It wasnt bad for a Friday night however they need a new dj because them transitions and fading made no sense. Wed be viking but suddenly the music stops and new song. No moving us into the new part just start the vibe over.

I was on the dancefloor with my friends when a guy came up behind me and smacked my butt repeatedly. The staff patrolling the floor were nowhere to be seen so we went to the bouncers at the front. When I told a group of 4+ bouncers what happened, they told me to let the staff on the floor know. They wanted ME to go back on the floor and made no effort to help or identify the guy. I wish I told others dancing to look out. Floor sticky, pool table and bathroom disgusting, music inconsistent and poorly ordered. Not going back.

While my friends and I were dancing a man came up and started smacking my friends butt. There were no workers around to see this. After trying to find a worker on the dance floor we went to the workers at the front and told them what happened. They asked us to repeat the story several times before telling us that they weren’t going to do anything because they didn’t witness it themselves. Several workers came up to hear this story and no one was willing to do anything about this man. Absolutely disgusting.

Great for young 18+ fun great music. Everyone seems nice and enjoys themselves. Walking distance to Central Michigan college. Fast food right next door. Good parking. College kids love it here. Serves alcohol too

Horrible place to visit. Bouncers are rude. They take your money then they throw you out as soon as you enter. You pay $40 for a pauly D ticket then show up 2 hours early just to get thrown out because they can’t control their crowd. Maybe sell less tickets next time. I didn’t drink at all either as I am under 21 so I didn’t get kicked out for drinking. Definitely would recommend going to any other club. Lansing has better clubs than this. If looking at going to a celebrity guest here, look else where. Would rather drive to Ohio than spend my money here. Not worth it.

Whenever anyone tells me that they want to go to Wayside, I groan. This place is the opposite of fun. Every single time I come, the bouncers are extremely rude for no reason at all. The music is always terrible. The security is also rude and the bathrooms are god awful. Do not waste your money here, there are much better places to go.

The staff are the most idiotic people I have ever met, I held my friend’s drink so no one would drug her while she went to the bathroom and they took away her $12 drink when she literally just paid for it and took 1 sip. So sad with how disprespectful they are.

I really liked this club, the dance floor is awesome and even has a pair of cages you can go and dance in/on. The place was pretty judgmental free when I went. Had a great time, staff was pretty chill too. One guy even gave us a couple bucks to get a ride home 🤙🏼👍🏼 It wasn’t too busy when we went, but I will definitely go back during a busier time (Fridays)

Place is awesome. DJ is sweet, drinks are fire and an overall good atmosphere.

Definitely a place for a younger crowd between 18 - 22 yrs old. The ground does get sticky and a bit dirty but that’s only because of the crowd of people that goes there, not the staff’s fault. However, a fun place to go with friends if you’re up for a night of dancing!

It was terrible. I went there for $1.25 pints and the place was packed but it was packed with children. Some of them didnt even look like they were old enough to drive. I was swarmed the whole night by teenagers asking me to buy them beer. Also the DJ was really bad. There were no transitions between songs, it was like when you go to someones house and they keep skipping songs and they say oh, I have music ADD, like isnt mixing and beat matching a really important part of being a DJ? I might try out OKellys on the other side but this place is not for anyone over 21.

The bouncers need to do their job better, people smoking indoors, I told one guy to take it outside and he got super angry and tried to fight me. Music could use some work, but it was loud, good beat, drinks are average priced for a club. Just a dirty place, drink cups everywhere, they need more staff. Place was packed by the end of the night, it was hot and I was glad to leave. Defently tell theres a younger immature crowd here.

Come here often for past 3 years, much better experiences elsewhere but still come here as i enjoy the mix of club an bar with mostly friendly staff. One staff in particular litteraly ignored me for 40 minutes to 1 hour, going outside of her respected side of the bar into her coworkers side of patrons to even ignore me an one other guy. I asked after the wait when everyone besides me and this other guy if we could get a drink. Preceded to be cursed at an told to wait longer despite every other side had 3 individuals per side (like 15-17) come through before despite us being there first. Complained to the manager about the disrespect an vulgar behavior of then said bartender. Hopefully a strike or something else occurs because no one should be treated like that at all.

Changing my review to 1 star. I went for the 3rd time last night & I was curious as to what the O’Kelly’s side had to offer so I walked over there and the bouncer tried to tell me my ID was fake. He was also super rude about it and put x’s on my hands. I told him he could scan it or do whatever and he threatened to call the cops so I was like please do because it’s literally not fake. I’m from Atlanta and I have literally never been turned away from a bar ever, even when my license picture was older and didn’t look like me. I ended up having to get one of the bouncers from wayside to walk over with me to tell them that it wasn’t fake.

Ended up driving from caro with some friends after seeing it was open we get there and the parking lot is empty and the doors are shut. We go to see if its open (mind you it says its open on this very app) and the doors are locked. Little did we see the sign WHICH you cant see from the road telling us that here on a Thursday the first day of August that they werent open and switched to Summer hours which are NOT listed here. So we wasted gas and time to come have fun for it just to be a turn around back home.

This has become the wife and I’s go to when we want to dance. Small dance floor that’s hardly cleaned, but get there early on Saturday and no one will get in your way.

I walked in here drunk as ever with $80 in my wallet and the bouncers gave me my exact change. No odd smell. HOWEVER, the Friday DJ plays the same music every week, BORING! I will not be going again because of this. Literally the same playlist since last year.

Charged me over a 100 dollars for 2 people to get in didnt see till after I left overdrafted my account, Im going to sue

Let underage girls in. Who are drinking while posting it on social media. And then girls drive home. Clearly the girls are using fake id but if you can’t tell them they are fake then you need to get better security.

This is definitely a collage bar. It is connected to okellys bar. That is a great bar. Great food. And a great management staff. Can get a little bit crazy when college is in town.

Avoid this, unfortunately it isnt the place it once was. Not only is it swarmed with teenagers but the bouncers are incapable of their jobs and they allow pit-pocketers on the dance floor. During my last (and final) visit, my wallet was stolen from me.

The only good thing about Wayside was being able to leave. Its messy, smell like puke, and they let any age in. Dont go here, and dont ever buy the girls drinks they are most likely underage.

They are extremely inconsiderate of their neighbours. They always play music so loud on Saturday nights that it cuts across multiple neighbourhoods.

I was here a few years ago with a friend of mine and I thought the place looked kind of bad with bad people, bad look. For college kids it might be great but if you are an older person, this may not be the place for you.

Its definitely not a fun place to chill. The three or four times Ive gone, there was a fight and people were getting way too drunk.

Terrible security and creeps everywhere

You need to update your website. Youre not open on all the days that you say you are and the times are wrong. Misleading for someone visiting from out of town.

Horrible place grown men in there 30s-40s in there just to pick up young. Girls should be a age limit.

Will never go to this place again. Place was very filthy dirty floor was sticky and so were tables and stools were wobbly.

Scientist should study the floor to develop a super adhesive, because nothing should be that sticky.
