Extremely Dissatisfied with OYO Hotels Customer Service and Lack of ResponseI recently had a highly disappointing experience with OYO Hotel that compelled me to share my feedback. Firstly, let me express my frustration that there was no hotel at the location specified by OYO Hotel. This blatant misinformation caused immense inconvenience and wasted valuable time.To exacerbate matters, I attempted to seek assistance from OYO Hotels customer support regarding this issue. However, to my dismay, there was absolutely no response from their support team. Despite multiple attempts to contact them through various channels, including phone calls, my concerns were completely ignored.This lack of response is not only unprofessional but also reflects a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. As a customer, I expectedtimely and effective communication from OYO Hotel to address my concerns and rectify the situation. Unfortunately, this was not the case.The absence of a hotel at the specified location, coupled with the non-existent customer support, severely impacted my travel plans and caused immense frustration. I had to scramble to find alternative accommodation, which resulted in additional expenses and a significant disruption to my itinerary.I implore OYO Hotel to take immediate action to rectify this matter and improve their customer service. It is imperative that they address the issue of non-responsiveness and ensure that their support team promptly attends to customer queries and concerns.I am deeply disappointed with OYO Hotels customer service and the overall experience. It is disheartening to encounter such a lack of professionalism and accountability. As a customer, I expected better from a reputed hotel chain like OYO.

CLOSED BUT WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY IF YOU BOOK IN ADVANCE ONLINE. Zero stars! Booked and paid a month in advance. Arrived to fenced in, boarded up, swimming pool filled with cement, run down facility. There is no way the management company is unaware of this. You can refund our money, but what about the time, stress, and additional money spent to find last minute accommodations for our family?

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!One of the most awful and disgusting rooms I have ever paid for. I booked a 1 night stay in a king room. Just me and my Girlfriend, we arrived and checked in. The man at the desk was very nice and accommodating. We got to our room after going through their maze of a parking lot. The lack of other people made me very weary upon arriving. There was hardly anyone at all staying in this hotel. We parked and got to our room. Upon first entering we were completely bombarded by the stench of cigarette smoke. Then we began to look around, old outdated furniture, lights that didn’t work, disgusting and smelly carpet with large stains, the mattress looked old and disfigured. The bathroom was a horror show.. stains in the toilet, shower and sink. If you’re looking for a nice stay but have a budget please do yourself a favor and do not book a room at this place.. the grand plaza is right down the road and you can book the same room for under 100$ a night, it’s so much more worth it! We were able to get back half of our money after we immediately went back down and checked out. Again, the service we received was excellent, just the room was awful and we will never be back.

I should have read the reviews... curly black hairs all over the sheets, it was evident none of the bedding was cleaned, but rather flipped inside out and reapplied to the bed. The mildew smell is insane. There is trash under the beds, the floor hasnt been vacuumed. Both mattress in the room are collapsed. Most of the rooms on the lowest level are broken into and destroyed.... never again. Wishing for a refund.

I reserved a smoking room and did not get one. When i asked the front desk about it twice and showed him proof from a text that I received he told me that there was no smoking rooms available but the room right next door to ours was a smoking room and there was nobody in there the two days we were there. The room was not very clean, there was a pile of dirt next to the bathroom like they had swept it all in a pile but just never went back to sweep it up and throw it away. The beds were not the most sturdy, there was black stuff in the ice bucket. We loved the location of the hotel but it could definitely had been a better experience.

When we arrived, there was nobody in the front office to check us in. We had to call a number on the door and wait on someone to arrive. After checking in, we went to our room to find out they werent finished cleaning it, which we were then told would only take about 10 more minutes, which actually ended up being around 30 minutes. The bathroom had cobwebs all over the ceiling, as well as stains. The bathtub was full of dirt and hair. The TV did not work at all. We also had to request an ash tray for the smoking room we were in, which took almost 20 minutes to get. During the stay, we could not sleep because of the immense amount of noise caused by people walking up and down the sidewalk at all hours of the night and morning while yelling and slamming doors. We will not be back even if we are back in Branson.

Location was good.There was never anyone available in the office. You had to call a phone number to get any assistance.If you hoped to flush your toilet your may be out of luck. I know I was. Luckily all the places I went in Branson had restrooms that had toilets that flushed or my bladder would be in critical condition today.Hopefully your a fan of The Flintstones. If so, youll be pleased with the bed. Its seriously like laying on a rock. A bed of rock. Sleeping is not an option. The pool was where all inflated toys go to die. Still trying to get over the headless unicorn. The site I read said it had a big screen TV and coffee maker. What it did not say was what the big screen was being compared to. Obviously something teensy weensy. If there was a coffee maker in the room it was the winner of hide and seek and should be congratulated.Breakfast ? Lies. No such thing. Not even a granola bar. The chairs in the room were dirty and I was literally checked for bed bugs. I didnt see any but when I got home I threw everything in my dryer, and then washed and dried everything just in case.Now, that being said, location was good, walking distance from a very nice bathroom.

Light in bathroom made a horrible sound. The room was outdated and beds weren’t comfortable. We asked for towels and was told they would be delivered and never was so we had to go ask again because the phone didn’t work. The guy who works the front wasn’t there and we had to call a number for him to come. The next day our room was never cleaned, beds not made, trash not taken out, and no clean towels so we had to again go get them. Microwave did not work properly either. On checkout we had to call again because no one was at the front desk. Won’t be staying again!

Online it said there was a continental breakfast and when we got there the lady at the front desk said the breakfast started at 7, we woke up early and we asked about the breakfast. They said they weren’t doing on this year but there were no signs or anything stating that. The pictures online are way better than what it actually looks like. We had no coffee machine as advertised and I booked for $122 just to find out that on the weekends they more than double the price and I could have waited till Monday and spent $45 for the same room. The pool is only 4 feet deep all the way around and it’s only open till 10pm, I would not recommend this hotel.

This place need to be shut down! It is a great location but the rooms are dirty and outdated! The toilet seat was broke and there were a million flies! The shower head was broke! The towels were dingy yellow like! The chairs had huge stains in them! It was highly uncomfortable! The pool was even dirty! If it was more than two nights_ I would have went to a different hotel! I love Branson but I will never stay at the OYO Windmill inn/ hotel ever again!

I would not stay here again. Mold and mildew, lots of things in and out of the room in disrepair. I honestly cant believe they are allowed to be opened. We were exhausted after our drive and were only staying one night so we just stayed. We had two rooms and had to be switched to 2 new rooms which werent much better. The a/c barely worked in one, the mildew smell was overwhelming. Manager told us it was just like that because the hotel was old. Large stones had come loose on a wall over a walkway outside that could have seriously injured someone, we moved them ourselves for fear someone would get hurt. There is so much more I could add to this... Just stay away.

I had a 3 night rental. That room had a standing shower and no mini fridge. The weekly rental I got into after has everything I could want. The bed is pretty comfy and the maintenance guy came by to fix the other things someone had trashed before me. I have had a wonderful experience here since I arrived. The restaurant beside the hotel has a buffet that is outstanding for breakfast. All in all I think this is a good place to stay.

If I could give negative stars I would. Never have I been so disgusted with a hotel room in my life. I’ve never written a bad review either because I can usually find the good in things. There was a bug in the bed. The room stunk of mildew. The trim was literally falling off the walls. Outdated and gross. The air barely worked and was wall unit framed into the wall near the floor?? I called Hotwire and got a refund due to the bugs and I was lucky because they have a no refund policy on the last minute bookings. Shame on you OYO for promoting this..

This hotel is out of date and dirty. The housekeeping staff stole makeup from my daughter went through her bags, failed to clean our rooms one day, dirty tissues behind the night stand, pill packets in the floor when we checked in and still there when we left 4 days later. The owner gives the excuse that he just took over but gee this place is horrible. The breakfast was good and the lady was extremely nice so was the maintenance but the rest of the place definitely needs help immediately. I asked for washcloths from the front desk and was offered a pool towel. Saw several bugs in our rooms climbing on the walls. I could go on and on but I think you get the point!

There was no breakfast but thats the least of my worries. On arrival you had to call to get help noone was attending the front desk. Once in the room the sheets where stained. The pillow covers looked gray not white. The mattress was old flat and ripped looked like it came from a crack house.I was itchy the whole time.There was damage to the property and dust everywhere. The carpet was filthy. Hair in the shower from previous rentals. Trashbins pre loaded with trash. And to top it off I asked for a remote and was ignored. So we watched ridiculousness for 3 days because the only button on the TV was the power button. I get the whole you get what u pay for but if thats the case them rooms should rent for 5 dollars a night. Then the saying would match.Theres being outdated then theres being filthy. Ive stated in affordable places that where 100 times cleaner. Zero stars !.

It was absolutely horrible!! We will never go back! The rooms are disgusting. There were bugs in our first and second room during our stay. There was mold/water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom. None of the electronics/appliances in the room worked, which means all of our food was ruined. There was space in the wall beside the ac unit, so the room never chilled and we could see the balcony all night. The staff is less than helpful and will not return any phone calls or emails to fix what went wrong. We went the whole stay on 2 bath towels. We had to use hand towels most if our stay. We will NEVER be back here again!

Dirty, dirty dirty. Lamp shade needed replaced. Bed needed to be cleaned. Floor was dirty. Ice bucket was cracked at the bottom. Possible fire hazard with the lamp plugged in under the mattress. Check in area was locked both times I went there. Stayed two nights and didnt get beds made. The cleaning crew came in quickly to empty trash and replace wet towels, but that was it. Foul language graffitied on parking garage next to the hotel. Not sure if they owned the garage or not, but felt like it was something the owners would look into. Will not stay there again, and telling all family and friends the same. Add to my list of places not to stay in Branson MO.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY at OYO Hotel in Branson, MO. THEY ARE TAKING YOUR MONEY and USING THE LOCATION in the middle of the strip and walking distance if outlet mall AND STATING SHORT STAFF AS THEIR REASON FOR THE BEST PLACE TO STAY!!! THERE IS NO EXCUSED FOR WHAT MY FAMILY EXPERIENCED! 😠 We had a two bedroom apartment, and IT WAS NOT THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF SERVICE!!! OYO Hotel, you should be ASHAME of yourselves!!! It was not clean. It was horribly dirty. They do not follow COVID protocol!!! My family felt unsafe. The curtains were old and dirty. Two air conditioners and both were falling apart. The smoke detector was not properly working. It beeped consistently. So, it was removed, instead of battery replaced. The toilet water kept running. The stopper was broken in the basin. The iron was totally damaged and leaking water. The ironing board... The refrigerator was dirty, handles were broken and did not close fully. I cannot guess when the carpet was cleaned... Oh, the key fob & door was not secure. Trash left outside the place and the one man you have to keep the facility clean was not experienced in house keeping. I spoke with him. Im glad I travel with my Lysol wipes & spray. I had to wipe down everything to survive getting through the one night, and we were out!!! There were other families that did the same. I TOOK PICTURES AND REPORTING TO BRANSON & OFFICIALS!!! 😠 You do not have an upload for photos...Not happy and not going back to this place to stay. Again, shame on you OYO Hotel and Booking.com for partnering with this place as a place to stay....sad & dissappointing. Almost forgot to add, no breakfast provided and no deduction were given, nor are they partnered with any of the reastaurants nearby to suffice as advertised! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU ARE USED TO LIVING IN UNCLEANED HOUSING!!!! 😕

Its not a 5 star hotel but a decent place to stay. Nice employees. Breakfast was pretty much the same as everyones. Biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, cereal and breads. The towels are clean but not always white. It needs updates all around but is comfortable.

Absolutely awful place.. the staff wasn’t great. Our room was never cleaned or vacuumed..When we came back one day from adventuring and seeing the town some of our personal stuff was missing. The office never did anything about it other than “talk to them”.There was crackheads everywhere doing drug deals in the parking lot. And many of the people here including the housekeepers was crackheads.. Definitely won’t be staying at this hotel again. Would definitely like a refund..

I wish there was a zero star option. Never felt so dirty in my life. Had dead spiders in the bathtub( bonus at least they sprayed for bugs I guess). Had hair in the tub and in the sink, and also had the plastic liner in the ice bucket filled with water obviously left from the people before us. Slept with all of our clothes on and couldn’t wait to get home to take a shower. If I had it to do over again I probably would have slept in my vehicle rather than in that room.

WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN the staff was NOT helpful the room wasnt fully clean there was screws sticking up from the floor . TV had no volume . other people staying was super loud. I mean come on we found a bra sticking out between the mattress and box spring from someone previous staying in that room .We would bring issues up to the staff and they pretty much said well i dont know what to tell you. Do NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE . O and we found bedbugs in our room . if i could give 0 stars i would WORSE STAY EVER. Only reason we got the room here was bc it was the only place on strip that had vacancy $210 down the drain.

Got the last room and paid an overwhelming $240. Sat on one corner of one of the beds and it collapsed. AC wouldnt work. Boat parking is non-existent and plugs arent accessible. Very few lights worked I. The room either because they didnt have an outlet nearby or the buttons didnt work. Tub was dirty. Had to hold the handle down on the toilet to get it to flush. Reception Was friendly. Only stayed 1 night. Can definitely hear outside noises and traffic. Within walking distance of outlet mall, walmart, restaurants. Will not stay again.

Let’s just say we checked out within 30 minutes of being there. THEY HAVE BED BUGS!!! So in the past we have had bad experience with bed bugs so our family goes through the beds, couches, everything very throughly. Usually bed bugs hide in seams, but not here! All we had to do was lift up the mattress and there was hundreds!!! So we went to the front desk and they switched us to another room that also had bed bugs. We had called other hotels and they all said that Windmill was known for beg bugs!! Also the rooms themselves were dirty, smelled like mildew and the mattresses not only had bugs but had pee stains all over them. One thing I will say is that the worker we dealt with was honest . We had left some money in the hotel room and she easily could have said there was nothing to be found but she was honest . Overall I would not recommend staying here. It is infested with bed bugs, and the rooms were not clean!!

The rooms were very nice, not what we reserved but more than expected. They are very clean and neat, the beds comfortable, the appliances dated, but clean and working. We came to be a family not to watch TV but the old model 27 TV did just fine for us.DO not come here if you like breakfast, it is cheap, they even found a way to water down the gravy mixes to make them taste like salted water, added pepper and served them up with biscuits. there were 2 bagels, white bread and 3 stale donuts, but the toaster worked and there was fruit loops.The pool is not deep but clean and friendly.The staff was nice, professional and courteous.This is a busy time for them and they did good , the prices were very fair and we enjoyed our stay.

Its an older hotel, it wasnt bad and the service was great. But it is in need of renovations. For example I rented a suite, that had 2 bedrooms. When we closed the door on the 2nd bedroom everything was fine, but when we opened it the door jam came with it. I called the front desk and he said he would have maintenance come look at it immediately. We were there for another hour and nobody showed up. After we returned for the day the jam was still as we had left it. If you are looking for a shower and a bed, this place has what you are looking for. But if you are expecting to spend time in your room and have it look nice...you may want to explain your idea of nice. I would stay here again but it wouldnt be my first choice

July 8-10 2016. We booked 3 adjoining rooms for ourselves our kids and grandkids. The room first room that my husband and I were in the a/c unit didnt work. The maintenance man told us that we would have to run it on low or else it would freeze up. He told us they had been having trouble with multiple units all summer. We turned on low and went out to dinner. Came back and the room was even hotter yet. Called the office once again. They told us they would have to give us another room. We reminded them that we would very much like to remain at least on the same side and floor as the rest of the family. We assumed this wouldnt be a problem since it appeared there were 3 more empty rooms on our floor. However they said that all 3 of those rooms the air conditioning wasnt working in either. So we packed our stuff again and dragged it to the room they gave us on the other side off the building. It was a single with no refrigerator even though we had booked a double with a refrigerator. They wouldnt refund the difference. Instead they offered some vague discount on our next stay (trust me this isnt happening)The carpet in this room smelled awful. Moldy, musty wet nasty carpet smell. The bed was like sleeping on plywood. I didnt know they made mattress that hard! We had to call and request towels because there wasnt one towel in the room. The towels were as rough as sandpaper and about as thin as a paper towel. There was no remote to the TV.In the room that my son was in the headboard literally fell off the wall and hit him in the head while he was asleep the first night. There were several stripped out holes behind the headboard looked like they had trouble with it before.In my daughters room the TV was outdated as well. There was no remote to hers either. And the picture was fuzzy. The ceiling tiles above the shower was sagging and looked like they were about ready to fall down.They advertised a hot tub and continental breakfast. There was no hot tub to be found. And the only breakfast I seen was a box of generic cornflakes.The last morning as I was packing a cockroach crawled up the wall in the bathroom.To top it all off once we got home we found that the motel had zapped another $200 off the debit card. Upon calling they claimed it was because one of the rooms smelled like it had been smoked in. It hadnt. We smoked outside the room. But once you are 300 miles away and home thats awfully hard to prove. The motel has the upper hand on that. So I guess we are just out an extra $200 on an already terrible stay.My advice would be to avoid this place all together.

For my purposes, it was exactly what I wanted and needed. The room isnt as fancy as other places but its clean and the bed and pillows were more comfortable than other more expensive places Ive been. Its located right off the drive into Tanger so extremely easy to get to even though its on the strip. Ive come back for several years due to the oversized Jacuzzi tub and the great customer service Ive always recieved from the guy at the desk. Calling to make a reservation was a challenge because its a corporate number so I cancelled and went in to book at the hotel directly. This is my go to place when I need to recharge.

I wish I could give this place 0 🌟s. I knew from the minute we pulled in we had made a mistake booking early on-line.If you pay $90 a night the hotel you are staying in should have fresh hot coffee available to you anytime of the day. The staff should be curtious not rude ever... even if you are the only guest which we were and now know why!!My wife has taken pictures of the room and will post so you can see what Im talking about.This place is run down and NOT kept up if you rent a jacuzzi room warning there is no step to get over the 4 side if the tub..no caulking around the tub and they dont have a separate shower so you have to jump the wall of the tub even if you just want a shower.You could only flush the toilet 1 X an hour because the tank wouldnt fill up!!I do not know if there are new owners or what but this place sucks!!!I was to scared to even eat the free breakfast.. I will NEVER stay here again.

Did not have breakfast as advertised. Ice machine by our room was broken. Bed was clean and comfortable and room was nice and quiet. Desk clerk was running to take care of customers. Brought us replacement lightbulb and coffeepot. Would stay again.

If i could give them less than 1 star I would!!!! Very Unhappy!!!!! My family and I checked in and were given two rooms, one of them was okay quality but had wierd yellow stains on the sheets, the other room was missing the threshold and had a 2 inch gap under the door, did not have carpet but had cheap CHEAP dirty laminate plank flooring, beds in both rooms were not made correctly, the blankets looks like it had just been thrown on the beds in both rooms. The ceiling in the bathroom of my mom and brothers room was moldy and sagging. The wall where the AC was plugged was warped and moldy. That room also had a very, VERY bad odor. That was just the first night. Our last day there we walked back into my moms room after being in the heat all day only to find her AC had quit working. So she said something to the front desk and was told that we would be given a new room. So at 4pm on our last day there we had to move two rooms into one. Only to be rudely interrupted at 8-9PM by someone trying to get into our room because the guy at the front desk had given someone else a key to the room. The trim around the door came off the wall when they tried to open the door. So we had to have my husband sit in a chair against the door because we did not feel safe in the room at that point, as we were getting ready to leave at 1 AM because we had had enough of this place someone again tried to get into our room!A word to the wise, NEVER, NEVER,NEVER stay there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They dont care about the cleanliness, the safety, or the happiness of their guests!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t usually leave a bad review but this place is unacceptable! We checked in about 7pm on a Friday evening and as we are unpacking our car, a man has a key to my room and walks in! A random stranger had been given the same room and key! Once that was settled, which was about an hour later. We went to use the bathroom and the toilet Sprays water everywhere. There were men with young girls hanging out in one of the parking lots. This place is awful.

Missed opportunity! This hotel ought to market itself as an escape room, because as soon as you enter you wish you were out! It was the last place to stay last minute and so we booked it. The room wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be so we didn’t see it u til late at night. Welcome to OYO, an immersive rock bottom experience where you and your family are trapped in a hotel that has not been cleaned since it’s last remodel which was in the 1980’s. The broken curtains, dirty used microwave from the previous guest, along with the broken door frame, faulty lock on the door to your room, blood stains on the linens, broken remote, phone is missing just in case you tried to call for rescue, and broken furniture will leave you forgetting that this is a real hotel and not an episode of Shameless where Frank starts a heroin den. The absent staff… will make you question if they were killed and that’s why nothing is clean and no one is ever at the front desk. I wouldn’t be surprised if we find that this is just some huge front to launder money. This is an absolute mess of a hotel and the manager has yet to call me back… because… he’s probably dead or strung out in one of the rooms somewhere… “OYO Hotel where all your nightmares come true!”

Place has gone down hill !Our family used to stay there frequently. We hadnt been back to Branson in several years so I thought Id book us a room at our favorite hotel. This time it was different! The pros is central location, very spacious rooms .Cons,no toilet paper in the room, asked the maid on day 2 ,she never returned. We eventually got some from Walmart. Very slow Wifi, the Wifi would stop working for days at a time then it was snail slow. Lamp shades were disgusting. Carpets were filthy, only one outlet per room.Outlet cover was so old it turned a nasty brown yellow color and was broke and u could see exposed wires, one light per room,very low wattage bulb so basically very dim rooms, The room had an odor like a musty basement smell, advertised breakfast and that was a lie.They dont serve breakfast. Vending machines didnt work..Obviously new owners that arent putting money back into the rooms to up keep maintenance .

The room was horrible! Microwave had old food in it, the toilet was dirty, the shower broken, and roaches went scattering from cracks in the bathroom. I reported this to the manager and he said will you be checking out? When I asked for a refund I was refused even after I showed prof of the conditions. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I will be reporting to health department.

Rooms were not very clean and smelly. We did not let anything sit on the floor and wore shoes the whole time there. Bathroom towels were paper thin along with the walls. We could hear word for word conversations next door. Breakfast was a joke. Biscuits and gravy, box cereals, no toast, no waffles/pancakes or donuts. No eggs for us diabetics! We had to pay for the rooms before seeing them. Outlets pushed into the walls - you didnt know if they were going to stay or fall in. Toilet paper holder did the same thing. Rusty ceilings all over, dirty coffee area - old condiments, stains on dust ruffle - yuck (use your imagination on what the stains were). Unfortunately, we had no choice but to stay there. Branson was booked solid for Veterans weekend.

Blankets in the bed were all dirty with stains as well as the towels!!! When you walk in the room it smelled like dirty water. 2 of the 3 lamps didn’t even work. The chain lock for the door was broken off of the door trim. There was tape on bottom in the door holding it together. I will NEVER stay at this hotel ever again.

Beautiful and unique hotel. I visited from Mexico with family and we stayed in double queen. Rooms had out dated TV, the bed sheets and pillow cases where stained with some yellow substance and blood. Food crumbs were all around the floor and the smell of the room was like an outdoor toilet room. The lady, I think her name was Charman, at the front desk was rude and rash and could not be understood. The breakfast tasted like left overs from McDonalds. For the $89.95 per day that we paid for the 4 days we had poor room service...none! The towels were dingy and stained. The man that served the breakfast look like he was on crack and just came off the streets. Regret booking this reservation online.

Everything about this hotel was great. There wasn’t very many people there at all which is weird because it was a Friday night over spring break. I loved how to rooms were set up. My family hade 8 people and we split it between 3 rooms. Each had a different colored carpet and bed. The only problem was in my room the fan for the bathroom sounded like a garbage disposal. The other rooms didn’t do it though. I think this is a great choice for a hotel even if it is a little old fashioned, I loved it

I found the staff to be very friendly and accomadating, every thing I requested was addressed in a friendly and professional way. I did request a different comforter, had some concerns regarding its cleanliness. However, I found the bathroom extremely clean, coffee pot, sink etc. very clean. It was not the Ritz Carlton, however neither was it Ritz Carlton price, I am missing one of my favorite dresses, I have called them and they took my address and are investigating and will give information to me later this evening.I would have felt more comfortable if the sliding lock had not been removed from the door to prevent someone from coming in the room when you were there. In service I would rate them five stars, safety, poor, cleanliness three stars. They looked for my dress and I later found that the dress was found in my home, my thanks to them and my apology for putting them through the trouble for trying to find my dress.

Stayed here in the off season. We thought it was a great value, great location, spacious rooms, not a brand new motel but at a reasonable price. To my understanding they were still adjusting from change of ownership.My only real issue was I need fresh and ready coffee at the front desk every morning.We resolved the issue by buying coffee at walmart for the pot in our roomI would return if coming to townThanks

Cozy, quaint place. We stayed in their family room since we required 3 beds. Quality matches price. Really love the design, and the breakfast was a plus. Its about what youd expect it to be. Great staff, great location. Would definitely stay again!

This place was disgusting. I booked this online and didnt want to stay. There was cockroaches and mold in the bathroom. Their beds were so hard, I would have been better off sleeping in my car or on a floor. No breakfast and no Jacuzzi as was advertised. The lady hung up on me 3 times when I was trying to talk to her. Very bad experience. Do not go to this place. I paid almost 100 dollars to stay there. I could not cancel my room without getting charged. So we sucked it up. You could hear the other people upstairs and next door. Couldnt sleep and we were cranky.

BED BUGS BEWARE!! Please check your beds before staying in your room! We were in our room for less than 10 min and had to track down the owner to get our money back and find somewhere else to stay. When confronting the owner about the bugs all he said was I can give you your money back, but thats all I can do. Mind you this was at 11:00 at night and we ended up having to drive an hour away to a different hotel due to all the surrounding hotels being booked. Would not recommend!!!

We checked out with in a hour of being here the guy was really nice at the front but the first room was not ready when we got to it dirty so we got switched to another room when my son went to take a shower I noticed a bug it was a BED BUG!!! I took it and showed the guy he said it wasnt and offered us another room that room was same as far as still not seeming clean and the AC was actually busted the front of the AC unit was not on it. I was very disappointed with this hotel I really wanted to like this place it looked cute from pictures the guy was super nice but over all I cant give it a good review after finding bugs and want to warn people about that before they check in

Wont stay there again. Toilet has a big glob of poo stuck to the back of the bowl which tells me it wasnt cleaned before we checked in. The TV didnt work and after letting them know that and giving them ample time to fix it they told us to fix it ourselves which I seriously am thinking about sending them a repair bill for. Floor under the sofa table that held the TV and microwave wasnt dusted under, there was definitely no pride shown on doing a good job of cleaning. Just wasnt satisfied with my stay overall.

We have stayed at this hotel for the past 3 years. We have always had great service. The hotel I will say is overall clean and comfortable. No its is not a 5 star, but its pretty comfortable. This past stay on August 7,8 we had problems with our air conditioner and vending machine problems and they werent addressed during our stay fro some reason or other. After speaking with the owner, today he offered us compensation for 2 free nights on our next visit. This is acceptable in my book, as he at least listened to our concerns and did not want to lose us as customers. Overall this is generally a pleasant place to stay with convenience and the restaurant next door is very nice. :0)

Checked in the room and the walls were dirty and the front door looks like it was kicked in around the door hinges, no towels in room and a partial roll of toilet paper and no shampoo or soap. And when called the front desk the guy was rude and said he would bring supplies and brought 2 towels nothing else. Will not come back

Very disappointed!! You get what you pay for. The room was standard, however the bedspread had a bad smell. The blanket I found in the dresser drawer was old and had a hole in it. We went to Walmart and boughtslippers to walk on the carpet. The sink area was not clean. The maid service did ok the first couple of days, but by the end they didnt make the bed, they just pulled up the bedspread. The towels were so rough, it felt like we were using scratch pads or sand paper to dry after showering. We should have brought our own towels, my very old towels are better than what they supplied. The breakfast area was not clean, the food was very unappealing, we ate out for breakfast every day. Its worth spending a little more and getting at least 3 - 4 star accommodations. We WILL NOT be staying here again. We left on November 23, 2016.

We booked two nights and had a confirmation on my phone. We showed up and were told we were only booked for 1 night and that they were completely booked for the upcoming night. We agreed we would checkout in the morning and then find another hotel for the upcoming night and paid for the night received our room keys. We went to the room and it had people staying in it. We immediately left and went back to the front desk. When I complained the only answer I got was “I don’t know what to tell you” then when they looked up our reservation for the second time we were told that we were only booked for tomorrow night. I showed my reservation again only to be told there was nothing they could do. No apology for having the wrong reservation, no apology for giving us a key to a room with other people in it. We got a refund and found a much better place to stay. This place has the absolute worst customer service, worst employees I have ever dealt with!!!

For a national hotel chain, I feel like I’m staying in some back woods town with banjos playing in the distance, I generally keep quiet about bad experiences. But this is not what I expected. Dated to the 80s and the smoke alarm was laying on the desk. Decorated from the home interior catalog and dirt in the a/c. My kids feet were black from running around in the room. A $50 motel maybe on a good night. This isn’t even what my parents dealt with on their stay. That’s another story.

Worst experience I have had with a motel. We checked in and everything was fine till we discovered bed bugs. Went and asked for a refund to go somewhere else, and the desk clerk called us every filthy name he could, and kicked us out of the front office, and said he was calling the police. I said “don’t bother, I will call them”, so I called the police and when the police got there his whole attitude changed. But we still have not received our money back. Customer service was horrible in the few hours we were there.

We didnt feel safe there, due to no door frame on the inside, dirty towels. We ask to be move to another room, they lets look at other rooms and one of the had a snake in it. But we stay there because I was to tired to find somewhere else to stay. We wont stay there again.

The only positive I have is that it is closely located to Tanger Outlet & several activities. Our room was not clean. Their was trash under the tv stand when we came in that could clearly be seen. Even the 2nd day when house cleaning came it was still there.someones nasty hair ties were on both sides of the bathroom door. NO where in our entire room was a trash can, not even the bathroom. Found a bag on a hanger that we had to use. We found several other pieces of trash around the room. They advertise flat screen TVs. No, we had a giant tube tv that didn’t even work. You could turn it on but nothing else. The universal remote didn’t work either. The towels are paper thin & just about as big as a hand towel. Blow dryer didn’t work either. Didn’t bring mine as it was listed as having one...I love walking around with wet hair...not. Breakfast, the lady started to close down at 9:20. Had many people knocking on the door that she ignored. Didn’t have a jacuzzi tub either like advertised. Was afraid to walk around with out shoes cause carpet was so gross. You definitely get what you pay for.

Stayed at this place for 3 nights. We had to change rommr after the second night when we discovered bed bugs. The new room or free upgrade, as they called it wasnt much better. The phone was on the night stand not hooked up. The air conditioner was so loud we were awakened every time the compressor came on. We were leaving first thing in the morning so we decided to just stick it out. Wont be back. Would not recommend!

I read these reviews thinking this hotel would be good for a cheap price! DONT LET THESE RATINGS FOOL YOU! Hotel has old AC units my room was hot and muggy. Half the outlets and lights worked. Also they they have old TVs and their showers barely blow water out. It was so plain and the fridge in it barely worked. Doesnt supply an iron for your clothes or anything much at all. Workers are friendly but the stairs are horrible and it needs to be cleaned fixed up all over. Breakfast was horrible and the pool is small.

I will admit it was only one person working the entire hotel that me and my husband saw. The fact is though the room was a mess. The phone was broken, the lights were only 1/2 working then theres the fact it was a smoking room with no ash trays. We even asked for one. Told we would be getting one then never got one. Yes, coved has effected all business but leaving one person to run a entyer hotel is NEVER a good idea.

If you DONT like hot showers dont stay here. Stayed 3 nights and had NO hot water. Had to ask for toilet paper and a coffee pot. On a positive note, room was clean and beds were comfortable. Location is near lots of things to do and see.

I can overlook the rooms not being updated.But the rooms are disgusting and breakfast was not appetizing. The lady in charge of breakfeast was not clean she was sweating and the paper towels she would use to clean her self, she would also wipe down the tables.I only had breakfast there 1 out of 3 nights I stayed there. I dont plan to stay here ever.

The hardwood floors were nice and the staff was friendly but the overall quality and experience was poor. When we got to the room there were random holes in the walls (small but noticable). When we were leaving for dinner I checked to make sure the door latched and found I didnt need a key to enter. Called front desk and maintenance fixed it. We requested they hook up a smoke detector to comply with fire code so they went and got one from another room. We waited a bit for them to show back up but decided to go ahead and walk to dinner. When we got back the smoke detector was chilling with low battery (11:40). Still waiting for them to come remove it or change batteries.

RIDICULOUS!! Came for my mothers 65 birthday and was so embarrassed for her to have to stay here after we checked in! Way less than what the pictures sho!! My bed Broke in the middle of the nigh, all the bedding was stained! NO HOT WATER for the 2 days we stayed! I would not recommend this! There’s way more places hat are so much nicer

Its been quite a while since I stayed here but it was a horrific experience. There was a huge chunk of dried vomit on the bottom underside part of the blanket. The staff apologized at first but became hostile when I asked for the manager. I was told there was no manager... at all. The owner wasnt available so the highest level I could speak to was the woman in charge of laundry. She accused us of puking in the bed. At the foot of the bed... under the tucked in blanket. Yes... this all really happened. Vomit In your bed? You probably did it. We dont have any management. Talk to the owner in a few days. Since the owner responded Ill go ahead and update. This is the motel on the strip with a giant windmill, right next to a go kart track. Please read all reviews. Anyone that says anything negative is insulted, attacked, or they flat out lie and claim you never stayed. Fyi..I sent pictures of the vomit bed to the BBB years ago. Rooms are fair for the price. Beds were not super comfortable, but far from the worst. Bathroom is pretty average. Windows were slightly ajar and unable to be fully closed, so any wind outside came in pretty loudly. Overall a pretty average, but well kept motel.

This is an old motel. We have been here three times over the last 2 years and it has always been clean. We are a large family and stay in the rooms with 4 full beds and it alway meets our needs well. Again it is an older motel but if that doesnt bother you then this is a good place to stay at a really good location.Our TV was a newer LCD it appears to be standard definition but if you are worried about TV quality then you probably dont need to go to Branson.When we first entered the room it did have a hint or a room that had been smoked in years ago but once we turned the heat on it was not noticeable. I th8nk it is just due to the age of the motel. My wife and kids are sensitive to that kind of over and it did not bother them after a few minutes.If you are on the third floor and you are the first room to shower for the night relax, it will take about 5 or more minutes to get hot water. It has to come up from the bottom floor so it take a few minutes to empty all the cold water from the pipes.If you are looking for a good value and not worried about the age of the building this is a great place to stay.

Everything was so dirty. When I walked inside it smelled like cigarette smoke. The floors had dust bunnies & trash. Bed sheets were stained. Spider webs everywhere. I also came home with lice. You have to call a number to get help from the front desk. You get what you pay for. I don’t know how this place is still in business.

Room was not clean at all - I had to wipe the toilet off myself, the floor wasnt vaccuumed, and there was just a lot of grime otherwise coating the place. We didnt stay more than 20 minutes at the place before finding another hotel.

We stayed here this past weekend and my daughter is now covered in quarter size welts from being bit. The bed was on the floor not even on a frame. The sheets wouldnt stay on the bed. Trim was hanging off the wall. Underneath the beds were soda bottles and all sorts of trash. We had a few baby spiders in another bed and killed a handful just around the room.

Dirty. Let me repeat myself, it’s DIRTY! A/C worked part of the time and the mattress was uncomfortable and dirty. After reading reviews we checked for bed bugs but didn’t see any. The mattress was stained and had a red X spray painted on it. (Fumigated?) Our daughter pre booked this room for us so we stayed but I would NOT recommended this place!!

We stayed 1 night. Probably will NOT be back. Room was very dirty. Carpet looked as if it had not been vacuumed, tile was sticky & room was very musty smelling.The drapes were broken & did not close all the way, allowing people to see in the room. Was going to make coffee in my room & the coffee pot had mold in it. Furniture, tv and decor is outdated. WiFi wouldnt stay connected. Thankfully we spent most of our time out on the town. Over all was disappointed.

The bed was rock hard and the sheets were dirty when we got there. The cleaning staff were super super loud early in the morning. I mean yelling across the parking lot loud. I definitely will not be back. Wish I would have spent a little more and had a clean bed somewhere else.

It was affordable, the door lock was half busted, place was kinda run down. There was a soap dispenser mounted to the shower wall, but it was soapless. The soap bar was busted to several pieces in its wrapper. Room service did come in and tidy up, but all around it was obviously a budget deal.

We booked a studio that was advertised to sleep 3. Since we were booking on vrbo we dont have the option to pick a room or see any details other than the standard photos. Once the room was confirmed and I received a confirmation email, it stated 1 king bed for 2 people. I called and was told (by a very rude representative) that the room is only for two guests and they didnt have anything else available to transfer our reservation. They are refusing to refund our money for a room we CANNOT USE. We were told a family of 3 can comfortably sleep in a king size bed. Our daughter is 12 not 2! No we CANNOT COMFORTABLY SLEEP IN A KING BED. Beware!!

Were going on our 2nd night and we still have no hot water. We were told there would be someone coming this afternoon and still no hot water. I had to heat hot water in the coffee maker and got a bowl to hear water in the microwave to give my kids a bath. We could have at least got a discount bc we have no water. Alittle disappointing bc our first stay was wonderful.

Very disappointed with our stay. This motel has been allowed to become rundown. No wash cloths, stained and badly worn chairs, ineffective AC, curtains are not fully hung anymore. Refrigerator wouldnt work and had other peoples stuff in it. Will not return.

Confrontational and threatened me and my wife physically when we locked our key in the room.Response from the owner 10 hours agoMr. Bridges what was insane is the fact that you left your children unattended to smoke a cigarette, with no regards of whether you had a key to get back in the room. Access to me after hours is by phone, not pounding on my door. So, you had no keys, no id, no phone, yelling at me at 1 am. That is why I waited for the police to verify your identity. Any parent would agree with me. Your actions were insane. All for a cigarette.I had grabbed the wrong key when I stepped outside, It was an honest mistake. Would you suggest I smoke in the same room as my children? Hotels, as they are 24h service require 24h support. I did have my phone and ID...when I called per the directions as the sign on the door stated you yelled at me for calling and asking for your help. I have a very hard time believing I am the first guest who has lost or left their key in their room. After yelling at me and refusing to let us in our room you suggested I call the cops which I did immediately... once they let us in you decided it was an opportune time to come and yell at me and my wife AGAIN. Pointing your finger, screaming, telling us we were bad parents. And for what? because we accidentally grabbed the wrong hotel key. I have stayed at hotels all over the world, and I have never NEVER had such poor service. This is beyond just a customer service issue, the way you treated us is not how people should be treated in any situation, no less a paying customer.Additionally to your poor attitude, your hotel is in total disrepair. There were bugs all over the room, trash on the floor from a previous guest, 1/2 bottle of crown royal in the fridge, broken parts of the wall. In hindsight I would of needed money from you to stay here, yet you still want to refuse service and come to yell at your guests for losing a key.Sadly there is not an option for less than 1 star, as you deserve lower. This was an awful experience and you are the reason that Branson is falling apart.I dont want anything from you, you clearly need my money more than I do, but I hope people will read this and think before they book with you. You run the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, and that is an accomplishment. So bravo on running your awful hotel into the ground by not keeping it up and treating your guests like trash.

Rooms are clean but a little dated. Our rooom had mold on the shower curtain. Free breakfast is very skimpy. Room does have a mini fridge and a microwave in it. Wifi needs a lot of improvement! On the plus side, the Tanger Outlet Mall is within walking distance, whipper snappers in right next door. Lots of shows and great food all within walking distance. Overall we were happy with our stay, just needs to be updated a little and a little cleaner.

Both times we stayed here we checked in really late like midnight and 1 AM. Both times the gentleman (sorry I didnt get his name) was always warm and welcoming. On our 2nd stay our heater didnt work in our room, I called the desk and again the warm and welcoming gentleman was very understanding and told me to come to the front desk and I was quickly placed in another room. This hotel has officially became our place to stay any time we find ourselves in Missouri. WAY TO GO Windmill inn of Branson, Mo. We cant wait to stay there again.

It was the worst motel weve ever stayed in the room was filthy there was no coffee pot, phone, no toilet paper. The motel is rotting away from itself inside and out. We had two rooms one was the kids room where nails and glass were found on the floor. We witnessed drug deals in the rear parking lot. We wont be going back

Great location. Comfy bed. Good price. Clean room. Cant hear anything from the neighbors. Only bummer is that the mini-fridge didnt work. We told them, so I imagine theyll figure something out when we check out.

Theres a chance we would have enjoyed our stay, but we will not know since David (who called me all but begging for our reservation, promising the best of the best just a few days ago) called me 40 minutes outside of Branson after 4 hours on the road to tell us they didnt have our room for us. This was at 9:45pm with two tired kids in the car. When he told me they had a smaller, less accommodating room at a higher price, I reminded him the room he had reserved for us, he said he didnt want to hear it and he HUNG UP on me. I called him back and he said there was nothing to discuss and he would be canceling our reservation. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with!!!!!

Dirty filthy smelly rooms. First room horrible, moved to 2nd room and toilet had not been flushes, was taken back to 1st room, then shown 2 more. Neither of them had been cleaned. Requested a refund and went to a different place. I had stayed here on several occasions prior, but never again.

Horrible. The rooms are sketchy, we think we saw blood on the AC machine, found old candy and change in a drawer, and we found other clothing items stuffed next to the bed. They say they have a pool, though they do, but it is only 3ft deep all the way around.

I rented the jet tub room, I had to clean the tub myself before I could use it. Then realized that there was only one bath towel. The AC unit was old and dirty with no filter in it and was broken on the front. Not happy with what I paid for such a terrible room.

If I could give a zero, I would. Very very dirty. AC didnt work properly, toilet was clogged, bedding had stains on it, gave my toddler a bath and within 5 minutes hos feet were black from the nasty carpet. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Worst hotel experience ever!

This place was disgusting. The burgundy bedspread had white crusty stuff on it. When contacted front desk, they advised us they are a 2 star hotel and cannot wash the bedspreads between every customer who rents the room. That if we wanted a 5 star hotel, we should go find one. After having him take the bedspread, we saw bedbugs on the sheet. Didnt stick around to investigate anything else. DO NOT STAY HERE. The date we were there is August 8, 2015.

Front desk attended was very rude, my husband had an upset stomach and we were 2 hours from home needed a bathroom and because the worker had covid 2 times it was our fault and if I didnt want to stay there I didnt have guy acted like it was our fault because we were being tourists in his home town. Rude rude and rude rooms were ok. Will not stay at the place again because I shouldnt be talked to like that by anyone

Had no idea what I was getting into when traveling to Branson. I thought it would just be a small midwest town, not a huge tourist destination. Only spent a single night here, but it was a pleasant enough stay that we considered driving a longer route back to stay here again. Friendly staff. The rooms were dated, but Ive seen much worse. They were perfectly comfortable.

The AC froze during the night the bed was sunk in in the middle in the tub had a dirty film in it. There were also loud suspicious people coming and going. Not the first time we were disappointed with that specific Motel!

The stay was comfortable and quiet despite the nearby attractions and entertainment. No matter which way you go you have shopping, food and fun to fill the time. The room itself was very clean and the jacuzzi bath was above expectation. I cant wait for my next vacation to be there!

Weve stayed here 4 times now and have always been pleased. The staff are there any time that they are needed and the rooms are always clean. Centrally located for shows and shopping.

1 star only because there is not a choice to give 0! the property is beautiful from the outside picture perfect the pool is blue and clean but it’s only 3 foot don’t let it fool you all the way across! Those of the good things. Upon entering the room we noticed the smell of mildew so strong our sinuses are instantly inflamed and Of course I had already pre-paid for our four-day trip and there were no refunds and we’re in the middle of tourist ills and everything is already booked up. So I can make do and get some for breeze I think well I used 3/4 of a bottle every time we left the room I doused it only to come back and the smell still be there but now it’s mildewy perfume! So I asked if there is a do not disturb sign up at the office so that when we left for the day we didn’t need any services in our room I was going to hang the door hanger they didn’t have one so I created my own apparently they ran out because I see them on some doors but they don’t have one to offer me, although I’m creative I took a air friction or package that I bought for our room and turned it around and made a clearly evident “do not disturb no services needed today thank you” sign. Which was ignored when they decided to come into our room and leave me a bar soap not replace the towels not take out the trash not make the bed not give us a roll of toilet paper which was clearly almost empty on the wall just a bar soap just to let me know you were here left it on the edge of the bathtub for me with a new rug all folded pretty!! Nosey!! What part of that sign don’t you see hanging from my door? Oh you did see it that’s when you just decided to ignore it and throw it on the floor at the base of my door which is where I found it when I came back from lunch and hour later with my new bar of soap and new floor mat. Upon the first day when we arrived we get in the bedroom and there is long dark curly black hair is in the pillows and clearly I’m going to guess at it and say it’s orange juice all over the bed sheets so I went to the office within the first five minutes of being there and requested that my sheets be changed the mirrors were filthy it’s very evident no one cleaned of this room good thing I’m a Virgo and I like to clean I ran to Walmart bought me some stuff and cleaned our motel room since we weren’t getting a refund And it’s too late to book anywhere else. a major storm came through God bless their souls it took the lives of 17 people on table rock lake while we were there on the duck boat rides it also knocked out all the exit signs at the hotel and all the lights on the outside on this back building where we were staying which made a very safe for us I also reported that to the office to no avail no one came down to check them look at them fix them nothing in 4 days, it clearly says that you get Wi-Fi I asked the man at the office what the Wi-Fi password was and he said there is no password but it doesn’t work here in the office so when you get back to your motel room just find the one that says Windmill Inn find the strongest bar and connect to it first of all I don’t like connecting to an unsecured network or I would go to McDonald’s second of all that didn’t work when we tried anyway it said no Internet connection my sister-in-law staying in another room adjacent to us ended up calling up there as well and verbally telling the man to unplug the router reset your router it’s telling us what you need to do with your system I’m sorry you don’t understand why we don’t have Internet for 2 of the 4days were staying here! The breakfast oh my goodness let me tell you about breakfast first of all it’s hidden in a little room around this dark dirty corner nowhere near the office or the beautiful 3 foot pool and there’s these people that sit in there and greet you every morning OK good morning.. but now I’m standing in front of the toaster and you’re constantly wiping the counter and lifting my plate to wipe underneath it wait til I’m done and move on my own plz I don’t know you or where your hands have been. That dirty rag in your hand!

Well it is 7 degrees here and had to fight the key to get the door open...cut my hand. Been in room for an hour and the heat doesnt seem to work very well...to boot it was off when we came in. The room wasnt very clean and bathroom...wow...dirty, toilet broken, towels looked like someone shredded them. I called the front desk to tell them the toilet was broken and they said It figures.

This place looked so nice online dont be fooled! My husband and I went here for our honeymoon. First night we came in it was 98 out and the air was off. We turned it on high and left it for 2 hours for dinner and exploring when we came back the room was still so hot. It took till the next morning for it to start to cool down. They gave us one towel and when we asked for more they blew us off till we went down stairs and asked again. We were told they were out and to come back at 5pm. When we came back they said they didnt have any and come back at 10pm. When we came back he gave us one little towel and one bath towel and told us thats all they have. On day three we asked for more towels and they still didnt have any. The room was still so hot and I asked the man down stairs to look at it. He told me the units dont work on high and freeze up if you do put them on high. He told me to turn it down to low and that it would work better. He was right! Now our room is cooler but not what it should be. If you ask for them to bring anything to the room like a dont disturb sign they tell you to come down and get it. House keeping starts at 8:30 so no sleeping in if you want fresh towels and bed made. After waking up early we still didnt get any towels from house keeping. The toilet flushes on its own. Save your money and go to a place that wants your business and wants you to enjoy your time.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!The room smelt disgusting, the beds had bed bugs, bathroom was dirty I didn’t even want to use the toilet, the shower had stuff in it, I don’t think the room has ever been cleaned we left immediately after we saw the room thankfully we got a refund after going through them hanging up on us a million times this place needs to be shut down it’s so gross

I dont understand what all the negative reviews are about. This place was great. We stayed fri. Thru monday and everything was worth it. Our bed, which DiD NOT have bed bugs, was very comfortable, the pool was clean, the front desk was nice, they have a pretty decent continental breakfast. The inn was also located within walking distance from everything. Well definitely be staying again!

Charged more than I was told on the phone once I got here theyforgot they spoke with me earlier in the day, didnt have my room had to wait for the guy to come down from his apartment yes he lives here in a room lol finally was given an over priced room in the far back when I could Cleary see closer rooms available. To get to breakfast in the morning I had to drive around to the front. Very rude and unprofessional I wont ever come back also the rooms say no pets and there was fur on the blankets and the towels were disgusting and felt like sandpaper. The whole place felt gross!

I personally did not stay at that hotel but my daughter and her family did. The two rooms they had were dirty, one bed was broken, no toilet paper and the price was outrageous for a weeklong stay. The property owners need to inspect their rooms. Office staff not helpful at all.

We came to stay for a three night four day trip to Branson and regret it. The first two days were fine. The third day we came back looking for a wallet we had left with a couple hundred dollars in it to get home. When we looked for it, it was no where to be found and the room had not been cleaned whatsoever. We had asked management if maybe the wallet had been accidentally been thrown out but they would not work with us. We asked if they could have someone help us look threw the trash to find it and they said pretty much said no. So we went ourselves to look and found nothing. The man at the front desk had called the cleaner. He said that the cleaner was with another person at the time they were cleaning our room but said that it was their word against ours. The manager had agreed to give us half of what we had in the wallet back from the cleaners pay check so it would be even. We came in the morning to get the money but the person at the desk said he had got a text saying there was no money to give. We tried to be as nice as possible he had told us to leave but we wanted our money that we were promised. The man at the desk was rude and started yelling and called the police. I do not suggest anyone stay here. The management is rude and the room hadnt been cleaned but once. We will never be coming back to this hotel.

The breakfast wasnt very good. Not much selection and everything was cold except for the milk. The beds were a little too firm but the hotel was very clean. Overall I think I got my moneys worth and had a great time.

We were able to get a room last minute at 10pm. The a/c took awhile to kick in and the stairwell was in need of some welding, but overall a good place to stay on a spontaneous trip with 4 kids.

Lovery the room! Big tv, plenty of room, and actually didnt smell bad lIke most cheaper motels. Only complaint is shower head was kinda weak. But I love my showers so shouldnt be an issue.

Very outdated. Old style box tv, telephone did not work, antique lamp, wallpaper from early 90s. It was adequate but far from nice. Very few amenities, gross food at continental breakfast. Pretty clean.

Not at all what I expected from what was pictured. Room was dirty, things left from previous tenants, rude woman at Continental nasty breakfast, asked for more towels TWICE and still didn’t get them until after 11 pm, tv didn’t work in second bedroom - had to get man from front desk to get it to work, pool only 3 feet, - just sad to have had to put my family through that.

Horrible, absolutely terrible. Please take it from someone who is economically minded and not hard to please, pay the extra money and avoid this place. I read the bad reviews and hoped for the best, but...I booked a NON-smoking room and was given a smoking room that REEKED! My son has migraines and I hope this doesn’t trigger one! No other rooms available and no discount offered!

Its perfectly fine. We used it to sleep and the bed was comfy. With the weather though, it makes your room just feel..damp. Fine for a visit for a few nights though!

We got to our room and the room was very dirty. We didnt have any hot water for a shower. We had to call the front desk for a remote for the TV. I guess they were rationing the toilet paper also because we had a quarter of a roll in our room

I recently decided to take vacation with my family to branson. We paid in advance to stay at this hotel and some of the sites here in branson. The hotel was filthy when we got to it there was nasty stuff under the bed but that was not even the worst of it all. They had bed bugs horribly and so bad that my child has over 100 bites on her body and bad enough I had to take her to an urgent care here in branson and to top it off the only thing the manager did was refund out money for the hotel nights stay. I could care less about that this mans hotel has put my childs health in danger because she has sever allergies and asthma on top of this. The hotel is not wanting to do anything about this matter but I will be taking further action because my child is just getting worse because of this instead of better. I strongly strongly suggest no one ever using this hotel. I have picture proof of the bed bugs and filth in this place!!!!

Absolutely the worst place to stay. Room was dirty. House keeping never came to clean our room. There was food on the floor, floor never vacuumed. Wifi didnt work. We didnt get clean towels for 2 days. Customer service at the desk was not good. Definitely not worth what we paid to stay. We will not be coming back to stay!

Poor quality towels. Box spring was broken. Very outdated. Did not bother to take pride and change the name of interior signs from Dutch country inn to current name. Very cheap room though which was only plus.

Had a great time. Manager George, Donna in breakfast, Sheila, and managers wife were so kind and helpful to us. Clean room. Overall had a beautiful homelike time there.

All I can say is that the price is amazing. But how can a hotel have no towels other than the ones already in the room. Also for some reason there is some tissue a towel or a shirt coming out the bathroom ceiling.

The hotel was outdated but comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast was satisfactory. The location is great, within walking distance of Tanger Outlets and a very short drive to Walmart if you forgot anything.

If you are on budget you cannot do any better than the Windmill. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and quick to respond. Close to all the action and restaurants. The rooms had microwave, mini fridge for your own drinks and food. A coffee maker with coffee.

Checked in Friday July 10th and stayed till Sunday July 12th cause already paid for 2 days the ac didnt work and the TV or wifi on Friday night told the owner they sent maintenance on Saturday morning they fixed the TV and wifi did something to ac it worked for a bit but never. Worked the way it was suppose to it just kept making a weird noise and never was fixed

Battery in the smoke detector was dead, their solution was to remove the smoke detector. Bed sheets and towels had stains. Manager refuses to contact me about my stay.

We checked in to this place. We called to make the reservation and got 4 different price rates for the same room. Finally we agreed to a price. The front desk check in was an experience when the person at the desk ask me to sign to take responsibility for the room. I have stayed many times in Branson to include Award Winning hotels and this was the first time I was ask by a front desk person who I found out later is the owner, to sign to take RESPONSIBILITY for the room. It seems that the owner who says he is the GM doesnt take THE RESPONSIBILITY for the stained dirty towels that feel like sandpaper, nor for the outdated TVs, nor for the dirty floors, nor for the sorry breakfast with old eggs, bread and biscuits, nor for the rooms that have a smell of a foreign odor like roach spray and the lack of concern for how I as a guest feel. SO WHEN YOU CHECK IN THIS HOTEL GET READY TO Sign to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for the OUTDATED ROOMS and pay a $200.00 penalty for anything they deem fit to charge you with after you leave! There is one good thing about this place and that is when you leave!

This place was perfect for my big family. We had 5 adults and 6 kids and fit perfect in the 2 bedroom family suite! It was clean and in the perfect spit to get to everything.

There were bed bugs! I took pictures and video and when I showed the man working at the desk he was very rude and told me they have people to spray and it wasnt his job it was theirs! The wallpaper and trim was hanging off the walls and it smelled old.

Its an older motel that has some modern amenities. Clean bed and decent breakfast. The window unit air con was working but I was nervous it work stop by the looks of it.

After staying here for 3 nights my sin was itching and had bites all over him. Bed bug bites all over all of us. I would avoid this place unless tou want to take home bed bugs.

You get what you pay for... Clean rooms, interesting, but helpful facilities staff, sights and sounds constantly ; get up early of you want to avoid major traffic. Exactly what we paid for :) A very nice time, thanks.

False advertising. Website said continental breakfast, sign out front said continental breakfast but not even a coffee pot.. staff said it was too expensive to do in the winter. How much do stale donuts and coffee cost?

Dirty. Refrigerator made loud noises in the middle of the night. Their breakfast was a dry biscuit. And found a bed bug in our bed. I told the man at the desk and he just said OK. POOR SERVICE!

Well when you get there and the door handle and stuff was hanging out you got to front desk and tell them. They give you a suite and that room has mold on the walls and bugs on the bed. You dont stay

One of the best hotels weve ever been to. Its a good hotel for a good price. extremely kind and friendly staff. The location is right in the middle of the Branson strip. overall its a really nice hotel and we will come back here whenever we come back to Branson.

2 words bed bugs me my kids my wife and my mother in law stayed one night and my wife and son woke up with 30+ bites. We notified the staff and they informed us that we were not the first to bring this to there attention. I highly advise against staying here there are several places in the area to stay in the same price range

The motel wasnt busy at all. It is an older place to stay in Branson. Our room was nice and the bed was comfy...we will come back for sure....the price was right $48 a nite...

Ac stopped working out of date on something’s blood on one of the bed blankets and was supposed to have 4 beds and only had 3. No phone in room had to call for more towels because no one was at the front desk and took them almost 45 mins to get anything we needed.

Room itself was decent, but the internet was unreliable and the breakfast was absolutely awful. Also the pool was alright but only went three feet deep, really just for kids honestly.

Lights are not plugged in (I wonder why), very very dirty, ick, mattress pads are stained with who knows what, looks like fresh splatters on every wall, I hope we make it thru the night. Not worth any money, run.

Rooms need updated badly. No coffee pot in the room but that could have been a covid thing so people dont share it. Staff was nice.

Staff was unfriendly & unhelpful - newly hired staff per handy man employee on site. Breakfast was mediocre. The worst part was having our car window busted out just a couple hours before we were about to leave. They took everything inside the car & trunk. Branson police took over an hour to respond when we called them. The officer subtly let us know this would probably go no where (and it didnt). Found out the night desk guy had let his drug dealer buddy stay in a room for free the night we were burglarized. Also day desk guy told us a lot of money was taken from the hotel safe too. I wanted all our money back for our stay, but the owner would not consent. The front desk guy finally took off the room charge for the last night b/c off the break in. There were no places open to get parts or get the window replaced in or around Branson on Saturday or Sunday, so we had to drive the car back to TX with earplugs & plastic covering the drivers window. Not really safe for driving and not being able to see if someone is next to you on the highway. Our advice is NEVER stay here, no matter what price they give you - it isnt worth the pain. We lost all our photos & videos from all the shows we attended when they took our cameras, and all Christmas presents we had bought for friends & family & numerous other valuable items. We also found out another vehicle was broken into the same night, but not sure what was taken from them. They were checking out too. Nothing to show we ever went to Branson, except a police report, but we do have a new drivers window that cost a bundle too.

Make sure you raise Cain if your AC isnt working at 1:30 AM in the morning with your pregnant wife. That is what one of the front desk workers suggested I do. We followed protocols enough to try and get into another arrangement or have it fixed and he said there was nothing available, then 10 minutes later says there is a lesser value room available after the fact that we were packed up and ready to leave to our home. Im never suggesting this place nor staying in this location ever!

This was the worst my family went here and we didnt even get room sevice and the refrigerator didnt work and the people were smoking when it said a smoke free area and when we too showers we couldnt get clean towls because they were outside on their phones then they had half of their cleaning people leave. If you are looking for a cheap hotrl dont go here if i could i would five them a -1000

Do not stay here. The place is in disrepair. We were in a bind and couldnt find anywhere else to stay because of spring break. We would stay in our car before we paid (let alone over-paid) to stay here again.

Great location. Fairly clean room. Problems with a few electrical outlets in our room, but the price cant be beat to stay there and its centrally located on the strip

This place has been around for a while 30 years to be exact. So dont expect all the new age bells and whistles. But with that said come sleep well and enjoy your visit to Branson..

The only way I could post this review was by giving this sorry place a star. I’m not even going to give this place any stars. In my opinion, I would advise no one to stay here, first of all you have to try and deal with a very rude, dishonest and incompetent desk attendant, then you find out you don’t have a reserved room. You don’t tell a customer It’s Black Friday. That just states your money hungry!

I will never go through o y o again because I got charged for one price and then I had to pay $22 more because they booked me wrong the location was great three out of four rooms had cockroaches the sanitizer had mold inside it there was never enough towels and I told the people that there was cockroaches and they looked at me like I was crazy the Act Surprised there was roaches in all three rooms I just told my family did not bring any bugs back we would have checked out of there early if we would have not seen them in the second night we was there at midnight

Had to move 3 times and the drop ceiling fell in the second room I think we should have been offered a partial refund because I was told that they have a brand new owner and if he fixes the problems they currently have we would probably return because the rooms are not bad and they are clean...

Room is very musty but it had a lot of room for everybody the breakfast was awesome my son-in-law fix the toilet because it would not flush then it worked great very convenient good price

Beds were fairly hard and uncomfortable, water pressure was very low, and breakfast was subpar. Service staff was very friendly, however, and the price is cheap.

Well we stayed here so let me start with the bed is hard as a rock this room was supposed to be smoking with no ashtrays in it half of the light receptacles do not work you get two towels and thats it the bathtub is stained up the bed sags in the middle the heater quit working on us and I called the front desk to get a maintenance man and I end up having to fix the heater myself I will definitely never stay here again how about that one

The air in the room was good and cool. The bed slept well but we stayed 4 nights and they only cleaned the room one time.

If I could put 0 stars I would, me and my dad stayed here this weekend, first room we had seemed ok, we came back later to find cockroaches all over the room and other bugs, they gave us another room, and it was in bad shape broken furniture, Capet was old and worn out with stains, mattresses were horrible, ac was soso, shower was made for very short people, gum was on ceiling of room, no hotel phone, some rooms u walk by was worse and smelled of mold, half the hotel wasnt able to be used you could tell, the room next to ours their ac almost caught on fire, there room was as bad shape, noticed they gave the roach room out the next night to someone else, we wont ever got back there and wont recommend it to anyone, for $186 for two nights you would think something nice on the strip at least I rather stay at motel 6, city of Branson needs to shut down the hotel, talked to others and they said they wont ever go back

The rooms smell like cigarette smoke. Tvs are out dated with no remotes.towels are old and not fresh. Beds are hard as concrete. Do not I repeat do not stay at the windmill inn

The location was great and staff was nice. The room was ok but the place itself is rundown. Could definitely use a facelift.

Room was very dated, it had stains on the floor, snot on the bathroom walls, had to kill two kissing bugs outside of the door, we were put on a side of the hotel where none of the rooms on the bottom floor had locks on the doors or even a/c units on the wall.

Service was good, workers were friendly. Didnt have any major issues. Decent place to stay for what you are paying.

DONT stay at this motel....We stayed here they have BED BUGS...If u call the office for anything they HANG UP on u they DONT CLEAN THEIR ROOMS....the place is s dump found joint rapper on the floor .. m&ms on the floor . We got a lot of bites on our body from the BUGS told the office and they hung up ....If u ask for a Corporate number or someone higher up they tell u there is NOBODY.....We asked them to change our sheets because of the BUGS they just threw them on the bed....DONT STAY HERE!!!They also gave us different rooms then we were supposed to hv..

Older hotel. railings are ducktaped! Ac doesnt work well. Towels are tiny and scratchy. Good thing is location is great amd beds are compfy.

Door would not lock. Wall in bathroom was dirty and shower sprayed out into bathroom since there was no frame. The bed was like a brick. Spend a little more.

The Branson Windmill Inn is cozy and clean. We are walking distance to so much of the attractions and eateries. Perfect location and decent prices!

WiFi didnt work even after I called and spoke to management he promised to go in an hour and that didnt happen. Great room though.

NO STAR TO BE TAPPED. OUR FAMILY (2 ADULITS AND 2 CHILDREN) CHOSE TO STSY WITH THIS PLACE AFTER OUR FIRST TIME TO BRANSON MO. GOT A SMOKING ROOM. GOT CHECKED IN PAID CASH. 60.00. GOT ONE ROOM KEY. WENT TO ROOM. ALL LIGHT BULBS HAD TO BE TWISTED INTO THERE LAMPS BEFORE WE GOT LIGHT. THEN TURNED ON HEAT IN ROOM. NO HEAT AT ALL. CALLED THEY BROUGHT A SPACE HEATER. AFTER THEY OFFERED A SMOKE FREE. NONE AVABLE. HAD TO STAY UP ALL NIGHT TO MAKE SURE NO PROBLEMS. ROOM WAS DIRTY. ALSO WALKING TO THE ELEVATORS TO LEAVE THERE WERE SPOTS OF BLOOD GOING PAST OUR ROOM ALL THE WAY TO THE EXIT AT THE OTHER END. THEN WAS TOLD WHEN WE CHEKED OUT WOULD REFUND MONEY. THEY 8 HOURS LATER. NO MONEY BUT A DISCOUT ON ANOTHER ROOM NEXT TIME. NOT GOING THERE AGAIN.

The place is good and very comfortable and very affordable.. But the WiFi connection is very unstable(if you intend to work while you stay here).

The tub was dirty, trash was under the bed that was no ours, and we ran out of toilet paper.
