I recently had the pleasure of visiting THE BOX, and I cant recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the beautiful atmosphere. The decor is stylish and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and catch up with friends.The food here is absolutely fantastic. Every dish I tried was flavorful and expertly prepared. Whether youre in the mood for classic bar fare or something a bit more gourmet, THE BOX has you covered. The menu offers a great variety, ensuring theres something for everyone.The drinks are another highlight. The bartenders clearly know their craft, mixing up incredible cocktails that are as delicious as they are creative.What really sets THE BOX apart, though, is the friendly and kind owners. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you have an excellent experience. Mid afternoon stop. Very quiet. Waitress/ owner was very friendly. She kept us supplied with drinks and ran the kitchen as well. We had a good time. I would go back again.

Hands down, this is my favorite joint in Iowa City!!!! I was passing through the area and absolutely famished, and I’m SO GLAD I stopped in here to fill up on the grub and drinks!!! DELICIOUS!!!!!! Awesome ambiance, wonderful staff, incredible menu. I couldn’t be more pleased. If you’re looking for great food and in the area, this joint comes highly recommended. 5 stars 🌟

Stoped in for a bite and a drink. Wow, this place is amazing. The bartender was fun, efficient and made the best drinks. We loved the speciality drinks to choose from. The food was out of the world. Loved the bruschetta. So happy Iowa city has such a cool new place to hang out.

Try the Red Zone pitcher for 20$ a Friday night deal! Owner Server and Staff super friendly. Definitely a must go place for a night drink and music. Also, has an outdoor area.

Atmosphere is amazing especially to catch a sports game. The buffalo chicken sliders are to die for and they came out within 10 minutes of ordering. Service was awesome and I highly recommend this place

The cocktails were watered down and overpriced, and the wine I received tasted vinegary, was brown, and came in a dirty plastic glass, which was alarming considering it was $10. The truffle artichoke dip was overwhelmingly oily and was missing the crudites advertised on the menu, and were only served with tortilla chips presumably from a bag. The jalapeno poppers werent deep fried or coated with anything- they were hollowed out jalapenos filled with cheese and wrapped with undercooked bacon. Staff were apologetic and helpful in getting the wine and the dip taken off the check, which was appreciated. Unfortunately I cant recommend this spot, though!

This new bar is a total find! It’s got a cool vibe with amazing drinks and music. The bartenders are friendly, and the atmosphere is buzzing. Cant wait to go back!

Im more of a drinker than a food eater, so havent tried the food but the servers have treated me good. Prices arent unreasonable. Patrons arent obnoxious so nice atmosphere. I enjoy it.

Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Always make sure everyone feels welcomed and taken care of. Awesome drinks and great environment. Definitely one of our regular spots from now on

Great food , excellent service , beautiful outdoor patio, music is on point. Happy hour everyday 5-7 pm.Definitely will be back.

It took over an hour and a half for my food to arrive. During that time, there was a mix up and it caused my food to get delayed for longer. I ordered a refill of my beer and that took twenty minutes. It took 15 minutes to get the attention of the bartenders to grab my check after I finished everything. I get that it was busy, but this is way too long. Hopefully they hire more people sometime soon.
