Spa by the Sea at The Lost Whale Inn

My husband and I were looking to re-create our honeymoon in Thailand on our first wedding anniversary. We wanted to get a couples massage and we hoped we could get one near the ocean. Spa by the Sea at the Lost Whale Inn in Trinidad was PERFECT!We were able to book a session for exactly the time we wanted it to be. The host encouraged us to enjoy the beautiful grounds overlooking the Pacific Ocean in a flower garden while we waited for our appointment. We were ushered into a beautiful little studio, where our massage therapists were accommodating, peaceful, and very skilled. The oils and lotions they used transported us to tropical beaches. We can’t recommend the staff, ambiance, PRICE (a complete bargain.. it was shocking how affordable this luxury experience was), and massages enough.

The location is unforgettable! Tiffany was exceptionally helpful and did an awesome job helping me get this gift for someone special. Theres a lot of massage places, but this one stands out because of the quality of the service, and the location. 10/10!

An amazing massage at an unbelievably beautiful location in Humboldt County. Could not ask for a better experience. The cottage is very welcoming and cozy. I really enjoyed the many essential oil options. Can’t wait to be back again!

My wife and I had a wonderful couples massage at Spa by the Sea. The Spa, on the property of the magical Lost Whale Inn, is in a new, cozy building that easily accommodates two temperature controlled massage tables, an important feature when you are on a coastal cliff with spectacular ocean views. Our two masseuses gave us a friendly, warm greeting on the deck and asked us about personal preferences for the massage including areas needing attention and areas to avoid. They were obviously experienced and very professional.The massages were incredible... therapeutic, soothing with just the right amount of pressure to calm the muscles after a long hike through the redwoods.My wife and I agreed that these were the best massages that we have had. We also agreed that it will be worth another 400 mile drive next summer to stay at this stunning inn and get another couples massage at Spa by the Sea.

Spa by the sea was absolutely amazing. The view before walking into the bungalow was absolutely breathtaking taking. They accomadted my mom and I as we received gift certificates and wow. Our massage gals jess and Amanda were beyond great. When we got up from the beds we felt like we were on cloud nine. One of the beat massages both of us have ever received. We hope to be back soon. Highly recommend to anyone!

I can’t say enough about Tiffany and my whole experience at the Lost Whale Inn. Not only are her massages devine, but her glowing personality and contagious laughter welcome you with warmth, comfort, and hospitality. All that topped with stepping out of a treatment at the most stunning ocean view location, Tiffany truly brings the Aloha to Humboldt!

My sister and I enjoyed a couples massage in the sweet private, quiet bungalow. Our masseuses were excellent. With the hot tub available - it was a definite spa afternoon. Highly recommended.

A beautiful experience. I instantly felt more calm arriving at this location. I loved everything from the sounds of the ocean, and the Hawaiian music. The bed was so cozy and my massage was so good I booked another.
