The Badlander

5$ cover but told it could be as much as 15$. We came on a Saturday with a live DJ. We are from out of town and told this was the only “club” for dancing. First bar you walk up to only had one server and took a while for drinks did not know about the other bars around the corner. It was busy, music was great and the bass was excellent. Lots of fun with a group of girls.

Ended up there on a karaoke night. Seemed fun for those participating. Quick cheap drinks.

If you want to go out for karaoke avoid this place! I was the only person who sang and got the honor of my song being ruined by the actual song (with words of the singer) being played, so pretty much nobody could hear me sing. I was the only person who got that treatment, and I got it on video. This was my first time in a bar, and my first experience doing karaoke. I have heard bad things about the Badlander, now I can say firsthand its best to avoid.

Came with some friends. Shot some pool. The drinks were perfectly made. Great prices too! I wish I could have tried the food but definitely will next time!

I honestly prefer the badlander over the wilma. They have a re entry option and the parking garage is right next the the venue if you need to grab something from your vehicle or just take a break. The staff is always SUPER nice, they give out water, have an appropriate amount of security, and are always there if you need anything. They are always quick to respond the messages and take recommendations/suggestions seriously. Thank you guys for always providing us with amazing service and a great place to party!

Im extremely disappointed with my experience at Badlander in Missoula, Montana. As a DJ, I was shocked to face racism from the owners and management. They fabricated a lie, cut me from the DJ lineup, and then had the nerve to tell me Im no longer welcome. Despite this, I continued to support the venue by spending money there. However, when I returned recently, they informed me that Victor doesnt want me at Badlander. Ironically, every employee I spoke to had nothing but negative comments about the management. Its clear that there are deeper issues at play. I would caution others to be aware of the discriminatory practices and unprofessional behavior from the Management

My wife had a great time. The drinks were fair price and a decent pour. Crowd was young but very friendly. Nice place

Been coming here for a while now, I hit the Badlander every other weekend and its never disappointed! The staff are always friendly and you can tell they really love what they do. The bar staff are very concise and efficient, while the bouncers are always on top of anything that may get out of hand. Dustin helped a rowdy partygoer outside but also made sure he had his coat and a ride, very politely may I add! Never had a negative experience here and would 10/10 recommend

Worst bar I ever been to they took my Id I’m from Illinois and they told me I wasn’t supposed to have a star as a verification they wouldn’t show me the they kicked me out took my Id I filled a police report they never done anything I had to go back home to get a new id

This place is great for the young crowd. It gets hot and steamy in there for sure. Not so great if youre over 30. Definitely the closest thing to a club scene you can find in missoula though.

Used to love this place when DJ Trini played. Such a good night every time he spun. Has gone way downhill since he left. Id love to support female DJs, but the one they had when I was there was terrible. Bartenders and drinks are great, but the vibe totally depends on the DJ, and they somehow lost their best one. Used to spend a ton of cash there, but wont go back because the music has taken such a wrong turn

Wonderful wedding bartending!It was great to work with Ashley and her team for beverage catering at our wedding. They made our big day even better by scheduling a time to pick up our glassware and transport to our venue. And the drinks that they prepared for our cocktail hour were a big hit with our guests! The two bartenders were a huge help in keeping our guests on the dancefloor during the reception! If you want comprehensive service and a good selection of alcohol, you can’t do better than Badlander Catering.

I love attending concerts at this venue, especially bass and dubstep, rock, and some really fun drag shows. The updated floor plan gives the interior a more open, yet more connected feel between the dance floor and bar areas. Staff is always professional and friendly.

This bar is not good they are not handicap friendly. No entrance for handicap and they block handicap ramps so residents that come home from the hospital cant get in. And when you ask them not to block ramp like sign says, they say we dont care what the sign says we are here to make money and thats it. I would give them a negative number.

They out here passing bottles of water out to people! Bless their souls!

They Always have great music to dance to. Really good drink specials! Very friendly people and bartenders. Their bouncers are very professional. Very good place to go dance. The dance floor is very spacious. I highly recommend going to the badland are for a date night with your girl or guy!

Easily my favorite bar. Everybody here is so chill and not uptight like some bars. Thursday-Saturdays are the best time to go with friends or even by yourself. Dance a little bit and meet new people.

Super awesome live music! I saw Charlie Parr here and it was a total dream come true. The bar is rustic and amazing. Bathrooms are small but clean. The bar is plentiful and wide! You can find any kind of drink here, especially a PBR! Had a good time here and prices run very reasonable for live music.

This is about the closest we have to a club in town, and they do a pretty good job of filling those shoes! The DJs are all awesome, and the staff is super friendly. Most of the bartenders remember me and my usual drink, and they always watch out for me. The Dead Hipster 90s dance party held on certain Fridays is honestly one of the highlights of my month!

Good tunes, everybodys dancing, nobodys looking or judging. Good staff, polite bouncers. Pretty much one of the best dance clubs in town. If you are out to wiggle it, you should definitely swing by. Best on a Friday / Saturday.

Love the look, love the drink, the DJ was horrible. Mixing songs that dont go together. Using the lyrics from one song to the melody of another. Not impressed. If you enjoy heavy techno this might be a dj for you.

Such a fun place. We danced so hard, there was even a house dance cirlce where people got in the middle and vogued. The music was great, bathrooms were clean and the drinks were stiff. Perfect friday night fun! I wish i lived here so I could go back more often.

This place started off dead with some legit intense break crew holding the dance floor down, then got lit within a matter of flash mob minutes

Its a great party atmosphere drinks are a little expensive but the clubs energy is well worth it. Plus staff are excellent. Big thumbs up to security 😁

More often than not there is a $5-$10 cash only cover charge on club nights.

The DJ can be hit or miss, but its usually pretty good and the bartenders always keep people moving, even on the busiest nights, and the 3 dollar absolute special is pretty awesome.

Stinky, but love the karoke. The new wanding at the front caught me off guard like I was at the airport or something, but always have a good time.

Badlander catered our wedding and did a fabulous job! They were extremely responsive, organized, and kind to our guests. I highly recommend for anyone planning an event!

Chris Moon and Estes and T-Rex are the best DJs in this bar. So if you want to get down enjoy yourself with some good drinks good company and better dancing come on down to the Badlander

Bouncer need to know how handle the customers cause this is what they did to me last night and its not ok at all. All the other bars that I went to were great and the bouncer knew how to be professionals.

Best dance floor in town. Also the only real clubbing experience in town. If you are visiting from a big city and looking for a taste of home this is the spot.

Late night dancing and drinks. If you are wanting to dance this is the place to go to in Missoula. Drinks are reasonably priced, yet limited for anything more than basic cocktails and shots.

Easily my favorite bar in Missoula. A place where you can be yourself, have a great time, and dance your ass off. You never know who you will meet...I have hung out with 21-year-olds fresh on the bar scene, as well as doctors and lawyers coming out to have a good time. The layout of the bar makes sense, plenty of space to sit down, or dance, depending on what you feel like. Think about it, of all the bars in Missoula, Dave Chapelle came to hang out at this one...

Sometimes it’s a really good club. It’s usually too hot and plays a lot of the same music. Standard issue drinking scene. I like the Sad Sunday/90s Nights

Perfect bar for anyone between 21-25. After that, over-poured drinks, overcrowding, and a poor ambience are no longer fun.

Its a bar whats more to say. Do appreciate the multiple bars though specially when it gets busy just find the other bar less if a line happy customers.

Kraptastic Karaoke on Wednesday nights is the reason I get out of bed in the afternoon. Reid, John, and the crowd are always great.

Decent drinks and usually one of the better places to go on the hip strip for free live music depending on the night.

Im a regular here. Its a college town bar, lots of local acts and lots of fun. Sadly theres no pool or darts etc.

The bartender kicked out a guy and his friend just because the guy was gay. Not okay. It used to be a nice bar bit after that incident Im very disappointed.
