I’ve been in two times. First time product was $25, when I called them out they changed it $7.50. Came back for same item 1 week later and wanted $20. Either this corporation is corrupt or kids are skimming off the top. Same experience twice. Avoid this shop.

Do yourself a favor and visit head hunters in port Isabel before making a purchase at cloud 9. Head hunters is conveniently located right across the bridge to your left and the prices and selection is unbeatable!

Man this place is pretty cool. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Staff is friendly. Not sure what other people are talking about with anyone being rude cause I didnt experience any of that. As far as the parking goes every business in South Padre will tow your car if you park were your not supposed to. So dont park at one place and walk to a totally different shop the parking is for that business. Anyways had a great experience.

DO NOT get their “pre rolls” they are advertised as delta 9 but it is mixed with tobacco. I spent $20 on their high end pre roll, but I threw it out after two puffs. As a former smoker it pissed me off to find tobacco mixed in with the delta 9, instant headache. They should be embarrassed to mix tobacco in with their product.

Me and the wife came here while on our honeymoon stay on the island. We went in to browse and I specifically wanted to see if they sold Kratom. Luckily they had some but, it was a very small selection. I Bought some way overpriced kratom and a couple other small items. I figured the prices would be higher then normal because it is a tourist trap after all. (The prices for kratom at several stores in the area where super high to me. Where I live in Houston its dirt cheap for the same name brand kratom at any gas station.) But, I was just glad I could find kratom it was hard to come by in the area. The worker dude followed me around on the other side of the counter thru the whole store while i looked in the cases. Kinda made me uncomfortable like he was making sure i wasnt gonna steal something. But, im socially awkward sometimes and the other side of my mind was saying naw your trippin he is just trying to be super helpful. Overall it was cool. I liked the aesthetics of the shop and it had a cool vibe.

If your looking for a over priced pipe this is your place I would highly recommend bringing your own pipe down there and cleaning it before you go back or just throw it away these people have lost they damn mind

Anahi was off the charts amazing. I know nothing about these products, and she was super patient and knowledgeable and warm. So much of where we shop is about the experience, not just the quality products. She is the reason I would come back. Kudos!

We didnt make a purchase, but the employee was attentive and talkative. He knew what he was talking about but wasnt pushy. Its definitely a laid-back inviting atmosphere. Plenty of product in stop, we were just browsing to pass time.

Went in this morning to grab some wraps and browse a bit.The girl working there asked me twice if I needed help.I told her I was browsing twice.She proceeds to stare at me the whole time, I decided to get some wraps and take off i felt so uncomfortable .Charges me $4 for a $1 ok of wraps.Guess thats what the stickers were for .Avoid this place.

Way too expensive. I guess they have big selection, but 2-3x the price of your average local store. I also understand that they think youre trapped on the island and its your only place to go. But I would rather do without for the time being, than have to deal with rude employees and pay that highway robbery.

Purchased an Esco Bar from here and it was one that was already dying. Asked if I could get it exchanged and the girl there asked, very rudely, Does it hit? And I said Yeah but its very weak and is about to go out. And then, with a dead eyed, indifferent and patronizing attitude said Well then we cant do anything about it. I get it. Sometimes people try to take advantage of places. But I bought it not 2 min before and went back in. With the amount of monopoly they have on the island they could have exchanged it. She could not care less. Not to mention the fact that the mark up was absurd. Dont go here. Get your stuff before you come to the island.

Place smells amazing the moment you enter and as for the staff, the best in the world by far. All the good items are here and its the best smoke shop there is in SPI!

We were on the island on vacation when my sister-in-law wanted to go in the store and shop. I decided to check out the glass bongs, the man behind the counter was extremely rude. Would not answer any questions and did not want to show me any of the merchandise that he had for sale even though it was in the $200 range we left without purchasing anything. We went literally right across the street and was waited on by some of the nicest people in town and ended up picking up all of our smoking needs!!!!!

Everything thing here is crazy over priced. We found a little smoke shop on the main land right before you cross the bridge. They had much better prices. This place tries to take advantage of the fact that they are on an island to over charge people.

2020: Pretty cool shop! Super friendly staff and they have lots of interesting everything perfectly suited for a smoke shop. I did go in to buy flint and was taken aback by the $9.99 price tag but ended up finding a great gift with the help of the staff. Really cool shop.2017: Well, its Friday, we pulled in at 5:23 p.m. and they are closed. So I wouldnt necessarily go by the times listed here. Cant give an opinion because we were unable to go in.

Bought an wack bar and they asked me to “make sure it worked” before I left with it. Was. Isn’t straight out of the box. I asked for a different one and told me “if it blows smoke can’t do anything about it” this place isn’t worth the money. Go else where. Never been to a place with worse service.

Horrible experience ever! They ruin your great mood on your vacation! Girls are so rude and moody. They have items over priced and never bothered to help out. Plus they were very empty on customers and they called the reckers to come pick up a car from a previous customer that was in the store for a while and step out to another store to use the restroom after them refusing the use of their own restroom. Store has always been over priced but, only place to go on the island. However, they are 1 of few places that require a mask. I was simply going to get cones, I’m not sick, and i have my freedom to know that I have the choice to wear a mask or not. I respect business’s choice to enforce a mask wearing policy, but will not shop at a local business who knowingly restricts my right to choose. So, I will no longer be shopping with this store. Hopefully another store with lower prices, better products, and freedom to choose, comes to the insland.

Please never come here!! dude was rude and wanted me in and out. also bought 3 esco bars($25 a pop), all were fake, and 2 died within an hour of buying and theres nothing he can do due to his “policy”.

Keep in mind, youre on an island, the prices here will be much higher. I am not going to take away a star for this because it should be common knowledge that youre going to pay more at a vacation spot such as this.With that said, they had exactly what I needed and they do carry OPMS black and green shots.

You literally cannot walk around in that store and even look at anything they have for sale without them giving you an attitude. One of their employees told me to get hit by a car when we left if that tells you anything about the kind of people that work there. You can get anything you need at any other smoke shop around for a better deal and better service.

I had an amazing experience coming to Cloud 9. Staff was super friendly I had two young boys helping me out and they were very patient as I am indecisive and take my time.They both answered all the questions that I had and also educated me with some new information. I actually had fun at the store as the staff created conversation that flows easily lots of laughs & giggles ! .. Very friendly environment. Cloud 9 also has an amazing selection ! Highly recommend !

Horrible experience will not recommend, both the girls there had attitudes for no reason, especially the fat one. She charged for coals and I didn’t want them because they were the quick start ones and she’s like “I charged it and I can’t remove it”, I didn’t wanna pay for it cause I don’t want it, so I first addressed her attitude and then the coal incident and she kicked me out. DO NOT GO THERE!!! HIGH PRICES AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! If possible I’d give 0 stars.

The staff is so rude and they WILL tow you. We walked in and nobody even acknowledged us. We asked if they had any pendants and they had no clue what we were talking about and weren’t friendly at all. Everything here is cheap glass at expensive island pricing.Be careful of this place! Made a purchase here and then discovered after using the product for several weeks that it was expired. The expiration date was a year old! It was on the bottom of the bottle so didn’t notice it right away. Check the dates before buying.

Everything is over priced but its the only shop on the strip so they pretty much have a strangle hold on the industry. That said, they were friendly upon entrance and friendly after purchasing an item. They didnt hover around me like most shop employees do. They let me browse and answered to the best of their knowledge questions I had regarding their products.

Think twice before buying anything! It does state no refunds which is fine, but I bought 4 Brass Knuckles vape batteries and had issues with 2 of them. The vape batteries worked fine until they had to be charged and would not screw on to the chargers. The manager which was not there at the time could have exchanged them for working batteries and could have made it right since I wasn’t asking for a return. I just wanted working vape batteries! And it surely did not help to receive terrible customer service buy a rude young gentleman at the front today! I’ve bought several glass pieces, pipes, grinders ,and batteries here because it’s the only local place but I DON’T mind driving 30 min taking my business elsewhere.

Super rude customer service , made me feel like a criminal and didn’t let me shop in peace! Kept asking me if i needed help but if i didnt they wouldnt help me just tried to get me out of there so rude. There were three employees and they all ganged up on me and didnt even help at all

Manager tried selling me a broken Hookah then had the audacity to offer me the new piece on the side and state “I doesn’t come with a bowl” then offered me to buy a new bowl that should’ve already came with the hookah. They have a little bit of literally everything so if you actually need some intimate toys, they have Vapes, they have bongs or whatever you need

So glad there is another shop in town because the employees here are so rude and dry it’s literally draining to have to deal with such incompetence. Took three times of me walking in there and receiving the worse service till I finally got into it with them and let them know how I felt. Will never return to this place ever again.

HORRID experience here. Very RUDE staff and they have an attitude problem. They literally watch every single move you make without even offering any type of assistance. You cant even shop in peace without feeling eyes on you. If youre going to watch a person, the very least you can do is try to play it off and be friendly just a customer service tip.

Workers were incredibly rude. The “owner” was showing signs of being mentally unwell & disturbed.. not someone that should be running a business. I was fully ready to spend money but was harassed when not buying something after looking for barely 2 minutes. Was then told to get hit by a car by the female coworker. Distasteful And unacceptable behavior.

The girl I was with was too big for most of their shirts but we went to Wal-Mart in Port Isabel and got her size blank nicer style shirts and had them put their SPI designs on them and got 4 for less than what 2 would have cost. They came out amazing!

The man that worked today (8/29) in the morning was awesome. He definitely made up for the bad experience we had with some short lady last night. The dude was cool and well be coming back!

Despite the previous reviews, we visited here this morning and had a wonderful experience! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Maybe a little overpriced, but you cant beat the special of the day.

Went there and none of them knew anything about e hookahs and had very little knowledge about them even tho they sell them. But thats not the worse thing. Me and my wife bought a kick butt dragon hookah and they for got to put some parts in the case. And when we went back to see if they could give us the parts that were missing the told us no... We even showed them the receipt showing that we purchased it there and they said rudely no... Worse place to go. My advice make sure you stock up on what you need before heading to the Island.

Its a cool shop. Some of the pieces are over priced but they had a bunch on sale when I went. I got a supposedly $70 piece for $30. Lots of pieces and lots of designs, just make sure you buy clearance items. Those are fairly priced.

Super unhelpful and knew nothing about the products they had. Couldn’t explain anything or offer any solutions I was just looking for some type of vape to smoke while I was on vacation but the girl just stood there and wasn’t helpful and didn’t recommend anything at all.

Bought some novo pods for my vape and they were 2.5x higher than any smoke shop I’ve been to and they were also fake and didn’t work.

Man...scored some awesomeness from the sale cabinet. Ten for 20 bucks one item alone was 50. The staff was awesome and they had a great selection of everything you can think of.

This place absolutely worst place Ive been too! Told the lady working there (Shorter Lady) I needed new coil for my tank. She looked at the tank and pulled out a coil said all they had was the lower .16 ohm I told her thats fine I just need a coil cos mine was burnt up and told me it will work. Not only did I get screwed on the price already 14 bucks for it, it wasnt even the right coil. When I came back and told her it doesnt actually fit she tried it and realized it wasnt the right one so she looked and didnt have any so I said Ill just have to return it cos I cant use it.. well low and behold no returns even for items they wrongly give u and tell u it will work and had the nerve to tell me well its what u said u wanted... i replied I only wanted the thing cos u said it would work with my tank. This place does not care about the costomer or own up to there mistakes they should be helping out customers new to vaping not screwing them.

What ever you do, do not take your vape into this store. I was looking for coils and brought it with me to see if they have any that match, and I was immediately kicked out. Would not even let me put it in the truck and come back in to buy a new tank.

This place is horrible! I went into Cloud 9 to stock up on ejuice as I was starting to run low. As I walked into the shop I saw one of my favorite ejuices OneHitWonders 180ml bottle. I knew that the price range of this bottle should be around $40 as this is the average price in most Vapor Shops and Online shops. When I asked the lady working at the time what the price she told me $100. This is absolutely ridiculous! They are charging 2.5x the MSRP for this ejuice! So I continued on as I also needed some 26650 batterys for my mod. I asked the lady how much the Samsung 26650 batterys were and I was told 34.99. Straight away I knew this was another extreme Mark up on the price. So I decided to buy a batterys because I needed them. After I left I called my favorite Vape Shop in Brownsville and asked what they sold the same exact 26650 Samsung batterys for. I was told that they sold them for $16. This is a prime example of someone taking advantage of their customers. This place is charging their customers 2x to 3x more than what the products are actually worth and the MSRP. On top of everything thing else the lady working was not knowledgeable about ecigarettes and was rude like several others have stated. This is one of the worst shops I have been in! Please take my advice and take your business else where, it will help your wallet!

Friendly staff. Prices (like everyone in this market) are inflated. In Canada you can get a full Oz. For $119CAD at the liquor store or for $60 on a reservation.

A crazy beautiful variety of pieces but all completely overpriced, really friendly staff.. if you catch them on the right time i guess, like anyone else. They do their job and if you needa smoke they got stuff for that so come through..

Vape juice is a rip off here. I get that its in the middle of a tourist trap, but they charge $35 for a 60ml of Naked. I pay $16 - $20 in the Chicagoland area. Guy working the counter could work on his customer service skills too. I had a surprised look on my face when he told me the price and he said, This is South Padre... in a condescending tone and then stared at me with a blank look on his face lol. Decided not to buy anything and go to Brownsville where they price things more appropriately.

I spent $30 on items that dont even work . Torch lighter wasted the fluid with only 4times of use and cbd nasal inhaler were dry didnt work what so ever . That place is full of pipes that they will never sell since they are so expensive compared to other cloud 9s in the valley.

As soon as we enter the building we should have walk staight back out. We recevied no greeting wat so ever but they were harassing us for an id check. Which is understandable. But at least have some kind of professional greeting. Then as we looked around i had my phone out and on then they rudly tell me no pictures. I was like ok like i was taking any. Then they stalk us around the whole time we were there not suggesting any sales or providing any prices. Finally we had enough and left. Terrible terrible

Horrible customer service, they cant even warn and welcome new customers in correctly, and to top it off they tow your car just for stepping into another store less than 10 mins to use the restroom because apparently they dont offer any for their customers. Never coming back and dont recommend for my stoner friends either! They totally will ruin your vacation!

This place is the only “smoke” shop on the island but it’s not a very good one. The people that work there are friendly enough. They have a pretty big selection of various items but it is way too overpriced (expected for an island/tourist destination). I would suggest going to a place that’s not so close to a tourist hotspot.

Some of the coolest people i met. i got a 3 ft glass bong that cost 200$ for only 80 bucks a gas mask bong for only 30 and a fresh louis vuitton grinder for 25 bucks. btw the gasmask cost 50 and the grinder cost 40. if you know how to bargain people down, then this is def the spot for you and this has to be one of the best smoke shops that i have ever been to. I LOVE CLOUD 9!!

Nice and Friendly people.As well as a huge selection.But Beware everything in here is way too overpriced.Ended up paying 30 dollars for a small banger.Best way to get a cheap piece is from the clearance section.Wouldnt recommend coming here unless you need a quick piece.Theres a ton of nice places in Brownsville that are a lot cheaper.SPI is a total tourist trap so it makes sense.

Been here numerous times on vaca. Walked in to buy a juul last weekend. Which they all turned out to be FAKE JUULS. I went to take it back reciept in hand. They refused an exchange for anything or a refund. Pretty crappy.

Really bad advice for the cbd cigarette, they are selling 4 different brand but they told me that the 4 of them tasted all the same... and all of them where only made of cbd... Not true at all....After smoking cbd herb for the last 10 years, my advices would be : dont buy them, they dont taste like cbd herbs at all, they are mixed with a lot of different herbs, strawberries leaf, marshmellow, catnip and had a lot of seed inside...For 25$ the pack its not worth it, the taste is strong, floweri and unsatisfying ...Finally they sell product to smoke weed but please dont dare talking about weed with them cause they will threat to kick you out of the store...I wish you a better experience then i did.. But i wouldnt recommend this place!

They have some policies that they wont allow people under 21, or something like that in the store. What I got to see before they kicked us out, it was kind of expensive. Thats why I didnt consider it a big loss of an interest point.

Went in the store with a mask on but I didnt have it above my nose. I have a medical condition that will not allow me to wear it all the way up. I dont even have to wear a mask but I do to be nice. I was told I had to leave and could never come back.

Great store, however it is a head shop not a Tobacconist, they dont sell cigarettes, but they had everything else I needed.

The hours on here are not correct. I stayed here from 10 til 1045 and no one showed up. The lady at the beach store told me the dude never gets there til around 1130 if youre lucky.

These people are very rude! Don’t know how to treat a customer. The lady wasn’t even wearing shoes , was walking around in socks ...don’t recommend this place

They were pretty rude ... Every one on the island is pretty rude kind of ruined the whole vacation

We planned on spending a fair amount of money at this store and walked out empty handed due to the disrespectful rude young people behind the counter.

Staff is very helpful, and friendly. Lots of selecting to choose from. Highly recommend coming here.

Really bad customer service bought a broken vape pen and they wouldn’t exchange even thought it was the same day same hour I had the receipt they basically stole my money contacting the better business bureau

Literally the coolest shop Ive ever been to.

The price of the product we were buying was double the price anywhere else. It is 20 dollars everywhere else but they were selling it for 44.

Their hours are wrong they say they open at 9 but it’s 9:44am and they’re not open.Not even 1 car in the parking lot. Really inconvenient
