I toke three stars away after going there a couple of times I kept having problems with my nails the nail polish was chipping off my nails 3 to 4 days after I got it done which I thought was ridiculous but guessing since the man was rushing since he kept having walk-ins come in, he wanted to get everybody sometimes it’s not all about the money it’s the quality and I want good quality for the money I spend. The next time I went in there was for my gender reveal. I want my colors on my nails and my feet to look amazing for the pictures. My appointment was at nine and supposedly there was traffic on the road and since nobody lives in Burlington, they all live in a different city I was not seen until about 10-10:30. Which definitely threw my day off because the woman she gave me took forever. It was like she was a newbie, so I was there for three hours. I did not leave until 12 o’clock, which was very not convenient since I was busy that day, so less to say I will not be going there no more.

I’m so glad I found Spa Nails , I can get everything done in one place . I’m from Cali & had my forever nail tech out there so I was a bit nervous to try anyone out here .Service is amazing . I got my nails done by B the first time , shape and design was gorgeous. Today I got my lash extensions done by her sister Lisa . As well as my nails filled , design , eyebrows and lip waxed . She did not disappoint. They are busy on the weekends and only do walk ins sat & Sunday . So if you plan on going , please be patient . They are honestly the hardest workers & are working back to back with clients , sometimes not even getting time to take a break . You will not regret the wait , trust me ! So show them love & make sure you leave a good tip !

When i first started going to Sting over 5 years ago, I used to get acrylic nails, because of the expertise of Sting, my nails are strong and natural and now i get an over lay

I went in for a gel fullset and rhinestone design and was very disappointed. The design was ugly, nails was bulky, crooked, and already looked like I needed a fill in. Lilly did not do a good job.

My nails look like I painted them myself. They literally would not dry and my nail tech kept coming and fixing them. This is the only reason I gave 2 stars. The salon looked dirty and had dust everywhere. It needs a deep clean. You can literally see where they only sweep/mop in certain spots. They do not use the liners for the pediucre. Also my nail tech took out nail clippers and other nail instruments from a sterilized pouch that appeared to be used multiple times so definitely not sterilized. Just not happy at all with my experience.

They are highly professional! It was a friendly and calm environment! My nails look great!!!

They were busy. My husband and I treated ourselves for our anniversary. I was in the chair my foot water overflows they took a laundry basket of towels dumped it to clean. I asked for gel nails they gave me gel nail polish. Couldnt find colors to match my toes and nails together. Suicide awareness colors I wanted for both. The nail polish came off in 4 days of being applied. Charged me full price for us both. Yes we tipped Im a waitress. The only reason we stayed is because the staff was personable and funny. We wont go back and now I have to pedicure my husbands feet again......

Been going here for about 10years, there going to hate me for rating individual techs but the best nail tech there is (BE…) second is her husband (sting…. Third is big Lisa….It’s always hard to find a nail salon that does really good nails but this place has multiple good nail techs. I’m A perfectionist when it comes to my nails, I am so picky because I want them to be perfect and they always are

Asked and had to pay for a coffin shape mail but they were not coffin at all. Nails wasn’t good so I didn’t tip. Like always acrylic was thick an I kept having to ask for my nails to be fixed.after the 3time I just gave up. Their not even the same shape.

Sting is absolutely amazing...Im very cautious about where I go after I had a horrible infection after a regular fill in acrilic at another location....Great price and I love how I trust sting enough and he chooses my nail designs now always feel comfortable and unrushed and most importantly they speak mostly English in the salon they have a customer for life!!!😀😀😀

Been going to Spa Nails to see Chen on and off for a few years and have never been disappointed! They are always so nice there and try to make sure all the guests happy! People just need to keep in mind that if you walk in especially when its busy and people are going ahead of you that they most likely have an appointment with a specific person.

Went and got my eye lashes done and my eyes were all red and my eyes were hurting went back and told them same day they said they couldn’t take them off because her momma wasn’t there to do it and she couldn’t do it so they told me to go buy some from the beauty supply store .

I always go to Chen Chen, Sting or Lil Lisa for my nails and Johnny or Veena for my feet. They are all really kind and very skilled with affordable prices. Bring in a pic or an idea and they provide exactly what you are looking for.

I found this place by mistake and I Lovvvve it. Very friendly and super quick, I walked in and was in a chair in less than five minutes. Vena is my new nail girl!!!!

DO NOT GO THERE!!!! I went, paid $40 for lashes put on my Lisa the “owner”… lashes looked horrible! Ends came up the same day, glue caked on-took some lashes off. I went back for a full set $50.. LISA charged me $30 more. Said that I had to pay $20 for OLD lashes. Nails where mediocre! Prior, LISA told me we would be even BUT charged me anyway! Please look at other low reviews, I should have! Karma!!!

I was a regular up until today. I came and it was busy so was told to come back. Came baCk and waited 45 more min and had people being taken that were after me. when I asked what was goin on I got they were staffed today. Understandable , but not enough to take people who were not there. I was told.i would he next as I watched them take 2 more people. Im super upset especially since I had my child in tow.

I’ve been at least 5 times now and I get the SNS set every time but do not go to the same person. I’m still figuring who I want to do them. Sometimes it’s a hit, sometimes a miss and the price is different +/- $5 depending on the person but my experiences are getting better now that I’m able to take the things I like from each person and know what to ask for the next time I go. Although you may think this review does not warrant the 4 stars I will say the reason I keep coming back is because my nails are now in the best shape ever compared to the other ‘better’ salons I’ve been to in Durham over the years.

I like this place. Ive been 3 times and each time has been great. They do a good job and theyre friendly. Love the cucumber pedicure and the lavender pedicure. The chairs are comfortable enough with different vibration and massage settings. The workers talk with you and are friendly. My gel manicure lasted a good bit and the girl was so patient explaining all the different types of polishes. No complaints and will be back.

Where do I start… I’ve been literally following this group of nail techs forever! Supported them in Greensboro and when they moved to Durham, so did I. I’ve trusted them with my nails, eyebrows, eyelashes, everything. They are all so friendly and welcoming. I enjoy everyone there, but definitely ask for Hbe or Chinh.

Sting is the absolute best!!! Professional work done in a timely fashion. A few years ago the shop I frequented made an appointment for me the day before Easter, when I went, they were closed. So I drove around and found Spa Nails and I’ve been a customer every since. Great atmosphere

LAST time coming here….I should read the review before going their. I went to have filling done the person who did my filling was owner daughter was one of my worse job done I had my cuticle nip and burn by the electric smoother machine the fill was so thick If I did my self I think I will do a better job.the nail polish she put on still was show my old nail polish I had on before it was a terrible job and bad experience I will not go back or recommend any body

This is the best place Ive been to in Durham. Took my wife and 3 daughters once and they just keep going back. I typically get a seat within the first 5 minutes upon arriving, cause I just get the basic mani-pedi. Love the massage chair, and the atmosphere is friendly. This has been my trusted nail salon for over 5 years. The staff is very friendly and do great work! I am always pleased with the outcome of my nails and have recommeded this salon to many of my friends and family, and they have also started to attend. They are fast, accommodating, affordable and always produce great results! I often get compliments on my nails and have many people asking where I go to get them done. You will definitely be pleased if you visit. I will continue to come here for as long as they are around!

I love going to spa nails. The employees there are very friendly. When I first started going there, I would go to anybody and they would do a good job. Now I get my nails done by Chin and she does an awesome job. I love the way she does my nails. Not only does she do a great job on my nails, she does great on my toes and eyebrows too. She will make sure your nails are the way that you want them. I really appreciate her being my nail tech.

I have been going here for my manicure and pedicure. They have wonderful service and are very friendly. I go every 3 - 4 weeks and I leave happy each time. Sting does a fantastic job every time. He does my nails all the time. When hes not available, his wife do them and Im happy with the results. If you ever need a good manicure and pedicure, I strongly recommend this place.

Spa nails has the friendliness employees. You are greeted upon entering the establishment. Your needs are met in a timely manner. I have probably seen everyone there, but my favorite nail tech is Chin. She is very professional and funny. Chin has a spunky personality. I love having her do my nails, toes, and brows.

Loved this place. It will be my go to salon whenever Im in Durham. I was in and out quickly. Good service, extremely friendly. Good vibe. Looks busy but there are lots of technicians available.

I called early in the morning to set an appointment for my eye lashes. I was told they only doing walk ins. I get there and they tell me sit. They let 2 people ahead of me. I stayed patient. Then when its time to get in the chair both lash tech start speaking in their foreign language. Pretty much going back and forth about not wanting to do my lashes. After waiting an entire hour and a half. A complete waste of my time. Do not spend your money here!!!!

This place is alright. It is busy and they offer a lot of services. But it does not look that clean and seems like the techs just rush through the clients without worrying too much about the quality.I understand that when you work for tips quantity is better but that should not be an excuse to work through a lot of customers with a poor attention to detail.

My FIRST and prolly LAST time coming here...after reading thy reviews i decided to give them a chance since i recently moved on this side of town. Came in they did my toes first and i love them after a little wait a young lady came and started doing my nails..she put them on real FAST with little to no acrylic or glue and started shaping and what not...overall i just feel like she MISSED a few steps bc afterwards my nails looked like they were press on nails...the tips are thicker than normal idk they just seemed OFF and a few days to a week later...they start LIFTING and my 2 pointer fingers CAME OFF on BOTH hands like its only been a WEEK and already im missing 2 nails...just by drying my hands after washing them...smh...ugh guess i will be going back to the Southpoint area...

The customer service could be improved. I went in to get a full set and pedicure. This is not the first time my water has gone cold waiting on someone to start my service. When I got ready to leave thats when they wanted to say someone is coming. I did not see them clean the pedicure stations after clients left which is unsanitary. I showed a lady a picture of how I wanted my nails only pink with gems she said I cant do that in a rude manner. I said ok well can u do the full set and someone else do the design she said I mean if theyre available if not then u just cant get it. I got up to leave and just pay for my pedicure. At that time the manager asks no full set and I said no she doesnt know how to do what I want and left. Its a shame bc I used to enjoy going there but their lack of customer service skills and the young people working there have no sense of care in the world they dont care about customers coming back to me it seems they are just rushing to get you in and out to take your money. I will not be spending anymore of my coins with them.

Spa Nail Salon is conveniently located on Duke St. I used to bounce around from nail place to nail place, just not happy. Now Spa Nails is my one and only. I have been going here for years and tell all my friends, its the best nail salon in Durham. They give you a pampered feeling, male or female. Its a beautiful thing, to be treated as a person and have a decent conversation,with the friendly staff and owners. If anyone wants that welcome, wanted and important experience, make sure you stop by, you wont be sorry!

I went to this place because I just moved to Durham from Mebane and I wanted to try a closer place. Not only was this place extremely dirty, I did SNS Nails and within one week they had all either chipped, broken, or turned yellow. I also decided to get my eyebrows waxed and ended up going to urgent care because they burnt my face. I would highly not recommend this place.

I was new to the area and went to them about 2 months straight for lashes and main/pedi I now have a fungal infection and i want be returning not very clean space but they are really nice people but my feet are now being treated for infection

Went to get a pedicure and the owner started removing the polish off my toes. I asked if another girl that I like who did my pedicure last time could do my pedicure she gets upset and got an attitude. The girl said she had someone coming so I said well thats ok then. But after the owner gets an attitude noway was I going to pay her yet alone do my feet. Not worth the headache....lost me as a customer....

Great atmosphere. But didnt appreciate the prices. I had to pay up front for my drink. My own salon gives u a free beverage with pedicure and manicure. Sad to say 6days later my gel polish peeled off.

I went here a couple days ago , and received a full set from one of the guys in there & they did a sloppy job. He rushed through my nails, the paint is chipping off on all the nails. My nails are also very thick , and the length is not what i asked for. It was a waste of $40. If he wasn’t very experienced with nails, he shouldn’t have led me to think he could do them. Won’t ever go back to him!

I have used this place a couple of times but unfortunately today was not a good experience. The shop did not open on time & when I did finally get inside I had to wait. There were only three ppl working( that should have been a sign) but I waited hoping my lady would show. After waiting about 40min a chair came open so I said I f it and took it. Big mistake. After waiting tht long I had another appointment and could not take my business else where. Someone thought my child did my nails the way she blended my colors. When I had time to call back they said they wouldn’t fix it cuz I already paid and because I brought my own product. BS she knew wht I had and asked what I wanted, if she couldn’t do it she should have said so. & they act as if they don’t know how to set appointments anyway. Never again!!!

I went for the first time after googling a near by nail salon and they did not disappoint! my go to nail salon from now on!!!!

Staff is friendly and the service is great and reasonably priced. They did a great job on my manicure and pedicure along with my lashes. The glue didnt make my eyes burn so bad.

At one time, this was my favorite place. My pedicure would last a month. Then something changed....my toes were chipping within a few days. This happened several times. I blamed it on the nail tech, and found out who the best person was on staff. She did my pedicure...it chipped within a couple of days. That was it! I will never go back to Spa nails. Now I go to Orlando in Durham. He does a beautiful jib and it lasts!!!

This was my first time, they were late opening, I asked for a full set and they were poor quality, I had acrylic bunched up under 4 of the nails, the acrylic on three of them did not fully cover all of my nail, and I had a glob of polish left on one and a spotty nail polish job on the full set. I will never return.

This is one of the best nail salons in Durham. I’ve been going here for years, as well as my mother and sisters. Everyone is polite and they are all good at everything.

I had my nails done there only once.I had gel all over my fingers, and it awfully hurt for two days and two nights (it prevented me from sleeping!!!).The layer of gel was sooooo thick and overflowing on my fingers skin...Since it was my first time, I thought it was supposed to hurt... but I tried another place and nope... that is not supposed to hurt and the gel is supposed to be placed only on the nail! Haha...Not to mention that after a week, it was all off my nails underneath looked awful...I would never ever recommend this place.

It had me Waiting hr1 an 30 mins to be seen and they made jokes about it I didnt like it I was uncomfortable and wanted to leave and they pick and choose who they gon do and they dont tell ppl to make appointments just have walk in sitting while the appointment get right in the chair if feel with ppl getting these check from the stimulus they going to be busy be faster and let ppl know how long there going to haft to wait smdh

This is not my normal nail salon however I went there because I was visiting my mom in Durham and the other 2 that I have been to before were closed I usually get the sns powder nail however this salon did not offer it but my nails really needed to be done so I opted to get gel the gentleman that did my nails was nice and I did not have to wait long however my gel started to peel of my nails two days after they were done that Thursday I had a meeting in Durham so I had time to go there to get it fixed a lady fixed the two nails no problem about four days later the same two nails plus another one started coming off so gels should last about 2 weeks not 3 days

First time coming in and won’t be the last time! Lisa did my nails and they are so professionally done! i’ll be getting an appointment with her next time for sure! 😃

They have no order. They rude. They might speak when you first come in but they will let you sit there for hours without being helped. And no one will acknowledge you have been sitting there the whole time.

Very bad service, yesterday I went to have my hands done, I showed them the design I wanted, they quoted what it was worth, it was 85, I didnt see a problem... When they finished it wasnt what I had asked for... I told them why? They acted like crazy since I had to translate on my phone, of course, it was already so that I had to leave them to me... yesterday night two nails fell off... the truth is that it hurt me so much to lose my money like that.
