Splash Fresno on 90’s Throwback Night was OUTSTANDING.The door man and security staff were the utmost professional. Jerry at the front-bar was quick, friendly, knowledgeable and very hospitable!The entire facility was clean, well-planned and modern. The men’s restroom was clean, well-stocked, accessible, fully functioning and had adequate lighting.Splash is the perfect bar for a night of bass-pumping music with iconic videos that were highlighted by glorious lighting effects.The Libations were priced appropriately and poured to the “Gay-Club” standard; Generously.The entire club had plenty of comfortable seating. The icing-on-the-cake is their patio! It was large, well-furnished, dimly-lit and allowed for conversation amongst the Girlies.Mr. Splash’s audio system left me never wanting the music to end.I’m absolutely looking forward to my next return.Thank you Splash Team.-Joie B.

NEGATIVE* I was the only person in the bar over 30.* Drugs were obvious and EVERYWHERE. Health & Safety or Fresno POLICE would have a field day with them!* The bathrooms were FILTHY level disgusting.* The music was so loud I could not hold a conversation even when far, far away from the speakers.* Its supposedly a Queer bar but, there were more straight people than gay people by far. Eww.POSITIVE* Apparently when there is a theme night the place has a different vibe -- I would not know, as Ive never gone back.* If youre under 30 with low expectations youll fit right in.

Love this place so much!! Been coming here for about two years and you couldn’t have a better group of people working there. The atmosphere is incredible every weekend I’ve gone and the music has been perfect. The drinks are also so good, especially if you get them made in the back bar! Cant wait to go again :)

Great drinks and good price! Jamar is a great security guard and always make sure I’m taken care of. I love watching the workers perform during Tuesday night karaoke. This is all good vibes🙌🏾

This place was a blast, all the staff were so nice and security was ON POINT 👍 There was a guy that kept following me and my friend around even though we had told him no we dont want to dance repeatedly and right when I was going to find security to deal with him a security guard came to us FIRST and said they saw him following us around and asked if he was bothering us and when we said yes it was taken care of. Also when me and my friend left we were both drunk but we had a ride already waiting for us outside but security stopped us before we left and confirmed we already had someone picking us up right now and we werent going out alone into the night. That shows they really care about the safety of their patrons and that really means a lot 💯

This review is particularly for the worker that was rude. We asked if he could turn on the heater outside in the patio and his response was “ i just clocked in” and walked away. It was 8:30. We didn’t rudely ask or in anyway demanding, we said “ hey, is there anyway you can turn on this heater?” And that’s the response we got. Just because it’s a bar and you might feel like you can speak however you want to customers, it’s not a good look. Basic respect and decency is expected and the norm. Examples of acceptable responses: 1) i just clocked in, let me see what i am able to do. 2) you know what, im not sure… let me check that for you. 3) unfortunately, i cant yet… but i will as soon as i can 4) let me find out for you. Please splash, don’t have patio open if you cannot provide decent service. Rather not be out there if imma be disrespected.

Ok bar in Fresno. They have rupaul queens come through. Random bear nights. Bartenders are friendly. Music is usually good.

Splash staff and security are attentive and keep everyone safe. I highly recommend coming on Thursday nights (after art hop) or fridays. Soo much fun and the drinks are great price. LOVE how they are protecting our community and enforcing checks on vaccination cards. Will be back ;)

Security needs to be trained to deescalate situations and keep their composure. Dealing with intoxicated people shouldn’t be a security reason to act out.

Why the hell where so many girls inside the MEN bathroom? I was trying to pee when this bunch girls were behind me washing their hands and a few was trying to used the bathroom. I didn’t not feel comfortable here and this is supposed to be a gay club where we supposed to feel safe. I felt harassed with this girls so close to me when I was trying to pee. There’s not security by the bathrooms at all. Never coming back here. Not recommended

First TimerHad a bad experience! people of fresno cant control there liquor. I was getting shove and step on. Wasnt really feeling the vibe there, I dont think Ill ever come back.

The tall security guard I believe his name is Mar is super welcoming and has a great personality and vibe, the times I’ve been to splash he’s very friendly and definitely looking out for anyone acting out which is important especially in fresno. You can tell he cares for the safety of everyone that comes and just tries to have fun as some people go and can’t handle there liquor and act out or get to touchy and make others feel uncomfortable. Give this awesome man a raise ♥️ I only go when he’s working for the reason being I only feel safe when he’s there. Splash overall is a fun place to go with friends and just have a good time the bartenders are nice and fast when it comes to drinks, the music is a variety of everything which is awesome, and the security is 5 stars ⭐️. Thank you splash for allowing the community to come out and have a good time!

Someone was assaulted at this bar and they did nothing about it. absolutely disgusting that they allow this kinda of stuff to happen.

The djs music for the dancefloor is REALLY bad to dance to pretty much every saturday Ive gone there. also often times Ive ordered a drink the bartenders have been a bit bitter or snarky, even when theyre not busy, which kills my vibe. Also have been overcharged for drinks a couple times (not cool at all) and it doesnt help theres no drink menu. The only good thing about splash is that its pretty much the only club to go to and it feels safer than other clubs. I really wanna enjoy coming here more but the music seriously needs to improve with more dance-able songs/mixes and some more hip pop. A lot of my time on the dancefloor with new friends is just spent waiting for them to play better music that we can actually dance to. And needs friendlier bartenders and price transparency instead of realizing im getting overcharged after the drink is already made, when i already know how much i usually pay for the same sloppily made cocktail.

Hector is my favorite go to bartender, although all the bartenders that work there are great, but hes my favorite. Hes always there when I need him and never disappoints when it comes to making my drink. Any questions or concerns I have I bring up to up him and hell help out.

The womens restroom is a mess! They dont care for woman there! Both soap dispensers were broken! I went into the mens restroom to wash my hands and two security grauds came up to me and told me they are giving me a warning for going into the mens restroom! I felt so ganged up on and that situation was just strange! They were treating me like I was a criminal! I just want wanted to wash my hands

What you will experience here is discrimination at its ugliest. If you are beautiful or young or in the owner or managers in group they will make sure you are hooked. If you are a single older man they will and have every time I have gone to bears night showed how to shun and discount and make you feel lesser than them.I have been to 4 bears nights and the management, staff and especially the dancers make someone like me feel worthless. I was almost suicidal after the was I was treated last night. Like any of them would have cared.

Security is super racist to Indian guys. Spread Love, Girl at the front door was very rude and didnt let one of my friend in because he has temporary paper driver license but he still have Usa permanent resident card , photo id along its mentioned his DOB and also People who know the staff comes at front of the long line to get in where other people are waiting in a que. Owner / management should strictly watch these activities. I hope this will work for other customers too. Thanks

Tall African American Bouncer was very rude, at one point slapped my foot off a stool. I didn’t say or do anything there but later in the night he physically threw me out for no apparent reason. I let him know I’m a disabled veteran to not be pushing me which he then proceeded to explicitly tell me he didn’t care. It seemed like if he didn’t want to be working there that night. Ownership and management need to have better training for security personnel in order to be working in that environment.

Went after a concert and had a blast dancing until closing. Everyone felt safe & security was alert. Also the bartenders were amazing!

Girl at the front door was very rude and didnt let one of my friends in because she didnt have a california ID but has a US ID because shes a foreign student. And was DENIED enterance because she didnt have a passport. Mind you she is 21 and has a dob on her ID. African american bouncer was very rude and snide in his remarks when it came to attire. As a whole this establishment needs to do better. Especially when customers come ready to spend money and have a good night, only to be rejected and treated as a second class citizen. For an LGBTQ+ establishment the only thing friendly about it were the other patrons waiting in line to get in.

I always have a good time when I come here. Its really big, the drinks are huge and cheap. And I love that theres 3 bars, the patio, the front lounge area, and the back dance floor. Drag shows are always epic and love that they have the Drag Race girls come to perform. Super fun.

I love Hector as my bartender and will always bring anyone new to him. He was the first person to serve me at splash and Ill always be grateful for that. He knows my special drinks and shooters. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Never write reviews , but BAD . Boyfriend was waiting for me in line so I can be safe and get to the restroom , bouncer kicked us out for him waiting for me . never again going . We paid $60 for out whole party . Bouncer was hella hostile. never going!! Rude. We were in there for 2 minutes and he acted extra.

Do not go to THIS PLACE!! we went here last night and was waiting in line to use the womens restroom when I noticed a man was creeping at women and peeking into the restroom. I yelled at him and told him to stop being a creep, at which point one of the security gal decided to intervene and not discipline him, but ME. She said told me not to put my hands on her “guest” which I never even touched him, and then I told her she should be more aware of creepers like him which I’m sure pissed her off because she thought it was okay to try and kick me out while I was using the restroom. She barged in and said, “ you’re done, you need to leave.” I said, okay, but im using the restroom and will leave after and she was not having it. Impatiently waiting for me to get out so that she can tell me that I needed to go. How unprofessional this security was! On top of that, you’re kicking me out for caring about the safety of other women in this place from a dude who was so conspicuously creeping on women?!? Gtfo here. Will never come back here again. Women need to protect other women, not kick them out like she did! He must’ve been her friend because no one would’ve reacted the way she did.

Staff and bartenders are great, my friends and I had the best margarita on the rocks we’ve ever had here! Vibes and ambience are great as well. The only thing I think could have been better is the music, the music they play definitely appeals more to the white gay community.

Love going here been going here for awhile never really thought I would have to leave a bad review but Saturday night me and my friend went to go celebrate his birthday but apparently he was too “drunk” but we had the same amount of drinks and stuff but what the real problem was he saw him wearing a birthday stash and said he wasn’t allowed I had told the guy we had came all the way from Hanford bc this is the only club we feel welcome and he said sorry that’s not my problem there’s nothing I can do was really sad that my friend has to experience that celebrated there my birthday and they were all nice and greeted me and told me happy birthday but didn’t do much for him

So clean, staff is friendly, people are so awesome there. I’m definitely going there again. Love it most fun I had in long time. Theres no drama, a patio, places to sit, sit your drink at any moment, a dance floor and two bars. Love love love

I would give a 5 but they keep the mens restroom open to where you can see them peeing when you are playing pool. We tried to shut the door multiple times and got in trouble.

Celebrated my birthday there everyone is so friendly and kind bar tenders amazing they were on it didnt have to wait for my drinks i highly recommend if u havnt been to splash to go and show them bar tenders some love

Bartender was very predatory towards my friend’s brother and when she was turned down by him one last time, she blacklisted him from several other bars noting that he was a “b*tch”.Disgusting behavior, I can’t believe in 2023 we’re allowing such an abuse of power from someone interacting with intoxicated people.

Finding a good club is a tough thing to do, but splash is by far the GREATEST club I have ever been to in Fresno. I seriously love it here. Im not a fan of their entrance fee since they kinda sprung that on me, but they always play fun music to dance to and on most nights the dance floor is packed. Ive made a lot of good memories here and Ill keep frequenting thing place until the day I no longer can.

Tower is full of drunks yet splash hasn’t had one shooting. Safest spot in tower but you all complain about security

High quality neighborhood community entertainment! LGBT community entertainment keeps building even more amazing in Tower District and the chocies of places to go in Tower is adding a healthy competition for venues to have more to offer! Splash is wonderful as they play music that they also keep the videos matching to it for enhanced entertainment value. Staff were knowledgeable with drinks as well.

Been here a couple of times. Love the atmosphere, the drinks are bomb. Just feel like they need to play better music. That’s it.

This place has been open for like two weeks and I think weve been here 10 times. Every time has been excellent. Great drinks, fair prices, incredible staff. The vibes are immaculate.

Really great experience. I enjoyed that the different areas allow for different vibes. Love the huge patio and great dance floor. Very top 40 with the music though.

Me and my friend got kicked out for requesting a song to the DJ and gave us an attitude with a stink face. The music is not all that honestly.

In my opinion most unsafe place in tower. No security was in the back area, fight broke out and there was no security in sight. AND the music isnt very good.

They’ll serve you as many drinks as you like and take your money but as soon as you start showing signs you’re drunk they kick you out. Wack!
