Passing through when my truck broke down. Decided to stay on St Simons Island. So happy I did. Rafters was recommended a place to visit. I went two nights in a row. From the time I walked in the atmosphere was welcoming. Ashley, the bartender was very sweet. Even remembered my name the next day when we ran into one another Iguanas. Appreciate you taking time to talk with me and being such a great person. A Train, thank you, our conversation was awesome! Go Bucks!Can’t wait until I’m back on the island and get to visit you all again.

Pretty smokey on one side and not a lot of room to move around when it gets busy but the drinks are great... I dont know if Id pay a cover to go here though

Its everything you would expect from a club: pool tables, bars and dance floor. The vibe was good when I went, and the dance floor was packed.

We stopped in here twice on our vacation just for some cheap drinks and hangs and this place is perfect for that! It wasnt terribly crowded (granted we were there Sunday and Tuesday nights) and there were about 4 or 5 open pool tables to choose from. You can pick the music with the touch tunes juke box. The bartenders were friendly and make great drinks! 2 mixed drinks and 3 beers cost us about $30 (with tip!) The only minute downside is that you can smoke cigarettes indoors here, but if that doesnt bother you then this is a sweet little hang!

Great Vibe in the place. Bartenders are friendly and attentive and the happy hour prices are fantastic. No live music when we were there on Labor day weekend but that is probably because of COVID 19. Highly recommend this place especially if you are with a group. You can drink all day and not break the bank.

Falsely advertised on Google maps as karaoke. It wasnt. If you like cranky music with baaaaaad cigarette odor, I guess this is your place!

We stopped in on a baclorette trip. The staff in every area was friendly and fun. The DJ did a wonderful job of keeping the dancing going and making our bride feel special!

My husband took me here for my birthday which is New Years Eve. So they had hats and headbands etc set out for the new year count down. The bartenders were really nice and they played a birthday song for me. They have 2 rooms and the second room we entered seemed to be the actual dance floor area. The music was great and the bartenders fast and attentive. We left before the count down to get back to our kids, but out was fun!!! We had a blast!

Horrible!! The guy at the door wouldn’t let in a party of 20 due to one person bringing a personal drink. ”respect the door!”The bar was entirely too smokey and smelt like cigarette smoke also!!

Weve enjoyed several evenings here, great bartenders and the locals have been super friendly. Although it is a smokers bar the air extraction is awesome, great to play pool and darts and not stink like an ashtray

Always FUN!! Small place, packed with lots to do!! If you get bored, its your own fault! LOL Sarandon, the Sweet Beautiful bartender is AWESOME!!!

Cool atmosphere, wish they had draft beer.Plenty of pool tables, large dance room with music, TV’s and a great spot to watch football games.Will return

Awesome place to crab some cold ones with the boys and play a few rounds of pool. Some of the other patrons are…unique, but they don’t ruin the vibe. Also they have a cool little dance floor to let loose at the end of the night

Service and atmosphere is always fun. Drove up 200 miles just to have dinner and go to this great bar

Dude at door was disrespectful, kicked out over 20 people because of 1!! outside drink. Would leave zero stars if it was an option!! Would not recommend

Went with my wife after our anniversary dinner to play some pool and drink some drinks. There are ashtrays everywhere so I lit a cigar while we played pool. The bartender came over and said you cant smoke like that. So I put the cigar in the ashtray while I took my shot assuming she meant no smoking at the table. A few minutes later she came back and rudely said I just told you that you cant smoke that in here. I replied yes maam I apologize and we left. I dont plan on going back.

Best time ever, go to the Dance floor side and holler at the best Bar tender in south east GA KennyB , he invented the Purple Gatorade shot, he can make in flavor you want, he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet on St.Simons Island GA

Overpriced and whoever the overweight bartender is, should lose his job. Worst experience on the island, trashiest bar on the island with the most expensive drinks and WORST service. On top of that, the bar was empty and watched them kick 3 people out for wearing tank tops.. on a pier.. in a vacation town. Not a friendly place and you are not missing a thing if you DONT stop here. Do not recommend.

Never had my ID looked at so hard in my life. Door guys were pretty rude. Music on the dance floor side was really bad.. but coming from Atl Im used to better.Drinks were cheap though and bartenders were super friendly.

I mean, its a pretty cool spot but its pretty small and kind of weak the night a group of us went out. Might have been just that night because i heard it was pretty good but it wasnt it when we went.

For Such A Small Island Rafters Is Definitely A Decent Place To Attend. Came Out Had A Good Time And Left They Have Pool Tables And Darts. Didnt Drink Any Liquor On My Visit So No Input

Worst bar on the island. 4 locals and a local bar tender just like to screw with visitors. If you arent local avoid this place. Im not sure how this place is open. Dont believe good reviews. Must have hired an internet firm to up the ratings and post false positives.

Come for the nice billiards equipment because it’s the only spot that cares. Then you’ll want to stay because Kaine, Lauren, Caitlin, and Kenny treat you like family.

Love love love it. Definitely a hidden gem in SSI. You can see the sign, and the entrance, but most walk right on by. Most of the locals hang here and drinks are good :) check it out

Crowded. The only available dart board was broken. Electronic scoring. Limited bar selections. Service was good!

Music, pool and darts and great bartenders. DJ Thursday plays rock music. DJ also takes requests. Friendly environment with reasonable prices.

Wasnt feeling it. Bought one drink and it was not good. The music quality wasnt that great either. Three stars for first visit. Ill give it one more shot.

Careful here! They run your credit card (and give back immediately) if you run a tab. Sadly, after closing the tab with cash, OUR CARD STILL GOT CHARGED!! Disputing with credit card company.Update: After 2 emails and several no answer calls - they have made ZERO CONTACT in any attempt to resolve. Tells you something. Can I retract that one star?

Had blast..met some characters, met a friends baby mama (she was cool), wish dance floor was bigger though.. other than that nice lil place to chill, play darts or pool, or drink dance and my favorite hobby...GET TURNT!!

Pretty smokey bar with a rowdy crowd thats 90% guys. Not really the most enjoyable place, especially when there are lots of good alternatives in the area.

Great place for a cold beer, pool and a jukebox. No frills. No lace. Just a nice bar with 2$ Coors lights.

Its nice, been here a few times. They let people smoke but get mad when people vape so thats pretty odd.

Rafters is an okay spot, if you enjoy a crowded spot. The club/bar consists of 3-4 pool tables, a jukebox, and a bar!This club/bar earns a 3-Star Rating.

Not a bad atmosphere and it was pretty popping place, definitely trying out 1 night.
