New Body Spa--Durham Massage

Me and the wife was able to make a same day appointment as we were traveling and stopping in Durham. The GPS took us to the back side of the building, but my wife called and they gave us the directions to get to them. We had a couples deep tissue massage and my wife said it was the best one she had ever had. And even contemplated signing up for a membership, even though we stay 2.5 hours away. Also, you may want to bring cash, you have to pay an extra fee to use your card.

We were looking for a place that could accommodate 3 people on short notice for massage and found New Body Spa. So glad we did! The massage services include typical options such as Swedish, Deep Tissue with add-ons such as hot stones, reflexology, feet, medical/focused. The rates are very affordable. My therapist was excellent - very professional, skilled and intuitive. The facility is clean and updated - simple, not a fancy spa with a big retail area. We will definitely be coming back to New Body Spa!

Hubby and I came in for my birthday. We made an appointment ahead of time and online. It was an amazing experience! The masseuse always kept asking us if were comfortable. We signed up for a deep tissue massage and hot stones. We will definitely return!

I got a message today by Annie. The studio was clean and welcoming. I had a fanatic massage and facial. When I got ready to leave she asked if I wanted to leave a tip, of course I had planned on doing this anyways…she looked at me after I typed in what I was comfortable with tipping and she said “not enough.” She pulled out a sheet with “suggested tips” and told me the minimum tip for my service was at least $15 more than I had tipped. She proceeded to delete my amount and have me retype. I have no problem tipping for good service, but it’s disrespectful to be eager to tip someone and they tell you it’s not enough. It ruined the entire experience.

Same day appt, we got straight to my 1 hour deep tissue massage and it was amazing! Lucy has powerful hands🙌🤜 will be back

After many years of putting up with back pain I finally decided to try a massage. I am glad I did! I was hesitant about going to a place that ropes you into packages or memberships. The business is extremely friendly, clean and the cure for what bothers you. Great place!

No gimmicks, no psuedo medical waivers or product sales pitches eating into your session time. Same day appointment. Walk in, get undressed and get a massage. The Swedish massage with Mark Li was excellent. Very reasonably priced. North Durham’s best kept secret, I’ll be back.

My medical massage from Mike a few days ago was a great experience. He was very conscientious of the pressure he used and checked in with me a lot on my comfort level. He used a medical cream that warmed my back after the massage driving home. The next day my back and shoulders felt much more free and supple and I have more range of motion. Mike was very professional and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend.

My deep tissue massage with cupping with Mark was excellent. Massage room was clean. Definitely recommend this place for an excellent, no nonsense massage. Easy online booking is a plus.

This place is dynamic! I have been in tremendous pain for years and extra pain since the middle of June of this year. I hurt everyday anyway because I have RA and Fibromyalgia. I have some conditions/arthritis from a car accident I was involved in decades ago and I hurt every single day but my pain had intensified since mid June. A suggestion was made for me to go to a massage therapist. I did a search and found this location. I was skeptical because the prices were more reasonable than the other places I had searched in the Triad. You normally get what you pay for. I called the location and the owner answered the phone, and he gave me the full spill of how his facility and massage plans work and he was so pleasant and professional. I am so glad I chose this facility, I am so pleased with my results and my therapist, Annie, was awesome! Initially, I was in so much pain that I was skeptical about anyone giving me any type of a massage. Regardless of what type of massage you choose, Annie meets you where you are at pain wise to ensure that you get the proper massage. I have been in so much pain for years and yesterday her massage made me feel better than I have felt in years. This company is awesome and very professional. The prices are very reasonable in comparison to other facilities. Annie is the best and I felt so much better after her massage and I had a great night’s sleep for the first time in awhile. The massages will be a necessity for me to have some quality of life. Hats off to this facility!

First visit and I felt like I got my moneys worth. I made an 1.5 hour appointment for a swedish massage. And I believe we used to the entire time. The private room is very comfortable. If you plan to go even just once a month the membership is probably worth it.

Masseuse stopped mid massage several times to attend to phone calls and ended my hour massage way before the hour. My body felt no different after the massage, waste of money.

Great deep tissue massage. Very clean no wait facility. Therapist used multiple techniques. A gem of a find in north Durham.

I have gone to many different massage therapist the past 10 years. I recently found Mark and I have to say he really gets my neck and shoulder muscles like no one ever has!! Which need it the most because until recently I was a hairstylist for the past 28yrs. I have been here 5 times and will continue . Im so glad they are doing a membership now too.

The appointment was very easy to make(online). My therapist listened my request, I had lower back pain about 7 from 10, Mark gives me medical massage. My pain reduces to 2-3 and I feel my lower back is more flexible. He also give me some recommendations about how to protect my lower back, definitely come back to him again! Strong recommend!

Mark was fantastic! I was having pain in my upper back and he gave that area extra attention during the massage. Although the pain didnt immediately vanish, two days later my back felt much better! The massage definitely did the trick. Mark is very knowledgeable and gave me some advice for how to help the back pain.New Body Spa is clean and comfortable. I hope to come back with my husband for a couples massage in the future!

I had a wonderful deep tissue massage with Annie. She took the time to work on specific areas and make sure the right amount of pressure was being applied. Friendly customer service and affordable prices - Id definitely recommend.

I am here to sing Jessi’s praises…I honestly contemplated not writing a review so that I could keep this gem of a place to myself but the experience was too good not to share. Simply put, Jessi is an artist. She gave me the most thorough and exceptional massage of my life. It’s three days later and I am still vibrating on a different frequency. Her deep tissue massage realigned my chakras, opened my third eye and leveled me up to a new calm. I can’t wait to return. If everything works out as I intend, this will become a bi-weekly thing for me. But either way, she’s got a new fan for life.

I was late for my appointment, but the therapist give me full session time and it’s very helpful to my tight shoulders and neck! I definitely recommend New body spa to my friends and families:)
