Massage & Spa at Southpoint Mall

This place is a hidden gem! My cousin and I got massages in a private room and the two gentlemen who did our massages were professional and did an amazing job! We will have to make a monthly trip to get these massages again, the massages are not expensive and definitely relaxed us!

I just freshly stepped out of an hour long massage gifted to me on Mothers day. This was done by Nini (or thats what she said her name was)The person had very little care for tolerance level to pressure. She kept saying “too tight” and kept bruising if she had to. With most chinese massage places they forget to understand English when they dont want to yet they have a sizeable business in a big mall!!HilariousIf I am forced to be here next time I will hold her hand before being bruised.I gave a $5 tip on the $90 massage and she was like “five only” very mockingly.The reason I am giving 3 stars is that I would walk in without an appointment and that the hot stone treatment at the end was good

Absolutely amazing! They immediately found where my problem areas were and both my husband and I walked out pain free. Because we’re not able to get massage consistently, our aches and pains tend to become serious issues. They were so good, I took my father there. He is local and has limited mobility. He was highly impressed and has vowed to continue to return. Thank you guys!!

I’m pretty picky about my massages but I like this place a lot for relaxation massages. I usually go to medical massage places for specific tension/pain issues (like tight psoas or trapezius), but for relaxation massages this place is great. I always get the hot stone massage.The masseuses are responsive to requests to ho harder or softer, they are through and you can request special areas of focus like face, upper back, feet, etc. I almost always leave feeling relaxed and blissed out. Plus, they do walk ins, which is super convenient!Only cons: You can hear the people in the other rooms through the room dividers and open ceilings, but that doesn’t bother me. It’s just a little cold because it’s not completely climate controlled.That said, I still go once or twice a month

This place was awful. Please do not go here. I think the reviews of this place are fake. The massage was okay, nothing special. I would have loved a firmer massage. The facial was terrible. My face looked dull after. I am pretty sure she used aveeno for my face. Also, she kept doing the same thing over and over again. She kept putting this cream on my face then wiping it off then putting it on again. She did that the whole time. I don’t think they get a lot of customers. I’m so upset I spent so much money for this. It was the worst spa experience ever. Please save your money and don’t go here.

Look, having been to ALL spectrums of massages, this is your very typical asian massage that IS typically much firmer and involves almost chiropractic manipulations and pressure points. If you are looking for a good deep tissue or sports massage, this is it. Otherwise, you will hate it. Also, they are not fancy with their surroundings or linens. BUT they are also not super expensive. We get the couples massages and for what its worth, it always leaves us feeling like we actually got our moneys worth instead of just being petted with lotion like other places. I always say this : speak up about what you want. If you dont- they cant mind read and you will be disappointed in the wrong pressure or technique. As for cupping, just say No thanks and they leave you alone. No one has ever been pushy, they offer and you can decline. Also, if you want an actual facial instead of facial massage, go to an actual aesthetician. This is a massage place, they will just massage your face for 30 minutes, which in itself could be nice. But have healthy and realistic expectations of what you are actually getting from a mall massage spa

I did the 45 min massage, it was okay but a little too rough for me.I also tried the 30 min facial and did not like it. It was more of a facial massage than an actual cleansing facial, the esthetician didnt ask questions about my skin, she just rubbed my face for 30 mins. Very awkward. I left a small tip because they seem to be trying but it just didnt seem right for me.

My impression of a spa is a place of tranquility and relaxation. The south point spa is particularly noisy. When a guest comes in, an employee runs out of the massage room to receive the guest, and then asks each staff member loudly for their time, so I am surprised by the atmosphere of this spa.😤

Great massage, but theyre a bit pushy to get you to spend more money on the table (vs chair), extra time, supplements, and add-ons like cupping. Also had a lot of conversations while massaging which made it hard to meditate and relax.Ill probably try a different place next time.

Made a last minute appointment and they got me in right away. My therapist was amazing. I felt like I was floating after. Would recommend and will definitely be back!

Worst place ever!! I have been there twice the first time I thought that maybe I just got a bad person and then the second time was the same experience. It’s convenient because it’s in the mall but it is a total waste of money.

This was terrible. They disturbed me mid massage to ask about cupping. Couldn’t escape fast enough. Our backs are black and blue.

They set me at ease right away and the massage was excellent. I was even falling asleep.

Had a lot of back pain from work, came here after reading reviews and had a great experience! The staff here are very professional. Highly recommend!
