My boyfriend and I stay here every time we take a weekend trip to Branson and love it. The rooms are exceptionally clean, free breakfast is included and the location is great. Off the strip so its not too crowded or busy, but close enough to be minutes away from everything that we want to do! The prices are also very affordable. (55 per night is what we paid on our last trip). In addition to everything else the service provided is top tier. Im not sure if he is the owner but the front desk clerk that we see every time we come to visit is super helpful and goes out of his way to make your experience good. I would definitely recommend Capitol O to any of my friends or family. Thank you!!
Overall I’m happy with the room and the price. The desk attendant was very nice and welcoming! The rooms were basic and the only complaint I have is the floor needed swept and the shower curtain needed some serious repair. But the beds and shower were clean and I would stay here again.
Make sure to always get the refundable option!! We booked a 5 night stay at this hotel. The beds were made, however nothing else was really clean. There was hair in the bathroom, crumbs on the floor, stains on the sheets and the mirror was dirty as well. We were also informed upon arrival that there was no breakfast offered due to the lack of people staying. That isnt a huge deal, but still wish we knew ahead of time. Needless to say, we decided to stay at another hotel. We did not do the refundable option when booking online for Captial- O, which we now regret! So lesson learned!
***** please read before booking!!***We stayed in rooms 115 and 116. Upon check in, the man at the front was decent when we checked in, but the keys to the 2 rooms we booked wouldn’t work and when my husband asked for help he said “that is your fault, the lock sensors are just sensitive” and we had to spend the night just HOPING they’d work as it was a 50/50 shot we’d be able to get in. It was downhill from there. We checked out the room and the sheets (I won’t even call them blankets, they were so thin) had holes in them, and iron burns on them. We booked 2 adjoining rooms, but the door between them was screwed shut. All that we could have lived with… but, back to the beds.Around 2:30 in the morning my toddler and I woke up to BEDBUGS on his back. Yes, plural. Multiple. They had bitten me multiple times as well. They didn’t even try to hide when we turned the light on.. when we went to the front desk to see about a refund for the remaining nights, and for room 115 since we did not sleep in that room after finding the bugs, HE SAID WE BROUGHT THEM and genuinely did not want to refund us for that room for the night. 10+ bedbugs did not hitch hike on my toddler to come stay at this raggedy motel. He said “both beds in both rooms are unmade, so you have to pay for both. Then, he informed me that no one had stayed in that room for months… which explains the lack of timidness from the hungry little pests, but was off putting because WHY are there still bedbugs in there after all that time?!?Just an awful experience! We finally got our money back for the infested room, checked our things over and over again and got the HECK outta there!
Front Desk clerk was very dismissive and rude to my wife about our service dog until I walked in and his attitude changed. No hot breakfast as promised either. Not staying here again
The first thing I do when I check into a motel is go into the room and move the bedding to get to the mattress and box spring to check them for signs of bed bugs. I am proud to say this room was free of any bugs. It was clean, the fridge and microwave were clean. My only complaint about the room would be no coffee pot if I did not travel with my own.The complaint about the motel itself was no ice machine that we seen and the breakfast was not very good, but for me it was fine as I only had a waffle and a bowl of cereal. If you are looking for a meal with meat, potatoes, etc like most motel breakfasts you wont find that, they may have had eggs but I am not sure. They do have cappucinno but it tasted watery and my husband said the juice was overly sugary tasting. The staff was great, the man in the office was always there. I wondered if he ever left the front desk or the sofa in the lobby. This is a good thing so please do not misunderstand, he was there, he was friendly, he was attentive. We stayed 3 nights and he is the only one we seen at the desk.Good price, good service, good rooms, highly recommend!
We stayed at the hotel for a week, and during our stay, Berry, the owner/manager, was on-site every day either at the front desk or helping clean the rooms. He was very friendly and professional to us and all the guests we had seen him interact with, he would visit with us in the morning when we would come in for breakfast as well as the other guests. He let us know that if we needed anything or had any issues, to let him know so he could get it resolved. The continental breakfast was from 7am-9am which consisted of scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, waffles, cereal, and juice/coffee. There was plenty of lighting outside of the hotel so it made us feel more secure, although we prefer it to be extremely dark in our room we had a blanket in the car that we hung up so it was perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great and was very cold...which again we prefer. The only issues was the shower head was really low for anyone over 5 foot 6 inches, we brought it up to Berry as we were checking out and heading home and he stated that we should have told him earlier that way he could install an extension for us. All of the linens where clean but you could tell they were a little worn. He is in the process of updating the hotel but it is just him and a few employees working with an older hotel. We are very picky about where we stay and we will definitely be back there. Good quality for the price.
First of all we booked a handicap room months ago and we got here and didn’t have one available. So our 90 year grandma had to climb in and out of the tub for a shower. Second of all the floor is gross black feet gross bed in very uncomfortable unless you like a very firm bed and then you will love it. The bathroom light and fan combo on the 2nd night sounded like a bird was stuck in it. It squeaked very loudly and the second night we only have 3 towels for 4 people. The shower head was for very short people and hard to wash your hair. My daughter went back in for a jacket and the cleaning lady was complaining about our towel usage and my daughter overheard. No ice machine you gotta go to the front desk. And last but not least ROACHES!!!!! Big and small they got them all. I won’t be staying here again.
Rooms were decent for price, nothing fancy, a little out dated. The beds were comfortable but only 2 pillows and the sheets did have some stains on them. Was a little hard to sleep if you like it dark because there was a very bright light right outside our window that stayed on all night and no curtains just blinds so let a lot of light through. The pool is very small. The breakfast was nothing fancy but decent. The front desk was friendly and very easy and fast check in.
Definitely get what you pay for. Sheets and blankets had stains on them. No lid on the toilet, the shower curtain had black stains on it also. The faucet over the bathtub was dripping water. The eggs at breakfast were very cold and only covered by a paper towel. Someone who works there is growing vegetables in the front near main entrance and on the side of the building. The woman who worked the front was actually very nice and welcoming! The actual amenities and upkeep of the hotel needs a ton of work though. Again it is cheap, but you get what you pay for here.
Stayed here a couple months back and I almost forgot to leave a review. This place is awesome, Heather was an awesome person she will be at the front desk and all around the place she is a hard workin lady! Berry the owner is alright, he could do a little better on breakfast but for the price a great stay!
BarryThank for your wonderful help on taking are of us. We have had a wonderful stay with you. You have really done a Fantastic job. The room was great the service is awesome. We had a fabulous time in BRANSON MO. Saw Fantastic shows andmy wife shopped until I dropped. Once again Thank you.
Service and location were great! The room however wasnt the greatest. Bed was comfortable but the blankets were too thin. There was also no curtains over the window so the outside light shown in the room all night.
No coffee makers in room. Can only get coffee between 7am-10am. Rooms were missing various items(shower curtain), wobbly table in one room. Breakfast not the best. Front desk person not very polite. Location was good.
Good location to the places we had planned to go. Everything in the room was dirty, especially the bathroom and floors. Not just a little dirty, like built up dirt for a long time. No curtains and bright lights right outside of room making sleep difficult. The staff was nice enough. I guess you get what you pay for.
We had three rooms, all was clean and fresh. The maid over Labor day was awesome, though we asked for no service she still asked if she could give us fresh towels or remove any trash. She was amazing! Super friendly. Made us feel welcome and showed someone cares to keep property clean. She was a very nice Hispanic lady, Entire property was clean, tested pool ph by strip it was perfect, very impressed. The breakfast was pretty lame, and removed before 930am. All weekend, went down Sunday and Monday nothing out or left, They offer biscuits and gravy no meat, dry cereal, whole milk and waffles. No fruit No yogurt no bread outside biscuit! So if your looking for a quick bite in morning bring your own supplies. Youll be better prepared.
Stayed in room 108. There are no curtains on the window and there are very bright lights outside so the whole room stayed light all night. The walls were so thin I could hear the guy in the next room clearing the phlegm from his throat like he was standing right next to me. The floors look like they only get swept and are filthy. The shower had a leak, not a slow leak either and I could hear the water dripping all night. The breakfast the next morning was cold and there was no milk for the cereal. The biscuits had mold on them. I tried to get ice for my room and there was a sign on the ice machine stating that ice was available at the front desk between certain hours. BUT, the sheets were clean, the staff was friendly and the AC worked.
This was the best vacation so far. First to Branson and had an amazing time. Service was awesome and even fixed the leak and did the room while we were out. Breakfast was meager but very filling. Definitely recommend for staying when you want less of the strip and more peace and quiet.
I know it’s a cheaper hotel, but pretty disappointing. Stayed first night, a few towels and a blanket had stains. No big deal, used the ones that didn’t. Hung a do not disturb sign before leaving the first day because I didn’t want room service. Gone when we got back. Hung the second sign the following, that one was taken too and the room was serviced. And to add onto it someone took our tv remote that barely worked as well. So no tv for the last night. If vacationing, just pay the extra.
We stayed there and was very very unhappy, the company they keep that live there and frequent the pool everyday was very intoxicated and cussing yelling at the kids to not jump in the pool because she had her phone out there, she was yelling racist remarks and management sided with her about kids jumping in the pool. Our room was ok, bed comfortable, microwave was not used by us, due to it being absolutely FILTHY. We were in a handicapped room, which we didn’t mind, but the bathroom was disgusting!!! We go to Branson often, and would NEVER stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
I would love to give five stars, but I can’t. The gentleman who runs the place only has one other staff and he has to assist in cleaning rooms and maintenance, while running the front desk and taking care of breakfast. He has a ton on his plate. For being a small business owner who is struggling he is doing a fantastic job! But you should not expect a holiday inn or Hilton. We got the room because we won a trip and this is where they put us. The bathroom door needs to be tightened at the top so it’ll close easier, the front door needs to close tighter so there is no outside light coming in around it. The pool was cloudy because of what I could only guess as over chlorination. But his service and attention to care was fantastic! He truly is trying to make this place better. He just needs more guests and staff. I have stayed at worse as a single man, but as a husband and a father I would not go out of my way to stay here. However, the room was clean and well kept and other than the two things I mentioned, I would not hesitate to stay here again if issues like these were fixed. If there were more guests, my guess is he could afford better maintenance and he would continue to succeed as I hope he does!!!
Location is the only good thing but theres a better Hotel nextdoor. These ppl are Rude and act like you are putting them out by staying here. No directions on TV phone etc. Shower was Hot only on the cold side. Bed on the floor, dirty and nothing looks clean. No coffee maker or anything really in the room. Any time you call and ask for something RUDE. Stay nextdoor!
The staff was amazing, the included breakfast was just enough to get you going in the morning. However, there were three issues with our room that I passed on to the staff as we were leaving. The bathtub faucet was dripping the entire time, we were unable to turn it off. The beds were not firm at all, felt like when they remodeled they did not replace the beds. The AC unit did not appear to remove the humidity from the room. Between the faucet issue and the AC unit, the air and bedding felt moist. Since we were just there for a family friends funeral we didnt spend much time in the room, it wasnt a huge issue, but it definitely impacted this review.
Horrible stay! The room was NOT clean. The sheets had several stains on them and the ice bucket in the room had crumbs and stains in it (just to name a few things wrong) The owner or worker at the desk was beyond rude! He didn’t want to replace our sheets even though they had stains on them and had a nasty attitude. We will NEVER be back! Be careful what you book! The good reviews listed here can’t possibly be real! HORRIBLE!!!!!!
We have stayed here 3 times already. And me and my family have loved it. Every year we have came they keep remodeling which is super nice. The rooms are always clean and they are pretty spacious compared to other motels or hotels that look nice from the outside but from the inside they are to small everything is squished and tight. Also just bc they are cheap doesn’t mean they are a wack hotel which is really nice. This is going to be a hotel we always come back too!
Great price for one night stay, and very attentive service. Only downside was we didnt have soap initially, but asked and received soap immediately.Room was extremely clean, and put together. Will come again when staying in Branson.
The bathroom was very old. Could not call desk had to walk to the office and bring them back to the room 3 times in a two day period. Key card didnt work a few times, tv didnt work they had to come do something and tub was old I kind of felt cleaner not taking a shower.
This place is not a good place to stay. The employees are nice but that’s about it!My mom went down to breakfast and they shut it down 45 minutes before it was supposed to be. (Which was one of the reasons we picked this place because it had a breakfast) but on that subject it wasn’t very good at that.No ice bucketNo coffee potThere are only cheap blinds in the windows that don’t block out any light so don’t EVEN try to tap a daytime nap.The noise level is really bad walls are made of cardboard I think.Beds aren’t very comfortable at all.I guess I’ll just say ya get what ya pay for:)Oh, and PS they don’t answer the dang phone ever!
Found mold on the curtains, floor was dirty, faucet was not working properly, there is a leak under the sink, the light outside the room was so bright that it was like trying to sleep with the lights on, some of the towels were stained, beds were very old and very hard. There was remodeling going on and this didn’t help matters. Refrigerator didn’t work. Walls are thin enough that the conversation in the other room was heard. No place to hang clothes.Do NOT stay here!!! Repeat Don’t stay here!!!
Laundry is kept locked and downstairs. No elevator so it was hard to climb down with disability. Vehicles parked in handicap spots without tags. For the price, this was a great place with great staff and clean rooms.
I checked in on a Wednesday and checked out Saturday morning. It was a nice, quiet place and area. We didn’t need anything fancy because the only time we spent there was to sleep at night and get ready in the morning when we woke up. The staff was all very friendly including housekeeping! The ladies that did housekeeping where extremely nice and where always walking around during the day if you need anything. Barry who was at the front desk was super nice and helpful as well. Check in and out where very easy. They also got us in last minute literally the day of our trip our Airbnb canceled on us on our drive down there and we booked this place and and showed up 2 hours later of that and got checked right into our room. It was a great experience honestly. No complaints.
We has our vehicle broken into and several hundreds of dollars worth of stuff was stolen out of it. When we went to the front office the man asked “who stole it” after we asked if they had cameras. We didn’t see any cameras after being told that they did and they couldn’t show us any footage
The room was a 2 bed queen smoking room. It was a very nice room. The vanity over the sink had the light bulbs all burnt out and the man at the front office was there in about 3 minutes to fix all of them. He was a very professional man and a very down to earth caring manager and person. You could tell he wanted his customers to return and be happy. I called the office a couple of times for recommendations in Branson and for tips on discounts and they were more than happy to provide insight. The breakfast was very good and featured some hot choices and for the price of the hotel which was about $50 a day which is unheard of anymore that is a big surprise! They had coffee all day which was nice. Towels were always replenished and being was done everyday unless asked otherwise which we didnt need done. Floors were clean and for it being a smoking room there were no holes, burns, or a strong odor. It was also nice that they had a first floor room at my request considering Im disabled. Its in a great location and not far from a lot of Bransons attractions. Parking is very convenient. The beds were very comfortable and there was a great selection of programming to choose from on the television set. The bathroom was very clean and so was the wash area. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this establishment to all of my friends, family, and anybody who inquires about a place to stay in Branson. It isnt the Waldorf-Astoria or Plaza Hotel but its a quaint hotel with unbeatable prices, good accommodations and breakfast, great customer service, and a very comfortable, convenient and safe place to stay in good ol Branson, MO.
My boyfriend and I stayed here during our weekend trip to Branson. The manager was very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great for everything we wanted to do. We ended up booking another night so we could stay a day longer! Very enjoyable trip and great service.
The rooms were clean and comfy! We thought breakfast ended at 9:30 but it really ended at 9. We showed up at 9 and the owner opened it back up for us. He is a great guy!
Owner is super friendly, went out of his way to get my family Waters. So many things to do and places to eat, everything is nearby. Loved the service! Definitely booking again when I visit Branson!
To expensive for what we got. It started with the door handle to room it was about to fall off then the bathroom outlet didnt have a plate on it made me afraid to use the very small bathroom counter was dirty with something red. Then the room had microwave and a fridge and no coffee pot. But the worst was when I got in room I took off shoes and when I went to get in shower my socks were filthy black which made me feel like the whole room was dirty. The staff was not that friendly. I would have found another hotel to stay in but it was memorial weekend and everything was full.
This place is a wonderful place to stay will stay here every time we come here. very good breakfast & the desk clerk was wonderful & very clean while the breakfast was being served & saw that nothing was running out. Nothing bad to say about this Place or the manager & very Quite Nite. 5*****
Room 110 has bedbugs. Looked like an updated room when i walked in so it was very disappointing. Staff was friendly about refund so no issues there. Would not recommend
I do NOT recommend this hotel! The hotel looked nothing like the photos provided online. Our room smelled of cigarettes, had a burn hole in the comforter and burn marks on the bathtub and also the tub had a leak. The breakfast options I had been told would be provided was waffles, biscuits & gravy, eggs, cereal, muffins, bagels with cream cheese and jellies... it was literally make your own waffle, cold gravy and old cereal. It was not worth the money at all and we left after the first night.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, however the room was terrible. There were stains on the bed runner (stains that appeared to look like actual poo), pillows looked filthy, room had a funky smell, and the bed was terrible. Again, the staff awesome. The rooms could use some work.
The room was filthy, dilapidated, and smelled like cigarettes even though it was supposedly non smoking. There were hairs on the floor of the bathroom that weren’t our and it looked like it hadn’t been mopped in months. The shower was covered in grime. The carpeted floor had all kinds of crud on it and our one year old found a peanut on the floor -we didn’t bring peanuts! The bed was SO uncomfortable and left us all aching in the morning. The blanket did not look laundered. And to top it all off the breakfast gave us food poisoning! I would not stay here again if you paid me to.
There was paint overspray all over the light fixture over the sink, and also on the bent towel rack in the bathroom. The only furniture in the room was the bed (which was comfortable), a small table and two chairs and a small couch. It would not have been comfortable if we had stayed more than one or two nights - no place to store things. AC was either too cold or if we turned it down it got humid. Threshhold on door was not sealed.
The host was very friendly when my daughter and I checked in. We reserved a nonsmoking room and when we walked in it smelled like smoke. The bathroom hasn’t been cleaned. The corners and behind the toilet had had dirt, trash, razor covers and a lot of lint. The bathroom door had feces by the knob. There was hair in the shower and on the floor. The room had little trash and dirty gummy bears on the floor. About 9 that night we had a couple with kids walked into the room because they were given our room key and our deadbolt didn’t work. I asked for a discount when leaving and we were denied.
Room was clean the hotel was pretty quiet the whole night. However the wall unit provided no heat! It didn’t work. Instead they placed a small heater over by the sink. The shower didn’t work at all! No water ever came out. The sink had only cold water coming out. The cleanliness of the hotel was good for $40 but I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. I brought up my complaints to the clerk he didn’t seem bothered l. He never apologized he only made me feel insulted by stating “I mean I can show you how it works. I haven’t had any complaints from the people next door.”
The first room had no power to the back half of the room. Manager was unable to resolve problem so gave us another room. Went to room after seeing a couple of shows in Branson and upon lifting toilet lid the seat fell off. Then noticed ring marks in counter by sink left from prior Tennants and obviously not cleaned at this point we decided we werent staying in this dump and notified the manager it was about midnight at this point and we packed up our luggage and drove around and found other accomodations around 1 am. I had paid classic motor inn for two nights in advance. Manager said I needed to contact oyo office for a refund after several calls back and forth they said they couldnt refund my money. Overall terrible experience and I would not recommend anyone staying at such a poorly run establishment. As of now I am still trying to get a refund. Also the online price said $57 per night and my card was charged $154 for two nights. Total ripoff
This is our place to stay. We already have another Reservation fir our next trip!
Nice, yet dated hotel. It appears to be a family run motel. The pool was simple and clean. The rooms had some updates to them, but the beds were definitely older. I like that they give you a larger than average trash can in your room. The breakfast is sparse with an odd layout. The staff was friendly, but you can tell a couple of the front desk staffers must have been traumatized by past guests as they can get a little defensive when you ask them questions about pricing or the rooms. If youve ever dealt with unruly patrons, you would understand too. All all, it wasnt bad and I would stay again.
My fiance and I stayed here for a weekend trip to Branson. The room was clean and ready upon our arrival. It was close to Branson attractions and Silver Dollar City. We had no issues during our stay and would definitely stay here again!
Pet friendly! The staff are missing quality training, but are exceptional with what they are given. Pretty typical of the area. The room smelled like smoke, even though it was non-smoking. They quickly brought an air purifier which did not do much, but we kept it on anyway. If you have severe allergies to cigarette smoke or a sensitive sense of smell, I would ask to check your room, or multiple rooms upon arrival. The room was very clean otherwise (I checked sheets, towels, the floor, and the appliances), and while dated, perfect for what we needed. There is a nice pool out back, and a simple free breakfast. No wifi, and not the top property in their price bracket, but we would return if travelling again with our pet. (There are nice grassy/wooded areas to walk the pups in front and on the west side of the building for potty breaks)
Stayed here with my family, Friday June 11 - Sunday June 13.The room was sweltering when we arrived. I would expect an establishment with guest comfort as a priority, to arrange for the temperature to be pleasant in the room before the guests arrive. The sauna-like room would become the least of our worries, unfortunately. The room did not appear to have been cleaned very thoroughly between visits. While the beds were made and the surfaces were clean to an initial look, closer inspection revealed human hair on the floor in both the room and the bathroom. There was a half-used roll of toilet paper hanging in the bathroom - which isnt really a huge problem, just a general mistake in the hospitality industry. We paid $85 for the night, I expect a full roll of tp.The pillow cases didnt match. Again - not a huge deal, just really weird in a motel room. One of the pillow cases was badly moth eaten, that was kind of gross. The real issue with the bed was that it was probably the most uncomfortable thing Ive slept on in my life. The mattress should have been retired long before our arrival. We kept rolling into the middle and trying to roll ourselves out - all night long. The worst part of our stay at the Capital O came when we went down for the free breakfast. I use quotes because we definitely ended up paying the price for partaking. My wife had a waffle, biscuits and gravy, and orange juice. I had some of each of those, though less than her, and some cereal. We then went out to see some sights and returned to the hotel about 6 hours later. Both my wife and I felt more and more off as the day progressed, though she far more than I. Neither of us are anything else that day.By the next day, it was clear that we were both sick. Luckily, our 1 year old avoided whatever it was that made us so ill. We were both skeptical about the breakfast, due to how run down everything else was, but against our better judgement we both ate it. A good reminder to always go with your gut. If it doesnt seem safe, it probably isnt.I havent stayed anywhere other than an air bnb since air bnb became a thing. This was my first stay in a motel or hotel in years. I will never stay in one again. This review is for anyone who might be considering staying here - Dont. Find a nice air bnb. If you absolutely must stay here: bring your own bedding and dont eat the food.
Good Motel, room was clean and tidy like I wanted. Breakfast was good and there was a variety of choices. I would give five stars, but there was a guy smoking 4 feet from my door in the morning. Smoking is something I dislike greatly and the fact patrons can smoke so close to hotel rooms is something i dont like. Otherwise the place was great, I would reccomend to others.
Stayed here for a 3 day trip breakfast is good rooms are nice and are definitely price good no complaints definitely will be back
Rooms are nice but staff is very rude. We booked online and even made sure to mark we had a pet with us. When we checked in the man ran out and up to our car and says no pets aloud. When I said that I even checked online he said we are not online. I booked through booking so they are online. Im glad it isnt could because our 15 yr old blind and deaf 6lb dog has to sleep in the car. I will never stay at another one of their hotels.
Good place for the price BUT beware they charge a customer service charge mine was over $11.00 I booked through booking for com and have never had a motel do this before. 100 rooms @ $11.00 thats $1100.00 extra dollars in their pockets nice little scam they have going
No hot water , when telling the guy at the desk he says “oh just let it run it takes a while “ no water pressure at all. Ice machine doesn’t work walked upstairs in the cold and it’s not even plugged in. Advertise “free breakfast” there is no breakfast not even cold food. Beds hurt all of our backs not comfy at all. Will not stay here again. Lesson learned!
The staff is very nice however they need 2 clean the rooms better we had a problem with are bedding. Housekeeping came in but the management never came and talked 2 us. Other than that the place is very nice and the rooms were clean other than that issue. If the management would of came and talk 2 us then i would of given this place 5 stars. The manager is gonna give us a night free do 2 this incident.I will b back this is a nice place and the staff is very friendly and always helpful! They gave us a free night plus let us stay a lil longer so we could go do something and leave r dog in the cage in the room
Great value for the price. Has an outdoor pool and breakfast! My only little complaint was I would have liked to see a little more cleaning (sweeping floors for example) between the days we stayed. It was very clean upon arrival though.
Their breakfast was horrible. No meat, no fresh fruit, juice was orange Tropicana, no real creamer, frozen waffles. So if you stay there because they serve breakfast shop around. Our room was on an end and was hot in evening. They explained it was the evening sun hitting building and gave us a fan. Unless they change breakfast menu I wouldnt stay again.
I have to bring my 2 cats with me when I go on trips because of abandonment issues from when they were kittens and this place was very accommodating. They didnt even charge a pet fee for my cats which was awesome. However, because of the pets we didnt get a room with carpet which is understandable. The free breakfast consisted of biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast, muffins and yogurt. Not the greatest selection but enough a selection that you wont feel hungry. The pools was located in the back of the hotel and very nice. It was occupied most of the time so that should tell how enjoyable it was.
We stayed for 4 days. The staff is very friendly and helpful, I had to call a little more then a week prior to our reservation to request a down stairs room since my son just broke his leg, I sadly woke up the manager (it was early 5:45am) and she was very helpful even being interrupted in her sleep, again Im sorry for calling so early. The rooms we very big and clean, we had 2 adults and 3 children in the room and we all had plenty of room. The only thing is parking can be hard to get near your room but everything was great. When we go back we will be staying at The Classic motor Inn. Thank you for a great experience!
Got to the hotal had to find someone to check us in then couldnt understand him then got to our nasty room we went with family and we were told we had joining rooms but one of the doors was screwed shut and them my grandmas main door didnt lock or stay shut so she had to use a chair to keep it closed and our fridge was nasty injust wouldnt stay there agean.
Swimmers be WARE, swimming pool water was GREEN!! For starters, we had to put the key in the door knob/had to shake it to open the entrance door to our room. Headboard was hanging off the wall on one of the beds. Refrigerator made LOUD noise ALL night long!! And the WORST part of it ALL the whole weekend we had NO HOT WATER!!! NEVER have we had service like this before!!! Oh, WHY is there NO CARPET?? Ironing board NO iron!! And maid came in the room even though service was NOT asked for (did NOT put sign on door knob for service) One thing I forgot while checking the bed for bedbugs we lift the mattress up an found a needle syringe!!
This place I would not recommend. Bathroom is super small, check the beds cause me and my kids got bitten. The receptionist is very rude. Go somewhere else
Was given a room with dark green stained comforter, ashes thick on air conditioner and burns in furniture. Was told I booked a smoking room which I never do. If I was a smoker I would not want burn marks in furniture or stains on comforters. And when I told the guy at desk he refused to give me another room. And refused to give refund. Very rude. So I was stuck in Branson from Mississippi with two children and had to go around praying I could find a better room (thank God we did). But I’m out that money until I can dispute charges.
The pictures on the website are nothing like the hotel. There is nothing in the long or rooms that have classic cars. The rooms are very old carpet with holes in it. The shower head was 4 feet high. The beds were extremely hard with no give and you could feel the springs through the mattress. The air conditioner was so loud it was hard to sleep. In the photos they have a big room for breakfast, we went to the breakfast room the first morning at 8am and it was closed. Went to the front desk to ask about breakfast and they had a little corner with food set up by front desk. The food was horrible. Nothing was hot, you had to microwave it if you wanted it hot. The only thing that was ok was the pool. It’s not very big and the shallow end is 3 feet. DO NOT STAY HERE. For the price we paid it was not good. There are places in Branson the cost the same that are way better.
Didnt stay key didnt work on door I went to front desk owner asked if I scanned the key card. I told him well yea and he said you not stay here you go elsewhere. Refunded my card
Ok this is an older motel. However!! The management takes customer service to the top level!! And because it is on the older side, most of the guests were older. It was by far one of the quietest places we have stayed. The only reason I dont give them 5 is just the age issues. Management makes this the place to stay, if clean and quiet are the priorities for you.
Fair price and rooms matched it. The rooms were older and breakfast was poor. Two different queens in the room so it was nice to choose. The counter tops was the height for a child. Overall not a bad place if you are there to just sleep.
The beds are not comfortable at all, semi clean, not the best but not the worst, probably wouldnt stay again. To many other options, to sleep uncomfortably... also shower heads and sinks are very low, not average or normal height.
Shower heads are about 4’10” off the ground, rooms are dirty, hotel is falling apart, the beds are extremely uncomfortable, the rooms smell like mildew, there was yellow caution tape still wrapped around the “functioning” stair rail to get to the second floor, hours of operation stated open at 0600 but the door was locked and lights were off until 0730 and when I called the front desk he was rude when I mentioned the hours were wrong on the reservation and assumed I wanted the really bad complementary breakfast that is available at 0730. The plastic silverware is all dumped in a basket and has little black hairs on it. Black hairs on the styrofoam plates and you can tell the individual butters had melted in the packages before being put in the refrigerator. The sign on the pool said closed at all times, I called to ask about it and again the front desk in a rude tone explained that even though it says closed you can use it. I wasn’t going to leave a review but I thought if I could do the trip again I would’ve appreciated seeing this review beforehand. Pick a different hotel.
The owners of this motel are not the same ones that is mentioned on the website. There are absolutely no classic cars anywhere on the property. The comforters are paper thin. I reserved a smoking room and when I got there, I was told there were only a few smoking rooms and they didnt have any available. The staff all looked like they were on drugs and we were awoken at 8 am with a leaf blower and no leaves in site. The floors were sticky (no carpet) and when we were checking out, i noticed that the housekeeper was using a towel on a swiffer to mop. The new owner was very rude when we checked in and out. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
The Capital O was a nice motel. The rooms and beds were great. The location was ideal. They even had breakfast. Which is rare these days. Lol. I would recommend checking them out. Only problem i had was it was supposed to be a book now/pay later. I got charged on my credit card before I even got there. I intended to pay a different way. Used credit card just to book.
Nice, quiet and clean room. Like this hotel. In thanksgiving time we have 4 room and all room is clean but they should add more breakfast item that would be great .
Room was NOT clean. When I asked to be moved, I was interrupted, yelled at, and told I was wrong. I booked non-refundable and had to deal. I did manage to get clean pillowcases. Shoddy job on the refurb too.
Since I checked in and checked out the manager was great. I book a single room and he change it to a double bed🥰👏🙌. Room was super clean and have everything I needed. Booking my next trip and staying with them again. Thank you!!!
DO NOT STAY HERE! I found two bed bugs and also found several eggs on both queen beds. We called but the manager continued to tell us that they didn’t have bed bugs and said they get them sprayed every two weeks. NOT WORTH IT.
It’s a great place to stay. Very affordable and clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. We’ll definitely stay again.
By far the worst service we have had. The door didn’t even work properly, the guy tried over charging us but after I told him the price I was quoted when I called a day earlier and said if we are going to be lied to and told him we are going somewhere else, he decided to change the price to what I was quoted. I have been to better hotels in Branson than this.
Hospitality was good but room had a roach infestation so my fiancé and I didnt stay 5 mins, we went into the room and saw roaches immediately I took pics went back to office and asked for a refund which we have not been refunded yet because no one is responding to the phone call for refunds, so we have just lost money. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless youre use to living with pest.
By far the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in! And I go all over the country. Ive stayed at a run down meth trailer growing up and that was far better than this! The air barely worked. The beds are hard as a rock. And our key didnt even work and all the desk guy said was ooh, sometimes it just sticks so I had to spend the rest of the time spending minutes at a time trying to unlock the door. Ill sleep in my Truck before I ever stay here again.
The rooms were nice and clean. I had an issue with the tub not draining water when I arrived but maintenance was quick to respond and promptly took care of the issue.
Great location & very clean facility. Easy access to back roads to all major attractions without having to get into the traffic jam that is the strip. Minutes from the Tanger outlet, its on Sheppard of ghe hills so you can take it east to Branson landing in less than 10 minutes or west a mile to the end of the strip on hey 76 & be to silver dollar city in 15 minutes. 2 minutes from white water. Just an all around great location with a beautiful view. .
Very kind staff. The room was very clean and the breakfast was delightful. I would recommend this place.
This is a fabulous motel for the price! Rooms well kept and clean! House keeping is amazing! They even cleaned walk ways the steps everything! Id stay again!
Going into the room a washcloth and old soap were right in front of the door. Going in the bed looked clean but there was a big puddle under the fridge and after a few minutes without shoes the kids feet were black and sticky. It was dirty enough we just left thesame day.
Reserved Two rooms with two queen size beds got two rooms with two full size beds. Poor cleaning and the heater barely worked. Definitely not worth the money we paid.
We were 4 people in a room with two beds. The guy at the front desk refused to give me more than two keys. We, later, needed to call the front desk but the phone wasnt working and the two extra phones in the night stand werent working either.
All around 3 stars. Could use some improvements like more staff, better rooms. Had to move rooms because someone smoked in a non smoking room but we were kindly placed into a clean one.
Really close to attractions in Branson. They have a pool, good channels in the tv, and overall was a quiet place to stay. You cannot beat the price and had good breakfast in the morning. Loved the fact that they had a microwave and small refrigerator in the room, very clean hotel and room. Nice staff, definitely recommend to others.
The motel was awesome. Beds were very comfortable and it was nice and quiet. Will book this hotel again if future visits to Branson.
I was excited to stay here because it looked nice online and was pet friendly. When we checked in we were able to switch to smoking since my mother in law decided to travel with us. (They did charge an extra $5 nightly even though I listed 3 people when I booked through Trivago.) The breakfast was disappointing and I dont feel it is sanitary, for example the jelly is in jars instead of individual packages and with kids running around how do you know they arent using the same spoon they just ate cereal with? You can tell they are trying to be as cheap as possible, no shampoo and the shower has soap dispensers like a gas station bathroom. The evening woman working the front desk is rude. While trying to tell front desk about a man sitting under a stairwell (a possible safety issue for guests) the clerk was arguing semantics and saying it isnt a STAIRWELL. They advertise evening snacks but didnt put any out Saturday night. While sitting in the room Saturday my husband killed a huge roach crawling on the wall behind the TV. All in all I have to say I wont be staying there again.
Management is rude, while the place is pet friendly we were put in a room not pet friendly. I tried toget moved to which they refused.they management berated me because they had guest leave. Then at 9 at night they are doing construction on the rooms around us. When asked why they said they had other guest coming. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED! WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!
This is a great little hotel. Very clean, the owner is super friendly and very nice. The breakfast is great. Definitely a good place to stay in Branson.
We love this place for a place to lay our head at the end of a busy day. We dont need fancy we just need clean and quiet. Owners are fantastic friendly people!Only downside was no regular coffee so husband drank decaf (I didnt tell him). We will be back in the fall!!
Pretty nice hotel. Convenient location. Excellent breakfast. Very fair on pricing.
Excellent place to stay. Clean simple rooms for a great price. Location is great for going to multiple locations around Branson without having to always deal with the constant traffic of 76. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable room that will leave you with money to still enjoy your vacation!
Rooms were clean. Dislike the small cafe table in place of a dresser and the tiny patio table between beds was unusable with a phone on it.
The service was great. Staff worked hard to accommodate us. I do wish the room would have been cleaner. Location was great, easy to get to and close to where we wanted to be.
They are infested with cockroaches and bed bugs we are bit to no end. food sucks coffee, orange juice and apple juice are just powdered water mixture with 0 flavor the manger does not care no matter if you show or tell him whats going on all he said was ok we have pest control come 2 times a month which is obviously for infestation.
My 4 year old woke up with over 15 bites (assuming bed bug bites) all over her, after a ONE night stay. Worst place we have ever stayed in Branson. Would not recommend.
These rooms are absolutely fantastic. My mom recently started staying and I am actually comfortable with the size and my kids are able to swim in a clean pool. Definitely recommend staying here.
I had a horrible smell in my room. And when I mentioned it the foreigner at the desk told me I could leave if I was not satisfied so I said ok I will and thats when he called the cops and had them escort me out no refund I had the room for a total of 9 hours and paid $120. When I spoke to other guests they said things like front desk is very rood they were short with me and any problems at All and he says you have problem you can go if you want to,to another motel. It is the worst run down motel I know of..
Left early. Due to problems at Silver Dollar city. Got no refund for unused time. Not American run. But ftmp, was an ok experiance. Though the room smelt like a toilet after the first day.and the toilet seat kept coming off. Room was ok and we were left alone which was a plus
Air conditioner didnt work, hairs were in bath towels, turned sheets back in both beds and there were hairs in both bed. Absolutely disgusting! Got our money back and went elsewhere! Not even with one star.
I am very pleased with the hospitality here. Thank you Katy for being very kind and helpful. The bedspreads and linens are so soft! I enjoyed a nice cozy and clean room. Two thumbs up from me!
At first glance it was perfect, clean and quiet. After getting back to my room from watching a show I laid down to watch some tv and realized I was beginning to itch my neck alot, I ended up discovering a large welt and got up to pull back my covers to look and a spider crawled out of the blankets. After killing it I continued looking and found a teensy red bug that when smushed left a blood smear. On better judgment I didnt leave and fell asleep. Now its 245am and I am wide awake after being feasted on as a bug buffet and covered in uncontrollably itchy welts.Oh, there was a sink leak that continued to leave a little puddle in the middle of the floor.Just for an added cherry on top...
Room was ok, tv worked but the lady had to take out the EPG box to make it work so we had no tv guide, shower head was a low, cheap one, breakfast wasnt much with no music, but the worst part was the parking. I couldnt find a space except 2 next to the cconcrete corners of the building where nobody else wanted to park, hard to turn around, and most of it is on a hill. If you dont pull your emergency brake hard, it may roll into another car, pushing over the cliff.
Rooms need a curtain for the window because it is right by a light and it looks daylight in the room all night. Needs an additional trash can but other than that it was great
The front desk people are amazing Barry is super friendly and the people that clean the rooms are sweetThe beds were pretty comfortable
2nd time staying here. Came back and really like the rooms and $45 per night..hard to beat that price.
We had such wonderful friendly service. Never once had to ask them for anything. The only down fall is there is no coffee maker. But we made due without. My husband and I were very satisfied.
The rooms were clean and the pool was nice. The WiFi worked well and breakfast was okay. Sadly, one of the beds had bed bugs and the tv didn’t work all the time. Sometimes the channels worked, sometimes they didn’t.
Booked this on a quick trip to Branson. Friendly staff, room was clean and well kept, would stay there again!
We have been coming here for quite a while now. The customer service is great! From the front desk to house keeping they are all about taking care of your needs. I wouldnt stay anywhere else in Branson!Thank you Classic Motor Inn for a wonderful experience stay after stay.
K.D. at the desk is incredibly nice and helpful. Got a nice clean room for a great price. The mattress is a pillow top, which makes it hard to get out of bed because its so comfortable! Will definitely make this my go to motel for Branson trips.
Do not stay here. The rooms are full of flies and the place smells of mold. The ladies that work there are rude and not very understanding. The claim to be the cleanest place in Branson to stay, but its a gimmick to get you to stay there. Not Worth the Money!
I love the way everyone makes me feel like Im family. Theyre so friendly and helpful,. Im also impressed with the way they check in, they make it a safe place for you and your family to stay and enjoy. Linda and KD are amazing
Pet friendly, clean, prices very reasonable. One very disturbing problem. Was over our reservations, since we had reserved a room and when arriving was told there was no room available after some discussion there came a room available.
If the laundry room is still out of service by 7 AM, were going to have problems. How is it accommodating when I cant wash my clothes. This place is disruptive to my itinerary.
You can hear the other guests in their rooms as if they were in the room with you. Not a good option for breakfast. Carbs only. The good thing about it is they have a nice sized dining room for all floors.
Bedbugs! warning!!! Disgusting. Myself, my wife and daughters are now covered with bed bug bites. I took a bedbug down to the front desk just to have him look at it and tell me we dont have bugs. Hot wire moved us the next night. Terrible. After showing him the bites all he could say is so your checking out what?
This place was disgusting and had the rudest front desk person ive ever seen it says pet friendly online but was not at all he yelled at my wife and made my baby cry for us having a dog. Horrible
We stay here everytime we visit Branson. Never a bad experience. Very clean, affordable and friendly. Its not the Hilton so dont expect top of the line. Do expect easy access to everything, friendly and affordable.
INFESTATION! We stayed in room 105 from June 24 to July 1, 2016. I was bit every night by something. The first night it was my foot and leg, thought maybe a spider. Second night, my leg and butt. We slept in the other bed next night, my leg and back. These bites itched like crazy and burned. We asked to have all bedding changed. They said it was probably fleas. The next night, my arms, neck and finger, new bites. By the last night, I was in the bathtub of hot water to avoid being bit. I tried to get management to at least compensate me for hydrocortisone cream and calamine lotion. They are ignoring me. Would not recommend at all.
Was in Branson on a spur of the moment trip. Stopped here to get a room and online the prices are around 60. The lady at the front desk tried to charge me 245. For 1 night. This motel looks no different than any other hole in the wall motel. She tried to tell me that was taxes. Like Im an idiot
If you just need a place to stay that is cheap, this is the spot= more $$$ for the fun stuff. But, it is old, stained, and sketchy.
Amazing staff and great room and amenities for the price! Right next to the main strip of Branson, giving you access to everything you might want to do.
The staff are nice and friendly, but two of the rooms had mold and those that stayed in those rooms got sick the next day.
Clean, up to date rooms. Good prices and quick service. The contantal breakfast has broad selection including several homemade items like biscuits and gravy.
Friendly staff. Older motel. Breakfast is not the best. Nothing is continental about it. No eggs. No bacon. Cereal, frozen bisquits, canned gravey, and Tampico juice. No orange juice, no apple juice. No individual milk, no yogurt, , but you do get packaged oatmeal. Nothing like the website claims to be. Nothing like the pictures. Im pretty sure that they are over priced.....well over priced!
Room was fine, except we never could get the hot water to work in the sink, luckily it worked in the shower after letting it run for a few minutes.
I left something in my room and when I called them they would not give me the number for the Branson motel and refused to call them for me when all I needed was to see if my important personal property was left there. They were very rude and said they couldnt find me in their system when I stayed there 2 nights and 3 days.
Fair motel for sleeping. Rooms were outdated and sink heights were very low. Rooms with queens had 2 choices of different types of beds. Breakfast didnt seem fresh.
We have enjoyed our stay here. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The price is affordable . This is our second time to stay here..
It was awful, the beds are so out dated. The room had a bad smell to it I would give it a -1 star. The breakfast was a joke. The gas station had beer food. Very over priced.
Extremely clean and great staff. I myself am a custodian and I was very impressed with how clean the rooms are. Needless to say I will be using this Motel again thank you.
Very friendly staff. Clean room, comfortable bed and good breakfast. We come to Branson several times a year and always look forward to getting to stay here.
Ive been here a little over a week and they have been Wonderful. The Rooms are nice and clean. Very Friendly and accommodating
Decent motel only complaints are the towels arent very good. And also are door had been left open by cleaning service which was a little upsetting!
I had made a reservation online then called the hotel to make sure it showed up ok the man that answered was extremely rude and literally yelled, yeah, I got it, okay. I then went right back on and canceled my reservation no need to shout just because customers call to confirm a reservation.
Room was clean, comfortable. Plenty of soap and towels. Will look forward to our next stay. And the friendly staff
Good location for show goers. They welcome pets. The room itself was a late 90s drab. Not a comfortable place, but a bed is a bed.
Still waiting on a refund... since July 3rd. They keep making excuses, didn’t even stay a full night and they charged me for 3 nights!! This place is horrible!!! So rude and the most disgusting hotel of my life!!
Clean rooms, friendly staff. We had a problem with being assigned the wrong type of room but they were quick to fix the issue. Shower heads are a bit low so keep that in mind.
Very neat and clean. One exception, we asked for clean towels while we were gone for the day, came back and our room door was open.
I dont go to Branson to stay in my room, I go to enjoy the Shows and attractions. Classic Motor Inn gives me a comfortable room at great rate in a location that gives me access to all of the places I enjoy, from the Landing to Indian Point, & Silver Dollar City.
Roaches. Everywhere!!! I pulled back the cover and the sheets were black there were so many. Please dont stay here. The price is cheap for a reason. Apparently exterminators in the area arent as cheap.
This is the only place we stay when we are in Branson, MO. .The Staff is exceptional and the amenities are excellent. This is the best value for your money. C. A. and V.M The tie wrap kings from Tulsa, OK.
The room served the purpose fine. It was a nice, quiet and peaceful stay.
Hotel was great and everything, but one of the rooms we stayed in currently had bed bugs in both beds. Ugh... :(
Garbage on the side of the bed, no shower curtain and breakfast was cold.
What kind of hotel have a sign in their room says Please, Do Not Leave money or valuables in the room while you are gone. Motel is NOT Responsible for missing/lost items! I wasnt pleased.
Very kind management. Clean rooms and great privacy. Amazing price as well. Very close to all the restaurants and entertainment.
Stayed here multiple times. One of the best inns Ive ever stayed in. I think they changed ownership on the last year but from my past experience...Id recommend it
Owner/Manager was so very polite, as was the staff. Room was very clean. Will stay again! Excellent service!!
The room was nice and clean. However the front desk clerk never smiled, I felt as if I was imposing basically rude
Great place to stay for a great price. Cleanest hotel bathroom I ever seen! My grandson loved the 1966 Mustang in the lobby.
It was nice and clean close to everything and very reasonable on the price
Great room for the price we paid! Clean and comfortable, TV works. Cant ask for more on a budget.
Great place to stay, staff is very friendly and would highly recommend to people that are looking for a nice place to stay in Branson!
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and reasonable price. Offers evening snacks. Nice, quiet, pet friendly place.
It was clean and the clerk was pleasant..good little breakfast..will stay again
The room was not what the picture said it was there was supposed to be a big Jacuzzi tub there wasn’t there was stains on the sheets bugs everywhere hair hanging out of the shower head bathtub was filthy and all nasty was never clean the floors was so dirty an gross it smelled really bad there was hardly any hot water called to get my 113 dollars back for one night and still ant received it
Older hotel. Small outdoor pool. Friendly staff and great breakfast.
We loved our stay here in branson, clean nice pool, large bathroom. And the location is perfect.
Staff was very friendly we had a special request and they made sure to fullfill our request. Will stay here in the future
Superb staff. Great rooms, great price. Stay here MANY times a year and tell everyone going to Branson to do the same
Very nice, clean, efficient. Water was hot, instant, and lots of. will stay there again.
It was a clean room and very accommodating staff...it is dated but it was not a deal breaker...in a good location..not on the main drag so not a lot of traffic.
Very clean rooms! Very nice staff! LOW prices !! Will be comin back very soon!
The guy at the desk was rude, the room had bugs behind the bathroom door, there was hair in the shower, and they didnt have breakfast because there wasnt enough people there...
The rooms are nice and you get a small heater for the floor in the bathroom and blow dryer microwave and fridge
I loved the stay here in Classic motor inn. Food was good. Designated room for the pets. I liked the mountain view from here.
Unfriendly front deskBreakfast was gone by 8 no refills even though it was open til 9Cancelled for the next night and still am waiting for a refund from them.it has been two weeks nowTalking to my lawyer this is ridiculous!!!!!!!!
Not much selection at breakfast bar. Employee at desk helpful. Room clean. Convenient location to Branson businesses
This is a great place to stay. Really nice clean rooms, very courteous staff, and easy access to rooms.
Quiet, comfortable and clean room. Loved the breakfast and the friendly staff.
Nice and cozy/clean with great staff and GREAT price! Doors open to outside (no security) so I cant give it a 5, but for the price, its 2nd to none.
Very friendly host, nice comfortable rooms, we plan to come back in a few weeks.
Owners are super nice. Great place for amazing price
Good room. Not enough towels where given. Staff was a little rude. Maybe a off day.
I always Stay here for my husband and I little get away. The Family that runs this motel are super nice.
This is a great place and very clean. Perfect location and great management. Quiet and comfortable.
Very clean nice hotel for the price! Will be going back!
Stayed here with a friend. Make sure you ask for rooms as far away from guests with animals as possible if you dont have any. Some can get loud.
I enjoy staying here the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. And its close to a lot of the Brandons popular entertainment.
Ok hotel .rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was not that great unless you like eggo waffles.
Great place to stay, definitely recommend it to everyone.very clean rooms, friendly staff.
Excellent customer service, snacks at night, hot morning breakfast, fridge and microwave in all rooms, wifi, comfy bed and peaceful.
Great rooms service and a awesome breakfast
Excellent. no frills but its a place to sleep just like hawaii u should not be in your room
Very nice room and great friendly service! Also an awesome breakfast!
Clean rooms, quiet environment and the owner was very nice and eager to please.
