I’m leaving a review for an amazing employee who helped me while visiting my family in Wilkes Barre PaHer name is Mary Cullum and I was so impressed with her performance/ personality and helpfulness that I promised myself to take the time to write one because it’s not every day we meet such amazing people that do that anymore!I live in another state and visited the store for cigarettes and cigars for my husband but bought more because she was super knowledgeable about so much in the store.Listen, a warm personality and beautiful smile means the world to me and I didn’t feel like I was a bother while she was helping me !I can’t wait to come back to visit again and most definitely will be coming back and hopefully will see Mary again !Thanks sweetie for my experience because I truly appreciate it !

Sick of the disrespect the people who work here have for customers who they assume are younger. My mother comes here often and wanted the company so my boyfriend and I went with her, I’m 22 and he’s 24. I’ve been carded at this place multiple times before, which is fine, however if you’re gonna have the policy to be 21 to enter the store, card people at the door like you’re supposed to. Train your employees to treat people like people, there was NO excuse for that employee to talk to me and my boyfriend THROUGH my mother. Asking HER if we are of age and if we have ID’s. He spoke to us like we were children when we weren’t even in line yet. We bought a candle, and he carded us both. My boyfriend wasn’t even the one buying the candle and he was carded. But the issue was the way the employee treated us, with nothing but condescending remarks and talked to us like we were children. Extremely disrespectful to us for no reason, we just wanted a candle, not to be treated with condescending tone and remarks and disrespect. Absolutely sick of it

Traveling from New Jersey- wanted some cigars while I enjoy the view of this beautiful town from my hotel. The person at the register is very friendly. I definitely will be returning to this place and I highly recommend it!

The 2 workers in the Smokin Joes store on 309 Wilkes Barre right now at 330 on aug 9 2021 were ignorant and didnt listen to anything I said or asked about.. Both workers were rude and seemed like they had a problem. Ive been a Smokin joes customer for at least 7 years now and never had a problem like this its actually the newer employees of the store this store on 309 has always been a great store to go to but now I think Im going to have to look elsewhere for my tobacco needs. I will be getting there names and reporting them. My usual experiences in this smoking Joes is always fabulous never had a problem there before I dont know if its the new holiday help because they werent normal workers that I encounter there all the time. All the other workers theyre tremendous and helpful all the time this isnt a bad review on them workers or the store its a bad review on the workers that were working on that day.

Very nice customer service I wont lie .and the Sonoma cigarettes are 6 dollars and change. They also have lotto tickets.

Luv this place it is a one stop shop if in need of party goodies..... The lady behind the counter is very polite,respectful, her voice says I am in charge but I am here to help with what yours needs are has far as smoking or alcohol. Not to mention SMOKIN JOES could not have had a more PRETTY BEAUTIFUL behind the counter. She said she likes working for the company and moved here (Wilkes-Barre,Pa) with the company. Very nice lady she needs a promotion,raise or to be treated with great respect

I came to this store 3 times to buy a battery for my ecig. Each time they handed me a battery without any packaging that they keep in the case below the counter. Each time the battery lasted less than 5 minutes after fully charging it. It makes me believe that they are selling USED ecig batteries, hence the lack of packaging.

Great place to get lottery tickets..

Good place to buy items for anyone who smokes. I personally don’t smoke but it’s convenient for me to go in here for the lottery scratch offs when I am in the this particular area. Staff is very nice and they treat their customers great. Now that they added a part of the store to alcohol, I think they will do even better business.

Not a very friendly environment, employee didnt greet or offer to help us at all. Their glass is overpriced and it seems like they sell bowls separately from water pipes, for extra cost, which is absolutely absurd. I didnt confirm this because like i said the employee was kind of oppressive in a sense, so I didnt ask. Not my place of choice...... Go to Magikal Garden or Primal

My latest experience at this place was rediculous. I asked the girl for a tub of longhorn. They had 2 tubs left on the shelf. One had a $2.50 off coupon on it, the other did not. I watched her deliberately move the tub on sale to get the one that wasnt. I told her to give me the other one like anyone would. She acted like I asked her to run some laps in the parking lot. Then the other stellar employee came over,without even looking at the other tub and lied by saying its stale. The girl asked if I still wanted it. I said yes of course, its not stale, hes a liar. These tubs are put on sale by the company that they buy from as promotional. Not bcz they are stale. Nice employees huh!

I went in because I was curious. I was half looking for vaping supplies but I went in for mainly curiosities sake. I looked around and noticed they had a large selection of vaping equipment. I ended up getting a battery unit for e-cig setup very reasonably priced. The young lady that helped me was courteous and knowledgeable about her merchandise. The e-juice they had was weak so I didnt buy any of that but the outstanding price of the e-cig hardware more than made up for the weak juice. Ive been vaping for a good 7 or 8 years and Ive been in quite a few vape shops. All the vape shops Ive been in have a certain atmosphere. Of course because they cater to their clientele. Absolutely understandable. Me, being an old lady, I am not your typical vapeing client. So when I go to a vape shop I feel out of place and intimidated. Not so at smoking Joes. I wish I could remember the young womans name who waited on me. I felt extremely comfortable while we completed the transaction. I give smoking Joes a strong 5 stars. I will definitely be a return customer.

We usually get Chris cross tobacco and tubes to make our own cigarettes we have been going here for many years and have always hes always had a positive experience

Great place that sells everything from pipe tobacco, cigg tabacco, filters, rolling machines, bowls and now booze! Excellent place at very reasonable prices. I go here for all my smoking needs and its the best priced from any other similar type of stores!

This store is the worst! I had questions and the staff wasn’t friendly. I got a damaged device and they didn’t even tried on helping or getting me a new one! There are other stores. Do not go to this one if you don’t wanna loose your money like I did.

I go here regularly for cigars. They have a pretty good selection. They also have vaping stuff if you are into that. Loose tobacco as well. This particular location will be selling beer soon.

Went to look at glassware, tried to get a few pictures for review. Staff was very rude, just started yelling. Not a very friendly store.Will be spending money elsewhere.Good Luck with your business

Guy at counter had absolutely no knowledge of vape products they had and though he was polite and pleasant. He actually refered me to a differnt vape store which i found strange .

Smoking joes is a business that sells a variety of items unfortunately not healthy stuff but after 28 years of smoking 4-5 pks a day my mom quit..the cashiers there showed my mom and i the E CIGGS..AND THAT IS HOW MY MOM WHO NEVER COULD QUIT DID!! VERY THANKFUL TO THESE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY CONSIDERATE CASHIERS ..

Love it, downside is the poor selection of Vape Devices . . If they at least stocked coils for more devices Id give a 5 star review

Meh. Smells awful from the truly horrible scents of some of the vape juices mixed with the myriad of tobacco scents. Service is the pits and prices are too damn high.
