La Santa

We went and saw Combichrist at this venue, it was a very small and intimate show at this location. I have been attending metal and industrial/aggrotech shows for 20+ years and this was easily top 3 due to both the small venue and performance from the band. The staff was friendly enough and there were places to sit and chill, it is very very tiny so plan accordingly.

My review is based on the experience me and my friends had last night.This is the worst place I’ve ever been and I’m being specific to the lower lever. The place was extremely overcrowded no ventilation it was hard to breathe walking around was a mission the place fell unsafe. The securities were rude I will never on my life attend an event in this venue even if I was paid for it. It was so hot inside you could see the walls sweating and leaking all the humidity and sweat from all the attendees. On my video you can see the artist completely wet like if he was under the rain.Horrible the worst venue ever.

Celebrate my daughters birthday on Valentines Day. Place was beautiful and the staff was great!

Went to see Inspector last night. Set time was 8PM on a Sunday, and set didnt start until 940PM. Its a small venue, standing room only, unless you purchase tables. The large tables are two bottle minimums ($600), and the smaller tables are $300. This is not counting gratuity which may or may not be the only way these ladies get paid. Drinking is about the only thing you can do here, since you cant dance as everyone is packed in like sardines. Wet slippery floors from the beer. Also there is no ADA way to get down the flight of stairs. They had little to no air flow, theres liquid dripping from the black painted ceilings from the humidity and sweat. People smoke inside (MJ and Tabacco), air gets stale fast, bring your inhaler, a mask is not enough. The DJ was bussin but again, you cant even dance, so shake those shoulders instead. Sound was at a good level, clear and sharp, people where kind. When set time started, mosh pit formed which made you get extremely personal with all the people next to you to make room. Guard tried to keep an open space by the bar but it was useless after the music started. My guess is they start late as others have suggested to sell as much alcohol as possible. In case of emergencies good luck, I only saw the stairway exit on the entrance. Overall, intimate venue, needs housekeeping improvements, air quality management, and ADA accomodations. Also, Inspector did a set on Saturday in LA, too and it was way more lit than here, so I feel the contrast on both events was stark. The air was bad.

Good smaller space for a show, though the view can be obstructed by columns. Friendly staff & comfortable atmosphere. Set below street level (basement?) makes it slightly difficult to access for those with mobility issues.

Great little downstairs bar in the heart of Santa Ana. They have bands, djs, different theme nights, excellent for the new generation and old. Great drinks, great sound.

Great music, great sound, huge screen that plays the videos of songs played, clean place and good crown. Nothing but good vibes. Saw Zinórbita, Tribute to Heroes del Silencio. It was fantastic

So much fun... been there two for Spanish Rock concerts and its a small venue... downside only 2 stalls in the womens restroom and its downstairs in the basement no ventilation it gets very hot and humid... the price for the concerts was very good and I got to see both artists very close, the crowds were fun totally matched my energy.

Great place to have fun, friendly staff and crowd, very clean, and the atmosphere is fun and sexy as well as GoGo boys. Ownership very caring actually took the time to stop by our table and say hi. They had a travesti show, which was fun and entertaining. Overall a great place.

The place is ok, the drinks over price more ice than liquor and the service not good either all the bartender on their cellphones. for me not a good experience I dont recommend this place to my friends

Good sound system, good vibes, good purple. I believe one of coolest things about the place is there is basically no cell service inside, so everyone is living in the moment instead of playing with the phone!

We went for the Selena tribute band. We got 3 hours of DJ and although he was talented, he didnt know how to read the crowd. Everyone was bored and sitting down the majority of the time because he was blasting that generic club mash-ups. If the entire crowd paid to watch a cumbia tribute band what do you think they want to listen to??? Uploading a picture to show how people were just standing around bored. So finally the band showed up and they rocked it! The performance was amazing! Best Selena tribute I have seen. It would have been 5 stars but you lost one because of the boring DJ set.

First time here. Had a great time. My wife and I were early for the Rock de Muertos show. Waited outside, talked with the security guys, (Yogi) who were real cool and professional. The manager, I didnt get his name, (but wore Orange Nikes) greeted us and said we would let us in early while the band set up. Yogi took us to the bar and took care of our first drink. Thanks man. We got a table up front near the stage. Perfect. Dj played good music until MODULO came on and the place was jumping. Good vibe all around. Bartender was really good. Fun crowd dancing to spanish rock. We definitely look forward to coming back here to catch other bands.

Food and service good. Parking eh! Walked a block not to bad.

I saw the stesdy 45s on their 10 year reunion good venue.

Its a great place for a venue in the downstairs basement. Brought my two buddies with me for the 10yr anniversary of The Steady 45s. Had a great time running into old faces from the Ska Rocksteady n Reggae scene here in SO Cal. Definitely looking forward to the next show here in the near future.

Cool hipster downtown Santa Ana vibe. Fun place to go every now and then.

Small underground place but affordable and convenient for local band shows

It was small place with no ventilation but overall for the event we attended it was decent. Who would have known goth and cumbias would go together yet somehow they do.

Nice small venue, has a restaurant up stairs with a full bar and projector screens. They were watching the canelo fight. If your there to watch its $20 unless your there to just eat. The stage is downstairs and has accessible clean restrooms. The staff was great. Thank you guys for a good time.

I went for Sunday brunch, and the food was so good, if I could I would rate this place a ten! The chilaquiles were AMAZING, the Mariachis were FANTASIC! Our server was so nice and super friendly, definitely would like her again! Definitely going back again 100%

Paid $30 for two tickets to see the Selenamos tribute band last night. At the time of purchase the website said doors open at 7:30pm. It was later moved to 9pm, okay not an issue. After arriving at 9:15, we only bought 1 beer and 1 mojito at the tune of $28 dollars. We left at 10:15pm when the band never showed up. Absolute waste of everyones time and money.The in-house DJ couldnt have possibly played his tracks any louder while everyone was waiting for the real entertainmentDont waste your time here what a joke

Absolute garbage venue, horrible sound, rude staff who rushes bands and patrons out on a Saturday night. Sound guy was 2 hours late and the promoter had the audacity to tell the bands their sets were running too late. They threw away my $8 modelo from the green room an hour before closing, turned all the lights out before people had finished buying merch. Assuming because staff was eager to get home. Do not go here, letting all bands I know not to play here.

This is a cool little bar/venue.Ive only been here once but for being a basement style bar it didnt get too hot evwn though it was pretty crowded for a concert.The sound of the show was good, lighting is there but dont expect a fun light show with the band.Everyone was friendly and service was great but if your claustrophobic this probably isnt the place for you. Its under ground and there are no windows. With that being said it still didnt get too hot or uncomfortable

Great place for live music right in DTSA!

It was so cold with a leather motorcycle jacket on that I had to leave before the end of the show and the sound system left a lot to be desired. Staff were great.

Viri is my favorite server. The manager makes us great drinks even when we let him know we dont drink alcohol. Their barbacoa quesadilla is my dish to go to. I keep coming back because of the great costumer service.

Its an excellent area for Darkwave subgenre; Dormence has great venues there. They have amazing bartenders. The location is also excellent.

We had a show at the Yost Theater and not being from around here, we weren’t sure where to go. Cevicheria Nais only had a few reviews because they only recently opened but we were feeling like ceviche so we have it a shot. It was a great experience and the staff was helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, very fresh and a good value. The restaurant was very clean.

We came to la santa for Sunday brunch amd it was amazing. The food is really good amd the service was great. An added bonus is the free Mariachi. We had a blast amd will be back again soon

Nice clean place, good service, band rocked BUT the DJ playing before and after band was terrible. If they get good DJ the place would be very much fun!

Came here pride night. It was interesting. Barely anyone was there. Felt like the club for loners and outsiders but I was into it. Some of my friends werent into it so we left pretty quickly. I would definitely check it out again to get a better feel for it.

The ceviche was basically cucumber with lemon and fish juice... Theres not much variety on what to order to eat and everything was like $15 and up Wich is ok if the food was good but it wasnt... Would give zero stars if I could, I wouldnt recommend this place at all.

Chilaquiles with birria are delicious. Chorizo and eggs burrito are just as good!!! Im not a pancake type but these were an absolutely must have....

Cover band los caifanes/jaguraes was over 3 hours late. Never one to complain but thats ridiculous! Band got there 2 hours late set up in 10 minutes then disappeared for another hour. I would give a negative star if I could!

I bought tickets to see transmetal and leprosy, on November 2022, it was postponed to December 2022 but the band never showed and the venue never kept updated any news

Dope Place, Went and performed with BreadKamp Fat Rob JBix, Security was cool, drinks were on point, all in all a great experience, i would recommend it ⭐️

Lasanta hopefully will stay open in a part of santa ana dominated by cultural establishments. gentrification has made lasanta possible and you will like the multi-use venue. the shows are underground in a dark erie lit setting. they have couches to kick it on and lots of bar stools as well. the stage unfortunately is pretty low to the ground because the ceiling is low. drink prices are very reasonable. parking is a bit difficult, look for a parking garage or satellite lots which have self pay. watch out for johnny...he is always on the prowl.

Friendly staff, nice place, good prices. I have not had food yet. Once I do, I will decide if its five stars

Caught Ben Böhmer here at the underground basement level. Loved it. It was a very intimate dj set, the mood was right 👍. I hope they bring more house / techno DJs here.

I attended a Mexican Ska Inspector concert and had an incredible time, the place is small and thanks to that I was able to be closer to the artist! Good service

A very small place.Now three times they are lucky enough to have me as a client.When the tribute to Luis Miguel;It was good, they play rock in Spanish, pop, cumbias, salsa, bachata, a little bit of everything.When I pay tribute to Caiphans;It got good. The DJ doesnt seem to come out of the same.When he was lazy and Co.They took it away...The advantage of that congal!, that since it is small,; You dont have the artist that far away...But the bad thing is that if it is filled, it is heated only by human heat.Even the walls were sweating. (Its not complaining), you dont have to be rude either. You cant do everything in life.And there is the humility of the lazy person. I cant stand it. He just told a little joke and said: look! Even the walls are sweating!But it was worth seeing..... And he continued playing without complaining about anything.Of course... He ended up bathing in sweat.How cool. *does not lose humility*Haaaa. That fucking DJ doesnt come out the same.So much music and it plays the same thing...No mom........sss
