OYO Hotel Big Lake Hwy 137 TX

My Husband was traveling for work and stay here I call the place set everything up and yes it was after hours, But yall the Lady was so NICE and beyond helpful. I would love to drive the 12hr trip to stay and Thank her for everything she did over the phone and thru text messages. And yes he said the room was very clean and nice, so nice he sent me a video of it. He said it was Nice as a 5 star room. Only down fall he said was that the air wasnt on before he got there, but it cool off quick. I dont know who she was but she so saved his Night. Again Thank you so much maam..... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

First room they put me in has holes in the walls, only half the lights and fans worked. The room they moved me to only had a mini fridge, outside lights didn’t work and when I asked about it I was told that they just are broken and don’t work. The bathroom had water damage to the floor by the shower and the flooring was peeling up. Could smell the mildew and mold.When I checked in the front desk person was rude and snatched they old key out of my hand. The floor was so dirty it turned my socks black and the windows where left opened from either from the pervious tenant or a cleaning day.The online information states a kitchenette but it’s just a sink. If you’re lucky they will have a hot plate for you. Thankfully I had my own air fyer combo to cook what little food I could keep in the fridge.

Very quiet, and it felt very safe. Everything was comfortable. It was the closest hotel on our route, so that’s why I gave it 5 stars for location, but the town is very small.Two complaints—after I put my credit card info in on the OYO website, I was charged a different amount than quoted. It was maybe 15% more. Secondly, the lights outside the rooms are very bright, and there are no blackout curtains, so the room is bright at night.

Great place to stay. We are not from the area and were treated very great. Affordable and comfy! Will be staying again! We came in late and the staff was super nice!

Do not, I repeat DO not get a room here if you work second shift, they dont give a flying f about your schedule, I asked repeatedly that cleaning services please not wake me and they simply do not care. They have seen me asleep every fkn morning they open the door and they cannot get it through their thick heads to not knock early. I get in at 4 sometimes 6am and they come banging on my door at 9 sometimes 10am.

Tho located in a strange place, and looks a lil off being made of stacked shipping containers. The room was very nice new and clean. Cozy bed, with good A/C and satellite. Spacious bathrooms. Office is separate from hotel. Worth the money tho

I give this place 10 out of five. Very clean and nice people all whirlpool appliances they even give you laundry soap! For the price it’s a great deal if your working on the road or even needing a place to lay your head I recommend this place.

Awesome place to stay! I love the full size refrigerator and the wall between the beds adds a little privacy. Bathrooms seem brand new! Very affordable.

Dude, this place is nice af, but the service SUCKS! The room was so dirty that it turned my baby’s knees black (he’s a crawler) so I went to buy cleaning supplies. Then, the POWER WENT OUT! So, I called the office literally like 50 times, no answer. I went to the office THREE TIMES. NO ONE IS THERE! I literally walked I to the office & waited there for about 10 minutes & no one came. It has been almost 2 hours since the power outage & it is flaming hot for both me & my baby.

Best and pretty much only place to do laundry they have good machines and it is usually pretty clean here as well. Dryers dry fast! They also have a wash and fold service for people who are too busy or really arent the do it yourself type!

This is one of the best hotels Ive stayed at very friendly service.... they are awesome people they keep the rooms very clean and room service comes everyday and she is super sweet and Vincent is awesome anything that we have needed he has been on top of it he will literally go to the office just to get you what you need and he has a cool personality he genuinely gives what you want and doesnt seem bothered like most places I give him a 10 star recommendation
