Fish & Chips was delicious! Good beer selection, except nothing on tap!Ok, 3rd meal here, Chicken quesadilla!!! Excellent!!! Much better than Applebees, Chilis, or most of your Ogden Mexican restaurants! As I was telling the bartender how good it is, someone says, have you tried their steak?Apparently it is one of the best in town... At any price! Well see!Update!!!Great steak!!!Also they do slouvaki the first Friday of every month!!! Delicious!!! If you like Andys, youll love The Thirsty Horses slouvaki!!!Ill just keep adding to it!!! Taco Tuesdays!!! You need to come get some! Live music as well, Dixon Haze Band (Scotty Haze and Scott Dixon). They are busy on Tuesdays because the Tacos are top notch!!! You can order as many as you like, they are individually priced, $3.00 ea and worth every penny!!!

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by The Thirsty Horse. The atmosphere was nice and the food was good. Our waitress Kelly was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be back.

We had kesley as our tender she was super sweet attentive and on top of her game first time coming in and it wont be my last she set the vibe!!! ❤️

Great hometown bar. Has great dinner special each night. Also has game night on Tuesday night. Live bands play throughout the week. Great staff... but if its really busy can be a little wait to get drinks so order all at once and everyone is happy. The patio is really nice to go out for a quick smoke. Really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the place and the food and music where great. A nice evening out for a group of friends.

A very small classy dive bar set in the basement quite with dim lighting a great place to sit down and talk the bar staff are very knowledgeable with a wide spread of beers and liquor The food is simple but made fresh with great care the Greek salad is the best in Ogden if you are looking for a bar thats not loud and busy this is the right place for you

This cozy bar has super friendly service and fair prices. Ill definitely be back!

I love this bar. Mindy is fantastic. Everyone else is too but Mindy is my favorite. If you want a good Tom Collins, stop on by The Thirsty Horse. My only suggestion is Tangueray Gin would be nice lol

Great food and great staff that is very friendly. Quick service. Has fun activities throughout the week. I highly recommend the trifecta chicken sandwhich, the chef is awesome.

Cute and cozy bar. Love love love the chill atmosphere. Very clean and nicely furnished. Not too many top shelf liquors but still a varied selection for sure! The bartender Kelly was super helpful and nice.

Great bar with fantastic food and fantastic service! The burger and chicken trifecta sandwich were both amazing! The live music was excellent, and the bar isnt too loud or ruckus. Bartender was very attentive and excellent at her job. The crowd here tends to be a bit older, more retired dudes than anything else- but we didnt mind at all!

The first server we had was amazing! She came by multiple times for rounds of drinks but after shift change the server was so hard to track down and it was next to impossible to order a single drink

This is a great neighborhood bar. The bartenders are very friendly and are quick to remember you. The food menu is actually pretty extensive for a bar. One thing to note, the kitchen can close unexpectedly. I would call ahead to see if its open if you want to eat there.

Strange place. Stopped in on a sunday for brunch and the whole bar turned to watch us walk in. Waitress told us “i don’t have list and nothing is on tap, so what do you want?” Seemed friendly enough to who i assume are the regulars, but definitely not welcoming in the slightest. Got a mimosa which was tiny, but good.I don’t know why they advertise a menu if they don’t make food. Just weird. Won’t be back.

Nice, clean dive bar. We were surrounded by regulars but both them and staff made us feel welcome. Limited on options because they were out of simple syrup, but still a good drink. Didnt get a chance to try the food but hopefully next time. Overall, would visit again.P.S.- Please make stickers/mugs/sweatshirts with your logo because it makes me smile.

Perfect size location to get out with some friends, enjoy a drink or two, and get a bite to eat. Ashlee did a phenomenal job serving our party of 10.

Went there today for lunch. Amanda the bartender was very friendly and awesome. Had the chicken wings and OMG so crispy and meaty. Best wings in town. Will definitely come back and hear some music and try some different menu items.

Had a Ritual tequila shot that was surprisingly interesting. As one who has been alcohol free for over 33 years now, I was a tad nervous. It was taco Tuesday, had 2 that were very tasty.

Can’t even tell you what a pleasure it was stumbling upon this place! Definitely stop by for a cold beer, awesome food (I had the French dip....GET IT!!), and a super cool patio! The owner Annette is the sweetest person and took such good care of us we didn’t want to leave! If you have the pleasure of having Porshe as your waitress you’re in for an absolute treat she is attentive, kind, and so much fun to be around! My dad and I had so much fun here!Also the patio is smoker friendly (cigars too!!!)

My husband and I have been coming here for years! It feels like that small town little pub that is great for an evening night cap or to hang out with friends! We love all the staff and they are very attentive! The food is also amazing!! We love this bar!!

Very strange experience. My boyfriend and I went here to grab a few drinks… I was about one-two minutes behind my boyfriend. By the time I got to the bar he had his drink… I waited close to 20 minutes before I asked for our check because the lady was taking everyone else’s order except mine, never even acknowledged me. I was the only female at the bar and the only one who couldn’t get service. So strange…

Cozy, cute, great music with live bands on Tuesdays and Friday nights, great outdoor seating area... Great food... This is a wonderful bar tucked away in a strip mall. I love going there for lunch and dinner.

This place is very put together the crowd is slightly older than 40 I would say 50s is the average but everybody is very nice and friendly and its kind of a place that everybody knows your name type of a bar I would definitely recommend it had a great time

Checked in at a motel 3 blocks away. Got there at 10:25 they posted they closed at 11pm. When we got there bartender said she just cashed everyone out. We asked if we could just get one drink and she said no. We told her the hours said they closed at 11 but that didnt work. So we sadly walked back to our motel thirsty.

Heard the Kap Brothers here two times. They were great!Wings were melt in your mouth good.Heard Classic Rock. Im in a Classic Old Country Band. I would love to audition.Dan

Best musicians in northern, Utah. Every weekend& Wednesdays, and Tuesdays. something going on most nights of the week. And did I mention excellent food and staff.

Great place to get a drink, talk with friends and watch the elderly dance the night away with their new hip/knee replacement. Really could use some modernization inside and out - break free of the 80s Horse.

The Cheers of Ogden. Not crowded, great chillax spot to take a date or hangout with a few friends. EXCELLENT service and kitchen. Outdoor smoking area where you can take your drinks!

I go to the Iron Horsr for lunch and theyre excellent salad, reminds me of the sitcom cheers, everybody knows everybody but the food is absolutely outstanding... people are great the atmospheres wonderful...
