I went to see Maria on the advice of a friend who had gone to her and Im so glad he pushed me to see her! I wasnt making time for my mental and physical health needs and didnt realize how much I needed help until I had myofascia work done. Holy cow what a difference!! What was so amazing about my visit aside from the massage was how Maria actually wanted to listen to me about my pain. She is so great; Im making the effort to go back so I can take better care of myself.

Maria’s massages are on another level of amazing. Each session with her my body instantly relax. She is very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend her services.

I went to Maria yesterday. She was so flexible and accommodating as my schedule was all over the place. When I got there I followed her texted directions and it worked perfectly. Filled out a little paperwork and then discussed needs/expectations. I had a great experience a few months back with myofacsial release therapy and Maria was very familiar with the technique, she also added some deep tissue massage and it completely took the pain and fatigue from my back and shoulders. I highly recommend.

Upon entering the room, I immediately felt a surreal and amazing sense of empathy and calm. I am sensitive and particular with who touches my body, and Maria made me feel instantly at ease. Her old soul and educated mind are the biggest treasure you could imagine to encounter.The deep tissue work she performed left me feeling completely able to trust her knowledgeable hands and places that had been locked tight for decades FINALLY had a release. I have done decades of body work and this was such a surprising, wonderful find in NEPA . The myofascial release she was able to do instantly calmed me and yet thoroughly released something stressful deep down within. Her hands are magic, her mind is educated, and her soul is gold. Could not recommend enough.

Best massage I ever had.Maria took the time to listen to what I needed and gave me the full scheduled time. She had really good firm pressure, not too light. She was easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and professional. Looking forward to going back again soon!

Wife and I took a weekend in Wilkes-Barre and it is our custom to take in a massage to compete the relaxation phase. We searched and called around, but no one had the availability. MARIA initially couldnt fulfill the request, but gave us a callback after she secured the second therapist.The massages were quite thorough. I usually have an issue with the strength of the pressure, but Maria handled me quite vigorously and my wife was pleased as well. Would return for a follow-up if I lived in the area. Thanks, Maria.

Maria is an amazing masseuse! She adjusts according to what you want and need. I carry a lot of stress in my upper shoulders and Maria worked hard to get the knots out. She also did some myofascial release on me which was a very interesting experience. She says there are many clients that come often for myofascial release and have had great results. The room is very well done and relaxing. She does a great job making the whole experience blissful and a great escape!Also, as a note, you will be required to wear a mask since Covid is still an issue. Maria wore a mask as well, so I felt very safe.

I had a knee replacement last year … did not turn out very well…, I went on a support website someone suggested mfr but they said make sure therapist is trained by dr Barnes….so I found Mg Bodywork’s and Maria…..I was maybe 6-7 months into first knee replacement my knee was stiff and swollen … Maria was so helpful in getting the Edema under control and helping with the tightness…. I had a never ending tightness but Maria and myofascial release definitely helped make it tolerable.I truly seen how helpful myofascial release is to have right after surgery and not waiting In July I had a revision on that same knee ….I seen Maria twice a week right after surgery …. I was amazed at what Maria was able to do ….she was able to keep edema under control which allowed me to get going with physical therapy ….I am now 81 days out I have 100 -110 degree’s of flexion and I know I will get full flexion back …I still see Maria she helps with tightness and scar tissue, edema at times ….I can honestly say Maria has been one of the most important people in my recovery……I refer anyone who is having a knee replacement to check out mayofascial release and Maria it can only help and trust me I know when having knee replaced can use all the help you can get.

Honestly the worst massage I have had to date. My back hurt just as much after leaving as it did when I came in. While very personable, she talked the entire time. I was surprised to learn (during my massage) about how she has been trained all over the world with different techniques because she certainly was unable to apply any of those skills during my massage. Also, during the last 5-10ish minutes of the massage she just rubbed these two areas of my forearms (???) with what I think was non diluted essential oil (which should never put directly on the skin) and I broke out in hives and to this day the texture of my skin in those two parts of my arm are rough and bumpy (feeling them just now, over 3 weeks later, is what drove me to finally write this review). Honestly, do yourself a favor and skip this altogether. Not worth the $100+ and the massage is on par with $20 ones you might get at the mall. While she is very sweet and easy to talk to, that is not a good reason to be masseuse. I suspect most other reviews are from friends of her family so wanted to leave an authentic one.

Maria is a high quality massage therapist! She actively listened to my needs and worked diligently to alleviate some tense, painful areas. I’m so glad I found her and will definitely be returning 😊

I have numerous problems with Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis.. MG Bodyworks has been able to help me with my pain and mobility. Plus I feel great after every massage and treatment. I will return again and again.

I went in for just some much needed stress relief. She did that myofascial release and with the soothinh music playing in the background it was like a dream. Omg i highly recommend.
