My husband purchased the Royal package Spa Day for me and it was the best experience and spa day! SO RELAXING, all staff was professional and kind, clean salon, owner is super friendly and fun. I was offered water throughout the day and a free salad at the end of the sessions. My experience was a 10/10. Thanks guys, I left feeling absolutely amazing 🩷

Fave place in town by far! Get your massage by Jenn and you’ll be hooked for life! She’s so knowledgeable and super helpful with all things body related. Love all their services but REALLY love the massages.

This was my first visit and first massage. Made an appointment over the phone with no difficulty. Straightforward info about process and pricing. The experience was wonderful and had me check off my self care for the month. I went with a friend and she said it was worth a repeat as well.

I made 2 appointments about 2 weeks ago for 2 Royal Spa Packages (massage, facial, mani and pedi) for my husband and myself. We arrived on time at 9 am and was in desperate need of all the services mentioned above.Idk exactly what happened nor do I care but my husband went back for a massage and I had to wait. This was also suppose to be a couples massage. I sat the ENTIRE TIME he was in his massage. They never once offered me even a water!! When his massage was done we left they were like dont you wanna do the facials? No we dont!We are done thank you. We drove an hour for these appts. We will never return. My husband who has cancer just wanted some down time for the both of us and we got screwed over. Full price had to be paid for the massage which was good per my husband. But yall not even a WATER! We will not be back. No discount for another day nothing. So incredibly unprofessional!!!

I bought my wife a whole day at the spa, which included a massage. Overall the day went well, except for the massage. My wife chose the quiet massage so she could just relax. The lady giving the massage proceeded to complain about everything for the entire time. She talked about how she hates Lufkin and the drivers dont know how to merge, especially the straight, white, men drivers. She apparently thinks that southern accent makes people sound stupid so she tries really hard to get rid of hers? This went on for the entire time. Needless to say my wife was not impressed.In what world would someone think this unprofessional and hateful behavior is acceptable at a day spa for relaxing. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and views but keep them to yourself when youre supposed to be in a professional environment.I didnt want to post a review before trying to resolve the issue with the owner. I called to talk to her and was told that she was gone for the day and would get in contact with me. Two business days later....nothing.

Stephanie Smith did the best job on my hair I’ve ever had done. She was nice and let me talk as much as I wanted. If I could give her an 11/10 I would. Thank you!!

I started coming a few months ago and I keep coming back because they have excellent customer service. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I absolutely loved my massage and facial! I will definitely be back and plan to join their VIP monthly thing. I will say though, their pedicure, even being deluxe, is nothing too special. There are some things I wish would’ve been done. But every other service and the atmosphere are amazing!

I scheduled an appt for a massage using a gift certificate. It was my first time here. Morning chaos set in and I confused my 2pm appt for 9am. They were very graceful and accommodated by getting me in with someone who was free. Both Maricela and my tech, Sophia were great. I’ll be a repeat customer.

Everything about Maricelas Day Spa was perfect. The owner is a wonderful person. She gave me the best pedicure and manicure that Ive ever received! She has hired a wonderful staff who really take pride in their work! I will tell everyone I know to go there!

I booked a spa day for my wife for Mother’s Day. She had never been so I thought this would be a great experience. She hurt for the next 4 days and could barely move. She told the lady repeatedly to ease up on the pressure. She said the woman never did listen to her and would only say well I’ve gotta get these “adhesions”. Far as the mani/pedi it was a waist of $$ soon as she got in the car she showed me her nails where they were already chipped. For a place you hear so much about on the radio it was a joke. The worse first massage experience my wife said. Take your money else where because it completely ruined the Mother’s Day experience.

Ive had lots of massages, but today was my first time going here. I definitely plan to go again. I left feeling so much better and it was because of Jenn! She did an amazing job. Go see her - you wont be disappointed!

I just had my first professional massage by Jenn at Maricela’s Day Spa and I cannot recommend her enough! She talks you through everything she is doing and educates you on the importance of massage’s. As a dental assistant of 3 years constantly bending over all day, this was much overdue! Thank you Jenn!

This was my first experience with Maricelas. I had a full body massage with Karrie. She was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend her and Maricelas.

Ive only ever gotten massages here so idk about the other services. But I can say everyone Ive encountered has been nice and professional. The masses are absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. Jen and Janora are great.

I absolutely love everything about Maricelas from the staff to the building. Poy was my massage therapist and this was absolutely the best massage I ever had.

I have been going to Maricela for over thirty years! I currently drive four hours to have Maricela do my nails! Many times when I’ve gone to other spas, I’ve gotten infections. I have never had an infection from Maricela!It is a clean, happy, relaxing place!I have never heard anything critical about Maricela’s Spa, and I’ve never even heard of many of these people posting such horrible reviews! I’m very sorry, Maricela!Maricela is a hard-working Christian lady! She is honest, trustworthy and very reliable! She and her mother see to it that the shop and all supplies are clean and disinfected properly! She has built this business single handed!Maricela deserves respect not these fictitious complaints!

Really expensive for what it is. If you’re going to go for anything, go for the massage,10/10! Ask for Jen (I think that was her name?). I hate to be negative! I just did not feel the quality of the facial that I paid for was fantastic. My skin didn’t feel any different, and no one could/would explain what their treatments were, it almost felt too simple to be a facial. Again, hate to be negative, but it felt not worth the price and I could get the same result from a store mask. For reference, this is not my first facial I’ve had done before.On professionalism, I felt that was lacked as well. They called several times to change plans with us, which was confusing. My mom was told by them she’d be able to get a facial (for her birthday!), but when we showed up, they said the woman doing facials was all booked and my mom wouldn’t be able to get one and couldn’t be accommodated (sorta glad she didn’t get the facial anyway, considering). No other accommodation or apology was offered for the inconvenience and my mom had to wait 2 hours while I got my stuff done. Reminder, this was her birthday.Rated 2 stars because of the massage. -3 stars for everything else. Jen was educated and made me feel extremely comfortable! But I would not come back to this spa.

The Facials are relaxing and the Microdermabrasion helped my skin so much. The music has you in instant serenity and the comfortable feeling has you wanting to stay! I loved this spa great massages, facials and pedicures. This became my home for a few months while I was in town. I travel a lot for work and have to say Marcielas was the best day spa I’ve ever been. It’s family owned and they made u feel very special and took great care of u. I know if I’m ever close by I will def book a day worths of pampering. Keep up all ur great work.❤️

I wish my daughter would have gotten the name of the women that greeted her this morning 4/20/2019 as she came in to get her massage and pedicure that she had made the appointment for last week. Your employee laughed in her face, basically called her a liar and ruined what should have been a relaxing peaceful Saturday morning. Her actions have spoiled anyone in my family returning. How awful to make someone feel so bad and not offering any type of resolution. She could have said they made a mistake in scheduling, find out who made the mistake...anything but laugh in her face and dismissing her.

Had the pleasure of receiving a deep tissue massage from Jenn. Environment was very relaxing along with clean space. Jenn was by far the best masseuse I’ve come across thus far, me and the fiancé will definitely be back.

Terrible. both my nails and toes were cut too short, uneven and was overall a very sloppy job. I had polish on the skin around my toenails and some with barely any polish applied on my whole nail. the polish was clumpy and not smoothly applied. as for my nails there was barely any polish applied to any and started chipping the next day. $70 for a full set of nails and a pedicure? not bad but for them not offer anything other than shellac or polish is ridiculously overpriced.

Roxy is the best stylist in town. Relaxed atmosphere, great location.

I would like to say that this is an amazing salon, I’ve been really excited to come here for a long time. My mother bought me a gift certificate for a massage and pedicure so I could have some pampering for my birthday. I called and made my appointment woke up got ready came to the shop and the shorter older woman running it told me she couldn’t work me in today she stated I didn’t have an appointment and laughed in my face when I told her I was upset. I told her I could get my calendar out and show her where I wrote it down. She just talked over me the entire time and kept laughing at me. When I started walking away she told me she would just give me my money for the certificate and told me to “go have somewhere else”. I will never try again to come to this Salon. 👎🏻

My friends and I visited the day before my wedding for a Spa Day. It was wonderful. We enjoyed all of the services. Everyone was very nice and accommodating.

Went in for a mani/pedi. She graded my big toe until it almost bled, and hurried through it petting my feet and legs with the tips of her fingers. Talk about lazy. If youre going to charge for a service, you should provide it.She clipped my cuticles so far up I was wincing in pain and fear and couldnt wait until it was over.I overhead the lady that owns it being rude to several people including her own employees.What a nightmare!!!

I recently bought my mother a $100 gift certificate to this spa. I spoke with her last night and she stated she hated to tell me but the spa technician was rude, the quality of work was terrible and she didnt feel comfortable going back for further services.

Maricela and her staff are extremely friendly. Ive only been there twice, but each time they treat me like family. I will definitely be going back.

They dont know how to do an inverted Bob correctly. I wanted a bubble in the back and they cut straight in the back. No dimention or layers.
