I’m a local, and I usually avoid this place because of the cover charge and the false advertising. NEON MOON? BROOKS AND DUNN WOULD BE ASHAMED. **THIS IS NOT WHERE THE COWBOY FOLKS GO TO BOOT SCOOT BOOGIE**THIS IS NOT A COUNTRY BAR. They even put the lyrics on the wall. *commence eye roll* so don’t come here if you wanna rock the jukebox because nobody here wants to hear some Jones. Anyhow it was my girl’s birthday and our inner Whitney Houston’s were dying to dance with somebody. So we went. We all had fun (who doesn’t with alcohol and music) but I’d personally only return if it was a special occasion. I paid WAAAAYYYYY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR MY DRINKS. And entry? How can you not have bathroom staff on deck but you’re gonna charge me a cover? Overall not worth it.

Bathroom is heinous. It feels like a true crime documentary. Drinks are WAY overpriced. “Random gun searches” for all males. My friend made this cute necklace with shooters for her friend who turned 21 and went ALL night with it in her purse after they checked it at the door but all of a sudden when she pulled it out to give it to her it was like TSA. Don’t go here rooftop is way better with cheaper alcohol. Only gave it one star bc zero isn’t an option. Also women can wear whatever they want but god forbid I as a male wear a tank top. ( forced to cover up by security)

Drinks are good. Entertainment great!! Definitely for a younger crowd.

The red head girl at the front took my ID and told me it was fake. She would not give it back and told me I had to call the police if I wanted it. I literally had to get the police involved to tell her my ID was in fact real! I will not be returning and I hope she is trained better at her job soon.

Pay 50$ for a new years experience and you can’t even go outside to get fresh air. These people do not care about your experience. Avoid at all costs.

Customer service is absolutely horrible. Blonde bartender was disgusting rude to me and my friends for no reason at all.

The bar itself was nice and even clean. The band was not that great. They had quite a few pool tables and drinks were good. Im just surprised it wasnt busier. I got there for about 1030 and it was dead, where as other bars on the street were crazy busy

I don’t what the cover charge for.. better places around the corner with no charge. Also expect to get searched and more bouncers than the actual people are in there. So ridiculously uncomfortable. Avoid it just plenty of cool better places around corner.

Fun bar with good music, just wish they had a few more bartenders on busy nights so you don’t have to wait 20 minutes for a drink.

Bar Staff was polite, friendly, and very competent. Security was helpful and friendly. Could use some newer pool cues... I had to go through a few until I found one that wasnt bent from normal wear and tear but it wasnt a big deal at all. We had a great time. Definitely will be back!

Weak. 10$/head to get in. Expensive drinks. Poor service (our bartender was working her tail off, the other, who had NO CUSTOMERS, just looked at us and didnt offer to help her busy coworker.) This is OS. Lose the cover, ease up on the prices, advertise and pack the place out.

Great atmosphere and great music.

I went there on a Friday night, Got there around 10, by 1130 it started to get a little full. Dance floor was empty the entire time, music was dated. Both bar staff was eating finger food easily in sight of customers, I watched one eat with her hands then serve a drink with a lime garnish which she obvious touched. No hand washing in between her personal food and food she touched for someones drink. Servers should always wash thier hands, especially during a pandemic.

Oceans springs favorite GAY BAR

This place sucks. It’s always dead because of the overly sensitive rude staff and twenty bouncers. Every other bar in the area doesn’t charge a cover but this $hithole does. Don’t waste your time. Walk right around the corner to the better places that treat you right.

Great bartender made a hot toddy that was fabulous. Charming environment also gave out fabulous grapefruit. Thank you and may this be a prosperous New Year for ALL!!!

We drove from Covington, LA to stay in Biloxi, MS for a friends birthday. We took an Uber from Biloxi to Neon Moon. We were told that there was a $5 cover by the doorman. After waiting in line for 20+ minutes we finally got to the hostess station. The hostess on Saturday night (3/25) who was wearing the red dress and tattoos (I don’t care what she wore or looked like, I’m just identifying as there were two hostesses) changed the cover price from $5 to $10 on a whim even though she charged the people in front of us $5 each. We explained what the door man said and he told her that he said $5. She said that the price was now $10 each or we could leave. So we did. And her inconsistency and rudeness cost her bartenders $300+ in sales plus tips. We won’t be back. We gave other establishments in Ocean Springs and Biloxi our money that night.

The bar personnel at this establishment was so rude. I am from out of town and this person that claims she is the manager was so rude. If I was the owner of this establishment, I would have a different front person that greets out of town guests. I have never in the 7 years coming to Ocean Springs dealt with any place with such rude, arrogant and unprofessional personnel. I would never go back there until they brush up on their HR issue. Disgusting behavior! I feel really sorry for the other wait staff, because they were nice and the head bar tender is ruining the culture. What a shame!

This place is under new management. No country. The party doesnt start until midnight and even then, its just people standing on a dancefloor occasionally waving their arms for a minute when a song comes on. Really, really lame crowd yet the only thing going on even on a Friday night. They dont do fancy drinks according to the bar tender (whatever that means). If youre used to good parties, this will be a disappointment but its exciting for the locals.

They do not play country music.....wow. I just moved to Mississippi from Texas for work. Came here with my husband to country dance. My husband had to BEG the DJ to play country. He played 3 songs the whole time we were there! 3 SONGS!!! How are you a country bar and not play country?! Such a bad experience.

My friend was kicked out for standing on the dance floor and watching me and my girlfriend dance. He went willingly, but I tried to ask him to come back in. The man is a doctor with 5 degrees and can understand his level of intoxication. He is not a threat to the establishment and should not have been kicked out.

Good spot. Pool tables. Good music (hiphop and variety). Mixed crowd. Military come here alot. Patio to also chill at with food. No smoking inside. Friendly vibe. Good security..(Zack and Steven are the BESTEST😁)...

This place really sucked when you hear a bar called Neon Moon you expect country music and it was total s*** men from Texas by way of Louisiana you expect to have some form of good country dancing you better lower your expectations from 8 to 0

Nice place. Good drinks. Got some crowd there also after midnight. One of the rare places around here that actually feels like a club.

This place always has live music on the weekends. Very popular place to meet up with others. The prices are reasonable. There is a cover charge most weekend nights. Occasionally there is a complimentary door drink with the cover charge but not always.

Nice clean place. There is security everwhere. Its a tad difficult to find, but once its found, its fun. Wide open spaces to move around. Great music. Great atmosphere without being insanely loud. A wide variety of music was playing. I cant speak to the bar service. Their cover is very competive. Its a nice place to have a great time. It was packed but not overly so.

Live bands, the bartenders are nice and very courteous, and quick to get your drink to you. The dance floor is small, but its very fun and also smoke free

I really loved this place. The music was good, the mixed drinks were alright and they had street tacos outside!

I never have a bad time always good and great and strong mixed drinks than some of the others close by.

Decent prices, but the place needs cleaning really bad. Cobwebs on the light fixtures and the ladies bathroom is disgustingly nasty. Sticky floors, an inch of dust on the baseboards, and more...ugh.

This place is a joke (to say the least). The staff and “security” especially. And, boy, do they think they are a bunch of somebodies... They paid for the 4 and 5 star reviews. Very racist too.

This bar profiled me because i was asian, i dont believe management meant to profile anyone.But there are very clearly bouncers who are profile peiple who are not of the majority.

They let me pay for a wrist band and then closed 10 miniutes later but the food was good
