavender Day Spa is so relaxing! They offer a variety of services in a peaceful, clean and spacious environment. I had my first appointment with Nora today and she gives a phenomenal deep tissue massage. I will definitely come back and recommend this establishment to all of my friends here in Gilroy!

I have not had a pedicure in over 10 years. Tina was the lady that helped me and she was amazing. Very calming and relaxing experience. I am on vacation and not from here. I would definitely be here every two weeks if I could. Thank you so much Tina you made my week.

I recently visited Pure Lavender Day Spa in Gilroy for a haircut and color with Trisha, and I couldnt be happier with the results! Despite being in a time crunch, Trisha did an amazing job and transformed my hair beautifully in such a short amount of time. I absolutely love my new look!The spa itself has a stunning atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Shout out to the spa manager, Athena, for doing such a great job. I cant wait to return and try their head spa. Highly recommend Pure Lavender Day Spa for anyone looking for top-notch service and a relaxing experience!

Got a gel manicure and pedicure and am very pleased with the outcome. The two women were extremely detailed and thorough, and listened to anything I expressed during the service. The place is clean and relaxing. Will definitely come back and I also like the check-in process.

Had the acrylic set done by Tammy. She was awesome! She actually redid what someone else kind of messed up because they rushed through it. But no problem! Tammy is very talented, and she took her time! Seems to be a perfectionists 😂 which is fine with me! 😁. Thanks, Tammy!!🩵

I always love coming here. I rarely get to go out for pedicures but the vibe is very friendly, relaxing, and clean. Beautiful spa. Comfortable chairs. Highly recommend 👌

Clean and spacious! Looking forward to the new services. Today I had a manicure with Tracy and a pedicure with Wendy. They did a great job, I especially enjoyed the massage!

My nails look awful. They actually forgot to scrub my friends feet. Very expensive, I gave a tip to be nice. 80 dollars for a horrible quick, bad mani and pedi. Do not waste your time or money. Also took 2 hours cause they said they had time- but didnt. Look at the polish- did not fix or want to add a extra coat so it looked even.

This place is AWESOME! I’m in from Colorado and spent 1/2 the day in this swanky place. From the moment I walked my experience was stellar. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Annie gave me an amazing massage and facial. I did the Head Spa treatment with Nora and it rocked. Trisha styled my hair and I love it. . Shout out to Mimi who did my pedi and Spring who did my nails. My nails and toes are ready for the holiday weekend. This was I great experience.

I have always had a great experience at Lavendar. I typically get pedicures and sometimes massages. I have always been treated really well by all of the team members. The is time Kaly & Lisa did a GREAT job (thanks ladies!) on our pedicures as we leave for Paris. Also, they were friendly, hard working, efficient, and accommodating.I’m also impressed by the beautiful updates the new owners have made too. The salon feels very fresh & restful! ✨✨✨

It was my fault for going on a busy day before a holiday weekend, but I was told that there would be an opening at 11:30 when I called.I would have respected and appreciate it more if Evan was just honest with me to say that hey it’s too busy right now, but we can take you at a different time or later in the day versus telling me to come in and then having to wait 45 minutes . I understand that it’s a holiday, but you should still be mindful of people schedules. The basic pedicure only takes 35 minutes so to have to wait 45 minutes plus another 10 minutes trying to check out (looks like there was a new trainee at the front desk) results in an hour wasted of my time and caused me to be late to my next appointment.The pedicure was just ok , my nail tech had to rush and leave to tend to the next customer but the paint job itself wasn’t perfect. I still gave her a tip out of courtesy because I’m sure she’s been busy all morning.It would have been more courteous if you would’ve just told me that you can’t fit me in at the time I asked for vs. misleading me into thinking my appointment would be on time and then have me wait that long as if I was a walk in.

My first time at Lavender Day was incredible. I was treated with care, and felt like a VIP. The pedicure and nails came out fantastic. The aroma of lavender filled the air, made me relax. This is a full service Spa, Lashes, massage, blow outs, nails and facials. I expect to continue to make this my go to day spa. The treatment they provided left me in awe. Thank you Lavender!

My original review from 4 weeks ago, where I highlighted the issues about having the actual nail techs we requested during scheduling was heard. I am disappointed that I had to take this route to get my point across after speaking to the male co-owner. I truly felt my words fell on deaf ears, so I took to Google. The female co-owner took notice, and since then, we have had the nail techs we requested.Nail tech Vanessa provides exceptional service to my husband for his mani/pedi. She is always smiling and takes great care to provide the best service.The day I gave feedback to the male co-owner, I had the best pedicure I have ever had from Kaly. I tried reassuring her to let her know my comments werent about her...Fast forward to today, and the usual nail tech I had requested was on vacation, which I knew ahead of time. So, I made my appointment today with Kaly. She was amazing, and I told her and Atina that I want to switch to Kaly going forward.While Kaly was not originally available at my appointment time, the owner and Vanessa made sure once she finished with her client, I was next.My husband and I see the change, and we truly appreciate the change.We will be booking massages and facials for our upcoming wedding anniversary, and we cant wait.We both look forward to seeing Vanessa and Kaly every two weeks on Sundays at 4pm! They are fabulous and they remind us of the wonderful nail salon we used to go to in P.G. before we moved back to my hometown 5 months ago.To the owners: thank you for hearing my message. Lavender is always my 1st go to for my mani/pedi and this time I wanted to try out their hair services and got a cut/style/ blow out by Trisha. With their new inside look and fast checkin process/kiosk was even more nicer. I was really happy with my hairstylist Trisha and even gave me pointers. I made an appt to see her again in 2 weeks. The staff are always very a knowledgeable and nice- love Kelly for my nails and now love Trisha and so happy to meet her.

Just tried something new in the area and was blown away by the outstanding service and amazing spa packages at Lavender day spa.Everything is conveniently all in one place - newly renovated, super clean, with an incredibly friendly staff. 💆‍♀️Definitely found my go-to spot! This place is amazing! I had a scalp massage and a facial today and I almost fell asleep because it was so relaxing. The Spa had a nice ambiance and the customer service was incredible. My daughter had a pedicure and they took great care of her. I can’t wait to come back.

Me and my mom went here for facials and it was a lovely experience! Although we had only booked for one online, the estheticians were flexible and found a way to see us at the same time. They created a very soothing atmosphere and we left feeling refreshed and without the usual redness. We will definitely be coming back.

This was the best salon I’ve been to in a long time. I was a walk-in and I was still seated and helped so quickly. All the staff were kind and attentive. The salon itself is clean, classy, and comforting. And the service itself was also wonderful! I got a gel mani/pedi and the nail tech was careful with my hand injury. I can’t wait to go back.

A friend of mine told me about this spa, and how nice everyone was. I had a pedicure today. Done by Kaly. She really paid attention to detail, a very nice massage. She herself was very pleasant. The whole staff seemed to be also. If You’re looking for a beautiful, clean new place to go to I highly recommend. I will be back.

I took my mom in for a pedicure and she was very impressed. I believe the woman that did her pedicure was named Thuy. She did a fantastic job. We will be back and I do recommend this place.

Sister booked me the “I love you mom” Mother’s Day package.$130 2 hrs and 15 mins. body massage mani/pedi. arrived at 12 where there were 4 others waiting for services and 4 people in line to pay. my first time there acter checking in I waited for 20 mins.Pedi: receptionist soaked my feet while I waited for 15 mins for Nail tech vanasa. I had gel on my toes so she had to use the machine to remove the top layer And used a liquid substance to remove the rest. chemicals burns and irritates the skin if left too long She didn’t even remove all the polish on the sides. She cut my nails, filed alittle, buff and only remove the cuticle from a few of my toes. She cut too deep when she cut the side of one of my toes leaving the side of my nail feeling sore. Then ask what service I wanted I told her I was there for whatever the I love you mom package covers and she looked at her service list like she was confused what services is included.started talking in their language to coworker . evan came by asked her how long she’s gonna be she said 15 mins then rushed the process, she assumed I wanted gel polish because that’s what she removed since she already applied the polish and started the light I figure okay whatever I’ll pay the extra. She painted nails 3 coats cause she said it will look better since color is so light, it looks thick. Instead of her using polish remover to remove the excess polish in the skin she used her nail and smeared it off as best she could. Or filed the skin to remove in. She put the polish OVER the cuticles she didn’t remove which made the polish look ugly and different from my other toes. And she uses her nail to hold ur toe down while applying the polish but her nail digs into the skin. massage was barely even that was not relaxing she was rushing to get to another appointment and didn’t use the hot towels to wipe down my legs feet. She asked if I wanted paraffin which I would have loved to have I asked if it was included in package and if not what it cost. Instead of answering my question she just said oh never mind. she was complaining abt how busy it was and she was tired. And even said oh I’m spending too much time on you the other person is already done. I hate to complain so I just let it all go.Mani: nail tech spring Waited abt another maybe 10 mins spring was nice and friendly we had some small talk. She removed the gel polish with the machine cut my nails down short removed the cuticle from all my nails and buffed them. Wiped my arms and hands down with A warm towel. And then I was done. I asked for no polish as I’m going back to work soon and can’t have color in my nails.Massage: NOT DONE…. waiting for abt 10 mins in reception area. I heard Evan tell someone else that her mom’s massage had to be rescheduled because they didn’t have time even though they had a 130 appt. It was already 2:15 at this time my appt was 12. Technically I should be abt done with all three services I was only done with two. Evan told me he did not know how much longer I’d need to wait Kpp because they are very busy and short staff because two people called in and they had to move there appointments around to accommodate those clients. He seemed surprised when I told him my appt was 12 and it’s 215 and only had part of services done. He offered me a discount for my pedi since I was not happy and for me to return for my massage at a less busy time. This is not a good impression. Why even make an appointment. I understand ur busy and don’t have enough staff things come up. But when I arrived I should have been told that so I can decide if I still wanted services or not. I told him I probably won’t return. He removed the charge for my pedi and I just pay for the mani. After I got home I noticed the gel polish was not even removed all the way. Not worth the wait spent 2 hrs 15 mins for mani/pedi that was not relaxing, done properly, and unprofessional. I really wanted to like this place as the ambiance is nice and most are friendly. Wish it was a better outcome!

Went in for a quick nail polish change, received excellent customer service. Everyone was super nice. Will definitely be back to try their other services.

A bright voice answered, made my appointment & even sent a text to confirm! I was pleasantly surprised! When I arrived, we spent a couple of luxurious hours thoroughly enjoying my reasonably priced Mani & Pedi. Gone were the hostile angry managers & staff! Gone was the darkness, clutter, & finance breaking ugly and incorrect Feng Shui. In place was Light emanating from everywhere! From the kind eyes of the nail technicians to the reception staff, accommodating of my partial hearing disability. Newly designed reception area sharing the new additions of Hair Spa services never felt so welcoming!I had since two years prior ceased going to this location as the previous management had been rude, angry, and disrespectful towards me.

My second time getting a deep tissue massage from Nora, and first time doing the head spa. My friend did a head spa and massage with Nora’s sister Kady. Both were fantastic and we left feeling very relaxed. My friend and I have gone to a few head spas in San Jose and agreed this has been the best one so far. The 45 min massage before completely relaxed and loosened up our muscles, then we got a facial with 4 different washes and moisturizers, then the head spa with a great scalp scrub and massage!

I have been a customer with Lavender for 15 years. I am so excited for the new look and new ideas coming.I visited today and was greeted with the same friendliness and Lisa took care of making my nails ready for the new year. They look GREAT and she was very thorough.The new paint and open space, along with new lights and items at the work stations look great. I am glad to see the same familiar faces working there and I will absolutely continue coming to Lavender!

Kaly does an amazing job on nails and waxing . I highly recommended her . She has been doing my nails for about 12 years and have never had any complaint. The new ownership has made some nice improvements to the place 💛

They cut my hands and the nails are really curvy and look like witch nails. There were bubbles in the nails. When you do French nails you can literally can see your nail like you put clear nail polish and they seemed really annoyed when you didn’t move the right way right away. They kept telling me to not talk to my friend. They couldn’t do a flower cause they didn’t know how but tell my friend they didn’t have the proper equipment.

I finally found a day spa that I love my nails have never looked better. The environment is warm and inviting the staff goes above and beyond to make sure they do a great job.Cleanliness is top priority. Everything was clean. I will drive from San Jose just to get here.

This is the worst fullset i have recieved. I asked for square french tip & she left white lines that you can clearly see on the clear acrylic. Instead of square she made round corners. Yet, she charged $60 when i DO NOT pay that amount for a better job. This is what i get for trying to save gas & not go to Hollister where ive always gone

The Lavender staffs were very friendly, the service was excellent. The place is very nicely decorated. I felt very relaxed and enjoyed the time there. Our technician was talkative and greeted with humor. I came from out of town and she welcomed us with many interesting hilarious jokes and made me feel like a family member. I love Lavender Day Spa in Gilroy, CA. I have been going to this spa for years. It is clean, and it is a relaxing experience (compared to going to other salons Ive been too).The nail technicians usually dont talk loudly across the salon, and they are kind (unless you arrive at the end of day). They also do a great job. They listen to your desires and do their best to achieve them. I tell them in the moment too, and they will adjust their service. Most of the nail technicians have worked there for years. Since they always do a good job, I always tip them 20% of the service.I have also had massages at Lavender, and every massage Ive had has been good to great! I look forward to getting another one now that there is a new owner, and he is hiring a couple (I think he said).The spa has just been spruced up with a fresh coat of paint and new decor. It looks pretty and modernized. It is very spacious and airy, as there is now less furniture, fixtures, and small items for sale in the lobby area.The previous owner Kim retired and sold it. The new owner is Evan. Overhearing chatter in the salon, it appears that he is a part of a group of realtors who have bought the salon and who will run it. They also have a luxury AirBnB for rent in Gilroy on Day Road.Evan is a nice guy and open to feedback. If you write a review and show it to a nail technician or him when you are there, you will get 20% of your services. When I asked if they will honor SpaFinder gift cards, he said he’d look into it. SpaFinder is a way to buy/give and use gift cards to pay for spa services.I am rating Lavender with 4-stars because I do love this salon and think it is the best one in Gilroy. Ive tried many, and I always come back to Lavendar.With that said, I dont think it is a 5-star salon when compared to some salons that I have been to in other cities and states that arent in a busy shopping center and facing the parking lot. Some of those salons are a whole other experience from the reception, decor, space, greeting, services, towel services, and privacy. Some of those I would truly rate 5 stars.I dont take photos of my nails very often, so I dont have any to post. If I find any on my phone, Ill add them later (if I can).

My wife and I had a date. We started at the Lavender Day Spa. The front desk was very friendly.We were seated right away and offered us fresh cold water. Everyone was very friendly. The pedicure were amazing finish off with foot massge.The decor was probably the best for a spa around gilroy. Ill definitely recommend Lavender Spa. Make sure to make an appointment as they do get busy. In addition, they took their time and didnt try to rush you out the door like the other places do.

I have been going to Lavendar Day Spa to get manicures and pedicures for years and have always been very happy with the service provided. Everyone who works there is very kind and friendly, in addition to doing excellent work. Kaley and Vi are my go-to’s and are quite talented with their nail art as well. Occasionally, I’ve used their massage and waxing services which have also been good. Additionally, the salon is kept neat clean.

Came to Gilroy for wine tasting at Tuscany Escape and stopped by this lovely and relaxing day spa. Nice and clean and excellent service that they provided. Feeling a totally new amazing self after all the pampering services that they offered. Highly recommended and will definitely come back!

Just had my first time experience with them. For the same amount of 60$, i have seen better manicure and pedicure treatments. They work in a hurry to finish the job.. incomplete pedicure... Not much good treatment ... Better places are available to get better treatment.

Went in to get my nails done today and was not happy at all. My skin underneath the nails was cut up and bleeding. They are so sore now. They were also laughing at me because my english is not perfect. I speak spanish and was trying to use my translator and they just laughed at me. I also got a pedicure and they left me a mark on my big toe. Went back with my husband so he could explain better what happen and they just insisted they were fine. Also the acrlic didnt even go all the way to my cuticle. My nails looked liked they still needed a fill. I am a business owner and i know this is not how you run a business. Please dont go here.

Rush Rush! Not the experience a day spa should be providing on a nice Saturday morning. Booked a full body massage for wife. The lady answering the phone was snarky and in a hurry. She said noon. I graciously said thank you so much and confirmed twelve? and she said, I told you noon so yes thats 12. After seeing several reviews also suggesting this place rushes their service I called back nicely and said, Id like to cancel an appt I just made for my wife please. It seems like you are in a hurry and I- then the lady cut me off, said thank you and hung up the phone rudely. An extra star for same day availability which is a plus but rude snarky rushed attitude. Poor customer service. 2 stars is more than fair. Look elsewhere.

Ive only posted a few reviews in my life for an organization/ company. This is my first negative one. Initially, I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the salon. My friend asked for a Sweet Chocolate pedicure that is listed on their website and she was ignored twice by the nail tech. My friend and I received the basic gel pedicure with no UV light. We assumed being ignored was due to the fact that a couple more customers had walked in and the techs were too busy.???When I went to get my manicure I was SCOLDED by the nail tech (who seemed to be the owner) to relax my hands multiple times. I have never had this problem with another nail tech any where else. After the nail tech told me No! You need to stop helping me the second time I finally spoke up and said I am not trying to help you. Once I responded, she became angry and started tossing files, polish, etc. around. I was so confused!She may have been having a bad day, but this was the worst experience Ive had. Not relaxing at all.

My husband booked the perfect getaway package for me, scheduled at 9am on Sunday. Except.... they dont open at 9am, they opened at 9:30 (on the door it says 10 though). He had already prepaid (they told him the package was 185, but on their website and their list price in store it says 165) he left a small tip, so 200 total.The facial was nice, the massage was relaxing, the Mani Pedi felt quick but was okay. At the end the lady told me my husband had paid for already but hadnt left any tip. (He checked, he was charged 200), I left 20 and maybe it was just me but the lady at the desk acted like it was too little.It was nice, but after being lied to about prices and tipping, I wont be back.

The Rose pedi was very pleasing. The pedi was good but the polish was coming off in the store and the redid it but 1 day later the polish was wearing off and looked terrible. Dont know if I will go back. I have not liked how I was treated by the cashier the last 3 times I was there. This time she was very rude.

Ive come to this place a few times and the service was always just ok. Today is the last time I come here. My technician only took 10 minutes on my pedicure and rushed through the processed. She literally spent 20 seconds exfoliating both of my legs and didnt even take her time cutting off my dead skin and only dipped the nail polish brush once when applying my top coat to cover all toes in one foot! Lol please avoid this place. It seems that if the owner isnt present they do not provide good customer service.

I bought a couple getaway package and the service was going great till the end. The package comes with a manicure pedicure. The lady who did my manicure start to finish 10 min max. When I paid the lady said we like cash tip and I said ok. I knew I didn’t a lot of cash but I figured it was still decent for the mani pedi. When I pulled out my cash she said her customers tip at least 15% for the entire package. I always tip my nail lady but Ive never had a message therapist ask for a tip. I was appalled. She picked up my cash and set it aside rudely because it wasn’t to her liking. People need to remember tips are OPTIONAL and not everyone carries a lot of cash. If you want more money raise your prices.It ruined the entire experience. So sad because we had talked about going back for mother’s day.

First and last time going there . They didn’t even take more than 10 min on my pedicure , didn’t ask which one I wanted and made my wait over 30 min for a manicure. By that time I was over it and left . I obviously didn’t leave a tip and the lady that rang me up got mad at me bcus if that and didn’t hand my my credit card but threw it on the counter at me with attitude. Never again!

Love this place!! Always the highest level of cleanliness, the technicians provide great service and very nice. The owner, Kim, is always friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel special. I have been going here since they opened- probably over 20 yrs. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

Never will go back again! The owner rudely looked down at my toes and said, You really should come in once a month. She just stood there and didnt offer to put me with a technician. I asked her if she would prefer I go somewhere else. She said, Its up to you. What she didnt know was that I was in a bad accident and had to heal from severe bruising on my knees. I lost a week working, had stitches. The gal who did my last pedi at Lavendar, cut my large toe so far down, I had pain for 2 weeks. I did not have that much outgrowth. I left and went to Beauty Ave on First St. and they said my feet looked fine and gave me the best Pedi and service Ive ever had. Owner of Lavendar was very judgemental. As I left, I told her I wont be sending in my family members to get me gift certificates here anymore. Also, watch out when they drop items on the floor and try to use it back on your feet. Thats an OSHA violation. That happened twice to me and luckily I stopped them in time. They also use the large grater to shave off the callouses off your feet. I was told they are illegal to use. Customers at Beauty Ave., (near Safeway), told me the owner at Lavendar really is hard and tough on her staff members. Everyone said my feet looked fine. The owner also didnt know I was using a foot soak each night before I walked into the appt. as in consideration for an easy pedi. SHE WAS RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. I had a bad accident and needed to heal. If you notice, not many staff members smile at this place. Its a negative atmosphere.

Shirley gave me a great haircut. Nice place, clean and friendly. Dont get my hair cut to often, but I will definitely be going back. They do waxing, pedicure and spa treatments to.

I find most of the workers to be very good but this is always dependent on personal choice. In a large shop such as this one it is a bit more difficult to establish a 1-in-1 relationship. Appointments can be made but I get the feeling they almost prefer that you just walk in. Usually not much of a wait at all.

Great place if youre into quickies. Notice to color street users.... Lavender Nail Salon would not do my manicure because of my color street nail polish. What a joke and uneducated response.

We received a gift certificate for Christmas and our experience was horrible. They cut us and when they did they TRIED TO PUT THE SKIN BACK ON!!! Not only that, they pushed so hard on our cuticles that they turned black. They placed the nail dryer on TOP of my nail and nearly messed it up. They talked to each other the whole time in a different languages and we felt like we were being talked about. Didnt feel very welcomed or relaxed I felt more tense then relaxed. We didnt have a good time.

This is my favorite place to get a massage I love it and they do the best pedicures in Morgan hill hands down my favorite place these ladies work hard and the wonderful woman who does my massages always takes care of me

Love the facials. I have cystic acne that I have battled for years and after one facial here my skin cleared in one day and I got no new blemishes for an entire month. Their facials have become my monthly self care routine.

Well if youre looking to get in n out this is the place. But I didnt see them clean a tub after one customer left and another came. Probably just oversight. The shorter older lady with what appear to be reading glasses did my pedicure and it wasnt good. Unfortunately I will might not come back.

If you want to be profiled, over charged, and have your nails basically sabotaged...this is the place for you. I will never ever spend my money here, again. At least it LOOKS nice.

I called twice to make an appointment. First they put me on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up called back and I asked if I can make appointment they said just come on in and seemed very frustrated with me. I then came in later that evening and they said they couldn’t serve me because they do appointments only! I won’t try to even give them my business anymore!

Asked for a body massage, the lady she was busy and to come back later. I said sure, what time? she said she didnt know. I felt like I was in the twilight zone.

Ive been to this salon several times and continue to go because of their service. When they are busy, plan on waiting for awhile even if they seat you at a station.

HORRIBLE! Bad service does not ask you what kind of pedicure you want, they are rude and angry if you do not tip, junk place I would never recommend

The place is super nice and they are friendly but the owner of the Spa was the one who took care of me, she gave me a pedicure in 10 minutes and painted my nails horribly, it looks like a 6 year old girl did it! I dont fly.
