I just moved to the area and was looking for a shop and happened to find this one. I havent been back to Iowa in a few years, so I think this location may be somewhat new. I enjoyed my time looking around and shopping. The employee was very helpful in what I was looking for, and I will definitely be coming back.

I had SUCH a great experience here. Couple weeks ago I went in just to check out the shop. I wasn’t intending on buying much but the people working answered all of my questions well & really went above & beyond helping me. I felt comfortable in the store. They were very helpful, kind, & knowledgeable about every product I was interested in.The shop itself was clean, inviting, colorful, comfortable, & organized so I found everything easily.I ended up purchasing candles, sage, cone tips, & a beautiful glass piece that I’m in love with. It ended up being cheaper than I expected! You have great saleswomen & salesmen working here. Thanks for everything! I can’t wait to go back!

I like this place, but the price to quality ratio of some of their glass isnt great. Ive had a few pieces break within a couple weeks of purchase and that tells me that the glass is not strong enough for the stress.In contrast, I have two pieces from Klown Glass in MN that have last me over 10 years. I can drop them on cement and they dont break.12/2023 UPDATE:Forget it. Im done with this place,. The quality of their glass is terrible. Ive bought seven glass pieces from this place now and all seven have broken within a few months of purchasing and none of them through accident. All through heat stress and poor quality.

Great location - offers a lot of products. Has pretty much everything you would need - staff is always super helpful and educated. They answer questions and provide useful information or tips!

They have tons of awesome things, plus the guy working was super friendly, funny, and genuinely wanted to help and cared about what we needed. Highly recommend for anyone, and to the dude who helped us today, if you are reading this, thank you so much again man! You rock, keep on keeping on. We will be back!

I love going to SW. The store is really cool but the ppl are what make it better. I wish I had her name, but the girl in the front with red hair always has the biggest smile and is so willing to help. I will never not shop there.

I love, love, LOVE this store! The staff members are so helpful every time I’m in there! The selection is great and I usually find what I’m looking for. If there’s ever something I’m looking for and they don’t have it, the staff is great about pointing me in the right direction.

I love this store so much. The previous owners were my fav but the new owners have kept the vibe alive and have the same products. They now have kratom for about $25 for 3 ounces which is pretty damn cheap. Definitely a hippies dream inside this store. Check it out for all your decor and smoking/vaping needs.

Great place, good kratom and they are good honest employees. Made a purchase and forgot it on the counter, I came back a week later and they had it waiting for me in the back. Very rare these days but they are legit here. Only place in des moines as far as Im concerned

I must ammend my initial review. Have been going to this store /liberty gifts for about two years. Nothing short of amazing service and always were helpful on products I was unfamiliar with.Just a few days ago, I had a horrible experience with a gentleman at this location. All I can say is it has deteriorated my view of the company drastically. Whenever possible from now on I will be purchasing online. I know it is not the companys fault strictly but this gentleman has brought the company image down.

Fantastic. Easy no pressure purchases and the gentleman behind the counter on 9/29 was a true delight.

Always have what you need and staff is so friendly and helpful. However they follow you around like a thief. So it gets awkward

Love this store, they have an awesome selection of incense, candles and sprays, Nick nacks, black magic stuff, semi precious stones, jewelry, clothing, wearables, smoking utensils and gadgets, funny stuff, cool stuff, unique stuff etc and the staff is hella nice, informative and helpful. Theyre even nice to you when your jerk face friend that visited the store with you started trouble after you had already left and you had NO IDEA till you find out 8 months later that that friend also had called and tried to get a man fired at Christmas time. I was shocked to say the least and me and said friend arent said friends anymore. Sorry again dude, thanks for being 100% about it, I appreciate you for that ✌🏻

For the most part its been a decent quick stop for getting kratom though I prefer online as head shops are typically overpriced being $130+ for something I usually pay $100 for. This store doesnt always have the best vibe and has been hit or miss. One time I went in with my partner and the dude helping me at the register ended up turning to his coworker to tell her to watch her as my partner browsed board games. The problem with these places is you sometimes get judged if you dont fit the look or style of a typical customer. On the plus side they have a nice selection of everything from collectible figurines to board games that would cater to different interests, and they have an ok rewards program where you get a little back to use towards next purchase. I think I got 5 dollars in rewards after spending 160, which is meh but at least they offer it. The kratom selection is good with remarkable herbs being the cheapest. Green maeng da is a good starter strain for anyone looking to try, with an 8oz bag costing around $28. The big bags of the top shelf brand cost upwards $130. They also have extracts available in the case at the front. The kratom is behind the cashiers counter on the wall to your right as you walk in which is typical of their stores but makes it difficult to browse. The prices for it do not appear to be advertised which is somewhat annoying.

I love this location. Everyone is super friendly and very knowledgeable. The manger is great! She makes me feel like Im family when I come in. This is hands down my favorite location!!!

Rep was rude, interrupting me and talking to me like I was stupid while I was trying to ask questions about a product. Would ask one question, interrupt me two words into my answer, rinse, repeat. Probably wont be going back. If you like being treated with dignity, Id say go somewhere else. Unprofessional. Other rep was amazing.

Would not recommend coming here. Staff is very rude and unprofessional. Drove 2 hours to get here and was told they couldnt help me because I didnt speak in code. Wish they would have told me that on the phone so I didnt waste 4 hours of my day as well as half a tank of gas. Have had bad customer service here in the past as well, but nothing to this extreme.

Great selection of Kratom. They have two brands but many strains. Green, white, and red. The price was comparable to other brick and mortar shops which carry kratom. Customer service was great and knowledgeable. Would recommend to kratom users. I will return when in the area again.

Usually good with this store but .just bought a whole battery for 80 and wont even hold a charge after asking to see how it works and all just fantastic
