Awesome Massage

I have probably had over 100 massages over the last many years and this was the worst experience Ive ever had. Every massage before this one, even the not so great ones, at least were all similar in how they did it. The following is a list of things that were so different here, that collectively, made this an awful experience:I have NEVER had to pay up front before. Which, honestly wasnt a big issue and understandable request, but I have never had to in the past. They also charge $15 more than my regular massage location. (Was visiting for this one)The massage table was the HARDEST table I have ever laid on and was so uncomfortable. I was hoping it would get better once I was able to settle in, but it did not. Also, instead of a full size sheet to cover with, they give you a sheet the size of a bath towel. Im short and it still didnt cover me.I undressed but left my underwear on, as I have at every single other massage place Ive ever been, and laid on the table. When the lady came in, she did the most basic warm-up and then brought my underwear down to fully expose my bottom. Then she tapped my bottom and asked if I was ok. Now, I am not shy and my bottom being exposed wasnt entirely the issue, it was the fact that it was not discussed initially as it would have made some people very uncomfortable and no other massage person has EVER pulled my underwear down. Then my bottom was left exposed the entire time she worked on my back so I was cold. I see no reason for the exposure period, but especially if you are not even going to work on that area.She used so much oil that all I could hear the whole time was sloshing. Again, never had this much oil in my life. I could feel it dripping down my sides.The massage itself was basic at best. She stayed in the same spot for significantly longer than needed or should have. It was more rubbing in place than actually massaging. When she did apply pressure it was not done well at all. Ive had HARD massages, the kind that leave good bruises and they didnt feel like this. It felt she had zero technique and was just pushing with her fingers. I had to speak up several times.Towards the beginning of the massage, another patron came in the store. For whatever reason, the massage person started yelling at one of the other workers. Then they started going back and forth with their conversation. Instead of leaving and having a private, quite conversation, they were just yelling back and forth from inside and outside the room. Was not relaxing at all. Then, throughout the massage, the massage person must have had her phone lying on the massage table because every once in a while I could feel a vibration as if a text went off. She would also stop the massage from time to time, presumably to answer her phone. I say presumably because I obviously could not see what she was doing while I was lying down, but could feel everything.After she finished working on my backside, she said she was done. I asked about doing the front side, and she said, no we finished. I said, CAN you do the front side? And she said no. I have NEVER had a massage place not do the front muscles, as well. Ever.I got dressed and debated if I wanted to leave a tip. This was already more expensive than any other massage I had ever had plus she didnt even do half my body. I decided I wasnt going to leave a tip. Something I have never done. At my regular massage place, I leave a 40% tip, because they are that good. Ive never left less than 20% at any place. I am not a cheap tipper at all. So the fact that I didnt even feel this was worthy of a tip, said a lot to me. As I started to walk out, she called me over to her. She said something, which I initially couldnt understand, so had to ask her to repeat a couple times. I realized she said, you have to tip me. I asked her if she wanted a tip and she said I have to tip. I told her it was not a good experience and she got angry and insisted I had to tip her.Worst experience ever. I wish I had the 5-star experience others apparently had.
