Massage Envy

Cancelled membership after several years. I booked an appointment while overseas for the day after my return.Presumably, their app has a time zone bug and set the appointment for a time that I was still out of the country. They still charged me full fee since it’s apparently my fault and nothing can be done.Other than cancelling an expensive membership and never considering them again.Come to think of it, recently they cancelled an appointment on me last minute after I had spent 45mins in traffic and already crossed the bridge and paid toll. Weirdly, there was no compensation for that.

Scheduled a 90-minute appointment with a new therapist, only to discover upon arrival that she couldnt provide massages unless you were friends or family. Disappointed by the lack of communication, she didnt inform me, call to cancel, or block her schedule. It left me frustrated with the wasted time and disappointed.

Far too difficult to get an appointment, they must be understaffed, Was told I had to schedule two months in advance for the times I preferred. Spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to book an appointment and the person on the phone said the system kept timing out. Far more stressed after calling them than I was before. They even suggested trying Petaluma, driving in traffic to Petaluma for a relaxing massage kind of defeats the purpose!!

Mike at the San Rafael location is amazing. He has over a decade of experience and knows his stuff. If you just want to relax, he is not for you. But if you want to actually heal your body, he’s the best I’ve found in Marin.

I LOVE Genesis..not just bc of her passion for her work, but because of WHO she is, .her core values, non judgmental and very positive spin on life and circumstances.Then, there is Mr Chick Magnet ar the front desk.. stylin black guy with the creative hair etc! What a kind, considerate, overly helpful young man...you scored with him!..his Mama did good with that young man!

Great staff, easy to make/change an appointment! I’ve been getting great facials from Genesis, you should try her out. She books up pretty quickly.

Elaine is a fabulous masseuse. She is the only reason I go there. The place is just fair wouldn’t rate it more but Elaine deserves a 5+.

Elaine is very intuitive and gave me the massage I needed yesterday. She stretched me where I needed stretching. I look forward to seeing her again for massage.

I see Elaine for massages. She always asks about any areas that might need special attention. She does a great massage and hits all the right spots.

Right when I got in the receptionist (Fat women with slicked back ponytail I think her name was Terry) was incredibly demanding and rude. As a place that is meant to be a place of relaxation I can assure you this was the most hostile host Ive EVER had experienced with.As a customer she denied me service and said she will not accept my gift card because I bought it on Ebay.She is literally not taking my money & losing me as a customer foreverNot only that she is LOSING MONEY for the owner!In the end of the day it is a BUSINESS meaning they are trying to turn over a profitShe would NOT accept a gift card that I had the confirmation for under MY NAMEWhat an idiot. She needs to be FIRED!

I had a really awesome experience with Genesis (apologies if I spelled that wrong, I am thinking of the car) who gave me a facial.I deal with sensitive skin that is prone to break outs. My skin felt very hydrated and nice after. In the morning I woke up and the texture on my forehead was MUCH better, not to mention my skin tone was more even and less red.I am going to be back to see her for sure! She was very inquisitive and knowledgeable. Not to mention such a relaxing experience with the neck/arm massage in between masks. Very much recommend!

Elaine is a gem. She is talented, consistent, caring and kind. She is the reason I keep my Massage Envy membership.

Prices are same as elsewhere. I have gotten really good massages there but most are just average. Finding the missus you like and a schedule that works is very hard.

Always a great experience. They take care of me. If I need to change my app time, Their Always there to help and work with me.
