I walked in the store trying to quit smoking cigarettes and Q was the lucky guy who got to help me and answer my 100s of questions. He hooked me up with a mod and juice even showed me how to do things myself.(like a big boy)lol. Ive been back a few times to purchase other vape stuff and Q is always right there smiling and helping me out!! Thank you Q

Far and away the best vape shop in the area. Great selection of products, friendly staff, and welcoming environment. Ask for Q if you need help with any products, hell have you set up all kinds of good.

CIV is more expensive than other vape shops. Theyre usually nice and helpful, but a bit pricey.Very clean stores.

They know their stuff. Probably the best Shop in town. Great security and clean parking spaces.

Been here twice and both times staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! Great service! Bought the voopoo and after months of non use it is working fine! I like the golden light flavor too! Wish the facade was cleaner. And more welcoming. Almost looks like a vacant lot.

By far my favorite CIV location. This locations manager, Sam, and his team are great, personable and friendly. They always manage to find an answer to my multitude of questions. I never feel rushed when I go here. If there’s ever a great sale going on or any deals, Sam and his team let me know. They always have great recommendations!

I have been coming to Central Iowa Vapors for the last 10 years. This is the only company I trust. For the last 6-7 years I have been coming to the south side location. I enjoy going to this store, this is MY store. I trust everyone inside there to give me the right information, they treat you like family and always greet you with a smile!!!

This is my favorite place in Des Moines! I dont always need a Vape, but I do always need to see their smiling faces and impeccable sales floor. They take pride in their display and it shows! Sam and his crew are always pleasant and knowledgeable. Id recommend this team to anyone, theres never a time they dont come through with your desired product or a decent or better replacement! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMENDED.

Well I stop in here when Im in the area every few weeks and Im usually in a hurry. Today I was again today and I needed a new glass and they were all with someone so I took my glass and was trying everything I could do while waiting so get back on with my day. The worker was talking with someone and standing next to a couple juices I was interested in but I didnt want to interrupt them and couldnt read the flavors. So I asked if I could step back and read them trying to he polite because they were only a step away from being legible. I didnt expect to be refused so I started the step when the guy responded no. So I stepped back and asked if he was serious. He reassured me he was so displeased and a bit insulted. Whatever I guess Ill go somewhere next time. He suggested I take my business somewhere else right now. So I did! And Im recommending you do to.

We went in not knowing what to look for and Mickey made things really easy for us. He offered his thoughts and knew what he was talking about. He was also funny and engaging! Best experience! Will definitely be hitting this place and other locations in the future!! 5 stars!

Definitely the best shop of its kind to date. I travel for work and have seen both ends of the spectrum as far as staff and selection. Their selection is big enough to accommodate any taste or price range on liquids AND MODS but not overwhelming. I work in sales and am rarely impressed. Stop in and check them out. And if you are just starting out, or like to learn, talk to Brandon. I wish I could hire him.

Always enjoy the employees here, they never rush you and love great conversation. Oh yeah, they have the finest selection of juices too.

Love this place! Always makes me feel at home! Always catering to my needs. I love how they know my name and they know what I mean I know how to get me out in a decent timely manner. My dog loves to go up there and get dog treats as well, they are pet friendly. Water is available by the cup for any thirsty human or dog. If I could use any e-cig shop to go to this is where I would choose. Love their will of Fortune and do their Punch Cards. I was trying to save someone money.

As a recent first time customer to your store on 6/28/17 I would like to commend your two employees, Lisa and Owen, who were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient. As a St Louis resident, I was reluctant to make a purchase. Your two employees made my reluctance moot and I shall return with my next visit to Des Moines. Both were examples of the importance of customer service.

Clean, upbeat, friendly, willingness to help with no heavy sighs or umm..ahh..well..lets me see...this place deserves some love you all.

Prices are WAY too high. Coils cost almost double. Juice is almost 25% more. Ive been to maybe 15 vape shops, this one was by far the least impressive. Plus I really didnt like the guy at the counter. Tried to tell me a new tip would be $10 and didnt even offer me a punch card after I spent over $50 on juice and coils.

Always have an amazing experience here. I am new to the vaping scene and these individuals go above and beyond to make sure that I always leave with a product I enjoy! I definitely will be a long term customer. The selection of vape fluid and mods are unmatched. Plus the warranties on their products ensure that you are getting a quality product.

Always great experiences with the employees at any Central Iowa vapors location. This was my first time at the south side location. They were so helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend.

They have a moderate selection of mods and tanks. A lot of them are from last year. They have a large selection of juice, however they dont have a catalog or listing of the juices in the store (They do have it online, but their website has them categorized by brand and some of the pages dont work) also none of their prices are posted so if you dont know what youre looking for and how much it should cost... good luck. Staff isnt very helpful, just there to nod, say yes, and ring you up. My gf doesnt like grape flavored juice. She told the clerk. He said he didnt either and recommends a juice he personally uses... turns out that juice just happened to be super expensive and it turned out to be exactly what she didnt want. Quick and easy place to pick something up if you know exactly what you want, but not a good place to shop.

Great place! I came in just trying to quit smoking not knowing anything and left feeling like an expert! The guys are super knowledgable, and the ability to try the flavors is awesome. If you have no idea what youre doing( like me) go here!

I came in to replace my tank, the base was separating from the glass. The employee fixed it for free. He saved me $40. Not many places would do that. Thank you so much!!

Shopping from out of town. Manager that helped me was very helpful in locating juice and parts compatible for me. First time vape shopping in Des Moines and thats where Google Maps had pointed me for closest to my location. Just happened to be highly rated and for good reason. Price was alot lower then I was expecting on 4 bottles of juice and 3-pack of coils. Theyll be missed back where I live.

The people that work here are super awesome, they helped me go from no idea what Im doing to at least having a moderate idea of what Im doing. If you get a chance, ask for The Nicotine Man (or Mickey) he is the best by far!

Very pleasant experience the guys are very helpful. They help me build my first mod when I was new to the scene. They gave me tips and some advice on vaping and they also taught me quite a bit when I started out great selection of e liquid and rdas.

Been going to Central Iowa Vapors for a long time. They are by far the most professional and knowledgeable staff. Very patient. Also a good well thought out choices for the products they carry.

They dont necessarily have everything because theyre trying to please everyone. So their inventory is all over the place, they get rid of my popular stuff and cant get what Im asking for....

Got me in the the fat rabbit few months ago and haven’t been disappointed a bit, went in there looking for a different kind of juice, he had me try glazed by glas and next thing I know I’m walking out with a bottle and love it!

A side shout out to Mickey who helped me initially transition to sub ohm vaping but after burning through pre built coils so quickly, Brady introduced me to dripping. I have never been interested in building my own coils however Brady really took the time to show me the ins and outs of RDAs. Now I feel like I can truly enjoy my premium liquids without having to worry about constantly buying coils. Thank you again for having extremely knowledgeable and patient staff. Was a regular for years, and everyone there is great, but the liquid is ridiculously overpriced and theyre constantly out of everything. Cheaper and easier to just go elsewhere.

Brandon is very knowledgeable on all devices and juices. Hes very friendly and a great asset to Central Iowa Vapors.

They have a very limited section of vape juice. They also sold me a coil that burned. I fully primed my coil and filled my tank and left the coil inside my tank all night and it was burnt the next morning on my 1st hit. I went into the store sith the coil and my reciept and they told me there was nothing they could do about that. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE.

They have high end electric cigarette mods, and lower budget quit smoking vape machines that will last a long time, Ill rate my mods by numbers here. Also, their CIV vape juice is cheap and has shockingly great tastes.Hexohm 1.0 [5/5]Hexohm 3.0 [5/5]Provari 3rd generation PV3 [3/5] it is a fun pen, indestructible with the Kabuki tank, but not enough juice storage.Jay-Bo reuleaux RX mini, with super tank.I have been using the RX mini for everyday carry, and hex ohm for at home vaping and they all work amazingly.
