My boyfriend and I are are from across the water and wanted to find a place to meet some of his old friends. He googled and found this place had karaoke on Thursday nights.Upon coming here, the parking lot looked dead. We came in and it was dead as well…. some older people were playing some virtual golf game. I even remember saying to him, are you sure you dont want to go somewhere else? His friends quickly arrived so we decided to see how things went. I surprisingly had a lot of fun! The place did not get crowded, but a couple younger people came trickling in, along with some awesome older people who loved to sing, dance crazy, and have a good time.If youre coming here to karaoke, the selection is so-so. The binder isnt as big as I usually see them… they didnt have Black Dog by Led Zeppelin, but lots of random stuff like Hannah Montana, etc.This place has daily drink specials ($5 somethings), which was awesome.If youre looking to go here, I would call to make sure theyre open. Prior to coming here, they had told my boyfriend they do close early if its terribly slow.

Yuppie Tavern is a great bar to stop by and enjoy a cold beer, glass of wine or shots of fireball. Darts when you walk in the door, but no pool table.Majority of the crowd like to sit on the deck and smoke while watching the game.Most nights fun crowd, often times live band, DJ or Trivia.

I wanted to like this place since I just moved to the neighborhood, but it was a mixed bag.There is a patio. Problem was it was where they sent the smokers and much too small for sharing. We found a table out there but it was full of dirty ash trays.There seems to be a regular bar crowd here - normal loud and rowdy bar atmosphere.Parking was easy 7pm on a Friday night, although the regulars were still showing up. There was a live band setting up. Given how small the joint is Im sure when its playing the place is insanely loud.We asked the bartender about what she thought of the philly cheese steak and the answer was its a philly cheesesteak. We had heard the sandwiches were worth trying, but that wasnt the endorsement we were expecting.On the plus side, we ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was darn excellent. I think going forward Im really hoping I can just order food out. Im not sure if thats possible, but Ill ask next time. The food is cooked outside in a food truck like trailer, but that didnt hurt the quality. It has a hint of maple in the smoking, nice bread, and a decent potato salad. The atmosphere isnt for me, but I did enjoy the sandwich immensely so will go back for it.

Weve been following a band around for a couple of years. The Yuppie has become our favorite place. Good food. Great staff. Love the decor. And it looks like they might expand in 2017.

Great little neighborhood bar with country kitsch, great live blues music on weekends, kicking karaoke on Thursdays and open mic night on Wednesdays. Well worth checking out. Right next to Yuppie Pawn and they share the same entrance.

I admit they had a live band and a party last Friday night. My friend told me to check it out. It wasnt packed when I got there. Maybe half full. First off I sat there for 30 minutes before they offered to get drink for me. Then it took them over half hour to take my food order. I trIed to get their attention, but they just ignored me each time. I didnt get my burger until 2 hours later. On top of all that, I didnt even get the jalapeño burger I ordered.

A most unusual place. when we came to the time for the local musicians to take over, I had to leave as the singers were so loud they hurt my ears. This was about 9:30 PM as I recall. The hired musicians were fine.

Free beginner West Coast Swing dance lesson and dance on Mondays. Lesson at 7pm. Dance party from 8 until about 11. Terry West is DJ and dance instructor.

Open Mic on Wednesday with Heather B. Its a blast. Good drinks and food. Super nice people. I Definitely recommend checking it out.

Loved the experience and the crowd... Bartender was great.... Karaoke on Thursday is a lot of fun good music to pick from.

Excellent food and live bands. If I ever visit Seattle in the future, I will eat at Yuppies Tavern.

Fun, relaxed, outdoor smoking section, relaxed people. Pawn shop ensuite.
