Southampton Social Club

The owner was SO RESPONSIVE for our large Bachelorette group! Great food with an upscale vibe. #martinitower #instagarden They then shuttle you over to the club after to keep the night going. Chris and Brittany were simply THE BEST and brought such welcoming vibes!!

What can I say? The atmosphere, ambiance, etc... Was spectacular. The service was impeccable. The cuisine was top notch. They even had a little place where my girlfriend and her friends could take selfies. Very hilarious.If youre in the area its a must! Google only lets me give 5 stars but Id give them 10!

Went with the prefix menu but absolutely delicious. Service was wonderful and atmosphere was well lite, decorated and cute. For prefix a wide range of food options but my favorite was my entree the mahi mahi (light passion fruit dressing was soo good)

Had a great time with my girls! The food was fantastic and there was so much of it! The drinks were amazing as well!

Went as a group of 8 and had to do the prefix menus which was $75 - very cheap for hamptons. But the experience isn’t great at all. The good is the value and the place being suitable for large groups. The bad is:1) the Tuna dish was inedible. The sweet noodle was really bad.2) chocolate hummus desert was horrible. This should not be in a restaurant menu.told our waitress and she agreed with us and told us the kitchen doesn’t change it even though most people don’t like it.Overall, it’s a decent place for large group but don’t expect good food.

What a great spot. Went here a few times for different occasions. For dinner with the family - The scallops were the best. For late night, they host an awesome Nightclub style party. Theres 3 main rooms - The bar, the dining area and the backyard which has multiple bars and a nice big grassy yard. This place is def used for nice events and weddings. The staff is super nice and accommodation from when you enter to when you leave. Extremely close to the LIRR southampton station (across the st) so you can be about that hamptons nightlife without staying the night.

The Southampton Social Club shows promise with its high-quality food, but unfortunately, it falls short in several areas. We experienced issues with service: our orders were slow to arrive and inconsistent in their timing, creating awkward pauses in our group dining experience. Additionally, staff seemed forgetful, overlooking key items from our orders. With the prices being rather steep, it felt disappointing that the service didn’t match up. The atmosphere, although generally pleasant, was marred by music choices that left us scratching our heads at times

Came here last night and food was terrible. Took 1.5 hour for it to arrive. After we had to check what is going on. The place wasn’t even packed. We ordered 2 drinks at our table of 6 and took forever to arrive as well. And they want to charge arm and a leg for this? Never again coming here for food.

After ordering drinks, they took all of our IDs to the bar to check to see if they were real or not. After determining that all of our IDs were real, they allowed us to order to drinks. After finishing half of our meal, 2 managers then proceeded to come to our table yet again to check our IDs and told us they were being nice in letting us leave at 9pm since we were “underage”, even though our table was all 22 except for one 21 year old. While sipping our drinks we were told we had to leave as soon as we paid the check. We really wanted to stay there for the whole night Have a bad taste in my mouth and will NEVER come back. Do NOT recommend.

Food was delicious! Service was great and reasonably priced. They provided a short shuttle ride for us to go to their lounge, which was super fun as well!

I found this location to have such a charming atmosphere. We had wonderful service and attention. The sliders were tangy and sweet and wholesome. My divers scallops we perfectly buttered brown exterior and a sweet ocean creaminess in the interior. I was a wonderful meal.

Possibly the worst experience anyone can have in the Hamptons. We were in the middle of eating and they decide to ID us for the third time while discriminating against people well beyond 21 simply because they believe they would pay less. Menus are given to who they can exploit for money and clearly cannot read their customers. I highly recommend visiting any other neighboring local restaurant who has treated us much better over the years.

Exceptionally horrible experience. Chris the manager is unfathomably rude. I can’t believe the words that came out of his mouth. He treated customers that paid in advance like trash, and said remarks that were so offensive, it warranted him being fired on the spot. I’ve never had an experience like this before. Beware. Also look at Yelp for some more legitimate reviews, it seems the restaurant pays to have them taken off of google. The restaurant business is tough, and I will always wish any establishment the best, but the owner needs to strongly evaluate general management.

Attended a private event and everything was perfectly executed. The food was delicious and the staff was superb and went above and beyond. Their attention to detail is unmatched!

We came here to celebrate a bachelorette party and had sooo much fun the first night we came back a second. We all loved the silent disco aspect they had going on and had an insane time dancing. Our server Brandon was awesome. He was so interactive with all of us girls and definitely increased our experience. We were well fed and well lubricated the entire time. If I’m ever in the Hamptons again I’ll be hopping right over there.

This place is cool, the service and the guys working there were nice and courteous. But they definitely need to keep a control on the crowd. They let excessive people in and it becomes very crowded. We had a table reserved but majority of the crowd was either on our seats or sticking to us.

Chris is so disgusting. They never told us we needed vaccination card and changed their contract regarding vaccinations after us singing. Chris called us disgusting and refused to serve us. He made us sit in the freezing cold with no space heaters and we had to pay $300 for sweatshirts. We also had a prefix menu paid before the fact, and it was a bridal party we booked months in advance. He allowed us to sit at the bar 5 inches from our table but not our own table. So unprofessional truthfully. Chris should go back to being the general manager at ihop clearly he’s not ready for the South Hampton scene.

Was surprised when discovered this gem right next to the train station. Loved the vibe but had to wait about 40 minutes to be seated even with the reservation. Once seated though the waiter came right over to take orders for drinks...but then had to wait to order food since it seemed the place was super busy even on Thursday night. We didn’t mind since the weather was beautiful and it was nice to be outside. However after a while the kids were hungry and so were we and the food was nowhere to be found. Thankfully the waiter kept bringing bread so at least we had that to munch on. When food finally arrived it was literally devoured within minutes since everyone was starving by then. Food was ok but my judgement could have been skewed since at that point we were so hungry that could have mistaken Macdonald’s for a gourmet dinner. But despite all giving 4 stars and hope to give it a try again - maybe it will be a different experience some day ...

SO SCARY! You cannot be anywhere on the premise without your covid19 vaccination card. They do not tell on the reservation prior that you must show proof of vaccination. The hostess called security, and further police, on so many people that tried to walk thru the door, cancel their reservation and will get charged per head- I felt bad for a lot of girls. I usually love this place, but I will never come back here. I’m all for vaccinations, but the way they were treating paying customers is completely unacceptable and scary.

Should I have known since before we even arrive we are told we have to leave by a certain time? Probably!We sat for a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes only to be told by the manager Chris Capiello (spelling?) that there are people waiting for our table and asked if we can move.(as we were finishing up before a birthday dessert) I would like to add that there was a large amount of open tables both indoors and out. I am not sure if this is a customary practice for this establishment (that being, treating patrons like numbers instead of people) or if it was b/c there was some show they were filming there this evening, However, I have never in all my dining experiences, ever experienced the blatant obnoxious behavior from a staff member, albeit a manager ever. Chris has to be one of the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. Furthermore, the owner(s) should cringe at the mere thought of putting valuable patrons in his hands to care for. We were rushed prior to arriving, upon arrival, during our meal and clearly at the end. I would like to mention that the main course came out within less than 5 minutes. It was an odd, uncomfortable experience from soup to dessert(in which we cancelled dessert and left) We were not even offered dessert and when we did (so my friend can give me a candle to blow out) the waitress huffed and went to get the menu. McDonalds is fast food with nice service...so what does that make this place? A mismanaged business relying solely on their location to obtain their clientele. I can not imagine anyone with any self respect dining here, unless of course, being treated like garbage is ok. Chris...look for a new career. Management, Patronage, How to welcome people and make them happy and feel comfortable is NOT your calling, however, in the end it is the Social Clubs fault for allowing it. Shame. ZERO!

After spending $625 for a bottle of B list vodka, we were greeted with poor hospitality... at best! It took 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table and when they finally did, they didn’t even serve us (for comparison, we came Oreya where -as a bachelorette party - we had free bottle service). To top it off, they had the audacity to clear the bottle before we finished, stealing roughly $50-$100. The bar tender was snarky and cared little about their customers. I’d highly recommend going elsewhere (Oreya was great!) and would never go back.

The blonde male bartender working the front bar was sooo unbelievably rude. He wouldnt serve us water when we asked and only wanted our actual drink orders, I had to ask for water multiple times and kept getting ignored or forgotten about so he could serve others alcoholic overpriced drinks. Iv never experience anywhere like that. A shame because the place is cool and fun but the service we received was awful.

My honest review on google was taken down. Head over to Yelp where businesses cannot pay for good fake reviews, take down real reviews, and fake reviews get filtered out. Do not support businesses like this that lie and cheat and do not care about their customers. The restaurant Industry is hurting due to covid 19 and there are hard working people on Long Island that deserve your business and Southampton social club is certainly not one of them.

Food is great. Chef Mark is the man!!! Filet is melt in your mouth good. Turns into a club later tin the evening during summer. You may see a celebrity ir two also.

If you plan on going here make sure to wear a dress shirt, dress pants, dress everything... Also, go with a large group of friends. The picky bouncers at the front will literally make you wait before they let in more girls. Im a dude and I get the whole gentlemen ladies first principle. However, there is a certain amount of girls you can let in before you feel like being taken advantage of. You can be at the head of the line, but they dont care, they want those chicks to be in the bar before you. If it was up to them, theyd send all the guys home, but thats illegal.Drinks are really expensive and the moment I tried to mingle with a group of people in the backyard the one male in the group was deliberately rude to me for no reason. I tried introducing myself and then this guy tells me to walk away and leave. When I didnt say anything due to shock, he then added, Do you not understand English, with a thick European accent he continued blurting out, get the f**k out of here! No joke, so I calmly replied, Why are you being so rude? Guy continued to be rude so I laughed and walked away.The rest of the night there sucked. It got crowded pretty quickly and I noticed how everyone acted preppy with their noses up in the air. These rich people that come to clubs like this think their better than everyone else so anyone who doesnt act like them is immediately judged and then socially banished from their cliquey gossiping groups. When I told one of my friends about the obnoxious foreigner he told me thats how people are here. They usually avoid talking to other guests.The one bathroom outside in the quad had a man with a tip jar handing out the thinnest layers of paper towels. Im not going to tip you bathroom guy because I already spent a fortune on drinks. Also, I never tip the bathroom guy, because its a f**king bathroom! I spent over 40 bucks just on three drinks: two for myself, and one for a random cute girl who got a free drink out of me. Meanwhile, my two female friends I came with were quickly smothered by a group of preppy kids. I introduced myself and they acted as if I didnt exist.When I managed to finally meet two decent people outside, the only way I felt Id fit in and start a conversation was if I asked for a cigarette. I regretted it immediately, but as the booze ran further through my bloodstream something in my mind told me I was undercover. When those people asked me whats wrong I told them I didnt like how the people were acting here. So then they told me to talk to some girls across the yard. They were testing to see if I could get their numbers. So I left them (which Im sure was their plan all along) and tried saying something to those girls. The girls quickly walked away rudely. I even lied to a group of girls by the bar of where I was from this way I wasnt judged based on where I lived. Note to self, the first question these women asked me was where Im from. Looks like theyre trying to see what economic class I fit in. Im middle class by the way.The only people I felt bad for were the bartenders. They were clearly being overworked by the rowdy Hampton youths. Apparently, I heard some celebrities go there. I wouldnt want to meet any of those celebrities. Southampton Social Club seems to harbor the most shallow people. Avoid this place, youre better off going to a friends wedding or staying home in your beautiful summer abode.Lastly, my friends all grabbed a cab before me so I wound up spending 30 dollars alone in cash. Cash that I had to borrow from one of my friends when the cab driver got to the house, because they dont accept any cards. It isnt like the city. Never going here again.P.S. On a demographic level, it was all yuppie people. There was no diversity. The African Americans at the club were the white tuxedo bouncers at the front or the guy in the bathroom waiting for an honest tip. It was complete racial discrimination.

I really like Social Club, Im African American and Im from New York City ( Harlem). I wasnt treated different, and i was able to Mingle with everyone, i danced and all those Rich People (lol) joined in. If you feel intimidated by Rich People than you shouldnt go, Im not Rich but i do go out to have a good time and i spend whatever, because i work hard. $40 on 3 drinks is not bad, In NYC clubs drinks cost anywhere from $12-$15. South Hampton is a great getaway, and Social Club is the best Club to be at out there.

The girl at the front when me and my group of 12 were trying to get in stated the cover would be 40 for guys 20 for girls, next thing we knowa bouncer comes around and says no its 60 for guys and 30 for girls. But if you want you can pay 520 for a bottle. We didnt even make it inside. We were disappointed with the treatment and will not be returning there.

Was looking forward to an amazing dinner with family, weather was iffy so we sat inside, could not get over the bleach smell in the restaurant. Food was good but atmosphere could have been better.

Amazing atmosphere with an even better staff. Chris has taken this place from a local hangout to THE place to be in Southampton. With staff like Kasha, JJ and Veronica you cannot lose. Highly recommend

Chris is the best! We have been going for years and love the place! Excellent service and beautiful restaurant. They also have silent disco nights which are a blast!

This place is a rip off, in the literal sense. I gave the bartender a $100 bill to get change, but they only gave me $50 back. I didnt find out until I got home. This is a scam through and through. Do not do business with a scammer. AVOID!!!!!

Southampton social club is all under age people. They will not let anyone in that is not underage with cash. Whatever you do, avoid this establishment. The new management is horrific.

This place always has a good looking crowd and is packed. Ian the owner is super nice and always a pleasure to speak with. Theyve started trying to charge cover which is annoying, so go before 10:30.

We had a great time, but when we left at midnight there was a huge crowd waiting outside. Definitely not worth any type of wait or a $60 cover...

Food was amazing as was the atmosphere, 4 out of 5 stars because it was a bit pricey, but I guess that’s what you get in that area. Will be returning customers.

Here for a birthday party. Food was awesome. Mixology on point. Service friendly and attentive. What else could you ask for. I will be back.

The floors are wood, generally. The ceilings are also. Fans in some of the rooms. Sun through the windows during the day, otherwise moon.

Their “Grey Goose” bottles for bottle service are filled with well vodka! Other than that, cool spot.
