My husband and I went for a weekend getaway and were happy that the hotel included the spa. The staff were friendly and the facilities were pretty good. There are no co-ed areas outside of the whirlpool. I wish there was a small space he and I could have relaxed together. The ladies relaxation room was nice, but I was expecting a more zen-type area instead of a couch and some arm chairs. Maybe dimmed lights in areas or an aromatherapy diffuser. Would definitely return though.

I had a hot stone massage by Michelle, and it was excellent! She did an amazing job resolving my neck ache from too much computer use, and the whole massage may have been the best of my life. Service was prompt and friendly. The amenities of the dressing/sauna/bathroom and ladies lounge were very nice. Overall I couldnt have been happier.

$414 for two people. As April states below I think this is a common issue. This was our second visit and both times, poor/mismanaged timing on their end, and didn’t even receive the full upgrade. Paid $180 per person for a peace package to include tub soak, 50m massage, and 20m face massage. My girl showed up 5m late, left us 10m past our tub soak. And massaged my face for 3mins IF that and stopped 2m early. Not to mention, She massaged with one hand the entire time. Circling around one 5in area for multiple minutes even. I asked for my neck and she didn’t touch it. If you go I would strongly suggest to find out which therapist is the best but 2 times I left very overcharged, disappointed, frustrated and Not valued. 0 stars for me!There CBD upgrade is low grade too. I wouldn’t recommend paying the $35 up charge.Don’t go. Just enjoy the view and like others say, just pay for a mani and use the facility bc that’s all it’s worth.

Sauna and steam room not on when we got there at noon. They came and turned them on but they were so cold to start out with they didn’t warm up before it was time for our service at 1:30. The co-Ed area is a small whirlpool tub. Relaxation rooms were bright and furniture was not comfortable. Massages were okay nothing special. Lights weren’t dimmed during massage. No aromatherapy oil was offered and the music playing was more like elevator music rather than relaxing spa music. Definitely not worth the price.

There is a disconnect in communication between the hotel and spa. The hotel doesn’t make you aware of services included in your stay and not helpful when it comes to setting up spa services. Getting someone on the phone at the spa is near impossible. After 2 days of calling I walked down to schedule something. I had everything charged to my room but noticed my charges were $50 higher than I expected and I knew it couldn’t have been all taxes. The hotel got me a copy of my receipt and it seems that I was charged gratuity even though I had already tipped cash. The massage therapist should have warned me that it would have already been included and not accepted my cash to be honest. The massage was fine but not worth a $50 tip at the end. Upon checkout the spa is closed and I’m told to call the spa to speak to the manager regarding some kind of refund. Not confident I’ll even get anyone on the phone at this point. Disappointed that I have to keep having issues when this was supposed to be a relaxing weekend away from kids and stress. For the prices and poor customer service, I will definitely book somewhere else in the future.

I have had a massage here a few years ago and it was a great experience but we had an 80 minute couples massage yesterday and were pretty disappointed. We got there over an hour early to use the hot tub before our appt, it was out for repair so instead we used the Roman whirlpool, which is outside in the sun, in warm water, filled with leaves and bugs. Not quite relaxing. We then had our massages, which were more like an 80 minute rub than massage, in a hot room because the air conditioner is broken. Finished off with showers, the mens facility was nice for my husband, but in the womens, the only shower not being used didnt even have a shower head, so I had to wash off under what felt like a garden hose.

Treatments were spectacular. Vitamin C facial and 80 minute custom massage. Providers were excellent. The spa space was lovely. Steam room, sauna, locker room, relaxation room were lovely. The pool and hot tub area were not as clean nor well maintained as they could have been. Seemed to be a forgotten area.

We enjoyed the couples massage, very professional, and it was over priced but that was expected. We took advantage of the whirlpool offered but for only 5 minutes. My face stared to tingle, got red, and was swelling up. We quickly got out and showered because I didnt want it to get worse and ruin out trip. I was fine 15 minutes later. Still charged for the extra stuff that we couldnt use. I have never been allergic to anything, so it was very odd this happened. Staff was sympathetic

My husband and I like to get a massage whenever we are traveling. We stayed at the Chateau on the Lake Resort so both booked an 80 minute massage. I told my husband afterwards, “that was on of the best massages that I have ever had!” He too said that he had a great massage. The facility is very luxurious and the massage table was 1st class. I asked Jamie to raise my feet up and the table had an electrical raising capability. (I thought she was just going to put some pillows under my feet! Jamie gave me a really amazing deep tissue massage. She was very sensitive to the exact amount of pressure that I liked and was a great communicator. I would highly recommend the Spa Chateau!

Booked an 80 min couples massage. Got there early to use the hot tub, it was down for repair. Used the Roman whirlpool instead, out in the sun, with warm water, and filled with leaves and bugs. My masseuse used almost no pressure, it was pretty much an 80 min rub, not massage. Also, the air conditioner wasnt working so it was extremely hot during the massage. I was just thinking the whole time, I cant believe I am paying so much for the worst massage I have ever had. Took a shower after, they were all being used but 1, and it didnt even have a shower head, so I had to shower off under what was essentially a garden hose.

This spa had a pamphlet of there prices when I came by on Christmas Eve, and I asked the lady at the front desk are these prices which she claim they were , let say the prices were much cheaper than what we were charge on Sunday, December 26 , 2021 for three facials , three massages were a 900.00 dollars which were ridiculously over priced for limited services for a spa, no coffee, or tea , snacks besides peanuts when you are there all day, then they charge to use all amenities such as steam room and shower, this is crazy. We travel a lot , and we have never paid this much for spa, and we have been to some world class spa. The massages were not the best because some of the people were not certified therapists which my therapist was scared to give me a deep tissue or touch me , it was not the best experience and a waste of money, but we will never come back to this spa . again. The hospitality was not welcoming to certain ethnicity groups ; however, I think they were not used to certain groups coming to a spa. Never again , but enjoy those overpriced fees that we paid.

Our experience at the spa was amazing! We went as a group for my sisters birthday and every member was highly satisfied with their massages. We all left very relaxed! We also enjoyed all the included amenities. My only complaint was that the communication during the booking process is horrible! They never answer their phones and we were playing phone tag through voicemail the whole process. I then sent an email with all my group forms and got no response until I emailed them to see if they had got the forms. The forms were not viewable and if I wouldn’t have reached out then I would have never known. The communication was a head ache and if this wouldn’t have been such a hassle I would’ve given them a 5 star rating.

I am very sad to share with you, my best friend, and I have been going to Château on the Lake for over 10 years. We have stayed at the hotel, ate at the restaurant, and they had mini spa services. Our last trip will be our last trip at either location. The way everything was handled when my phone was stolen in a locked locker, it’s hard to put into words.I had to make this post on social media. Many of you have been asking, where have I been on social media, accepting call and responding to text. Well, it is a long story yet I will sum it up. My phone and wallet were stolen from a locked locker at Chateau On The Lake Resort Hotel Spa in Branson; while, my bestie and I were in services.I was locked out of my iCloud, data locked, for 2 weeks. I had lost contacts, photos, apps and you name it. Then, had to change to a new phone twice because of data space. The reason I have not responded sooner on a Google review husband I am still trying to catch up my work from the loss of time when my phone was stolen from a locked locker. At the end of the day, the person who stole my phone, returned it, and then the hotel wanted to charge me to have it mailed back to me when one of their employees stole it from the beginning. Does that make sense to anybody?Along with all of this, the spa was not the same. From the fact that the hot tub was not working, the snack bowl was empty, there is no ice for the hot and dry sauna, and more. Clearly the care factor has been lost.I do not recommend. And nobody tried to even make it right and everybody handed it off to the next person. The lack of accountability was alarming to watch.

First of all the staff at the spa desk was very accommodating to ensure that a gal friend and I got an appointment for a massage.Heather, my masseuse, was excellent! She had strong hands which was very conducive for an excellent massage. Additionally, her hands were so warm that it almost felt like a hot stone massage, she deserves more compensation as she provides an extra benefit!!!Highly recommend her and the Chateau Spa, located next to the beautiful classic hotel..

Amazing facility with the friendliest staff! Went to the spa for a full day with my best friend on a girls weekend! I booked the detox package and she had the relaxation package. We were blown away by the results! The locker room amenities were the best I have ever seen and I have been to quite a few other spas. The outdoor pool/hot tub was incredible and just the icing on the cake. We loved it so much, we came back for a second day to use the facilities! Best $25 I have ever spent. We will definitely be back here on our next trip to Branson!

I enjoyed the massage I received. My wife did as well. The amenities though? What a lack of. I walk into a locker room. Fancy to say the least. I go to the biggest shower and turn on the aromatherapy shower. After 3 minutes there was no chance of it getting hot. I then went to the steam shower expecting it to work. After the 5 minute timer stopped, there was still no steam. What a disappointment. 1 of 3 showers had no hot water. The only mens steam room had no steam. Its time for my massage where I proceed to the gentlemans room. It wasnt bad. It really looked more unused and had zero excitement. It appeared to be some elderly mans outdated living room. My massage therapist took me to a room and gave me a massage. He was most definitely on the clock. He did a great job though. After he led me to the coed spa and said we have amenities until 5 pm when they close. Thats awesome. Except the indoor spa is empty, the outdoor one had a part broke so they couldnt run the jets, and half the mens showers were not working. I was still expected to pay full price. The massage was great, but if youre expecting over $500 for an 80 minutes couple massage, atleast have your boasted about amenities in working order. Such a disappointment for the money.

First off, I dont normally write reviews and am very easy going about things, but this visit warranted a review. My husband and I liked our massages and the staff was friendly. The spa area was only average. Because of covid they said nothing was open - no whirlpool, no hot tub, no snacks, no in-spa dining services of any kind, no toiletries in the locker rooms, etc. Basically dont let their website fool you, very disappointed. Of course their prices still reflect all of the amenities previously offered. Extremely overpriced for what you get.Make sure to check what they charge you for when you are finished. We paid at the spa for everything (my husband specifically asked to put all of the charges together), then two days later got charged an extra enormous fee without knowing why or what it was for. It took several days for someone to get back to me about the unknown charge. Well be going elsewhere for spa services in the future.

Disappointed. Mismanaged Spa, understaffed, under managed, needs to be deep cleaned. Outdoor waterfall still not working. Lost 1/2 our reservation for a couples massage?! Last time they blamed it on COVID, This place really needs to be turned around and fast, before they lose more staff and clients….

Went away for the weekend with my husband to relax and have some quality time with him. We got a couples massage. Weve done several massages before and never have I had such a terrible massage. At first i thought his gentle touch was some technique to work on pressure points as i had complained of my leg hurting before we began. About half way through I realized that it wasnt technique it was just that he wasnt a good masseuse. It was very hard to lay there in what should be a very relaxing setting when all i could think of what how much I was spending for the worse massage of my life. I even quietly cried to myself on the table. I probably should have said something in there. But being naked on a table is a vulnerable place to be. He never asked me if it was too hard or too soft, like other masseurs have done in the past. Way over priced. And they added a 17% tip for my convenience didnt mention it was optional. Saw that on the reciept after i paid for it. They did give me an additional $20 off. But really what i wanted was a nice massage. Even after their dscount i paid $120 for 50 minutes of nothingness. Very disappointing.

Harmony Package was awesome! Staff was extremely professional, friendly and attentive. My lower back pain is gone thanks to Anthony! Will do this again with next visit. Massage services are ok but EXTREMELY expensive. Watch the clock on your massages, we booked an 80 minute massage and received a 60 minute one. After disputing the shortness in time with the spa director who tried to charge us full price, we received a 20% discount. At the time of payment, we were shocked to see a fee of $10 per person to be in a couples massage room in addition to the price of the massage PLUS a 5% resort fee tacked onto the charges and we were not even staying in the resort. We learned this fee could not be removed even though it was not displayed anywhere in the spa, services menu or online. Please ask how early you are required to arrive as well. We showed up 10 minutes before our massage and were blamed for not showing up 20 minutes before even though it was never suggested after two separate phone calls confirming the massage services. Overall it was a poor experience and would likely not go back to do to feeling nickle and dimed because of the excessive undisclosed charges. Very disappointing to say the least.

I love this Spa, it has great facilities - outdoor HEATED pool, huge hot tub and wonderful staff. My only problem was the food I ordered - I would think that a Day Spa of this caliber would have cheese and crackers tray with fruit available and some sort of small plate/ cocktail menu. The hotel charged WAY TOO MUCH for the delivery of my cheese plate in a Styrofoam container and my bottle of wine, and to top it off - the cheese and cracker tray was pathetic. BUT the Spa itself is awesome, this time the girl that greeted me and took me upstairs explained NOTHING - but since I had been before I guess she thought I knew everything. Word to management - EVERY person needs the same treatment, new or old.Best thing about this place, you can book a MANICURE and show up when they open and use the facility all day - and it is so worth it. I drank my wine outside in the heated pool, looked at the beautiful Autumn trees canvasing the lake and it was PURE PEACE! I was off the grid, no cell phone, no kids, no drama - #goingback, #needthismonthly
