Always greeted nicely and everyone is so helpful. I like that they can look up my purchase history to help me locate which items I prefer quickly and earn discounts.

First visit was excellent earlier in week. Today we asked for 50mg strength in the first eJuice, and then asked about another flavor...didnt realize until got home (hour away) that she gave us 30mg strength in the second one.Not sure why we would want a different strength in the second? Unless we specified. Oh well

Ive been a vape user for about a decade and this is the best liquid Ive ever had buy far. The prices are awesome as well. Sometimes it takes a bit to get, but its worth the wait.

The guys are always more than helpful and very friendly. Not vape snobs that make you feel inferior.

Lovely staff and large selection of vape juices and mods / tanks

The last time I purchase anything from this store, bought a kit from them which came with a defective device, went to talk to them to get it exchange and they told me that I need to show proof of the error that the mod is displaying which I told them it happens randomly and it literally last 1 second on the screen so I would have to be with a camera ready 24/7 waiting for it to do it. Ive been a customer of this store for over 3 years and have bought 3 devices from them and 2 of them were defective. with the first one they gave me a hard time to exchange it but ultimately did so and now again theyre asking for something that its borderline impossible for a device that was purchased less than 2 weeks ago. DO NOT BUY DEVICES FROM THIS STORE. I will no longer spend my money at this store, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS.Update: Spoke to Nick Campbell, who showed urgency about the situation and got the issue resolved very quickly. Got the device exchanged with no further issues.

Dont get high on your own supply.I went in to get juices and decided to let them upsell me on coils. I would need them eventually. He sold me coils that were twice the size of what I needed. He sold me 3% when I asked for 6%, which means I will go through twice as much this month for twice the price as I would have for my 6% nicotine. The salesman looked high as hell.I went in to exchange my coils, the assistant manager simply said sorry, and tried to charge me the $7 difference on the coils when they screwed up my entire order. I asked for a refund instead, after all, I didnt NEED them.This store lacks customer service and professionalism. I will not be back and I will not give my roommate a ride to your store again.

I have been using Central Vapors before they were Central Vapors. The bulk ejuice is a phenomenal deal. I am impressed with the whole operation. They have been doing everything so consistently for such a long time.

These guys are awesome! I just moved here from Denver and needed new coils, someone at work Recommended them (Stew Hansens Dodge) So I stopped in and everyone working treated me like a million dollar customer Even though I was just buying a pack of coils (which were $6 cheaper than I’m used to paying!) highly recommended this shop! They have earned my business for sure. I have since stopped in again and ended up talking to the gentlemen for about 30 min about my new job and my new move. Truly cool people working here!

Visited this location today. I normally go elsewhere due to price difference. I noticed a review above claiming price matching but that was not my experience. I was charged nearly $10 more for my second usual choice. CIV does not carry my preferred juices from Lost Arts. The absolute worst part of my experience was the sales associates attitude concerning my comment about price. He claimed its about the quality of the juice. The bottle says manufactured in California and I am well versed in the price of the brand for this size of bottle. Absolutely horrendous customer service. No mention of price matching. Will be sure to tell my fellow vapers of this experience.3 months later they reply without addressing the issue... This is what is to be expected from a store that grows too quickly, sub par service all around.1 year later and I visited out of location convenience. What a turn around! Staff was super attentive and knowledgeable! And best of all patient with my questions. You earned me back!!! Thank you for making the changes crucially needed.

I love this place. Theyre always super nice with excellent service. Theyre always there to help you whenever you need. On top of that, everyone is easy to talk to. Makes the customers nicer and makes the entire place not just a store, but much much more.

It was easy to find. We went in trying to get something specific that google said they sold but didnt......ended up leaving very happy with something different and for a very reasonable price. Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and very willing to help us find something comparable to what we wanted. Well be going back

Great customer service. I had bought some coils from another place and had some issues. Came here and explained my issues and found that the coils I got were not meant for my mod. Without question the salesman traded my unused coils for the correct ones.

I would 5 star this but there’s a reason why I didn’t.I went into the store today and of course a gentle man that worked there came out from the back and said hello and asked what he could do for me and I told him what I needed to buy, well at the end of the purchase he asked me for my id and I gave it to him. He looked at it then looked at me and looked at it again and asked me if that was really me and I laughed and said yes, and then he asked me if I lost weight and I said yes, I just had a baby.I thought I was really rude of him to say that.

Iv been a customer with them for 3 years. They are always very friendly and always very helpful. I recently ran into a issue where I was overcharged $25 due to a computer mishap at there sw9th location. The employee wasn’t able to give me a refund over the computer. He wasn’t allowed to. So I went to another store told them my problem and the manager gave me $25 out of his own pocket to make me happy. I was also in touch with the owners of central Iowa and they were very helpful in fixing the problem and also reimbursing their employee of his $25. Everyone at CIV has customer service as their number 1 priority!

Their new employee, Zoey, is the bomb! I dont remember the other persons name but he was awesome too. Such a great crew. :)

The best e-cig shop in whole Des Moines area. Being with you guys since opening and never being disappointed. Always huge assortment of liquids to choose from. Great prices and deals. I work by traveling through all states and still coming back to this one. Respect guys, keep up a good work.

Terrible service rude teenagers that have no idea what they are doing. Have been going to central iowa ecig for over 5 years and after visiting this location i will no longer be a customer of theirs. Will start trying out route69 as i have heard good things they have never been rude to my friends who go there like i just experienced at central iowa ecig and they are closer to my home. Glad i wont have to make a drive for an company who is ungreatful for their customers.

An excellent shop with a wide variety of options for juice, hardware and accessories. Staff is always friendly and ready to answer any questions you might have.Im commander Shepard and CIV is my favorite vape-shop on the Citadel.

If I could give less than one star I would. The hours they hold are ridiculous, good luck catching them when theyre open. But if you ARE lucky enough to catch them open, you can count on terrible customer service, bad attitudes, and almost no knowledge about the products they sell. Then when they do sell you the wrong thing, they wont let you return it, but theyd be happy to sell you something else! They dont stand behind the products they sell and they dont have the knowledge to sell those products.Further more, every time Ive been in the employees all sound like Sean Penn from fast times at Ridgemont high.....like yo dude, like Im like pretty sure that this is like what ya need dude....that is not an exaggeration.I am all about supporting local businesses, but this one will never get another dime from me. Theyve let me down for the last time.

Ive never vaped before so this is a new experience for me. Im also a truck driver so trying to find a vape shop near a truck stop is almost impossible. Everyone in there is really nice and friendly. I had Brady help me pick out a nice mod, coil, and juice. I originally wanted the temp controlled coil but unfortunately nobody there has really messed with them and couldnt get the settings on the mod just right, so I went with a regular watt coil. I even got a couple extra coils for having to wait while they tried getting my mod right with the TC coil. Id definitely come back here again in the future. Excellent work guys.

While I am not new to vaping, I am self-taught which means that sometimes I just need help with troubleshooting. Every time I go into CIV, whether I make a purchase or not, the staff is always incredibly friendly and more than willing to help. Their customer service is truly some of the best I have experienced at any business. The staff knows their products, gives knowledgeable recommendations, and are more than happy to take the time to make sure you are satisfied. CIV has been the vape store I am most impressed by in the Des Moines area, and there is good reason why they receive my business over and over. Pat, Cole, Maddie, and Kaylie are the best!

Fairly knowledgeable on the topic of E-cigs and juices but dont communicate there business hours for the days not open. We all use the internet to check business hours and youd think being as simple as it is... times would be updated on Facebook AT LEAST!Had to go to another place after driving out to Waukee and seeing the OPEN sign and the app both saying someone was there only to find... the door locked.

I have nothing but awesome things to say about Central IA Vape!! We do most of our shopping on Hickman but have ran into other stores too. I have never had a bad employee, in fact they are so great it amazes me!!!My husband and myself quit smoking nearly 3 years ago and Central saved us and kept us from going back to the smelly cigs!! My husband was diagnosed with COPD several years ago and had problems breathing and catching his breath and was on several inhalers every single day!!!!! He no longer uses any inhalers at all and all of his breathing tests have been NORMAL!!!!We will never shop anywhere else!! They stand by their products, are so knowledgeable and have great selections of everything!!!Thank you Hickman store, Ashley, Patrick, Cole and every single employee there!!! You are all awesome!!

I stopped in on Dec 22nd for the first time and purchased the bonza rda gold and a drip tip for my wifes v8 stick, when I got home I started Going through the items and I Noticed the bonza package was open, Which it didnt bother me because the rda was on display, but then I noticed that the resin drip tip was missing is a gold yellow color, Which according to the vaping Bogan all the gold ones come with the bonza package come with 3 drip tips , the resin wide bore, the ultem wide bore and a delrim wide bore, for some reason mine came with 2 delrim, but no resin one, I called the next morning and explained to the person the helped me the day before that I was missing the resin one, he said he knew which one it was and he said I could stop in and pick it up, which it didnt work for me because I live an hour away and with the holidays I had a busy weekend, so I asked if he could mail it he said yes but it will take about 10 days for it to arrive, that wouldnt work for as Im heading out of the states, so I told him I would ask my brother in law that lives in the are to pick it up he said ok, my brother stopped and pick it up and brought it to me on christmas, In conclusion he sent the wrong one he sent me another ultem, if I could give less than one star I would, hopefully I can get This misunderstanding solved as of now my first impression is not a good one

Ive been vaping for almost 2 years, Ive been to almost every shop in the Des Moines area multiple times and never felt like the employees knew what they were selling me. They just pushed the most expensive product on me to make money. When I first went to Central Iowa, just from walking in the door, everything was clean and in its place. Everyone working acknowledged me and one gentalmen made sure to check my ID. He made sure to ask me a list of questions to get to know how and what I was using to vape. He seemed so interested and wanted to help me get to know the products and flavors better. I havent been anywhere else since. CIV is what I would consider family and some of the more loyal and caring people. Hands down best vape shop in town. 👌🏼

I have been a customer at Central Iowa E Cig/ Central Iowa Vapors since the store first opened on East 14th. I have been going to the Clive store since it opened. I have bought many devices, juices, tanks coils you know the whole gambit with vapping. I bought a Hex Ohm (being told by staff) its the best and great warranty. Yeah not so much. I gave my Hex Ohm to Cole the week of 11/13/17 here we are today 2/27/18, and no Hex Ohm thats 65 business days and have still not had my device repaired and shipped back to me. PLEASE BEAWARE OF ANY HYPE ON THE HEX OHM. I personally would not represent such a lousy service after the sale from Hex Ohm.I received a follow up from Ash at Central Iowa Vapors (CIV) co owner at the Clive location. She addressed all my concerns and even replaced my Hex Ohm with a new one. Wow!

If it wasn’t for my dude Cole at the Clive store I would probably be still smoking a pack of day. I have been a happy customer for a couple years now and they have never let me down, even being especially helpful when I have some of those techinical difficulties here and there.

I moved to Ankeny and I live right down the street from their Ankeny location but I love the atmosphere of the the Clive location so much the drive is always worth it.

If youre new to it ask a lot of questions. It is a good way to get off cigarettes only thing I found that works. Kind of helps when they have some deals. Help save money!!!
