We go here to see our favorite performer in the area. Corey Weaver and his band. Always a wonderful show when he plays here. Stetsons is a nice spot....large dance floor and great bar. They have tables around the dance floor and a DJ that plays music during the guest performers break. Theres a nice variation of middle age and older people there having a great time.

Omg I love this bar! They have the absolute best security staff or all time. Their lead security Roland is wonderful AF. Eli and Stephanie are my favorite bartenders. Always have a good time here.

We held our annual Christmas Gala here and everything was amazing! Nathan met with us in the beginning and was able to bring to life everything we needed in order to throw our event. He was always available for any questions or ideas before the event which made it much easier on our side. During the event he was always on the floor and every time I needed him, he was right there and more than happy to help. Thank you Nathan!!!!We decided to go big this year and hire the Spazmatics and we all knew we bit off a lot BUT everything turned out so good!! There was a Toys for Tots toy drive, silent auction, raffle baskets, 50/50 and food from Daves BBQ. So much going on and everything ran so smooth. All of the staff that evening were so nice and our group had them working. Thank you to all of them!!We are super excited for next year and please add our amazing charity on Facebook to follow us for next event. Alamo City Charity Partners See everyone next year!!

Toto tribute band. Guy at the front door had a very aggressive attitude and when I asked to go in to see if my friends were there, he said he had to go in with me while my wife waited at the front. Bought two chairs at the bar (guy escorted us again) for $25 each, they didn’t include a single drink! Way to make feel customers unwelcome.

There was only one bartender/employee working when we arrived. She did not have the ingredients needed for one of the specials of the day. It would be great to have some type of food or snack option. The trivia night was fun and would be our only reason to return.

Went on Wednesday night to see the Nick Lawrence Band. They were great!Bar was great. Fast, polite service. Drink prices were not Riverwalk prices. Cool decor, nice dance floor. Cool outdoor patio. Slow night, but seems like a great spot to me.

Flor is the best bartender!!! She makes the best drinks, and shes super nice!! Ill definitely go back because of her. 😊 shes definitely a peoples person.

Eli is an amazing bartender he is very attentive and and super funny. He definitely keeps everyone happy

Response July 19, 2023 : I appreciate the response to my review but Hannah Ellis did indeed perform at your bar. 😂 It was the same night as Dylan Scott. She opened for him. I’ve attached a photo of her on your stage that night. Both were excellent performances and we had a great night except for freezing our tails off unnecessarily. I mean, you know how many tickets were sold versus your capacity so why make people wait outside when you could just sell the remaining tickets and made more money at the bar from us? Anyways, this is still a great little bar and we enjoyed our evening.I’ve updated my review because I left it when I was still thawing out from that evening and was feeling salty over it. 😂Initial review:We came to see Hannah Ellis but didn’t have tickets. So we had to wait in a separate line. Fine. No big deal. But why make us wait outside in the cold until 8pm? Everyone with tickets were inside ordering drinks and enjoying themselves and we were outside freezing. Not spending money at the bar. I ended up only spending $17 on drinks. Had we been able to go in earlier instead of being stuck outside for an hour my tab and tip would’ve been probably $50 or more. Take that times about 30 people in line with us and that’s probably over $1500 in lost revenue.I don’t see how that makes good business sense.Either way, the bouncers at the entrance were very nice and tried to keep us in good spirits. And Hannah Ellis was wonderful!

Cooter brown was way better than what it is now. They advertise it as a country bar… but they play all sorts of music. It’s definitely not a country bar at all! Drinks are way too expensive!

Flor was an absolute delight! Love her personality, attitude and personable she is!! She is such an asset to this bar!!

This place and the owner are very open about their hatred of the LGBTQ community. I guess you can’t be a gay cowboy according to the owner. We live in the 21st century, get off your high horse. Don’t waste your money here

Great vibe at this place, always good live music and great crowd on the weekends. You can’t beat the specials. Also always a fun time with Daryn as my bartender for Sunday happy hour.

Nice, clean, small country/western themed bar. Drink selection is very basic and kind of pricey..they don’t have draft beer, which is a bummer for me personally, but of course that’s not for everyone. At the time we were there, they were short staffed, so drink wait time was long. Band that night was pretty good.

I had the pleasure of attending the opening night with my best friends and I cannot sing enough praises for Stetsons, specifically for our bartender Elliot. He truly made our experience there even more enjoyable. Not only was he fast but he was also super fun and made great drink recommendations. The overall atmosphere is incredible. I’m rarely a dancer, but the drinks & atmosphere had me feeling some type of way. Also, safety is a huge part of girls night out. There was never a point at any time that night where I felt unsafe, which is super hard to come by. My girls & I can’t wait to make Stetson Dance Hall our new spot.

You won’t regret coming to see Daryn for Sunday happy hour, she’ll take great care of you. This place has great drinks, great prices, and great people. Definitely worth checking out.

I would like to give a review for one of your lady bartenders. Amanda Martinez is a great aspect to the company and bar scene. She is always attentive and always has a smile on her face. She makes great drinks/shots. Always makes the visit that much more enjoyable.

Great bar and atmosphere! Erica made me feel like I was one of her friends out having fun! She recommended drinks that I LOVED and was fast making them. Her bubbly personality makes me want to go back soon!!

Stetson Dance Hall is a great upgrade from Cooter Browns. The place is clean and sanitary. Great Music. Great place to watch Football 🏈 on Saturdaysand Sundays. Amanda Martinez the bartender is very attentive and builds a rapport with her guest. Great quality to possess. She pays great attention to detail when making drinks. The drinks are always on point.

Could not believe DJ did not want to play you missed what a leftit A hole

I love the premise of the bar with the huge garage roll up walls and open to the patio lay out. Music selection is pretty good. Everything els is not good. Sound system sucks. Drinks priced too high and not even made well, worst of all the dance floor sucks!!!! There is too much wax and that makes it impossible to glide across. It’s just like glue. The bar has polished concrete, and that is amazing for dancing. They should have switched floors. I could deal with high prices if the dance floor was even decent to dance on. Sadly.. it’s not.

Great music! And such a great environment! Every time I go with friends its always a good night here! Also the bartender Stephanie gotta be one of the nicest people ive met! Super good at her job as well!

The venue is cute, the bathrooms are clean, and EVERY staff member is one of the sweetest humans on the planet. Special mentions to the bartender with long pink hair who is a queen and the guy I’m assuming was in management in the green shirt. The dance floor could be bigger and the people could be better, but overall atmosphere was great.

I went to the Aaron Watson after party and was disappointed. The bar was awesome, the staff was nice and fast, but my wife and I were looking to enjoy the rest of the night with some dancing and that did not happen. The music the band was playing made me feel like i was back in high, 2002, at a battle of the bands show. Not a good fit for the bar. Hard to dance to a backstreet boys song or punk rock music.

If you want to just relax and have a great time come here! Music was awesome, atmosphere was great! Erica was on her A game and watching her with others made me realize lots of folks like her there! Definitely coming back here when I go through San Antonio again! 🍻

Great place! Not crazy expensive either. Good for a group of friends to go dancing and they always have pretty good live music. It’s always busy which isn’t a bad thing! Also, BILL is an all-star bartender! He’s always movin’ & groovin’ with a smile and great attitude. Awesome service from him!

I have to say nice overall place since the remodel but terrible attitude not only from staff (bartender) but the manager there that night . Was over charged I explained and he really did not care one bit . Was extremely rude . I am not there to pay for others drinks. He said “oh well you know we are busy “. Watch your tabs people ! Not to mention truck got broken into called police and said it was not the only vehicle that night there that it happens to . Beware !

The Stetson Dance Hall is clean, well kept and the bartenders are attentive. However, there is no doorman to check patrons for weapons; there are some very short tempered and violent customers that have their rage further fueled by alcohol that go to the Stetson Dance Hall. There was such a guy on Christmas Eve 2022 that unnecessarily exploded in a rage on another customer and slammed his fist hard on to the bar top after the guy asked a woman to dance that the out of control guy had been talking to at the bar. DONT FEEL SAFE going to the Stetson Dance Hall for the reasons described. THERE NEEDS TO BE A COVER CHARGE OF $10 TO HELP KEEP VIOLENT AND RAGING PEOPLE OUT AS WELL AS DRUG ADDICTED AND ALCOHOLIC PEOPLE OUT.

One day I was having a really hard time pulling the stool out at the bar and fell on my back and then Erica came out from behind the bar and helped me get back up. She was so charismatic and just had the best vibe and energy that I have ever felt in a person. I 10/10 would go back again and fall on my back just to see her again. 🙃

The first time I went, I walked in with absolutely no money, hungry and thirsty, & i smelled like straight up BO. Erica bought me a drink and fed me some nice food (nachos), and on top of that gave me some deodorant and $50,000. I needed that so bad, i then went and bought myself a home. Thanks to Erica I have my own home. I recommend Erica because we need more people like her in this world.

Great service, always great bands, excellent place for date night with the wife and do some dancing, VERY affordable, staff is super nice and during cold months, you have to love the smell of the fire pit outside. Highly recommend!!!

Nice place with good drink prices and good music. However it seems like its becoming a lesbian bar. I dont have a problem with but its just not my cup of tea.

Awful display of violation of the Disability Act. Customer embarrassment. Very poor customer service, not even attempting to resolve the issue. Refusal to give out information of higher management to escalate and resolve the issue. I would love to be contacted so we can be treated with the respect we deserve.

Live music, awesome DJs in-between live sets. Drinks are a good price. There is a great vibe to this place. Great country bar.

Cool place chill if you want to be in a sports bar vibe with a band but not if you are a serious country dancer. The name of the place shouldnt be Stetson Dance Hall. Very misleading.

I go to dance and the floor is the worst & way too small for the number of people. With the amount of space they have, could have designed it better with a much bigger floor.Atleast put some sand on the floor...
