I had Danny for a 90 minute hot stone massage and this was the absolutely the best massage I have ever had! I have had a membership to Massage Envy for the last 10 years which I use monthly. So Ive hot deep tissue and hot stone massages before. Danny found my problem and released the pressure and stopped my pain. Yes hes a 10.

The best deep tissue massage I got is the best I have ever gotten. The owner , Carmen, greets you, has A + customer service and experience coming from The Grand Hotel and Sea Island. My therapist came from Sea Island and used to work at a chiropractors office and did wonders for my neck. The price is unbeatable. A must if visiting SSI.

We had a package and it was an AMAZING massage but the mani/Pedi didnt include any special stuff...i.e. leg scrub, parifin etc so I was disappointed with that but everyone was wonderful!

Island Day Spa used to be a business that I supported until they charged me a full service fee for asking to reschedule my appointment the morning of due to my cycle coming on the morning of my appointment. Excuse me for not wanting to lay on your table with my legs butterfly open and a tampon string hanging out of my vagina. They did ask me to reschedule, and I’m not rescheduling to pay again and they already charged me for a service they did not perform. This is bad business. I was not cancelling. I just wanted to reschedule for after my cycle went off.

We did a girls outing at the spa and loved our massages and facials. Danny and Terese were awesome massage therapist. Best ever.

Danny is absolutely fantastic. His deep tissue massage was amazing and I so appreciate his focus on areas needing extra attention. I highly recommend him!

Got my second massage done here today by Danny.He was very professional from the time I walked in & throughout the whole process! He asked about any problem areas & I told him about my car wreck a few months back & what was bothering me & he made sure to really focus on those areas & more.

Wife was very happy with the folks and the service here. She got a brow wax and tint plus a full lash set.

It was my first time at Island Day Spa and only my second time getting a facial. Everyone is so welcoming! Missy R. did my Teen facial. She was ABSOLUTELY wonderful and SO kind! She recommended some skin care products to me. I was given a gift card that covered the cost of my facial but I would DEFINITELY spend my money there. ITS SO WORTH IT!

I worked with the ladies of the spa to book 16 appointments to be completed in one day. Every person RAVED about their service and many stated it was the best I have ever had. They communicated and organized the day so well for our large group. So grateful for their hospitality.

My massage was awesome. Kate did fabulous!! The owner is super sweet. I did have to make the person doing my nails speak to me so after a while I didnt try to talk to her. It took her a long while to start on my feet. She left me in the water soaking for a while. Overall it was a good experience. Its only a 5 because of the massage and the owner being so sweet and welcoming.

Danny gives the best massages hands down! Always finds the problem areas seems to know how much pressure is needed or how much you can handle. Takes the time to get to know his clients, really a great person and massage therapist! Wish I could convince him to move to my home state!

I had a wonderful deep tissue massage for 60 minutes from Terez. I get massages on a regular basis, and Terez gave me one of the best! And in addition, she was a very sweet and serene individual who exhibited kindness, even though we only exchanged a few words. I hope to get back there and have her give me a 90 minute massage when I return.

Wow! Purchased a spa package for my mother in law for her birthday. Massage, mani, and pedi! She loved it and had a wonderful experience!

I had my hair washed and styled for a wedding. The stylist listened to what I wanted and did a fabulous job! One of the few times Ive had my hair styled for a special event that made me happy! I wish I could remember the stylists name because she is awesome.

I had a wonderful massage with Laura. The warm towels were so relaxing I could have fallen asleep. Definitely recommend. I need to do it more often.

My wife and I had our 1st spa experience at Island Day spa and we are hooked! The heavenly massage I had with Laura was phenomenal! My apprehension was dissipated as soon as I met Laura.Then, I met my new best friend Lele for my man/pedicure! The youngun just took my breath away with her professional and personal touch! I laughed like an idiot with her and she sealed the connection with her goofy eye roll!God I had a great time! We will be back!

Great atmosphere. The staff is wonderful and immediately make you feel welcome. Highly recommend!

I won a gift card from my job back in December to Island Day Spa. I FINALLY went to get my winnings today 7 27, 2018. I got a pedicure, manicure, and a waxing and STILL have money left on my gift card. I am VERY pleased with my experience. The receptionist was sweet and Brittany was AMAZING. She immediately made me feel comfortable as if I was a regular customer. She was gentle, kind, and full of great conversation. Everybody there was professional and nice. The whole place was clean and organized. Ill definitely be back. Thanks again Brittany for making me lovely😉

My husband scheduled me a massage at The Island Day Spa, and I got a 90 minute Swedish massage. My experience at The Island was absolutely amazing!!! No detail was left unturned, and my massage was pure bliss! The massage table was heated. The music and the lighting were so tranquil, and the hot towels were perfect. The staff was very professional. I left the spa feeling so relaxed, and I can’t wait for my next massage. I highly recommend The Island Day Spa!

Love this Spa! Great find on Saint Simons Island. Behind the Harris Teeter in main area of Island-SO convenient. Therese is the BEST Massage I have had in a Very long time. Call early! Highly recommend!Brittany did my hair and OMG. She removed all the bleach blonde brassy and gave me a Beautiful warm ash blonde!! I LOVE my hair! Used it as profile pic I like it so much 😊❤️Everyone is SO friendly, Very clean and safe and a nice, easy relaxing environment. Highly recommend if you live here or visiting St. Simons Island.

Went for a Brazilian and the service was good. The woman who waited on me was very through with explaining what to expect and aftercare. During the treatment she detailed that she also performs the dermaplanting. Because of her knowledge and professionalism I trusted her and was ready to book another appointment but the comments of “if YOU can afford it…” or “it’s a luxury facial and very pricey” ruined my perception. Never judge a client.

The spa itself is a terrific place but the people and warmth really made the experience so memorable. Everyone was so friendly as soon as I walked in the door. I had a massage from Misty that was perfection. A true therapist reads your body as they work and she did exactly that, she focused in the right areas and used the perfect depth. I feel like so much tension is gone from my shoulders and neck that Im actually breathing easier. I dont leave a lot of reviews but when you leave somewhere wondering how soon you can make it back I feel like they deserve it. Cool spa with quality people and using quality products.

What an awesome experience! I had a 60 minute Swedish massage with Terez. She is amazing. She takes her time and makes sure she highlights any areas that are bothersome. She is very knowledgeable as well as to the causes of your aches and pains. I will never go anywhere else ever again. HIGHLY recommend!!

The King & Prince Resort recommended Island Day Spa for massages. I highly support the recommendation. My friend and I both scheduled hot stone massages for 60 minutes. It was the first time in my life I could have had a 90 minute massage. Megan was amazing. I would drive from Florida again to have another massage by her. She was an angel.

My then fiancée surprised me a few days before our April wedding with a full day spa package! Everyone at Island Day Spa was so nice, welcoming, and made our 6 hour spa day the most relaxing day ever. I was super stressed before the wedding and everyone from facial, massage, nail, and hair care were absolutely amazing. Our host also got us wine to enjoy and a great lunch to enjoy. It was the perfect day! Even my guy whos never had a full spa treatment before this experience thoroughly enjoyed himself! We will be back the next time were on the island for sure.

Loved this place! They did a wonderful job on my hair and my massage was amazing. However I wouldnt get my nails done here again, they did a French tip and it was tbh kind of gloppy and chipped off in some spots 2 days later I was disappointed.

Went above and beyond my expectations. I mentioned my rough breakup that i had the night before my appointment and the women took such good care of me. These were some of the sweetest women I’ve met and the quality of my services were exceptional. I would recommend this spa to anyone.

These ladies are amazing! I did a full day at the spa with a massage, facial and mani pedi Casey is a wonderful massage therapist and Cat did a great job with the facial and my nails. The facial was so relaxing, I fell asleep. I came back the next day and Cat gave me a FANTASTIC haircut. I feel great! Relaxed and beautiful. Thats worth the world. Love these kind women.

Island Day Spa is a phenomenal place! As a wedding present to my girls I got everyone one hour massages, and mani/ pedis. The girls were amazing, quick, and did a wonderful job.I also received a wonderful facial and couldn’t be any happier with the results. My skin was glowing for my big day. My fiancé also received a haircut from Brittany and he could not have been more pleased.On top of our time already spent there, Brittany and Lupita did our wedding hair and makeup for the day of. Both did an amazing job! Brittany did mine personally and I could not have been more thrilled. My makeup looked gorgeous as well as my hair. I received so many compliments throughout my wedding! I could not be more grateful to these amazing women.

The two stars are for the establishment cleanliness and the friendliness of the hostess and the technician I had. Without these, this would be a one-star review.My issue is with the quality and price of the service. I have had many Brazilian waxes (from Georgia to California) and this was one of the worst ones - mostly because of how much hair was left behind. The price only added insult to injury as it was one of the most expensive ones I’ve ever had; $70, before auto-gratuity (-___-).I think this place gets away with the level of service and price because they are the only place in the surrounding area that offers Brazilian’s. Regardless, I will be making the drive to Jacksonville from now on.

You can stop searching for the best massage in town! Island Day Spa has it! I had my first massage with them this afternoon and Terez is hands down the masseuse! She loves what she does and it translates in her gift. Thank you for getting me in on such short notice❤️

Booked a deluxe pedicure. The first 30 minutes of this deluxe experience was just sitting with our feet in the water. Followed by a sub par pedicure with an auto gratuity of 20%. Maybe the other services are better, absolutely don’t recommend for pedi.

I asked for a dry-cut trim and was given one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. Hairdresser did what she wanted and didn’t listen to me. I was overcharged and then upon checkout was told they automatically added 20% gratuity! I would like to decide how much gratuity the hairdresser deserves based upon the results of my experience. Small town amateurs charging resort-professional prices. The other spa services might be okay but based on my experience DO NOT use the hair salon services.

I went in for a 90 minute aromatherapy massage and derma plane facial during my trip to SSI. I had Terez for the massage and Missy for the facial. Terez did an incredible job at making me feel relaxed and her techniques were extremely advanced- I almost melted. Missy is extremely informed about all things skin care and my skin felt like GLASS when I left. I’m not even exaggerating I was blown away by the silky feel. This is not just some destination spa. These ladies take their job very seriously and are AMAZING at what they do. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I had a WONDERFUL massage with Terrie! It’s always hard for me to fully relax in a massage being that I’m in this industry, but I had zero problem shutting the world out. She focused on all my issues and worked them out without me completely being in pain. She gets a 10\10!!! Now to go home and nap 😍

I just have one thing to say...Go see Terezz for an incredible 1.5 hour deep tissue massage! By far the best I have ever had in my life. Paul (64 yrs old) from the White Mtns of New Hampshire...And Jeff from Ft Lauderdale. Well be back Terezz!!!!

My wife and I did a 90 minute couples massage. While we were in separate rooms we both felt it was the best massage wed ever has. Our only regret was that it wasnt even longer.

Today was my third experience at Island Day Spa. All three times I’ve had Missy take care of me. She is very professional and very easy to talk too. I will continue to go there and will continue to request Missy.

Owner said husband called the day before to let me know and that was considered a confirmation. Not only did I not receive a call nor voicemail, they won’t work to help out the problem. Carmen kept repeating the policy of the booker app. She also seemed to not want to hear what I had to say. I never pressed confirm on the email either. So that was two forms of not confirming.Yes it is my fault for having booked the wrong day, but now would like to just warn everyone to call and book instead of online book.Verbal confirmations should be a necessity when having an app that will charge you no matter what.Also filed a complaint with the BBB because they also charge what I can only assume is gratuity onto a no show charge?*After being contacted by the BBB, Island Day Spa did refund me $10 for the tip to their employee for the work they didn’t do.

The deep tissue massage and express facial were great. Terez did a wonderful job with the massage - I will be back for more of those in future.The mani/pedi however was disappointing, not worth the $70 i spent on it.Brow shape and tint was also good.

Wonderful experience! I had eyelash extensions, color, highlights and haircut. I am more than pleased! Lovely environment, professional and friendly staff. Lashes are my absolute favorite!!!!

Not that good of a service went there to get my Brazilian wax and I was not pleased with the hair left over and the irritation I had after. Everyone there gave off a judgmental vibe and they really are over priced. I will be going somewhere else next time for quality service and a better price.

Ok pedicure, nothing to remember. Massage chair was not as comfortable as most. Foot and leg massage were underwhelming. It seemed overpriced for the quality. And I was not impressed with the auto gratuity. Ive had better pedicures for a half of the price.

I purchased the full spa day package and spent the entire day relaxing with the BEST service from start to finish!!! Jan was awesome at welcoming me inside, the flow was of service was very comfortable & convenient, the hospitality was superb!!! I HAD THE MOST RELAXING, 5 STAR SERVICE EVER!!! You ladies ROCK!

Lee Lee did a wonderful job on my pedicure, she is careful and considerate. My feet look great and I felt pampered - it was just what I needed.

This is not a day spa!!! They do not have a relaxation room or locker room but they charge as if they do!! The sheets were soured, rooms are small, receptionist was disinterested (she wasn’t rude or friendly), the therapists were good! I was disappointed to say the least and not worth the money.

This place should have a warning sign out front. Absolutely despicable, disgusting and disrespectful customer service. Stay away from this unethical small business.
