The M Room Sports Pub

Were here from Florida so were trying to get used to how different things are in this area. It took a couple months before knowing this bar exists in this town. Weve been on a Friday and a Saturday night now, they had live bands both times. Its entertaining, the crowd definitely has a fun time & we had fun watching. I dont know how many people in Newport & Palmyra like a club scene because its a very small crowd here & I believe the only bar in this area. Were just glad we found the M room, for now. Well go during the day to watch football & eat next time. I dont get how this is a sports bar yet they close at 8pm on Sunday, the biggest day for NFL games. Looks like its mostly a Fri night & Sat night bar. The bartenders werent very friendly, they didnt look happy to be there but it didnt make or break this place. It has potential if anyone cares... The staff?.. customers?... Im not so sure anyone does

Not too bad. The service is good. I wish the tables were a bit bigger, but I digress.

I love this place great environment if you have no friends you can make some if you want to. It also has great food and wonderful people working there. Prices are very reasonable please be safe and drink responsibly

After driving 200 miles my girlfriend and I decided it was time to stop and grab a bite to eat before finishing the last 70 miles. There was one woman working the bar, cooking and waitressing. Service was still fantastic and the food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be coming back everytime we come to visit the family.

The bartender jokes, best wings in Newport? No, understatement. Beyond Palmyra and Newport: the wings are the best Ive had in the state, at their price. This, and I was in a party who had some disputes with the employees over masks. Despite those circumstances, everyone was outstandingly polite to me which did not go unnoticed. Definitely worth a stop in and I will be back! Hopefully we can get some bands going soon.

The Bartender must have been having a really bad day. She was very hostile at our group because we showed up and she didnt plan on having enough food for the night. Snapped at all of us. Complained to us how we basically ruined her night. Are you kidding me? Our group always drops a few hundred dollars into the establishment when were there. When running a business you always have a plan if something comes up. Dont blame your paying customers for your faults. Be the bigger person and own it, its not a bad problem to have, at least youre getting the business in a global pandemic. Im not sure what her issue was with us but she needs to grow up, be more people friendly and not snap at customers bringing business to your establishment. Adjust the attitude or quit your job, just because YOUR miserable doesnt mean others need to be. Word gets around very quickly.

Considering it is the only bar in the vicinity I give them 5 Stars. Really is a great spot. Friendly barmaids and some really good bar food. Live music on weekends. Just reopened after the Stay at home orders so check to see if they will have live music yet. Karaoke is fun.

I perform here just about every Tuesday from 5 to 7 to practice and play for tips. Its a really fun, loose show. The owner is awesome, you should definitely check it out!

Good open space with a small but cozy dance floor and pool tables in the back. Clean bathrooms! Fair cover charge. Great band (Dakota). Bartender was really friendly even while being very pregnant! Comfortable and fun time here! Thanks!Cons: Mixed drinks are very weak for the cost, reuses customers own dirty glass for refills and shots are in plastic disposable glasses. Lighting in parking lot is VERY low.

Great place to watch the ga.e, especially when there isnt a band that as too loud to converse. Heidi was friendly and fun.

So I decided to come here after a long week of work on a Friday night. Extremely busy, but the bartender was on top of her game. Exceptional service, but when it came to getting food, it was horrendous. I asked a guy who walked past who came from the kitchen if I could ask a question and he said no. I was wondering on the status of my food that I had paid for (chicken nachos). After waiting an hour and 20 minutes I asked for a to go box, to only just learning my order was never put in. I was not i.pressed. The bar is great if you only want beer. But if you want food.....NOPE. DO NOT GO HERE FOR FOOD.Tldr: Bar is great for drinks only. Dont get food or you will wait a long time for it.

Owner,Heidi is a no nonsense person. You will feel right at home here though. I have enjoyed the locals company. Best customers money can buy. Dont go anywhere else. Everything you need is here.

This is a wonderful place to hold a private party! The atmosphere was very warm and the staff is very willing to help and accommodate all needs. The catered food service was fantastic! Thank you to Sarah and staff for a relaxed and beautiful day event.

It was busy as usual for a Wednesday. They have 50 cent wings and you got to plan for it. They are good about getting you in and out and they always treat you courteously. I go fairly often and always am satisfied with the results being as busy as they are.

Im so glad we have Miss Heidi.Especially the wing night its an awesome place to hang out and be with your family 6p department in Ware Maskes.. and your friends 6 feet apart

Bartender told me dead rats in the wall thats were the nasty smell is coming from. All set with that. The smell was to much for me to stay longer than 10 min and that was to long.

A nice place for entertainment, live local music, sport events on the tvs, pool tables, electronic darts and a little dance floor. There are tables as well as the bar to sit at.
