The turkey burger is real turkey not ground up meat had it with mushroom onions and Swiss so flavorful . Muahi fish dinner $22 bucks was absolutely delicious it had tomatoes broccoli rabe crab meat and rice so good. Candace the bartender was so nice !

Food is good and they have a decent happy hour menu. The deck is covered and is on the smaller side with a small bar. Service can be slow at times but I think most places have staffing issues so be patient.They did add more bathrooms downstairs so that is a plus!Update - food is still good, service is great. Could be the last good day for sitting on the deck with good weather.

Always have good service here. All of the food we had was delicious. However, they have been changing the menu recently and the prices are too high. Might be why its so empty.

Went to another network event sponsored by BHBC.biz held at “The Deck” Everything was Excellent! We had a buffet style setup with some of their best food along with the quickest bartenders serving up their best drinks! Highly Recommended!

Great atmosphere. All of the food came out as ordered. Buffalo wings had a nice heat to the sauce. The French onion soup was delicious. Our server was great and quick with the refills.

Went last night, food was awesome, bartender was so nice! Havent been there in like 8 hrs. New owners have done a great job! Cheese steak egg rolls were delicious! Will be going back soon!!

Met the fiancé here for dinner and the only positive was the service. My Gin and Tonic was flat, her cocktail just wasn’t good. I ordered the harvest salad with flank steak mid rare, I got a salad with chopped up mini cubes of microwaved meat. Shoe leather is more tender then this steak. The wife to be had a taco salad that was passable but very much lacking in flavor. Two cocktails, an app, two salads, two beers came out to 80 dollars. Too high a price for the quality of the meal. The outdoor deck is nice.

Burger was delicious. Lots of toppings, thick patty and melted cheese. Bacon was crispy. Shrimp quesadilla was delicious. Everyone was happy.

Had to update my rating, as unfortunately it was even worse than before. I haven’t been here in a while, mainly because of mediocre food and mediocre service.Today I saw “Best Wings in Town” on their electronic sign, so I thought I’d give it a try. False advertising. They were terrible. Soggy and completely smothered in waaayy too much wing sauce. Several of the wings had broken bones.I have to say the tater tots were great.Service was just ok. We found ourselves waiting a lot.I ordered a double whiskey drink. It was about the size of a single anywhere else. I asked the waitress and she confirmed it was a “double” but you could tell by her facial expression that she agreed that it was a pretty pathetic double.I should’ve taken photos, but I unfortunately I did not.From someone that lives less than a mile away, take it from me and just go somewhere else.

Stopped in last night for drinks and a quick bite. The bartender, Candace, was great. A+ service! Friendly, personable and made good drink and food recommendations. Specials were decent as well. Try the mussels. Great food. Great service. Will definitely be back!

My friend and I wanted to grab a drink (6:30pm on a Sunday, thought it would be chill). Sat at the bar and were immediately approached by a highly intoxicated man who wouldn’t take no for an answer. His friends eventually took him outside and wouldn’t let him back in after he started getting too loud in our faces and touching our arms. Had to call my family to get us safely to our car. Bartender did absolutely nothing the entire time. Didn’t feel safe here and won’t come back.

Everything about this place is great. I love their food and drinks. The bartenders are amazing 😍🤩

I stop here now and then when Im in the area always a good crowd, working class and genuine people. The barmaid is quick to refill your pint with a clean cold fresh glass.

This used to be a favorite of my wife and I. Lately the food has not been on point. I ordered a steak medium and it came out well done. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and it was as hard as a rock.

Last minute decision to stop for food. First time here, heard the food was good. Expected to find the dining room open, but it was empty, including staff on a Saturday evening. Option was outside deck or bar, so we did the bar due to the temp outside. Roast pork sandwich and fries were good. We both ordered it, mine without the long hots and broccoli rabe on the side. The Rabe could have been cooked a little longer, my husband said the peppers were not hot but had a nice flavor. Fries were crispy but not overdone, similar to a twice fried texture and a nice portion. The service was good and the wait for food was reasonable. We felt a little out of place at the bar since they all seemed to be regulars. We will not be going back but takeout is an option we may consider.

Food was good (Cuban sandwich) but service was mediocre at best.

We had reservations specifically for outside deck. We arrived and were placed inside with a blasting D.J yelling and playing music. We were a group of 14. We couldnt even talk or hear ourselves. They finally sat us outside, after we complained about the loud music. The food was ok. Service slow, food arrived slow but they were busy.

My sons college team had a gathering there. The bar service was great and friendly. We ate on the outside deck. It had multiple tvs and heat lamps. Not sure if the food was from there but it was good as well. I really enjoyed the square pizza.

Okay food the crispy chicken sandwich chicken was soggy and wasnt crispy the service was very good the waiter was very nice and helpful the inside of the restaurant isnt that great for kids in the bar its loud and people and it obviously smells like alcohol but the deck is nice for children

This place is great. Its getting better and we really enjoyed our last visit. The one thing I like is that they dont blast you with sports television ! Who cares about stupid sports junk ! If we are out on a date night, we want an atmosphere where we can talk to each other without too much noise.

Went here for an office party. The food and drinks were great! The waitress was very nice, but I think it wouldve been good if she had been able to check on us a bit more frequently. Still would definitely go back! The mussels were my favorite!

I’ve been going to the general for Monday wings forever. Just picked up my order and the bartender charges full price for Monday $8.99 wings - all of a sudden now pick up wings are $14. Nowhere does that special say dine in. Rip off.

Food was good but really slow, server said that the order didnt go through, we were in a hurry and I ate my sandwich in the car ride home...server was really apologetic.

Great food, bartender was friendly and attentive.Met my Dad here on a Sunday afternoon for drinks and lunch for my birthday. I had never been to the General all my younger years and had heard it had been recently renovated. The inside is fabulous, would have loved to have sat outside, but it was a very lovely warm day in late September and the bar was quite busy, and rightfully so.Hope to return many more times!

Their buffalo shrimp is a little different than im used to. They dont fry the shrimp, but it still had a nice taste. They ran out of chicken so we couldnt get the nachos. The wings were good & so was the steak egg rolls. The staff was nice and fast with our service. There is a 75min time limit on the outside dining since the inside isnt open yet.

I really didnt like that the staff were sitting around laughing and talking at the table in the corner watching us the entire time. They were loud and distracting. The meat was tough and hard to chew. My husband liked his food. It had a great atmosphere otherwise and was clean. The service was good.

We held our sisters 60th birthday party at The General Deck-Bar-Grill. Every single person who attended the party loved this venue. We had the party out on their beautiful screened-in deck! Everyone had a ball!The food and drinks were great; the bartenders were nice and accommodating ; and the co-owner, Edwin was very kind and helpful.Thank you, General Deck-Bar-Grill!!

Great place to enjoy outdoors or in. Wings are fabulous. First time ever disappointed in what I ordered. The chicken sandwich was al bread, two tiny pieces of bacon, chicken and thinly sliced Avocado. I like to taste whats inside the sandwich. Otherwise service was great and so was the evening.

Been there twice to eat and both times were good experiences. Nice menu. Buffalo chicken flat bread was really tasty. Burger was good. Bartenders are always friendly. Fries are excellent.

This is a great semi dive restaurant/bar. The wings are always good. The service outside is kind of lacking, the waitress didnt seem to want to serve us so kept making eye contact and then walking away. She was the only person working the deck at that time, so Ill give her the benefit of the doubt. But the bar was packed and I could see the other patrons were also upset with the service.I ordered the burger option that comes with a fried egg, and my only modification was no cheese/medium rare temp. When it came out there was cheese it and the egg was overcooked. The waitress gave me that look like dont complain and just eat it. Im lactose intolerant so I cant have it, it wasnt like I was trying to cut calories. She took my burger back with a smile. She came back 5 mins later, so I knew they didnt cook me a new burger.The kitchen must have peeled off the cheese and then tried to steam the rest off. I found bits of cheese still stuck to the sides of my burger and under the egg.I also didnt get a new egg. Instead the egg was even more dead and crunchy than before because it must have sat under the heat lamp while they played with my burger. Overall, didnt eat the burger and asked the waitress to take it off the bill, which she did.Will still come back for wings and beer, but will stay away from the rest of the menu.

Food was good...hadnt been there in a few years. The renovations they did actually improved the appearance externally and internally. They still have that awful trough in the mens room and that dangerous spiral staircase to go up there. Staff was nice. Surprised to see items like brussel sprouts on the menu now.

Food was actually descent - our wings were yummy . Service was so so - I think if the blonde bartender had went home , the darker hair bartender would of been a lot more attentive . The blonde was so consumed with herself she took away from the night -

Delicious food with lots of variety! Outside seating was a plus too... Nice views and fast service. I got clams this time around and they were to die for. Great experience. Look forward to my next visit.

Went here on the recommendation of my wifes co-worker. I couldnt have been more disappointed. The food was jus average but the service was horrible. Our server was unable to answer any of our questions about the food and even after going to ask someone she returned with answers that were incomplete and insufficient. When asked what was their house red wine she didnt know and when she went to find out she told us theres one that start with a c and a mer something. The deck is nice but the music was too loud (Friday at 5:00) and they have no way to block the sun which is blinding when it sets. I dont see us making a second trip.

Just ate the Mahi fish tacos last night, as Ive ordered many times. This time, it was spoiled. I would up getting food poisoning from the bad fish, in a really bad way since last night. Still sick.

They did a very nice job on their recent remodel inside and out I must admit however their buffalo wings that were so so good before the renovation were quite a disappointment this time around.My 4th star is solely on here for the very lovely Audrey at the bar. She quite obviously was popular with the regulars and inviting to all.I really owe a shout out also to Karen, a long time barkeep here who was off this particular evening.

First time back in 20 years. Due to living in another state. Now I am back home for good. Enjoyed stopping in for a while the other night. Will definitely go back again

The wings here are great, theres nice outdoor seating and prices are good. However outside of wings the food is unimpressive. It can also be cramped and loud inside, with no ambiance and slightly uncomfortable chairs. I would say its worth it to go if you have one of their frequent Groupon offers. However, these offers specifically exclude wings, so perhaps not.

We have been back several times...Love the Hangover burger and just recently did the all you can eat crab legs. Also liked the steak tacos on taco night. Always a good beer selection...Flower Power is my go to but the Victory Pilsner went nice with the crab legs.

Ordered a bucket of wings to go. When we got home started eating- they were dry and over cooked. Called to tell them this and they said they can’t give me money back because the wings are too expensive now. They told me the next bucket is on them. I’ve been trying to get a hold of the manager for weeks and not a word back

We sat on her outside deck. Best part is I didnt rush us out of there.Hadnt seen a friend in a while and was able to sit and talk for quite some time.

First time at General deck -bar and grill while up visiting in southhampton pa the French onion soup very good and the cheese steak egg rolls also very good my Bartender Angie recommended the cheese steak egg rolls and plus the people in the bar I met very nice had a good time can,t wait to go back..

The food and service is very good. Bartenders are great, Kate is very good and personable.Had the the tacos with pico sauce the first time-will not disappoint! Second time had Ceasar salad with Mahi Mahi and was cooked just right.

Wings very good, drinks reasonably priced, service excellent, French onion soup extremely salty. Pretzels seemed microwaved and beer cheese was cheese whiz. Good atmosphere and good specials. Will go again to check out game day.

We have attempted to go there twice to sit outside and have dinner. Both times there has been a catered party taking up most of the outdoor seating. Then the rest of the seating is first come first serve. No hostess, no organization. After speaking to a server and the manager to let them know we would like a table outside (both of them mentioned there was a table leaving soon), I stepped inside to get a drink whe we waited. Upon going outside, there was someone else seated at that table. We asked the manager if that was the table they had mentioned to us he said, yes, but they have been waiting a long time. I pointed out that they arrived after us (since I saw them getting out of their vehicle) and he just shrugged his shoulders. We finished our beers and left. We will never be back.

Went for dinner on Monday night. It was wing night . So we got that and they were big and meaty . Also got French onion soup.

New owners made the place lovely. Wasn’t crazy about the nachos special at an eagles game but the rest of the menu is great, the beer choices are extensive and the revamp of the outdoor deck gave so much more seating room I love it!

Burger was cooked to perfection, cheesesteak egg rolls were soon good. Pretzel could have been cooked longer for me but came out quick so yummy.

Its a really good bar and grill that is straightforward and nice to relax at. Great service all the way around and a nice atmosphere. If I had to say one thing I would recommend The Hangover Burger. Perfect after a few drinks.

Love it here! The bartenders and servers are absolutely awesome and are the reason I love coming here with friends. They also have a killer happy hour that starts again at 10PM too, great food, great beer, and great service.

The remodel of the restaurant was quite nice, however I do have to take off points for the appetizers and food coming out of the kitchen at the same time, and for the waitress asking if we were ready for the check with the majority of food still on our plates. Only one star comes off though because the food was quite good.

Love this place. Down to earth and fun. We went there on our 3rd date . Took a ride on his bike and we wound up there. Five years later , this past September, we took another bike ride there, it hasnt changed. Love the outdoor bar.

My wife and I went here a few weeks ago and had a great meal. Unfortunately, the second time was not the same experience.The good? Decent dive bar atmosphere, and the bartended made caramel apple sangria that was great. Live music was nice but loud enough that two rooms away we had to yell.The French Onion soup was so salty that you couldnt eat more than a few bites. It did have a nice amount of cheese and a good burgundy flavor, but the salt killed it.The garden salad that I ordered as a side was entirely the hard, white parts of the iceberg lettuce. Several pieces had browning on the edges.The killer was the entrees. Her burger was cooked well but had no flavor. It came with cold toppings - lettuce, tomato, pickle. The pickle was the saddest green thing Ive ever seen. The lettuce was entirely brown and inedible.My French Dip was simple, but the beef wasnt juicy or flavorful. The au jus was again so overly salted that it was inedible.Salting is one thing, but wilted brown lettuce in a salad and as a burger topping are inexcusable oversights. Wont be back.

This a small lovely bar I enjoy coming any season, they also have a deck space in warm season. Most of all I love special they have each Monday, cheap beer and complimentary buffalo wings

I went with a group of people after work. The staff is very nice and willing to accommodate you. The night I went on was burger night. They have a variety of burgers as well as other good food.

Best happy hour around , food and drinks are half price . Long island iced teas just $2 ! Also beautiful outdoor seating on open deck with overhead cover to block rain and sun .

The wings at the new General do not come close to the old General Davis. I wish they would go back to the old recipe. One nice thing is that they did not change the nostalgia of the 2nd floor mens room. I will go back to give the place a second chance.

Known for its wings when it was General Davis. Now it has all around good food outside of the bar food. I recommend the outdoor seating.Still a good bar.

No one acknowledged my friends and I as we arrived and we sat ourselves outside. We sat for 30 minutes without anyone coming over to us even though we saw servers just talking at tables. We were so embarrassed we got up and left. I see other reviews like this so it must happen a lot.
