Tipsy Cow Bar Georgetown

Maybe we went here on an off night. The bar doesn’t have any beer on tap. It was the bartender’s first night working and she wasn’t familiar with what the bar had to offer. There was a musician but my husband and I were the only ones clapping and we weren’t sure if anyone else was listening. Someone suggested a canned beer to my husband and another person told him he would need a lime to drink it. It was true. There are two pool tables. A sign says they offer karaoke on Wednesdays. We were visiting from out of state so like I said maybe it was just an off night. The one positive was it was very inexpensive.

Went there because they had a menu serving food, but when I wanted to place an order I was told the kitchenware closed. Ordered a bucket of beer with a pop top and wasnt given a bottle opener so I had to go to the bar every time I wanted a bottle opened.

Went to watch the band and they were really good. Wasnt to crowded. The pool tables were alot of fun as well. There is 2 pool tables to play on

I love this place but the hours are NEVER correct. Used to call but started to trust the “updated by owner” hours and keep wasting trips.

Our hotel staff recommended this place as a dinner option. It seemed to be a decent bar but not the go-to place for dinner. The food was just ok.

Nice little spot, gets packed on the weekend, decent drink specials, they do get some solid entertainment.... Not a 5 star because drinking beer out of a plastic cup is no good, some bartenders/waiters have some lacking of customer service skills, was there once 30 minutes before happy hour ended and not only did the bartender not offer the happy hour it came with a trash attitude, management needs to teach a little more pr

Amazing bar, fantastic food, great service, the best bands, and gorgeous bartenders. Couldnt ask for a better location.

Was in town for a football game from out of state. Stopped in for a few drinks. Met some really great people. Bartenders name was Angle. She was awesome! Will definitely come back if were in the Georgetown area again!

Great bar. Great service. Clean. Live bands on Saturdays and a dance floor. Pool tables. Indoor corn hole. Fun place.

1st time in here. For first few hours was great. Went to see a Motown band. First set was Motownish and was enjoyable. Honey child was band name. One of staff even gave us a free drink since we were 1st timers. 2nd set of band not enjoyable at all. Was gangsta rap heavy set. Not my thing and most of the very heavy crowd started leaving. Then at a bit after midnight same guy who gave us the free drink ticket gets on mic. And says “ you have 20 minutes to pay tab, we are closing” website said band playing 9-1pm. My party had planned on 1 since we were drinking. Guy got on mic. Every few minutes counting down till close. Had to pay 10$ cover so expected more. Band was OK until set list change. Guy with mic. Was super annoying. Oh and we wanted to order food at just before 10- was told kitchen had just closed. No where can I find kitchen hours posted. Band started 9 and kitchen closed within the hour? Not good in my opinion.

Amazing drinks, best bar food around!

I enjoy the food and the people.I have yet to go to a college night or to see the live music that is posted as you eat lunch.You should maybe just go eat lunch there and see for yourself. There are a couple of old pool tables which changed my vibes as soon as I saw them ... I like this place yall should just go eat there.

This place is the real deal! The way its set up is perfect, seating is thought out and parking is ridiculously good. Staff works hard and I was very pleased with the food. Its a well rounded place with great bands that never fail to perform flawless. Tipsy Cow bar will be here for a long time if were lucky Lex!

Dont go if you want a seat. Walked in at 7pm. Place was 3/4 empty but every chair in the place, including bar stools, was reserved. Had planned to eat and drink, but wasnt going to do that standing in the middle of the floor. Stupid business decision on the part of the management.

This place is very homey, they welcomed us and it felt like we were regulars though this was the first time me and my partner had visited. The drinks were great and the food was great!!Definitely will be going back

The food is good, and the bartender was great. She was friendly, and when we told her that we were new in town, she told us about other places that were good to go to. We will definitely be going back.

Awesome place. Staff was super friendly, as were all the locals we met. Karaoke system was nice and the locals could really sing! Friendly, clean and evidently well-managed. Will definitely try the food next time were in town.

Good food , cold drinks, they got 2 pool tables and a microphone , sometimes its packed sometimes your the only one , but their are top notch up and coming bands that play their , quite the collection of pool players frequent that place..

It wasnt terrible. The problems were definitely out of the servers control, such as all of taps being out of commission. And them only accepting cash.I wanted to like it here. It seems like a nice place thats trying to stay afloat and I wish them the best.

Great little bar with nice staff and the best potato chips! Been several times meeting friends that were working in town and enjoyed the live music, food and atmosphere!

I stopped in for an afternoon beer while I was waiting to pick up the family at the horse park.

Hours of operation deviate greatly from what is posted online. As a first time customer, I find it disappointing and embarrassing to be turned away over an hour before close, while other patrons are waited on at the bar. It’s an unprofessional, overly-casual business practice. I’ll not be wasting my time here again. Better spend my time at the Amsden, Stave, or somewhere that’s respectable.

There is live music but it wayyyy too loud for such a small place. You have no choice but to listen to it and yell to someone to have a conversation or order a drink. There is a pool table or two but it’s a small space. The drinks are way overpriced, even for a bar. Any drink that’s mixed with anything isn’t very strong. Not worth the visit. Or the money.

I had not been to a bar in years that featured bands. I was apprehensive, but enjoyed GNO dancing and laughing with dear friends and seeing a friend for her birthday. Good times. Happy birthday Dawn Glowatz..

I love this bar .. only thing it’s gets crowd in there so better reserve a table before going especially on Friday & Saturday night .. The waitress are super nice there too

Went back after a year away. They were terrible. For starters, the bouncer was extremely rude to my brother simply because he had glasses in his old ID, but not anymore, and gave him a hard time. After getting in, the music was terrible high school gym yoga music, and the bartender didnt know the names of the beers she had, and wouldnt make the drink I like that is very simple. Will not return anymore.

Not impressed with the hostess attitude.Walked in Saturday around noon, the neon light out front said open. I hadnt taken two steps thru the door and the girl behind the bar shouted we are closed for cleaning.Not how a guest should be greeted.

Food was super delicious and the staff was absolutely awesome! Cant say enough about how great our servers were last night.

The Hazlett Brothers Band was playing,my husband and I had a good time.Nice clean,the drinks taste delicious we will go back.

This bar is amazing. The owners make sure its a safe environment for women and the bar tenders are some of the best in town.

Very difficult to get a drink. Manager uses the bartenders time to talk about what liquor to use instead of paying attention to customers.
