@G C (Exov) Previous Comment - I understand your concern with the happenings of unfortunate recent events, but I feel the need to state some facts on this comment. I, too, am part of the LGBTQ community. My husband is a bartender at Pink, and I am a regular patron. I am the one you saw transferring a gun from one car to the next. A friend of mine returned to me a .22 caliber rifle, which is far from an assault rifle, and I was placing it into my husband’s car to carry back home. Pink is a great a place with wonderful people, and I have never felt safer in a club. They are a small business and can only do so much when it comes to security. The employees take on their assigned roles, including acting as bouncers. I can’t speak for the person open carrying, but it is legal in Louisiana. This is only my opinion, but I feel safer having a member of the LGBTQ community or an ally carrying in case some unfortunate event was to occur, but I can also see the opposite for those not educated in gun safety with the stigma surrounding firearms these days. I am very sorry about how this situation was portrayed and agree that I could have been more discrete with the transfer. I hope that this clears some concerns, and you give Pink another chance. It really is a haven for the LGBTQ community in our area.
Extremely great atmosphere staff is amazing...no cliques everyone loves everyone! I always have a great time at this place. Drag shows every Friday night! Sickening entertainment. The owner is always present on site and there if ever there is an issue to handle. The cops do not come to this place it is very safe and anyone is always welcome! Karaoke on thursdays and its the best karaoke Ive ever been to!!
I was told I would be let in as long as accompanied by a 21 year old as I’m 19 (During COVID restrictions). The OWNER himself told me this. The main manager also knows of this but I was still refused entry. If you wanted to be a good business you should have refused me at the door on Friday, April 30th, 2021. I have photo and video evidence that is time stamped thanks to Snapchat. I will hate to have to take this to a higher level.
Inconsiderate! A friend had a couple drinks and was vomiting in the trash can and was LITERALLY KICKED OUT from the place! We all know that decent clubs make sure that their clients arrive home safely or at least have an ambulance called if needed to. Honey, IF YOU CANT HANDLE A LICENSE TO SELL ACOHOL, drop it!
