Probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was awful, prices are high, and the service was painfully slow. There were more workers than diners, yet we did not get good service. I will never return to this disaster zone, and I do not recommend! The music was way too loud too.
I would give zero stars if I could.Very rude management. Ive never had such a horrible experience with a manager in my life. I would rather eat discount Chinese food before I go back. I do have to say the waitress was very friendly and did an excellent job.Per response from management. I will pursue this matter further if need be. Im sure that your customers will not agree with the way your manager treated a disabled American Veteran.
I love this little place and come here a few times a year.First, its in a perfect location. Within walking distance to the Landing, on the water (perfect for a stroll to work off the food after you eat!), near the water car rental (sp you see him depart/arrive literally next to you in the water).Second, in the day its a great restaurant for fresh air and sun with the family/kids/friends... and by night a wonderful place for adult music and drinks.Third, the drinks are made well, they are quick to recommend alternatives, and the food is delicious!!If you come to the Landing area, or even just Branson, this is a wonderful place to enjoy food and scenery. Highly recommended.
Ordered the Perfect Chicken Sandwich with Tater Tots. It was hot and fresh. The chicken was well seasoned, bacon had a good crisp especially for how thick it was, and the tots were perfectly crispy on the outside while soft inside. The bun was good and fluffy. Went on a Wednesday and they had live music. The band was enjoyable. I will be back and would recommend.Cocktail was great as well.
I havent tried the food, but loved stopping here when coming through Branson. Please open back up!
Awesome outside eating area on lake Taneycomo! Beautiful views! Great band to listen to and nice outdoor dance area. Food was ok...but gave you large potionsAlittle pricey so we split the French dip which was huge but not the best tasting at all. My strawberry daiquiri was weak and didnt taste good at all! We might try this place again just for the great outdoor eating area and views .
We went here for evening live entertainment. Staff was friendly and its on the lake. Ended up here twice. One caution, the first night we tried to get an Uber just after 10pmand couldnt. We tried for almost an hour and nothing was available and the only can company we could find didnt answer the phone. Starting to wonder how we would get back to our hotel. I spoke to our server and she called a friend that drives for Uber. Thankfully he finally made it over and picked us up. Great place to sit on patio and listen to music.
Great atmosphere and nice place to go with friend I really like and I love the international Monday party wowww they think in all the cultures and play music Hindi , Dominican music and Jamaican music too and of course American music I really love that place the food is amazing .The place has a nice view because it is in landing Branson [email protected]
We had an excellent time here last night for the best band in Branson-The Dirty Saints! Thank you for everything Lianne Milton, Kodi(Excellent Server) Keep doing what you do-You are great at it! Thank you Jo for helping us with our fantastic seating! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was awesome! Everybody was enjoying themselves! Love Love Love this place!! 😊❤️
I am a local to Branson and we love going to the Paddlewheel. However the past 3 times we’ve been there with a group of friends for an event, the staff has been completely rude and awful to their customers. It’s to the point where we no longer want to spend our time or money there. You experience this horrible attitude at the front area just trying to get in. We even had reservations! It seems to me they plan these fun events but don’t have the staff or kitchen capacity to handle all the people who show up. One visit, they closed the kitchen to us and said we couldn’t order for an hour. We didn’t even get our food til 9pm at night. Some people had kids and they were kicking their children out of the bar before even receiving their food. Servers yelling at customers. It’s honestly beyond ridiculous how they treat their paying customers AND locals. The food is always awesome and their events are fun BUT the staff makes you not want to be there. We most likely won’t be back.Lots of customer service improvement is needed. AND this is our Mayors bar.
Band wasnt good. They had their own following. But the only good thing was the service. They need to audition bands before they bring them on and charge people to get in and listen to them. I want my money back.
Spent 2 nights in a row here. The staff is amazing. The food and drinks are 🔥. Hubby and I worked our way through their drink menu. The atmosphere was great. Highly recommend. We will be back next time we are up that way!!
Dinner on the water, with live music, wonderful views and great service from Blue. Nice atmosphere, outdoor deck on the lake, indoor AC bar, multiple other indoor and outdoor seating areas. Nice place to spend an evening.Limited food menu, but tasted great. Beer was ice cold. Live music on Saturday in the summer with a very laid back atmosphere. On the night we were there it went 21+ after 9pm, which was fine for us.
Where to start? First ordered unsweetened tea was brought sweet. Not too big of a deal. Just took about 10 minutes to correct. Then ordered chicken strips but they just ran out. Again not too big of a deal. Ordered wings by half pound. They did not ever bring out the honey mustard but was charged $2 for it.Wife ordered same but with buffalo. They charged $2 extra dollars because they were dipped in sauce. Asked for loaded fries but got regular. Again they made loaded fries and charged $1 extra for sour cream. Ordered a side salad and was charged for it but never got it. Charged $1 for a cup of ketchup. Went for karaoke but the locals knew how to sign up and put their names in 2 or 3 times in a row. So we sat thru about 16 songs of average singers who thought they were Garth Brooks and Shania Twain. Ended up leaving at 9pm before my name was called.
First visit was on a Wednesday, they had a live band that plays every Wednesday and we really enjoyed them. Tyler was our waiter and was super attentive and loved him! Came back on Friday and was not as impressed with our service and our server Andrew. Our order was messed up and I sent it back for correction. I was charged for the incorrect item and the wrong item. We had to ask other servers in our area for drinks and refills as Andrew never really paid us much attention, we where not a big ticket table. Food was good, portions worth the price. Fridays band was awesome. If we where to return would seek out Tyler, he was amazing. Overall not a bad place, some servers need to be educated and pay better attention to there tickets. Every table deserves stellar service regardless of the party size or bottom line. Clearly Andrew did not care and his tip reflected such.
Great place once we got through the patio, the bouncer had a nasty attitude towards everyone, even the employees that worked there, one said that he was fired from another bar that they worked at with him for getting into fights with people. Then later on I go back out to meet a friend at the door, and I see the door guy/bouncer push a guy out of the way to go tackle another guy. So I went to see if that guy was okay, I heard him on the phone with 911, which is crazy bc they said they called. My family has had a lake house and properties down around table rock for the past 25 years, and I’ve never seen anything like this. Terrible management, should’ve never happened.
Very disappointing, subpar experience and not at all up to the standards that we are used to at Branson Landing. Food was pricey but we dont mind paying more, if its good. It wasnt. Dive bar quality food would have been an improvement on what we received. We were so embarrassed to have brought out visitors for such a terrible experience! Service was slow, not uncommon these days, but also very unfriendly. We will not be back, nor will we recommend to anyone else!
WOW! The Chicken Quesadilla and the loaded tots are simply the best bar food I’ve ever had. We visited on a Wednesday night and the musicians for open mic night were phenomenal! Views of the river at night were great too.
I had a blast on Friday the 26th. Damsel was great!!!! Met some really fun & nice people from Arkansas & Illinois. Danced...oh my gosh...I got to dance. Closest I felt to being around my kind of people & environment in a long time. We ordered cod from the menu ...large portions..good food. Will be going again... soon
Horrible service and we had to keep asking for things we didnt get. Was to get ketsup with fries and got none so asked for some they brought one. Was supposed to get honey mustard got none. Salad never showed up. Husband paid the bill and they didnt take off the bill. Charged 50cents for 3 ketsup got one. Charged $1.50 for the honey mustard we didnt get. Had Karaoke and son put his name on the list and the friends of the dj sang 3 songs each either alone or with someone. We sat there for 35 minutes and he was never called up and never goong back Thursday night bust.
Fun place floating on the water. Karaoke was a big hit the night we went. Tons of people singing & some getting a lil bit crazy. Seems like its really fun place to hang out both day & night.
Great food, great service, and the talent is off the charts on stage. This year it looks to be even larger dock, stage, and dance area. Cant wait to spend time here again. Hidden jewel.
Good music and right on the lake. I always liked the atmosphere here but last time I was here the bartenders were so incredibly rude.
Nice outdoor seating for an evening meal by the lake and fire pit. Drinks and food were way too expensive for the quality we received. Service was great. $5.50 bottles on a karaoke night is unacceptable. We had the fish tacos… they were ok but not nearly enough food (2 tacos and enough salsa to dip 4 chips) to justify a $14 plate. Also had the “1/2 lb of wings” appetizer for $8. They were pretty good but again, only 5 wings? Giving 4 stars based mostly on the environment and the service.
It’s a fun location and a great place to grab a late-night drink. The staff was friendly. I liked the IPA on tap. The outdoor music with lots of heater / fire options was awesome.
Went to dinner with a friend from out of town. This place was perfect. Not too loud, we could talk and hear each other. Fabulous food and our service was superb. To make our night even more perfect an angel picked up our tab. There still is good people around and we found 1 here! Ill be returning that for certaim.
We chose Paddlewheel for a night of dinner and music in Branson landing. The music was great (Eastern Heights). The service and food were not.I ordered a burger and my wife ordered a Reuben. It took more than 1 1/2 hours to get our food. By the end, we had decided it was on purpose to make us drink more. A guy dropped our food and was gone. My wife had ordered chips as her side to eat with their homemade salsa. The chips were very stale ( very bad). The bread on the Reuben was also stale. The burger was ok. My fries were actually pretty good. We ate our entire meal without napkins. When our waitress finally returned, i asked for our ticket. We were still sitting there with greasy hands and no drinks. She disappeared for another 30 minutes before i went to the bar and told them i was trying to pay.The atmosphere was awesome. It could be a great place. Our experience although was very disappointing.
Adding to this a month later: Paddlewheel has reworked their kitchen/menu and you REALLY need to check this place out now! Some of the best food on the entire Landing! We had their St. Patricks Day Ruben and it was one of the best weve ever tried, including some pretty hoity-toity restaurants that serve this sandwich... we love this place!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Excellent live local music hot spot, and the food here is a surprise, we love the burgers!!!! Definitely check this place out!
Not very welcoming to tourists which I’m sure brings in most of the revenue. Bartender had no clue what Blantons was🤣🤣 if you plan on visiting from out of town just be aware of the locals the Bible belt is just a little different.👎🏿👎🏿
We got the fish tacos and chicken sandwich and were blown away, the food was excellent. Justin was our server and was on top of everything, fast, accurate, and very kind. Well definitely be back when we visit Branson again.
We were there during non-peak hours, but the service was outstanding. They had live music set up to play later that evening. It seems like a great place to go and have a few drinks and listen to good music. The food was solid, but nothing Id rave about. (I am a pretty harsh critic of food, so thats actually more of a compliment i guess). Overall we had a great time and shared a good meal. You cant ask for much more.
While the outside dock area is an excellent place to hang for on the water experience in the day but friendly/helpful service lacks. I visited on business June 22 and again last week. I brought group of 4 or more each time. All commented how unwelcome we felt. We left and went elsewhere. Now, the night time at Paddlewheel is a different story. Pleasant and helpful servers, good bar food and music.
Completely exceeded my expectations. From online searches it looked like a bar with bar grub and counter service. Was a very good dining experience for my family. Food was on point. Water was wet and cold, and despite being busy, the wait staff took great care of us. The fish and chips and fish tacos are a must have. Karaoke was a pleasant surprise. After a long days hard travel, this casual dining spot was the perfect ending.
Its a neat venue on the water in the Branson landing. Mostly outdoors so not sure it would be good if raining. They had an open mic night when I was there but appears that have a larger stage for bigger events. If Im back in Branson, I will go back.
Went for dinner: fast/friendly service and food/drink came out quick. The menu is small, but diverse -- food was delicious. Ask about the kids menu, if youre looking for that.Regarding COVID: seemed quite safe. All staff wore masks. Tables were well spread out. Lots of outdoor seating.
This is the absolute best restaurant and bar in Branson. Family friendly til 8:59pm then 9pm its party time and leave the kids whereverz...Have fun. Leave your worries at the door. Judgment free and fun and REAL entertainers...Not just Branson entertainment. This place has it all....AND IT FLOATS ON THE WATER. Omgosh their nachos too. Eat them. Now...
Meh, cool place to hangout but the staff is not friendly! Other customers are what make this place a point to come to, otherwise this place is trash. It’s like the people here don’t want to work and want to just show how much power they have in the company! I don’t have time for that nonsense so I will not be back, terrible experience by the end, and I will never be wasting my money here again!
We had a great dinner and time here. Nice atmosphere on the river and no wait for a table at 7 on Saturday! Staff hands down were the best Ive ever had serve me. Worked really well together, were attentive, and very friendly, specially with our daughter. We had chicken wontons, mac and cheese and fish which were all delish. They had a really good band playing too.
Party of 6. Food was very good, except Reuben sandwiches needed more meat. Best fish sandwich in the area & sweet potato tots were a nice surprise. Blue, our server, was knowledgeable & made our evening fun.
The food was good, at a nice pace and the staff was very friendly. However, I spent over 2 hours there and have two issues. First, not a soul was being carded for alcohol including multiple in my party who are only a few months into 21. Secondly, the music was incredibly too loud for the proximity of seating. Having to yell is normal at a concert, but live music at a food establishment should be comfortably loud, not hindering conversations.
I found this place online by accident one day and I decided I wanted to go there. My boyfriend and I went (it was both of our first times) and we had a blast. It’s such a fun environment! The place was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the food was great. The restaurant is on the water (which explains the name of the restaurant) and they were having karaoke while we were there. We will definitely be going back!
First timers. I had the baked mac n cheese with chicken ... DELICIOUS!!! My husband had the pulled pork and loved it. Our server was Justin and he was friendly and solicitous. Will definitely go back.
Went for open mic night. That was a joke ! It was a bunch of old men singing ancient country. No drums, so I guess its only for singers and guitar players? 1 server for the whole music area, she couldnt keep up. Since when is meat extra in nachos ?!?! Plain cheese nachos $12, thats CRAZY ! Then if you want meat, $5 more, so $17 for nachos ??? Wow ! I drank my $10 mug of beer and left. I wont be back.
We came in for a conference, stopped in.. we loved it, excellent place! Service is great! You will never go unattended, these employees work as a team! The deck is awesome!!I would say top choice for downtown Branson, wonderful place to relax, have a few drinks, listen to music, and eat great food!!!
Horrible dining experience rude unfriendly staff. Food was not as good as I anticipated given the reviews. Will not return plenty of others places to eat in Branson with better food and atmosphere.
I would give this place at 3.5. Loved the atmosphere outside. However service isnt the greatest. They really dont have good specials. The drinks are kind of bad. Food is fair if you are starving. Definitely the atmosphere gets the best rating specially if they have a live band and if that live band is NRG. Those kids sing well. I can drink all day listening to them.
Came here for a late dinner and low and behold they stop serving dinner at 9:00. Sounds like the type of thing you should have on your website. But it’s not and what I did find was a snotty bar tender that wanted to avoid the fact offer some half hearted solution despite knowing the area and pointing us in the right direction. Personally it seems like a tourist trap and the yelp reviews are atrocious. I say enter at your own risk. Seems they don’t care to be very transparent.
Was originally planning a steakhouse for mothers day dinner but glad we ended up here instead. Service was excellent. Beth was a superb waitress , PJ was great too. Food and atmosphere was better than expected. Really enjoyed having our family dinner here.
Unique, historic and fun place to bring your friends and family during the day. At night its a great place to hang out on the lake and enjoy the outdoor fire pits. Friendly staff, great location with an amazing atmosphere and great options to eat. Dont hesitate to visit, it might become one of your favorite spots on the Branson Landing.
Karaoke is super fun!!! Sing til your hearts content. The food and drinks are tasty and affordable. The impromptu dance floor is welcoming so get down on it and cut a rug. Open-air seating on the deck allows for physical distancing and an overall good time.
We went after the kitchen was closed, the drinks werent bad, the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Our server was super sweet and friendly
Food was excellent and the atmosphere was super relaxed. Service was amazing! We had a party of 9 and everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Great local place and it is always fun to eat on the water.
Great food, friendly wait staff!! Wife had the open face roast beef special and loved it, kids had the chicken tenders/fries and cleared their plates. Burger was really good. Great fries, crispy, seasoned and alot of them!!
Place was clean and warmb, love how they have the fire stoves on every table to keep us warm. Server was friendly and nice. Food was delicious, and the bands was playing. It was awesome, I will definitely be going back there. Love it .
The entertainment is great here however everything else is bad. The service is a disaster from the moment you arrive. Its not uncommon to go an hour without having a server check on you. The manager who wanders aimlessly and looks like he slept under a fryer is even more clueless than the service staff. He will literally stare at a table with empty drinks for 45 minutes and not make a move to correct it. If you ask him for drinks he will search for any other employee to help you but he wont do a thing. Finally safety, please be careful if you go there was the beginning of a fight that broke out due to an overly intoxicated person, who was already drunk upon arrival, and No one from the staff knew there was an incident until other customers removed him from the bar, then it took 3 employees to chat with him for 30 minutes before removing him from the dock. If you want good service and entertainment try the treehouse.
My family and I travel fulltime and when we arrived in Branson, I began looking for Open Mic nights as I do just about everywhere that we travel. I learned about The Paddlewheel and decided to go and give it a shot. My first night a few weeks ago I was welcomed with open arms. Super chill environment with just a group of passionate musicians vulnerable enough to share their gift publicly on a stage. Todd joined me on his bass the first night and it was absolutely amazing. Afterwards I had a great conversation with him and and also met Troy briefly. My second time there I was cordially greeted by first name by both Todd and Troy which I thought was amazing! I also met some other wonderful people/musicians who I have stayed in contact with. Needless to say the paid;ewheel is an amazing place speaking particularly about the open mic venue hosted by TnT! they are dynamite duo and I am honored to have been afforded the opportunity to share the stage at the Paddlewheel with them as well as the other talented musicians that attend the open mic nights. So looking forward to getting a few more time to play while we are still in Branson! Kudos to you paddlewheel for serving it up well!!
Always good music. Fair prices and a neat location. The only real downside was how many people were smoking outside. You wouldnt think it would bother you, but it was really strong both times that we went. Still a good time though.
I always love coming here! They have huge portions with really good food and drinks. Its perfect to unwind at!
Food is decent but very limited options. Need more umbrellas since its primarily outdoor seating. Waterfront view makes it worth while, ducks and geese swim up to the railing to beg a scrap of your bun. Live music after dusk is nice.
Andrew was absolutely amazing! We had a rowdy bachelorette crew. He was able to memorize all of our orders, even though we were all over the place. He was friendly and engaging. He made sure we weren’t waiting on him whatsoever. The bouncer was super friendly and too special care of this elderly lady that needed help. I would hands down recommend this place.
We had wings. They were good. Wait staff was excellent. Sat and listened to Brock. Very good time. Had the heaters going outside. Was nice
Great entertainment for ALL ages. They have a jukebox and an arcade. The food was Delicious ! I also like how each table has its own call button to get the waitress attention. My first time here, I was invited to a baby shower / birthday party. IF youve never been, I suggest you check it out for yourself. Youll be Thankful ya did
Wow! Stay away from this place. They are very rude to their customers. Plenty of other great restaurants in the area that treat people with respect.
Tried this place for the first time while on vacation, didn’t realize 90% of seating was outside. Tried to sit inside at first and was freezing and smelled like smoke. Moved outside and the music was entirely too loud and signs posted everywhere stating no smoking yet everyone was. My husband got the Mac and cheese and it was good but my fish tacos were so bland and not worth the price. We rushed through our meal from the wave of cigarette smoke hitting us from the table next to us. Would not return.
Dee our waitress was absolutely amazing. It was only her second day on the job but she rocked it! She made sure we were taken care of the entire time we were there. They have great food and the rum cha cha coffee is amazing!
What a terrible experience. We arrived at 8:34, we noticed several times a waitress and a manager pointing and talking about our table of 5 including a 9 year old. At 8:49 our waitress came to the table and got our drink order saying she was sorry it took her so long but they were very busy and no one could find any menus. There were several empty tables around. She left to get our waters and find menus then at 8:55 came right back telling us they did not allow children after 9:00.We saw no sign telling us no kids after 9 and when we left we saw no sign either. And there were 2 other children at 2 different tables. No kids after a certain time is fine but I sure would post that rule at the front door where it can be seen. Also the whole first 15 minutes of waiting with the waitress and manager pointing and talking about our table should have been a good sign for us to go ahead and leave. We just really wanted to try the restaurant. We won’t be back though and we will not pass a good word.
Great staff, very friendly, and as soon as my friend and I grabbed a beer and sat down by the propane fire rock table a man came over and asked if we would like it lit. The crowd that hangs around is very versatile, a little something for everyone. Live music and a great way to spend a weekend night.
The food was good. The service sucked. I would give it 5-stars, except my wife went the night before and had the exact same crappy service. The waiter just couldnt keep item straight and ordered the wrong items from the kitchen. He had to go back and forth a lot to get the orders right. Bonus is that I did get a free appetizer, because he did order one to many of them.
Karaoke with KJ Dave is awesome! The bathroom availability can be a bit of an issue but they are always clean. The staff is friendly and the drinks are always cold. Love the water views and tables with fire pits!
Not (African American Black ethnicity ) friendly!!! Me (African American woman) and my husband (African American) went here to enjoy the view of the lake while eating the food that we heard so much about from the Branson Residents and was treated Less favorable and less than a person. Waited 20 minutes for a waitress to approach us even though several walked passed us and never greeted us. Was starred at with disgust by other people that were there as well. We decided to go into the shack looking area to place an order after not being greeted or served when a waitress yelled at us about no outdoor food when i only had ice cream. She was yelling saying it and was rude toned as well. Its understandable but There were no signs anywhere about it. The vibe was awful and the way we were treated. Very discriminatory towards African American ppl. Will be contacting a lawyer and BBB
This was an amazing event, Psychobilly Cadillac definitely didn’t disappoint and played a great show. The staff and food was excellent as well, what a great night.
Really enjoyed the band and enjoyed a very laid back atmosphere. Kevin was our bartender and he was not only amazingly patient with my indecisive drink ordering, but also seemed to have a great relationship with the locals sitting around us.
I was assaulted by the guy carding at the entrance. I gave him 2 ID’s and ten dollars and he said “why are you trying to make it hard for me?” He pushed me and took the third guy in line to the ground. The cops reviewed the footage and asked if I wanted to press charges but I didn’t. The guy carding was on a power trip. He shouldn’t work there anymore
The owner, Larry Milton, (also mayor of Branson) had a drag show at the paddlewheel that was televised a few years ago.. No big deal... But now is against another bar in town having a drag show... Hypocrisy at its finest. I guess it was fine when he did it because he made a lot of money from it... But now has issues with another bar in town doing it? I wouldnt support that place for all the money in the world
Its an actual paddle boat on the lake with a nice view. Food is ok, nothing to write home about, but the staff is nice, and helpful. Pricing is, aaahh, 3 of us ate and had drinks for $50. DJ played good music. They do smoke there so while youre eating that is not good since there was no inside eating.
Can’t believe you allow your door guy to assault your patrons for no reason. Horrible behavior that guy needs to go. I hope the two individuals we were with press charges
The wife and I had fun meeting new people there. It had a band there singing in the bluegrass style of music, it Was so sweet!!! I was like a hangout area because it had a group there together for someones birthday. The waitresses were cute and they had a side for playing pool and watching the game on a huge screen that was great too!!! We hope to be back sometime soon.
Had fun. Nice heated outdoor patio with service for drinks and food. Friendly waiter. Went inside and played pool. Very chill and not crowded. Guy was setting up for live music when we left. Seemed like a nice place to go. Will go back.
Welcome to this terrible entertainment venue. The management allows their thug door guy to assault people. People that arent even in the establishment. Gross negligence and battery. Management is somehow ok with this.
Theyve got great stout on tap, fun, comfortable atmosphere, and live music. Great place to finish the evening after shopping the landing.
Great experience here yesterday! Great, friendly waitress. Awesome atmosphere. I had the chicken fingers carnival style with funnel cake fries...yummmm!!! Never had anything like it!! Love that this is located on a lake!
Awful New Years event. Staff was incredibly rude. Our whole group left within an hour of the DJ starting. Only played rap music. Although I appreciate rap in a mix of dance music, it should not be the exclusive choice by the DJ. Branson deserves better.
Good food, fun atmosphere. Being on the water is like icing on the cake. You should go here, have a few drinks, and laugh with your friends. Because, lets be honest, that is what it is all about. Smiles and good times with loved ones. Thank you paddle wheel for providing the venue for one of lifes most important things.
I have visited several times and every single time the food and service has been fantastic. I have been when it was slow and when there were events going on and the servers were fantastic. It is a bar, and a bar atmosphere so if your looking for a restaurant feel the outdoor setting and fire pits might not be for you but if you are looking to relax it is perfect.
Awesome fish tacos!! Order the 🐟 🌮!! Perfect lunch looking forward returning for dinner. The lake breeze, scenery, atmosphere definitely makes this one of the BEST spots on the landing. Our favorite local spot!
I love the food! i love the drinks! Rene the bartender is awesome! Staff is super nice! Been here twice and it is now a regular favorite to go and hang out by the water. The live music is good. Sometimes there is a dj. Its a cool spot! The owner Leanne os super sweet too! She made my sisters bday amazing! Love u, Paddlewheel!
Place has a a great view! Server was super nice, good looked good, but didnt have any. Just stopped by for a few drinks, and would highly recommend the view!
Awesome place, staff working short handed handling as fast as they could for being short handed. Sophie was exceptional as well as the other servers, a couple of t employees didnt show up so the others were doing awesome, my wife and I enjoyed just sitting outside enjoying the nice weather and enjoying our evening. Thank you again to the paddlewheel staff for being an awesome crew. You have new customers now and I will spread the word for this wonderful place and terrific staff
We had a beer there. They were very busy and under staffed. But it was still neat. They had a live band playing and over all it was pretty fun. Bring bug spray. The mosquitos were thick as the outdoor seating is on the lake.
Fun atmosphere, meet some good people who helped us enjoy the evening. Dancing was fun, food needs to be back to the full menu. Music is loud, but I enjoyed it.
Excellent food and drinks and the service was impeccable. Sean did an outstanding job as our waiter; drinks never gone dry, food was exactly as ordered. One of THE BEST waiters we have ever had!!! Highly recommend!
The wife and I stopped here on date night. Seems to be more where the locals go. There was a band and outdoor patio. We paid 6.25 for a blue moon beer in a talk tap glass. It was on the water so the atmosphere was pretty cool. Right near the landing.
Limited menu and inside bar space needs to be improved. Second floor should have access to bar , needs stools on windows. They reserve tables seemed to be for specially more that 2, as we were told a wait of 45 min...
Wings were excellent and more than 1 person can eat. Biggest wings Ive ever seen or had. A+++++++
As far as ambiance goes they get high scores nice fire pitts right on the lake indoor outdoor real nice as far as price to value goes the kitchen is struggling a bit I think a higher quality of the foods like tenders and fryer foods would go a long way of making the cost more worth it we went and two orders of tenders and a grill cheese which was excellent with two sodas and a beer were fifty dollars with tip. The place is cool but I think just the extra attention to food detail would make a world of difference otherwise its a nice place! But if you are a pool player they have two top of the line diamond tables with the best felt money can buy that was a real bonus!
First time visiting. We say outside loved the views. Took forever for our waiter to come take our order as they were pretty busy. He was hard to hear because he was very soft spoken and music was loud. He kept forgetting to bring items we asked for, it seemed like he had too many tables at once to attend to. I ordered the nachos and they looked great however there wasnt enough cheese etc on them. Only the top layer had toppings on it. The chips under the top layer were dry and werent great because there were no toppings. I had to borrow someones salsa to eat them.
It was hot outside and we had our choice of indoor seating. Great wait staff. Food was good. Drinks were excellent. Fun atmosphere!
We had an amazing lunch! Andrew L. Was a great server who could make easy conversation and took all orders 100%. Good job Andrew and team! Will definitely recommend and return!
We stopped in a couple of times. The bar was recommended to us by a friend. The drinks were reasonable. Live band one night, karaoke another night. We were stay at Lakeview campgrounds so the Paddlewheel was very close to Campgrounds.
Not exactly what we were expecting. Their burger was ok, not the best burger Ive had, but it wasnt too bad either. Also we went on a bit of cold night so that might have played a role in the 3 star experience.
My wife and I enjoyed ourselves very much. She received one of the coolest Bloody Mary drinks we have ever seen. And with it being right on the water have no worries, just pull a chair right up to the fire on the patio. Also we enjoyed live music with no cover charge. Do yourselves a favor and go to the Branson Landing and check out The Paddlewheel.
Just a shout out for a great friendly & continually smiling server Kari May! She really seems to enjoy her job.Side note for owner/mgmt. Could increase the size of restrooms. Most always during busy times a wait line.
Wanted to grab food and drinks after an 8pm show so we headed down since their website says theyre open until midnight. The food menu looked good as well as the drinks. We got there at 10:30 only to find out the kitchen closed at 9pm. NO where on the website does it says kitchen closes at any particular time. Website says closes at 12 AM. Please update website so other out of towners dont make the same mistake!
Loved it! There wasnt that many options for bars in Branson(especially compared to Dallas) so we read up as much as we could about places to go and somehow, this place never came up! We were down on the boardwalk and so happy that we ran across this place. We were only going to go out one night, but ended up coming back every night. The bartender Kevin and our server John were awesome! If we ever make it back to mini Las Vegas, I know where well stop for sure.
Lots of space. Eclectic music and great atmosphere. Room enough to have intimate group of friends or larger meet-up. Staff was amazing kind and very understanding. A++
I love The Paddlewheel! The inside and outside dining are spectacular, and the whole facility is super clean. Their Fish Tacos and Chicken Tenders are not to be missed. All of the staff is attentive and truly care about their guests, and the business. I will visit The Paddlewheel every time I am in Branson.
The bartenders Kevin and Adam are awesome. Ive had half the menu and its very good bar food. I love the nachos and hot wings. The quesadilla is the bomb and Taco Tuesday is a local secret.
Baked Mac & cheese with Brisket is AMAZINGLY delicious! Quesadillas are phenomenal too! Our server was amazing! We are in town for a truck show at the landing and we will DEFINITELY be back!!
The food is excellent but unfortunately the service is not. There are buttons on the table to let the waiters know that you are ready to order, need another drink, etc; but they apparently do not work. Its too bad because the food really is good.
Very cool spot with live music and right on the water. Chill and relax with your favorite beverage of choice!! Good date night spot.
While vacationing in Branson, my son and I went here for dinner in between throwing axes at Landing Axes. The atmosphere is awesome as you dine outside on a dock on the water. The food was fantastic (my son said the Mac n Cheese with bacon was awesome) and our waitress Emily was very attentive and had a great friendly personality. Definitely check this place out if you are in Branson.
17 of us looking for lunch....not allowed on the outside deck because of one little 4 pound dog!!Update: We went right next to you at the restaurant on the water called Fish House.....they had no problem seating us! We were also given the names of 4 other restaurants on the Landing that would allow our dog! No problem...we spent our $300 at that restaurant and the waitress (who was very friendly) got a $60 tip!!
Horrible service! The guy at the door checking IDS was extremely rude and having a bad day. We will NEVER go there again. We will gladly take our money elsewhere!
Had a great time, the service and food was great. We were very entertained By the music and the d j great place
Sat by the lake on a cool evening and could hear the live music in the other area. Food was good was but not great. Staff was great!
Our server Sean was absolutely fabulous. He was so knowledgeable regarding the menu and had a ton of personality. His efficiency was over the top!!! He was the one of the most caring individuals!!
This is a nice place, on the water and super easy to get to. The music was not what I liked the night I went but other people may like it fine. Would love to try it for a quiet evening and no band.
Expensive bar with a great location! First night, great server, very attentive. Second night, we waited over an hour, never got served. Walked out. Wouldnt go back. People the servers knew, got served, us tourist got ignored.
No food available at da time, but atmosphere was nice on da dock.n live band.member shirt was off. Music was cool especially w/ band leaders shirt off. He had to be Van Halens Son..Ijs
Really timely service and wonderful outdoor seating. Pina Calada was super full of ice chunks...made it unpleasant other than that great experience. Highly recommend the fish and chips.
Sat down at the bar and was ignored by 2 bartenders and 3 waiters. I was the only one at the bar and they werent busySaw the male bartender who has a long braid lick a spoon he used for a mixed drink and nearly put it back in the mixer to scoop the drink into a customers glass. He saw me watching and thought better of it.Decided to sit outside in the hope that the wait staff would take my order. No one bothered even though I asked a waiter if I would ve served before I went outsideGot up and left. Apparently a single woman cant get served...ironically it is ladies night at the Paddlewheel
We were there celebrating a bachelorette party and enjoyed the bar and patio. The band Banned performed and played a good mix of artists. Alcohol was flowing pretty well!
I cant say enough great things about The Paddlewheel. This restaurant/bar is a must visit when in Branson. I love the hospitality their staff shows to their guests. The food is excellent! Not just your ordinary bar food. Huge selection of drinks, and they have a different event almost every night. Wednesday is open mic, Thursday karaoke, Friday and Saturday usually a live band or dj. If you need a fun, safe, place in Branson to kick back and have some fun, this is the place for you!
Nice pub right on the river. Not sure if its authentic, but the place looks like an old steamboat. Plenty of seating outside to see the river views. The old fashioned that I had was well crafted.
Thanks for the great time last Friday St. Pats day. We had a blast and our waiter Dakota was outstanding!
Friendly staff, yummy food. Saw an amazing band there called WheelHouse Springfield. Overall amazing time.
Terrible experience. Food was good, but service was terrible. Had to ask for service as we saw 2 tables that got seated after us get taken care of first. Then the waitress we asked if we could get service proceeded to have an attitude. Was gonna stay and have drinks, but will go somewhere else.
If you are in Branson to see all the tourist attractions and you want to find one of the great local hangouts...THIS IS IT!!!The food is delicious, the beer is cold, and the service is fast and friendly. But...the atmosphere is what its all about. Local live bands keep the crowd entertained and engaged. Branson is full of talented artists and these local bands delight in calling them out of the audience to join in the set. This is THE PLACE in Branson for a night of adult fun.
Good to find fun nightlife in Branson. The nachos were great. Enjoyed a variety of adult beverages and the service was excellent. Great live music venue.
Beautiful place. Seems like lots of locals which I like. Staff wasnt very attentative. Had to ask for everything. Fish tacos were ok. Their site said taco Tue but havent honored for a yr. Werent very busy but was early.
Fun. If you want service you have to sit in Dakotas section. Otherwise get it yourself. Fun place. They need to clone Dakota owners are nice and try to stay on top of the rest of the wait staff...
Awesome venue, great staff, excellent drink and classic pub fare food selections, and the live music here on Wednesday nights alone, cant be beat! A must stop, if you are in the area!
Good tasting food. Cocktail were mixed right. Great views
This is a great place, sitting on the lake with awesome simple menu. Perfect little set up with live music a pool hall the outdoor deck with live music. The staff is great and very friendly awesome customer service.
Great food and great service!!The fries are perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy, the ranch is fantastic and the mac and cheese with chicken is SO good!!The simple things are important 😊
The outdoor space is very nice, with all the heaters they really go out of there way to make chilling night fun.
Went for Thursday Night karaoke and fun times were had by all. Had great drink service. Its a nice place to relax and have good conversations
This is a nice location. The staff were all nice and helpful. We came after kitchen closed so can’t comment on the food. Karaoke night was fun.
The view is beautiful and the live music was awesome. The drinks were fine but the food was pretty standard bar food and wasnt anything to get excited for.
Excellent Service. Great food. Will go back here again. A+++++++
Nice atmosphere, but it’s bar food. Make sure you make reservations if more than 9 in party.
Love this place! Great outside seating on the water with good food, live music, drinks and separate billiards room. If your just wanting to relax and enjoy an evening out this is it.
Amazing sitting area if its mid day Im sure you would have a great view, Server was energetic and served our dishes energetically., would recommend!
Love this place! Good food can be hard to find in Branson and they are never in short supply, try the caprsese chicken panini, I get no bread! Will is an amazing server and our drinks were all top notch!(:
This is one of our favorite places. We always come see Tiffany, Leanne, and the crew. Go see them! They will take great care of you and you will have amazing time!
Nice atmosphere. The paddlewheel bar area was yes really a part of a paddlewheel boat.drinks are reasonably priced. Food menu might have few more choices. Does not have NFL sports ticket. Makes it impossible to spending time here. As a lot of. Us are from out of state
Nice relaxing cruise up the river (board at the south end of the landing). Can buy tickets on site or on line. We went in the afternoon & had a sandwich, homemade chips & cookie for a late lunch. (Included in the cruise.)Captain Gus was a very informative guide & told lots of history about the river. (Pointed out eagle & nest & blue herons on the banks.)You can sit on the open air upper deck, or the air conditioned main deck. The boat was not actually powered by the paddlewheel, but by 2 Caterpillar engines.
My wife and I were in town for a weekend getaway, we are wondering how we missed this place over the years. The staff, food and atmosphere were awesome. This will for sire be one of our stops when we are in town.
Paddle wheel is above expectations, although a small menu, the food and service was great, sitting along the rail watching the river go by was swell. Had an app, and burgers the were great and service was good, staff concerned, but not rushed, was resonably priced. Went back next night and had fish tacos, and were pleasantly suprised to some of the best tacos Ihave eaten. If you want easy parking in downtown Branson, ood food dont miss it. Beer is reasonably price alos with a ggod selection of crafts.
Great music when they have a live band. When its busy, service is slow but thats understandable. Food was not the greatest, but it was eatable.
One of my favorite places! The staff feels like family, very welcoming
Hands down, best entertainment and drinks in Branson. This is coming from a long term guest of Branson that is not fond of the Branson Strip. The customer service is top shelf, as well.
Had to use one star, wouldnt let me go lower. Staff had 5 people waiting tables arund us, stayed 17 min like we were ghost among the other ten people in this place. We were never greated or given a menu.
Im a Branson Local and this town has a poor bar scene. With that being said, this is the best bar in town. The Bartenders are nice and know what theyre doing...and always serve a stiff drink.
Love it, I give it a🔟❗ Friendly & outgoing staff👩👦❗ Great food🍽️ with day delivery & awesome drinks 🍻🥂& 🆒 love the music🎸🎶🎙️🎼 from local singers/songwriters on the night life scene 🌃❗ dance floor to boogie on, pool tables, darts & more, I recommend everyone to try it out at least hear the great music✳️
They are the best place in town to have fun and enjoy a variety of local flavor and fun. Best music and karoke hands down!
The food was amazing! Service was a little slow but some of the best food I’ve had in Branson! Definitely will be back!
Ordered the chicken Cesar wrap. The wrap (tortilla) was old and falling apart. So the entire salad fell out onto the checkered wrapper... there was less than an ounce of chicken... atmosphere was great. Food less than par.
Awesome place and very good food and drinks. Staff is always great too. Sean was a fantastic waiter, doing a fantastic job with my rambunctious group.
Weve been to this place several times, even celebrated a birthday there. a couple Fridays ago My husband and I worked all day, had a beer with dinner at 6pm then got to the paddlewheel about 9pm - We were asked for our ID, we obliged, then the young kid (Looked like he may be about 18?) did a double take at my husbands ID, looked at him and asked if he had been drinking- (My husband still dressed in his work boots, company hat & neon colored company shirt) We then asked Why? we were told if we had been drinking we could not come in because Paddle Wheel didnt want to deal with already drunk people.... I said so, if we had a beer with dinner, at home, 3 hrs ago, we cannot come in to this establishment? He said yes, I asked if this was a Branson thing? a Landing thing? to which he instantly said I can get my manager I said I dont need your manager, I just want to know whos rule this is he then stated it is the Bars choice.I live here, and this is one place I will never set foot at again. Terrible business, everyone weve spoke to since (Other bar owners even) have expressed the ridiculousness of this-heaven forbid hard working, tax paying people, have a beer at home and because of that, are not allowed into this establishment to play pool and watch the end of a baseball game.
We had a very nice lunch cruise. We boarded from the Landing area in Branson MO. Our tour guide was very nice & patient with all the kids too. Hadva nice sandwich & homemade chips for lunch. I definetly recommend it!!
Food was decent, felt bad, waiter was overwhelmed by group of 25, the fireworks, could not see from seating area, which was the point, then the best part,it took hours to get put out of the parking lot, no police directing traffic,DO NOT GO on July 4th weekend, amateur hour in traffic, never again, for me, but traffic crowd surfers this would be a bucket list item to sit in parking lot for hours to get out!
It was OK. Live music was great but not professional. I did meet some lovely ladies and made plenty of friends here 💕😎
A great place to frequent year round. The staff is very personable, and they learn your face very quickly. A great venue for live music too.
Just about my favorite place to go in Branson! Good food, great prices, friendly staff, and the added bonus of eating on a bonefide Paddlwheel boat on Lake Taneycomo! Parking can be dicey when there is a big event on the landing, but otherwise its usually not an issue. Really great live music there too!
If youre looking for a great place to visit while in Branson Missouri you need to check out the Paddlewheel restaurant. Certain nights they have live music with the Ambiance of being on the lake while you eat is exceptional.
They changed the tacos and i was more than displeased waited 40 mins for soft tacos which they didnt say were soft and I hate. Didnt even eat it. The meat was dry and burnt as well.
Our waiter Andrew L. Was a great server, we never had an empty drink and he took time to converse with us when we bugged him...lol I definitely recommend anybody to come here and ask for Andrew!!!
