I’ve been coming here for years, and never felt a need to change that. They’ve become like family. Teri (the manager at the Merle Hay store) is amazing… always educating me on the new upgrades and new juice options. Such a sweetheart too… GREAT place to go for everything you need!!

This is the only CIV location I will go to. Teri is so knowledgeable on all of their products and really shows what its like to have great customer service. She always has a smile on her face and is happy to help every customer that walks in the door. There are so many different options in every aspect of their inventory, not just vapes!! You will be hard pressed to find another location that has the professionalism, inventory, and customer service that this location has to offer. I had an awesome experience shopping at central iowa vapors West on Merle Hay rd in Urbandale, IA. Teri was very knowledgeable about the products she has and answered all of my questions. I purchased the Vaporesso XROS PRO and love the vape. It has all sorts of new features. Thank you, Teri for all your help.

Do yourself a favor and go to the Merle Hay Rd location. The staff is awesome especially Teri. She is always all smiles and extremely helpful. For over a week youve been out of my pods at the east 14th store. I keep getting told on thursday then Fri now not in till next Wed. The whole freaking point in buying a vape from here is to save some cash buy new pods and have more options for flavor. Not have to keep buying new vapes. This store used to be wonderful. Now Im having to drive across town to another location. The 2 guys working were super nice even though another customer and I were both pissed and I probably wasnt being nice.

Stopped in tonight because I broke my tank called up to verify if they had the replacement glass. A very nice lady answered and said yes we do came up after work and said hey I am here to get replacement glass for my tank Tina j. was very helpful. Help me clean out the broken glass out of the seals and put the replacement glass in for me. Wonderful customer service. She did an outstanding job. Unfortunately. Did not have the coil I was looking for but she found one that would work for my needs Tina j. did an amazing job extremely knowledgeable and fun to chat with definitely put customer first kind of mentality very rare to come bydefinitely will be back to location

Been going here for so many years!! Friendly staff and Terri, the newest manager, is the best employee they have had!! Very knowledgeable about all the products. I was here a few weeks ago and honestly had no intention of buying any products. I had a YoCan product catch my eye & Teri helped me figure out the best option for what I already had; but also helped me trouble-shoot it when it became inactive (due to me having the coil on too tight). I love this location & appreciate Teri’s extra attention to details, especially small ones, like that - Thank you, again!!

Great place for your vape connoisseur, plenty of selection and helpful staff, and they actively ask questions to right size the product that they sell to you. Have never walked in feeling pressured to buy, and it feels more like a service than a store. Teri is ESPECIALLY good, lucky to have her there

Merle Hay CIV is the only shop I ever go, & have been since moving to Beaverdale 4 yrs ago. Staff is always friendly & helpful, they have a huge selection of products. Spoke with Teri, the manager of the Merle Hay CIV, she was super helpful and knowledgeable about the different products. I went in looking for shroom products, and she was able to assist me and help me pick the right product for what I was looking for. Theres many different delta 9/cbd/hemp/shrooms products, and she helped break it all down. Such a positive, pleasant experience. Will definitely be back!

Stopped by after a recommendation from my parents, who have been going for years, and was not disappointed. Tina was an amazing help in walking me through some juices and just carrying a conversation as Im relatively new to the experience. We also all agreed that the juice I had, Skwezed Watermelon Ice, is something that wed like to see carried in the future. She also got me hooked on 2 flavors. One she personally recomended, Frusion Clementine Citrus Mango and Juicehead Fruity Cream. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Its a clean place with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a decent selection of juice, as well as units, batteries, parts and mods. The prices are fair and they carry quite a few brands. If you arent sure if theyll have what you need, just give them a quick call. They can usually tell you right away if they carry it or if its available at another store in the area.

Bought this Vape.. it is lite and fits in your hands perfectly. It shows you the battery life and how many puffs you take. The settings are easy. I like the color of mine. It has a pink shine on it. It doesnt leak. Im so happy about that. It charges fast.

I have been going to CIV for many years. I have found that they are very knowledgable and responsive to all of my questions. Terri is always smiling and easy going.

I really just love it when I have to drive further and pay higher than a products msrp. I love it even more when I get home from the 30 minute drive to discover the overpriced box of coils I just bought, was already opened and missing one of the 5 coils the box is supposed to have. Very disappointed. Coils over priced. Juice over priced. Taking my business to Uncle Rukus henceforth.

Easily my favorite place to shop, employees all know their products, really engaging to customers who have questions. Shout out to Teri especially, shes recommended several products to me I would have normally just ignored.

If you come here, youll be best off knowing exactly what you need. My biggest issue is that they consistently (like 75% of the time) give us the wrong parts for our vapes, even if we have it in-store to show them. The employees here dont seem to be familiar with many products or have the ability/technology/training to search for compatible parts like atomizers or tanks. The only positives I have to say is that their rewards program is nice and we havent had issues getting things exchanged when they sell us the wrong items. I think their selection of juice is decent but I use 6mg. My husband uses 12mg and he doesnt seem to have much to choose from.

Came in to buy some vape products all to which they didn’t carry. Horrible selection. When I go to make my purchase he scans my ID and tells my I’m not old enough. I’m 22 years old. I show him my conceal carry permit and he tries telling me I can leave the store without my ID or he has to call the cops. He stalled taking forever to call and just wanting to argue so I called them instead. As I was giving the address to the police he gave back my ID card and said his machine messed up. Wasted time out of my day for that manager to try to pull a power move and try and take a grown mans ID. DO NOT SHOP IN THIS STORE. Manager is a complete joke.

I have been cigarette free for just over 2 months now, thanks to Central Iowa Vapor. I go to this store at least once a week and am always greeted with a smile. The staff are incredibly helpful and patient and have answered all my questions. They have also soaked one of my tanks in alcohol overnight, that I had accidentally burnt, changed atomizers for me, and showed me how to clean and care for my mod. I am never let down when I leave that store. Thank you guys for all you do!!!

Everybody is fantastic there! They know what I want before I open my mouth. They help you with any problem you might be having. And if you think something needs to be changed or whatever they will let you know if you do or not instead of yeah you should spend that money and get it. And that’s why I have gone to them for about 10 years now!!

Great place to get started on quitting that nasty smoking habit! The staff is extra friendly and will get you set up with everything you need and do their best to answer any and all questions you might have. Great selection of e-liquids and great prices as well! Great place to buy vaoe stuff if you want a stuck up set of certain managers theyre customer service skills suck and honestly the way they lead people on with certain things honestly not the best bunch of crayons in the box they choose for employees please steer clear of crooked shady people that work for this company one of my family members worked for them and to be honest people would be better off going to so many other vape stores this place has gone down hill fast and id be glad to see them shut down.

Dont believe them when they say they will keep a particular model and supplies for it. Dont follow the recommended things. Just go to route 65 they are knowledgeable and trustworthy

The slowest service of any CIV locations. They will have 5-10 people waiting in line while they spend 15 minutes explaining every different aspect of each vape. They even made everyone wait while they assembled and filled a new vape for that customer. Hey CIV, theres this thing called multitasking, its quite helpful.

Y’all earned a new customer! I was a smoker for 21 years and recently switched from Marlboros to a My Blue vaper with the liquipods. I recently moved back to Iowa and read through the reviews for this location. I decided to stop in on my way to the office and I’m glad I did. I had never been to a vape store and had no idea what to expect. Dax greated me immediately while he finished with another customer. He then proceeded with questions to determine what the best fit would be for me. He didn’t try to undersell or oversell me, I feel like he found the perfect fit for my needs. He took the time to explain how everything works and made sure my new Endura T22 was working properly before I left. He also made sure that I was satisfied with my purchase and happy with the flavor liquid he helped me pick out. I’ve been in sales for a long time and we are always taught to be a consultant and not a sales person, which is easier said than done. Dax did exactly that, not once did I feel like he was trying to sell me something. Obviously I can’t compare my experience to an experience with any of the other CIV locations or a competitor but based on my interaction today, I don’t see any reason to go anywhere else. Friendly staff and good selection of juice. I wish there was a print out of their stock to peruse, but thats my only issue which isnt a big deal. Merle Hay and the south side shops are my go to stops when I need anything vape related.

Military discount (possibly a student discount too?). They can help you with suggestions for new juices to try and will let you sample it. Theyll also replace and clean the coil/glass and have a punch card system for extra discounts. Variety of product and all the people that work there are cool.

I went in there not knowing what I needed and I feel bad because I forget her name but she was the only female working that shift and she was extremely helpful and nice. She helped me find everything I needed and I left very satisfied.

I had an issue with my rx300 that I purchased a few months ago. My store Warranty was expired so I called the store to try to obtain a copy of my receipt. The gentleman that answered the phone provided me with quick instructions on how to contact their corporate office for such issues. I was greeted by Monica from their corporate offices. It took some time to track down my receipt but I am so grateful for Monicas patience and understanding. She managed to help me find my receipt so I can finally provide enough information for Wismec for my warranty. This store has always provided A+ customer service. Thank you!!!!

So in Florida I bought a vandy vape jackaroo which is similar but in my area of Iowa they for some reason dont carry them, so I bought an aegis hero and boost. What a joke, the jackaroo last 2 full days and both aegis are lucky to last 4 hours. Small tanks, poor battery life and the coils dont last. Idk who reviews these products but its a lie.

Best prices for all vaping needs. The exact brand and type of juice i use here was 1/2 the price from a different shop less then 5 miles away. Great helpful staff as well

Love CIV! Ive been going there for the past 6 years, way b4 most people even knew about vaping, etc. .. Excellent customer service!!! However - you can find similar products online for a cheaper price! So dont think you have to buy a Mod/tank from there ~ you can get the exact same brands online.

I bought a device, tried it and it was very air restrictive. I asked to return it and have it swapped for a different one of equal value and was told that it was a big selling point of the product and that I dont make enough money to buy things whenever someones unhappy. Its not a marketed feature of the product, its either defective or poorly designed. Wont be coming back.

Excellent service, superb knowledge of all products, it cant be easy trying to memorize all the juice flavors but the staff does a great job of knowing the products. If there was a 24hr location around town or some CIV vending machines like a red box would be most definitely legit, or even a small selection of best selling juice stocked at kum & go would work. I have a hard time getting there with the hours I work b4 opened and often get off after store closing. Best location for all the vape needs, now to kick the habit of vapen........ Always said kicked one habit to start another.Update. Had to change my review. They have changed their house blend a few times and Ive had to find alternatives to what I was used too. Nice staff, but owners need to stop carrying juices they are going to get rid of. Started going to Atomic Cloud Vapor, they have a good selection and have kept the same tobacco flavored juice from the time they opened.

Very Very pleased with the employees that are working in these shops. I have an iStick Pico, and a iJoy Limitless XL tank. I called to the store and got ahold of (Jax or Dax). Idk which. I explained to him my situation but I needed an adapter to make my tank and mod work with each other. Every store was out in central Iowa and this store was my LAST call. He gave me a number to a warehouse store where extra stock had been kept. I got ahold of a gentleman at the warehouse from the number Dax had given me. Between Dax and the other employee from the warehouse, they made it possible for me to get what I needed. The product needed was only $5. Neither of them had to go the distance they had for something so micro. I really appreciate your stores professionalism and willingness to help. Wouldnt think twice about going to any other store in Central Iowa.

This is the only place in town that I will shop at for my vaping needs (well, and their other locations as well). Central Iowa Vapors in all locations I believe (I have been to this one and the one on 14th) has reasonable prices, a huge selection of juices, and very knowledgeable staff! Almost everybody that you will run into here (employees and customers alike) are super friendly! They also have a punch card to earn a free $10 store credit every now and then, depending on how much you spend of course. Its FREE money though!!! Cant beat free money AND kicking a nasty cigarette habit! :-)

I have visited this location many times over the past 3 years. Always super friendly and helpful when buying anything unless you purchase something and it doesnt work. Bought my last ecig here because I lost my last one I purchased. I was told at time of purchase it has a one month warranty. First week had issues where the ecig was fully charged but would not turn on or produce any vape. Brought back to store and said they had to hold on to it for 24 hours. Came back and said nothing was wrong so I took the ecig with me. Next day the same problem is happening and brought the non working ecig back. I tried turning it off and on multiple times and was fully charged. Went in the back and came back to tell me I just didnt have it on and nothing is wrong with it. Now I have been smoking the same brand of ecig for 3 years and obviously know how it works and would know to turn it on. They would not replace it even though it was the first month warranty. Way to make your customers feel stupid when there is obviously a problem with the device. Its not a hobby of mine to just go into the store and complain if there is nothing wrong with the ecig. Literally walked out the threw the ecig in the parking lot because it didnt work and was not about to buy another one from this location. The whole situation made me so bad I went and bought a pack of cigarettes. Maybe next time help your customers when they have a problem versus making them feel stupid. I have spent enough money there and will now buy my ecig supplies from another store in town.

Purchased a vape last night and accidentally burnt out the coil. I tried to change it to the extra one it came with and it didnt fit so I had go all the way to another vape shop to BUY ANOTHER ONE because they were closed and they told me the extra one that came with it was the wrong size and that they should have checked it before selling it to me... So today I went back and Im telling them like hey you guys gave me the wrong size coil and I wanted to trade it in for the right size and the lady said she couldnt do anything about it because there was no proof and that I couldnt return it because there was nothing really wrong with it... I feel that if I wanted my money back for a mistake they made I should get it back but its ok karma is a B.

Husband and I stopped here a couple of weeks ago for more information since we have been thinking about switching to vape. Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. We are going back today for our purchase because of the service we received
