Heat Bar & Night Club

This was my first time at a bar after turning 21 and the atmosphere here is amazing! Everyone is super respectful and it’s an awesome queer space. Saw the Lady Gaga show and it was top tier!!

Depends how much you drink, but they are strong if you’re a light weight ;). Door Cover varies each event between $7~8(local), $15(Ru Paul’s drag race event).Brutal honesty is what I do, the low down: been going here for 3 years now, seems to be the one of the four “gay friendly” clubs/bars in the Wilkes barre-Scranton valley. Lovely staff, great time each time, diverse age range, and plenty of dancers tearing up the floor. The past couple of years there seems to be a influx of college girls with their cis male companions (specifically) that don’t make it exclusively a “gay club full of men” but that’s because there’s local colleges up the block and adds diversity for a change. There is a little outdoor patio to smoke/ vape and get out of the blaring atmosphere of the club.The bathrooms are sort of gender neutral don’t get surprised when a cis male enters the “women’s bathroom”. That’s normal.Strictly have dance music, EDM and pop, rarely Hiphop/ rap music come on. Same owner as The Mines.

Me and my coworkers went out two Fridays ago did not know what to expect have not been to a gay bar in a long time. It was absolutely so much fun loved the drag show. The bartender was on point all night. Security guard was very nice and we are coming back again tonight. Looking forward to dancing. Hopefully they play a little disco. Loved Betty Whitecastle she came over to us and introduced herself, and she was super friendly

Long shot but at 2:50pm a lovely person accidentally called me from a private number and I never got their number to text or call them. Their around 60yrs and own or work for a club in Wilkes-Barre and asked me about being a manager. They wanted to be friends and I just wanted to find them and thank them for being my day. They know me by cedric

Its a awesome place great people but got left drunk and alone and no one would give me a ride home so wasnt that great

Great bar, drag shows are neat. A really chill place to come and hang out and have the cheapest prices.

I bought booze and brought a bottle...twisted tea.. because of their prices for a single drink. Was given hostility when confronted by the owner. Threats of assault and to be dragged out if I didnt throw the beer bottle out. The venue is a dump, the staff have typical gay boys have menstrual attitudes. Only positive attribute this place has comes from its customers. Unity. Without its customers the place would get what it deserves. Vacancy..

This bar was one of the first that welcomed me and made me feel okay to be who I was. The staff is always welcoming and the crowd is always nice. The shows keep me entertained when I make it in and the drinks are exceptional. I have been to a large mix of local bar and Heat is definitely on the top of my list. I never feel ashamed to party or to be who I am. Will definitely be back in for more!

Great place and the bartender rob is super cool and great at his job I never seen a bartender move so smoothly between so many customers without getting flustered!! And he is super cute ;)

So welcoming and friendly. Great DJs, amazing drinks, fun atmosphere. It may take a few minutes to get a drink on a busy night, but thats just because a Friday or Saturday can get extremely busy. But I assure you, a 5 minute wait for a drink is well worth it when you get one!!

Great atmosphere! Great Service! However barely anyone dancing and DJ didn’t take requests. Definitely would’ve danced more if I knew the music/older stuff.

I moved into NEPA about a week ago. I immediately looked around my area for any gay establishments. Heart is the only one I found. One Thursday night I had some free time so I sought them out. I arrived early to look around and talk to the bartender.It was easy to find with a beautiful sign that is very visible. Once inside I easily struck up a conversation with Evan, the bartender. My intentions were to have a single drink and be on my way. However, the promise of karaoke kept me there a couple hours.Bottom line is Ill be back. Friendly staff and patrons.

Halloween night. Movie Monday nice relaxing atmosphere. Im not being forced to listen to any obnoxious stories. No rowdy people. Attentive bar tender. I may make this a regular Monday night thing.

HEAT has become my second home. Karaoke is phenomenal; the drag shows and competitions are fierce, and the people wholeheartedly embrace anyone living their authentic lives. I am so grateful to have found it.

I love that I can order food til 130am, most bars do not have kitchens that accommodate that late into the night. On top of that I absolutely love the homemade macncheese bites (with a side of ranch is my fav) and their thin crust pizza!

Called in and asked if they were busy 2 times and hot hung up on both times... so if the person answering the phone is that rude Im not going to bring my party of 24 people here....

Food good . DJ trash night ofJune 11th . Asked to play requested song and he said no. Little racist . Owner amazing.

Great staff , great entertainment my fave days are Friday and Sunday... yummy bar good good music good crowd. The decor is always in season :) check out the dance floor !!!! 😙
