I come here for all my vape stuff. They really know about the products they sell and I like being able to ask questions about hardware and e-liquids. Theres a nice variety of liquid options and they keep a portion of the stock rotating so you can usually find something new. I was also impressed at how they did me a solid when I had an issue with a product.

I had a fantastic visit. There were a lot of questions I wanted to ask and he answered all of them flawlessly. I ended up getting an awesome new tank and two new really good juices. The guy there was very knowledgeable and seem to enjoy helping me out. Will definitely be back for all my vape needs.

Bekka, Travis, I love you guys. Ever since day one everyone at this store has been absolutely fantastic. You all are hilarious, go beyond to help anyone with literally anything, you keep up with your selections, really listen to everyone and what they think. You guys are on point. You don’t want to copy other companies because you guys are great as it is already. I’ll be b&g forever honestly. With your female employee/manager being pregnant, she is still a million times more helpful then most other shops. A+ to this shop. And thank you for making me feel welcome and keeping a smile on my face while I’m in!

Went yesterday while out of town for a concert. Stopped and felt right at home. Really make you feel welcome and recognized! Also great customer service! Very knowledgeable about everything! Will be my one stop shop when I come this way!

Great staff and very helpful. I bought a vape on Tuesday, and it had great reviews. Thursday morning it stopped working. I tried everything to get it working again. I went back in to Black & Gold to see what was going on. They tried to help me fix it to no avail. They ended up swapping me for the same model and its working great. Thank you!!

Becca was awesome. I just upgraded from a pen vape to a box. She taught me how to properly maintain and use it. We demod a few juices that I might like and found two that I enjoyed out of several. I highly recommend anyone who is starting out,or just upgrading to visit this store. Becca is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I first started going there because it was close. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The environment maybe a little intimidating at times as regulars tend to hang out with some employees but theyre a lot of fun to talk to as well and they can make great recommendations as well as the staff!

I would like to properly apologize to this company for writing a bad review whatsoever. There were misunderstandings that easily arose and I was the one at fault. Not only did the employees politely push off the entire situation with wide-open arms, they went above and beyond to help me out today.I swear it, Im going to find a way to give back to you guys.Thank you so so much.

Good prices, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was new to vaping, and they didnt make me feel bad for not knowing the basics. Instead, staff members showed me how to do everything and made great recommendations.

My husband was trying to be nice and buy me some coils. Well we got sold the wrong ones. He went back and she said sorry it should work. Well it doesnt. I ended up calling and she said she would buy them from us for 20 bucks. Cant return them which I understand since theyre a tobacco product. So needless to say Im never going back there. Ill stick to other places where it wont take 3 times to get it halfway right.

I am new to vaping. I just got my first vape a month ago, and it was time for me to replace my coil. I went to every other vape shop around campus looking for a new coil for my Ijoy Baby Avenger, but no shop carried what I needed. They all said, Go to Black & Gold. So I did. On my way there I dropped my vape, breaking my bubble glass. When I got there I was happy to find out they carried Ijoy products, and they said they could help me with both my problems, and show me how to change the coils! So I made my purchase, only to find while they were helping me fix my vape, that both the coils and the glass I bought didnt fit my tank. Now they could have just gave me a refund, but instead they decided to just comp me a brand new, upgraded tank worth as much as my entire purchase, and they did it with a smile! They certainly earned my continued business. 5 stars does not do my experience justice.

The people that work here are super friendly and will actually give you quality input on finding a juice that you are looking for. The products that they are selling are usally the same ones they are using on their mods which shows that they belive in the quality of their products.

I needed a vape mod to vape my cbc epilepsy medicine. Cbd is exteemely expensive and the wrong mod will waist it. The staff at Black and Gold Vapors took it appon themself to literally, make absolutely sure, I had that device. It was amazing the careing personal approach and concern the staff took. They asked many questions and it seemed like before long they knew almost as much about epilepsy as me. The Smok G Priv mod and Big Baby tank they suggested did everything I needed to ensure that no juice would be waisted, receive my dosage most effectively, and not leak. The Avocado tank I also purchased will enable me to build my own coils to save even more money. Bekka built my first coil before I left, showing me patiently step by step how to do it. Then Bekka and her husband said to come back and they would continue to teach me how to build different coils, teach me about ohm readers, volts, and everything vape. They set up my G Priv before I left so I could use it immediately. The advise they gave me has been priceless. The items I purchased will pay for themself with in six months by conservation of my medicine. I now have two true friends that I owe more than simply being a loyal customer. Black and Gold Vapors excell at being a local brick and mortar business with a heart of Gold.

The staff here is happy to help you make the switch to an electronic cigarette that is healthier and fits your lifestyle. Whether youre a long time vaper or new to e-cigarettes, they have what you need. They have an enormous selection of regular juice, and salt Nic flavors you cant get anywhere else in the corridor. They have build kits, and starter sets. Theyre happy to help you learn the ins and outs of their products.Its a great place to hang out and talk shop. You can spend five minutes, or an hour in there. They have a nice lounge area for chitchat.

Felt right at home, even as an Awkward. After a vaping catastrophe the night before, they sold me some hardware, set it up for me, juiced it, and I was back at work in 30 min. Clouds were an issue driving back. Must learn to take smaller hits.

Amazing workers, great manager, and sweet set up. They are more concerned with finding the vape that suits you than they are with making a buck. Great store.

They dont back up their products or try to help you resolve issues with items you bought there not even a month earlier. Excuses. Blame customer. I would recommend Aqueus Vapor in Coralville. They are very helpful.

Bought all my vaping tools from them along with their house blend juice named Pegasus. Quality and customer service has been consistently good.

Quaint little store, very nice staff. Only downfalls in my opinion are the small selection of products, and the awkward location. I think this store would benefit greatly from relocating.
