Awful. I went in there to look for a gift for my daughter for her birthday. NO ONE Even Acknowledge that I was there. Never asked me for help nothing. So nevertheless I left empty-handed. And I was interested in something and no one even bothered to ask if I needed help. Terrible customer service.

I love 5J Music! Every time I go in there for something I have a look around. You never know what you might find. This most recent trip I found a Yamaha electric piano for a great price. Would definitely recommend this shop to everyone.

They have a lot of cool stuff from NFL Jerseys to Oil Burners to Marijuana pipes. Cheap and affordable. Go take a gander you wont be disappointed. The staff are awesome. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

Great place to find smoking/ vaping accessories, body jewelry, CDs, instruments, card and board games, incense as well as burners, and good selection of knives and swords. If they do not have it the owners will order it for you . They do guitar repair and tuning as well. I got my banjo tuned and fixed. He even gave me a discount and extra strings because it was a challenge for him.

This place has so much to offer musically and whimsically too! They have a lot great inventory and its such a warm vibe in the store. I have been very satisfied with all my purchases and I love the great customer service. Friendly👍

I always drive pass this shop. Havent been to this store but Ive called them several times looking for a keyboard teacher for my son and the person who picked the calls was very friendly and politely gave me all the information I need.I was asked to call by the end of this month and hopefully. But right now, I am still searching for a piano teacher in Elko anyways and will be glad to have someone assist with this. #NewinElkoOverall, I believe its a great place.

Love these guys... Very unique inventory from CDs and Vynil to NFL gear to musical instruments to Disc for Disc Golf to the latest smoking implements, CBD and Kratom. They even have body jewelry, hair dye in wild colors and a bunch of other things you cant find anywhere else.If you have a question about any of it... Ask! They are knowledgeable and helpful! Absolutely the best place in town for music lessons. I went in there for a guitar lesson and I learned more from the teacher than I could on YouTube. Definitely will come back for more lessons. Also, they have a pretty sweet assortment of posters.

I dont own a car and live on the east side of town by Albertsons. I walk down to 5js to get my tobacco and smoking accessories. After asking the other smoke shop in town if they would order the tobacco I like, and getting several sure, we should have it next week answers, I went to 5js. At the time, they didnt carry tobacco at all, but after asking if they would order the same type I was trying to get the other shop to order, the answer was the same. The difference was they took my name and number. I ended up (mistakenly) blowing them off, figuring Im getting the same run around. I ordered online and received it about 2 weeks later. Anyway, 2 days after I placed my order, I get a phone call, from a very curtious 5js staff member, informing me that my tobacco was in. He got the correct kind the first time. He orders it regularly, and I buy it from him exclusively, and other stuff as well, even though online was cheaper. I dont even ask him anymore. They are amazing. They earned a customer for life. 😊

I had an odd experience in here. Im obviously in my 50s, with more than a little gray hair. I walked in a few months back to check on the used LPs, of which they have more than a few, and on the CDs in the metal section. I may be oldish, but my musical preferences run to the modern, some of them bordering on the Satanic and definitely in the range of metallic and extremely heavy. Anyway, while I was scoping out the discs, each of the two ladies working there would come by separately to check on me every two or three minutes, asking me how I was doing and if I needed anything. After a while, I started to feel like a teen-aged boy who was being watched to make sure he wasnt shoplifting! In spite of this strange behavior, I ended up buying a couple of discs from the metal section and an LP that was in pretty good shape. It was just weird. I dont know, maybe they thought I was an undercover cop who was scoping out the teenagers buying bongs. Frankly, I dont care what people do in the privacy of their own homes, as long as theyre not hurting anyone other than themselves. Like I said, it was weird. I was thinking about taking guitar lessons, but now, I dont know if I want to do that here....

Everytime i go in there, Gerald and the rest of the staff are very helpful and friendly. If youre looking for something they may not have in stock, they will surely order it if possible.

As a professional musician in a small town, theres nothing more important to me than reliability and professionalism when it comes to the care of my instruments. For a number of years, I took my instruments to Salt Lake City or Reno to have them serviced, until the last year when I met Daniel. Daniel, the newest tech at 5J, is an absolute professional in every sense of the word. He knows his stuff, knows how to apply it, and knows, most importantly, how to diagnose and fix problems that otherwise make no sense to me. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and it feels like a family every time I come down. Ive never once been price gouged, and always know that if I were to have an issue for some reason with a service provided, 5J would make it right. 5J goes above and beyond for their musician clientele. As a musician, I highly recommend 5J for any kind of instrument/music needs.

I started picking up C.B.D. oil at 5J to fight my cancer, that I was told is terminal and nonoprative. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and cheer for me each time I come in for an update. So far I am betting this cancer and I believe its their C.B.D thats doing it.
